Pink teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for a parody of Lady Marmalade at the Tony Awards.
The So What? star was hosting the prestigious theatre awards on Sunday (07.06.26) and she kicked off the ceremony with a spoof of her 2001 hit single, which she dropped over two decades ago with Lil’ Kim and Christina Aguilera for Moulin Rouge.
Delivering the Leading Lady Marmalade parody, Pink gave nods to some of Broadway’s best stars in the chorus, while Megan reworked Kim’s rap.
Lea Michele, who wasn’t among the nominees this year, appeared to hit Christina’s big note, joking: “We don’t do it for the awards.”
June Squibb, who is the oldest acting nominee in Tonys history and was nominated for best featured actress in a play, was sat in the front row and had a scene-stealing cameo.
To the tune of “Mocha Chocolata, ya-ya”, she quipped: “All the parts I’ve played, I’ve slayed them.”
Before the event, Pink had promised her hosting stint would be “just a full-blown ridiculous celebration”.
She told Broadway.com: “I told them my one caveat was that immediately as soon as I step onto the stage, I have to make fun of myself, and make it absolutely just about fun and celebrating everyone.”
Elsewhere at the ceremony, Pink teamed up with some huge names to pay tribute to Chicago with a medley from the iconic musical, marking 30 years on Broadway.
She was joined by Queen Latifah, Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Mulvaney, Alex Newell, Julianne Hough and more for the special performance, including classic tracks like When You’re Good To Mama, Cell Block Tango, and All That Jazz.
Meanwhile, Leslie Odom Jr. took to the stage for the ceremony’s In Memoriam segment and delivered an emotional rendition of Without You from Rent.
As he did, a slideshow paid tribute to the likes of Diane Keaton, Robert Redford, Robert Duvall and more.
At the end of the tribute, a quote from Rent director Jonathan Larson was used, which said: “Forget regret, or life is yours to miss.
“No other road, no other way, no day but today.”
