Patsy Palmer doesn’t want EastEnders return

Patsy Palmer "doesn’t want" to return to ‘EastEnders’.
The 44-year-old actress was best known for portraying motor mouth Bianca Jackson, who got her own catchphrase "Riiiiicky", in the long-running soap on and off for 20 years but has admitted, although her alter ego is regularly name dropped in the scripts, she has no intention of stepping back into Albert Square any time soon.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (20.04.17), she said: "I don’t know if my character will return. To be honest I never say never to anything, it’s a big mistake to say that but to be honest I’m nearly 45 and I don’t really want to. There is so much you don’t do when you’re in Elstree Studios for 20 years and you can never go in for just one episode. Last time I went back I was there for seven years. You know how quick time goes and you have a lot of friends there. It’s hard to step out of it."
Although she thoroughly enjoyed her time on the show for the most part, the flame-haired beauty hated that spoilers were let out of the bag before episodes aired.
She explained: "It was two episodes a week but now everybody wants to know what’s going on. I used to say ‘you’re supposed to have a cliff hanger why do you keep telling everyone what’s going to happen?’"
Since leaving the show in 2014, Patsy has moved to Malibu with her husband and three children and, although she doesn’t miss acting, she has revealed there could be some TV work on the horizon – although it won’t be a drama.
She said: "I’m working with a producer, a big executive TV producer. It’s not a drama. I don’t actually miss acting one bit. I just don’t."
