Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to make This Morning return on September 1

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will return to ‘This Morning’ on September 1st.

The presenting duo will be back on the show next Tuesday after their summer break, and they will be joined by a host of roving reporters, including actor Nigel Havers, who is to present a four-part ‘Best of British’ segment, which will see him embark on a stunning tour to learn of the nation’s history and achievements.

Nigel said: "It’s a genuine pleasure to be able to take the time out to tour Britain for This Morning viewers this September.

"I’ve packed some hand sanitiser, a picnic blanket and an umbrella just in case."

John Torode, one of the show’s resident chefs, will host ‘Torode’s Skeleton Coast’, in which he will travel by air, sea and land from Dorset along the great Jurassic Coast, where he will visit local producers including a blueberry farm, a flour mill and a cider farm.

He said: "Dorset is one of my favourite parts of the country and I feel very lucky to have been able to get out and explore the mighty Jurassic Coast during this time.

"I cannot wait to share some gorgeous recipes from the area. Not to mention that viewers will get the chance to judge my kayaking skills … so watch Torode back out on the road."

What’s more, wellness expert Liz Earle will let the cameras into her farm this autumn, where she will be using her expertise in natural wellness to inform viewers how to live longer by striving for a healthier lifestyle and maintaining fitness.

Liz said: "Join me for a new term in natural health and wellness.

"This year has been incredibly hard on all of us and so it’s even more important to take the time out to focus on ourselves every once in a while."

Dr. Scott Miller will front ‘Dr. Scott’s Super Dogs’, a three-episode segment which will see the programme’s resident vet champion hero four-legged friends who have helped to save lives across the country.

He said: "I’ve been completely blown away by the bravery, skill and intelligence of the dogs I’ve met.

"Whether they are trained in detecting disease and illness in humans or have learnt to sniff out poachers in African reserves, it’s simply mind-blowing."

This Morning’s usual Friday presenters, husband and wife duo Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, have stepped in for Phil and Holly over the summer.
