Perri Kiely for Dancing on Ice

Perri Kiely is to take part in ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The 23-year-old dancer has reportedly signed up for the skating contest, sparking controversy because fellow Diversity star Ashley Banjo – who he has worked with for 12 years – is one of the judges.
However, even amid suggestions of favouritism, bosses are confident Perri has what it takes to wow the rest of the ice panel, as well as the audience at home, and win the show.
A source told The Sun online: "Bosses are over the moon they’ve managed to land Perri for the new series.
"He’s got bucket loads of personality and they’re convinced he’ll bring great energy to the show.
"There’s also no doubt he’ll be able to pull off some amazing moves that’ll seriously entertain viewers.
"If he can do the stunts on ice too he stands a great chance of winning the whole thing!"
Expected to join Perri on the show is Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins.
A source said recently: "’Dancing On Ice’ is set to be a huge showbiz comeback for ‘H’ and producers are thrilled at the prospect of him joining the show.
"He won a legion of fans in his Steps days with his cheesy dance moves and he could do it all over again by recreating them on the ice.
"Bosses think he’d be hilarious."
And it was recently revealed that ‘Love Island’s Maura Higgins is set to compete on the show and was chosen over winner Amber Gill.
A source previously claimed: "’Dancing On Ice’ producers were always going to sign a Love Island star for next year’s series and they wanted a girl this time after having two guys in the past.
"It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality."
During their time in the villa, Maura’s partner, dancer Curtis Pritchard, showed her some steps and she’s hoping his choreography skills will come in useful on the skating show.
The source added: "Maura is hoping Curtis can now teach her more moves, even though she will be on the ice."
John Barrowman recently confirmed he’ll be replacing Jason Gardiner on the judging panel alongside Ashley , Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
