Phillip doesn’t care about offending This Morning viewers

Phillip Schofield doesn’t "give a s**t" if people are offended by ‘This Morning’.

The 52-year-old presenter admits he has stopped using social media so much because he feels frustrated by the number of people who want to complain or express their outrage.

He said: "I [tweet] less now. I’ve hauled myself back a little bit and that’s down to the professionally outraged. I find them so bloody dull. They bore my a**e off.

"People watch ‘This Morning’ and complain directly to me about things and I don’t give a s**t.

"Dont complain to me, complain to the show. Or do what everyone seems to bloody do these days and go to Ofcom.

"Twitter used to be a hotbed of brilliant humour but you really have to look for it these days because the outrage brigade have hijacked the damn thing and that’s dull."

The show recently causes a stir with an item called ‘Bondage For Beginners’, but Phillip believes they will cause offense to someone whatever they do.

He told heat magazine: "If we put kittens playing together on ‘This Morning’ we’d get complaints.

"Someone would find it outrageous and offensive.

"The bondage item was tied in with the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film and far more people went out and bought the items shown than complained."
