Britain’s Prince Charles has been showing off his creative skills.
The 66-year-old royal tried his hand at engraving as they visited London Craft Week yesterday (05.02.15), much to his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall’s delight, who giggled as she watched him try to master the skill.
The couple were clearly in high spirits as they received demonstrations from craftsman at the event at The Art Workers’ Guild in Bloomsbury, London, with the heir apparent even joking that he couldn’t see after donning a pair of safety glasses for protection.
The prince also tried his hand at some tailoring at the fair while the duchess, 67, was taught how to apply gold embossing.
The couple then went their separate ways to carry out more royal engagements through the afternoon.
Charles stopped by the print charity, the St Bride Foundation, where he chatted with staff about their work.
He then toured a library and met with young workers to discuss how they could keep traditional printing methods alive, reports HELLO! Online.
Meanwhile, the duchess visited St Bride’s Church, where was treated to a tour of the Crypt museum.
