Paul Hollywood’s name mix up

Paul Hollywood keeps calling Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig ‘Mel and Sue’.
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ star moved with the show when it was snapped away from the BBC by Channel 4 and reportedly keeps making the faux pas by referring to the show’s former presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, who fronted the show for six years.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Paul keeps calling them Mel and Sue in conversations and during filming without realising. He starred on Bake Off with Mel and Sue for six years so it’s no surprise he has not quite got his head around the change in presenters.
"To start with it was endearing   but  filming has finished on the new series and started on the Christmas show and he’s still getting Sandi and Noel mixed up with Mel and Sue all these weeks down the line. It’s a bit awkward when he does it and no one wants to say anything."
Meanwhile, Paul recently revealed the standard is "ten times higher" this year.
He said: "The presenters are on for about five minutes and the bakers are on there for 50 minutes, so they are the stars of the show. The characters on this year’s show are the strongest we have had and the standard is ten times higher. People get wrapped up in all this ‘host and judges’ thing too much. They forget that it’s all about the bakers."
And in contrast to the old presenting team, the new line-up are said to spend little time with each other when the cameras are not rolling.
The source said previously: "Paul, Prue, Sandi and Noel sit in their personal spaces backstage and don’t talk to each other. Sandi in particular spends most of the time knitting alone and refusing to mix with the others."
