Paloma Faith and Nile Rogers to star at Hampton Court Palace Festival

Paloma Faith and Nile Rogers and Chic are set to perform at the Hampton Court Palace Festival in 2024.

The star-studded event is set to open at the royal palace in Richmond upon Thames, south-west London, on June 13, and the festival will feature a host of big-name artists.

Nile, 71, and his band will perform some of their best-known hits on the opening night, kicking the festival off in style.

Sam Ryder will take to the stage on June 14, when he’ll perform his hit song ‘Space Man’, which previously earned the UK its highest position at ‘Eurovision’ in more than two decades.

The final two evenings will be helmed by Deacon Blue, the biggest Scottish band in recent memory, on 19 June, while Paloma will perform on June 20.

Deacon Blue are set to perform their critically-acclaimed debut single ‘Dignity’, as well as a host of other classics, such as ‘I’ll Never Fall in Love Again’, ‘Real Gone Kid’, ‘Fergus Sings the Blues’ and ‘Your Town’.

Paloma, 42 – who released her debut solo album, ‘Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?’, back in 2009 – will close out the festival with her biggest tracks from her upcoming album ‘The Glorification of Sadness’.

For the very first time, the event will also present a live podcast called ‘The Rest Is History’, with historians Dominic Sandbrook and Tom Holland hosting a show about Henry VIII and the Tudor period.

Ticket pre-sales for the event begin at 10am on Friday (01.12.23), with tickets for general sale starting on December 4 on the Hampton Court Palace Festival website.
