Prince Charles enjoys Prince of Wales drink

Prince Charles enjoyed a free drink at a Prince of Wales pub yesterday (24.01.18).
The 67-year-old royal took advantage of the establishment being named after himself when he and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, grabbed a complimentary beverage each during a visit to Congleton, Cheshire, north west England.
A post on the Clarence House Twitter account read: "Well… if you spot a The Prince of Wales pub on your Congleton visit… (sic)"
The royal couple also visited members of the community, including a local knitting group, at community hub The Old Saw Mill.
Clarence House tweeted: "Their Royal Highnesses visit The Old Saw Mill community hub in Congleton. They meet local activity groups who use the space, including the local knitting group, and Meals on Wheels."
During the pair’s time there they had a chat with members of the Christmas Day Lunch team who cooked up the festive treat for 20 local residents and a dog.
The royal couple also headed to the town hall, where they were given a guard of honour by members of the Air Cadets, Scouts, Guides and Cubs.
Charles told them: "It’s been an enormous pleasure to meet you."
Hundreds lined the streets to welcome Charles and Camilla to Congleton, armed with flags and banners to celebrate their arrival.
The pair have another exciting event to look forward to in May when Charles’ son Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle – and Camilla recently admitted she is "absolutely delighted" about their engagement.
She said: "It’s brilliant and as I said, America’s loss is our gain. We are all absolutely delighted."
