Paris Hilton praises Kim Kardashian West on baby name

Paris Hilton has praised Kim Kardashian West for naming her baby daughter Chicago.
The 37-year-old reality star and her husband Kanye West welcomed their third child into the world earlier this week when she was born via surrogate mother and chose to bestow the city-inspired moniker upon her, and now fellow TV personality Paris has given the name her seal of approval.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday (20.01.18), the 36-year-old DJ and businesswoman said: Congratulations @KimKardashian on your new baby girl! Love the name Chicago! So cool to be named after a city! Loves it (sic)"
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who already has four-year-old daughter North and two-year-old son Saint with her spouse – revealed Chicago’s moniker in a post on her app on Friday (19.01.18), four days after welcoming the tot into the world.
The post simply read, "Chicago West", but did not divulge the reason behind the name. However, it is well known that Kanye was brought up in Chicago.
Meanwhile, Kim recently publicly thanked her surrogate for carrying the couple’s third child.
She said: "I’m so grateful for modern technology and that this is even possible. It’s not for everyone, but I absolutely love my gestational carrier and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Our gestational carrier gave us the greatest gift one could give.
"The connection with our baby came instantly and it’s as if she was with us the whole time. Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true. We are so excited to finally welcome home our baby girl."
The couple – who married in 2014 – shared the happy news on social media on Tuesday (16.01.18), after having welcomed their child into the world the day before.
The social media post read: "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
