Phillip Schofield nearly vomits on air after NTAs

Phillip Schofield nearly vomited live on ‘This Morning’ today (23.01.19) after partying hard at the National Television Awards last night (22.01.19).
The 56-year-old TV presenter and his 37-year-old co-host Holly Willoughby arrived to the ITV studio on motorbikes to front the show today after celebrating the programme’s Daytime Show win for the ninth year running at last night’s ceremony.
As they burst into the studio, Phil said: "Thank you guys, that was hell of a night out! I’m about to be sick in the helmet I think.
"Tell you what, that was a hell of a club, I just put my hands in pocket [leather jacket] and that was a mistake.
"We are so grateful, never take it for granted, it means so much to us, this is yours guys …you are the best, thank you."
Holly added: "It was an incredible night, really emotional, I was all over the place, I think people think you come here every year, it means so much and people say the nicest things.
"The atmosphere at The O2 was incredible last night, it was electric, really nice feeling for ‘This Morning.’ "
The duo first turned up to the show appearing to still be tipsy from the night before in 2016 – and have since continued the tradition.
That year, they presented the show in their gowns from the night before and told viewers they had come straight into work after hitting an after-party at Ant McPartlin’s house.
A year later, the duo repeated their actions and presented the daytime talk show slightly worse-for-wear.
