Pink has shaved her head.
The 40-year-old singer has decided to ditch her blonde locks in favour of a new look for Christmas, and she revealed the fresh image with her followers on Instagram this week.
Alongside a snap of her holding her hair in her hands as she’s leaning down with the top of her head facing the camera, she simply wrote: "Letting go."
The change of style has already proven popular, with Kate Hudson – who has similarly shaved her hair in the past – responding: "The most liberating."
And Pink’s husband Carey Hart – with whom she has children Willow, eight, and two-year-old Jameson – is clearly a big fan.
He commented: "Love it!!!!!! (sic)"
Selma Blair shaved her own hair while she was undergoing Multiple Sclerosis treatment, and she wrote: "Twins!! (sic)"
The new ‘do comes after Pink revealed she is going to take a break from her music in 2020 after a hectic few years including the releases of 2017 album ‘Beautiful Trauma’ and this year’s follow-up ‘Hurts 2B Human’.
She said: "We did two and a half years of [music], and Willow’s back in school now.
"Jameson’s going to start pre-school soon. It’s kind of the year of the family. And Carey has a lot going on as well. He’s super supportive, he follows me around the world and now it’s his turn."
And the star recently admitted her marriage to Carey had been life-changing for her.
She gushed: "Isn’t marriage fun? Yeah, we fight for each other… There’s been so many [life-changing moments], I don’t even know.
"I think it was probably Carey and I’s ride this whole time. Just becoming a woman. Going from a kid, a derelict to becoming a woman and figuring out who I am and finding my village."
