Pierce Brosnan signs up for Final Score

Pierce Brosnan has been cast in action film ‘Final Score.’
The 63-year-old former James Bond star has signed up to be part of director Scott Mann’s upcoming movie that takes place in a soccer stadium that is seized by a group of armed criminals demanding a ransom. An ex-soldier must step up and save the 35,000 hostages, one of which is the daughter of a fallen comrade.
The project is set to start filming in London on 8 August at Upton Park stadium in London, which was the home of soccer club West Ham United for over 100 years but they have just left the ground to move to the London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Once filming has finished the grounds will be handed over to a property developer.
Brosnan will star alongside WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista – who played henchman Mr. Hinx in the last 007 film ‘Spectre’ and is currently filming the as-yet untitled ‘Blade Runner’ sequel.
Also appearing are Alexandra Dinu and Julian Cheung.
Marc Goldberg of Signature Entertainment is producing alongside The Fyzz Facility’s Robert Jones, Mark Lane, James Harris and Wayne Marc Godfrey. Elizabeth Williams is acting as executive producer and will work with Babak Eftekhari on the project.
Speaking about the movie – which is based on a script written by brothers Lynch and Jonathan Frank – Jones said: "’Final Score’ may be set in London but truly it’s a story that’s relatable the world over. Scott Mann’s vision has scale, white knuckle tension, humour and heart."
