Post Malone ‘beyond honoured’ to work with Taylor Swift

Post Malone is “beyond honoured” to have collaborated with Taylor Swift.

The 28-year-old singer has teamed up with the pop superstar on ‘Fortnight’, the lead single from her new album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, and the ‘Sunflower’ hitmaker hailed his new friend as a “once in a lifetime” talent, who left him “floored”.

Sharing a photo of them together on Instagram, he gushed: “It’s once in a lifetime that someone like @taylorswift comes into this world.

“I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey. I love you so much. Thank you Tay.”

Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, liked the post.

When the ‘Karma’ hitmaker announced details of the single last week, she admitted she was a “huge fan” of her collaborator, whose real name is Austin Post.

She wrote on Instagram: “I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever.

“I got to witness that magic come to life first-hand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight’.”

Meanwhile, Jack Antonoff – who co-produced ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ with The National’s Aaron Dessner and Taylor herself – recently admitted he’d been left “overwhelmed” by the reaction to the record, just hours after its release.

On X, he posted: “[I] love this album more than I can say …. love you all very much … more later very overwhelmed … love you Taylor [sic].”

In two separate posts, Jack – who is credited as a co-writer on several songs – appeared to highlight two of his favourite tracks on the album, writing “!! FOTS heads lets go !!”, seemingly referencing the song ‘Fresh Out The Slammer’, as well as stating “Down bad heads as well”, referring to the track ‘Down Bad’.
