Skrillex is reportedly being sued after he landed on a fan on while stage diving at a gig in 2012.
The 26-year-old musician - real name Sonny Moore - could be forced to pay out after Jennifer Fraissl allegedly filed a lawsuit against him, claiming she suffered a stroke as a result of the trauma.
The female supporter claims Skrillex asked the crowd at the Belasco theatre in Los Angeles to move forward so that he could leap from the stage and crowd surf.
However, Jennifer was stood at the front, so it was impossible for her to get out of the tight spot among the other fans, which resulted in her allegedly being injured by the star.
Jennifer is reportedly claiming for unspecified damages, medical expenses and loss of income.
According to TMZ.com, both Skrillex and the nightclub have been named in the lawsuit as she believes the event organisers failed to step in and stop the star from behaving recklessly on their premises.
Skrillex and The Belasco have yet to comment on the claims.
Meanwhile, Skrillex announced last year he was planning on releasing his debut album in the near future.
Asked if he had new music to release, he told Radio 1: "For sure - sooner rather than later, I'd say sooner."

Nick Jonas joined Demi Lovato on stage on Sunday (09.02.14).
The 'Heart Attack' hitmaker surprised fans on the opening night of her 'Neon Lights' tour in Vancouver when she performed with the former Jonas Brothers singer.
The duo belted out three tracks, 'Stop The World', 'Catch Me' and 'Here We Go Again' together, while Nick, 21, played the guitar.
The 21-year-old beauty - who has famously dated Nick's brother Joe Jonas in the past - had originally hired the hunky star as the musical and creative director of her tour a few months ago.
Nick said previously: "I'm overseeing video content, wardrobe, lighting and staging. And then I'm extending into the musical side of things, which includes creating the arrangements for the songs.
"I'm building what Demi wanted, which is a show without stops and starts."
The performer - who was previously in a band with his brothers Kevin, 26, and Joe, 24 - has been close friends with Demi for a number of years and wanted to make sure he did her proud.
He continued: "I was immediately excited when I was offered the position. The relationship that Demi and I had over eight years really gives me the insight into how to best communicate with her and her team."

Richard Bacon has become a father again.
The radio host took to Twitter today (11.02.14) to announce that his wife Rebecca McFarlane gave birth to their daughter Ivy, their second child, last Thursday (06.02.14).
The 38-year-old presenter posted a picture of the newborn, accompanied with the caption: "This is Ivy. She is mine. (Born on Thursday but I forgot to tell anyone). (sic)"
After sharing the news with his surprised fans, Richard was bombarded with congratulatory messages from his supporters and fellow celebrity pals.

Lee Ryan and Jasmine Waltz are "totally in love".
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestants were all over each other during their time in the house, and despite living thousands of miles apart - with Jasmine's home being in California while Lee lives in London - the pair claim they're crazy about one another.

Peter Capaldi's age won't affect Doctor Who's personality.
The 55-year-old actor has been tasked with following in 31-year-old star Matt Smith's footsteps as the next incarnation of the quick-witted Time Lord, and showrunner Steven Moffat says the main motivation behind the change-up was casting a great actor rather than an older Doctor.
Asked whether he had consciously stepped away from Matt's "sexy" portrayal of the Doctor, he said: "[After] Matt Smith's wonderful Doctor, we said, 'What other young man could do that?' I can think of one actor right now who'd be a brilliant choice for the Doctor, but you just think, 'It's another sexy young man with amazing hair,' and we've done that.

Steven also addressed fan criticism that the time-travelling Gallifreyan has become too "sexualised" in recent years, insisting that love has always been part of the long-running BBC One show's identity.
He told IGN.com: "People talk about sex in 'Doctor Who' - I heard someone say that to me, 'You've sexualised the Doctor.'
"It's a fact of the canon of the show that the Doctor was a married man and had children. 'Mr Peabody and Sherman' used even more artists than 'The Lion King', says director Rob Minkoff.
The new animated comedy is helmed by the 51-year-old filmmaker who is also responsible for Disney's tale about loveable lion Simba, which was released in 1994, and he admits the production on his latest picture shared similarities to his previous work.
Talking at the 3D premiere of 'Mr Peabody and Sherman' in New York City, Minkoff explained: "When we did 'Lion King' it was all drawn and now we use computers to do the work. There were still as many artists working on 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman' as there were on 'Lion King', in fact maybe even more."
He claims the use of technology and computer-generated images are some of the biggest differences he faced for the DreamWorks picture.
Minkoff added: "But the fact that we are building these three dimensional worlds within the computer and getting to film them almost like a regular movie is the biggest difference between now and two decades ago."
Ty Burrell - who voices the genius dog Mr Peabody - insists the animation was more important than the voice work.
He told Variety.com: "The animators are the stars. I'm not saying that (the voices) are completely unimportant, but the animators are definitely the most important part of this process."

George Clooney doesn't want to rely on acting roles as he gets older.
The 52-year-old star - who is set to hit the big screen as Lieutenant Frank Stokes in 'The Monuments Men' which he also wrote, produced and directed - is exploring other parts of filmmaking as he ages, and "enjoys" both writing and directing.
Talking to empireonline.com, the Hollywood hunk said: "The two things I have found later in life, much of it is out of necessity, as you get older as an actor you don't want to rely on being on screen for the rest of your career, so you want other things. I really enjoy writing and directing."
Clooney was thrilled the A-List cast which includes Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman and Cate Blanchett, all agreed to star in 'The Monuments Men' since the script was written with them in mind.
He added: "I flew to Australia for one day to give Cate the script. Bill Murray was at my house, he's a friend. We wrote the parts for almost every one of the actors in it, so we got our first choices. It's unusual but it's also really fun. Having John Goodman again was ... a good friend ... it was good fun."
'The Monuments Men' follows an Allied group who try and save pieces of art and other items of cultural importance before their destruction by German dictator and leader of the Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler, during the Second World War.

Rosie O'Donnell credits her and wife Michelle Rounds' health problems for bringing them closer.

Leonard Nimoy felt it was "unfair" when he was diagnosed with chronic lung disease.
The 82-year-old actor recently revealed he has developed obstructive pulmonary disease, despite quitting smoking 30 years ago, and he admits he has learned a "lesson" about his former deadly habit.
Discussing his diagnosis last May, he said: "I thought, 'This is unfair. I quit a long time ago. Why is this happening to me?'
"But it's a lesson that I had to learn. I damaged the lung cells many years ago and then as age begins the damage of lung cells as well you begin to feel it. So, it's something that can stick up on you later."
The 'Star Trek' star has to carry a special machine around with him to help when he struggles to breathe.
Speaking on 'Piers Morgan Live', he said: "This is an oxygenator. I don't carry a tank of oxygen. This machine gives me oxygen by it extracts oxygen out of the atmosphere and I get it up my nose when I need it.
"I'm still using it sporadically but a couple of years ago I didn't need it at all. Now, there are days when I needed it several times a day.
"I get short of a breath and suddenly feel like I can't get a full breath, I can't catch my breath. So, I have to go to the machine."
Although he gave up cigarettes several decades ago, Leonard admits he was an "Olympic championship smoker" at the height of his addiction.
He said: "Look, I tell people that I was an Olympic championship smoker. If there have been a championship in the addiction, I could have qualified. I could smoke in the shower. I can smoke any place.
"And it was something that you - it was part of my culture. It was part of my gang, my guys, the people I hang out with. It was cool to be able to light a cigarette."
