David Beckham can ‘die happy’ after Only Fools and Horses

David Beckham can "die a happy man" after shooting a sketch for 'Only Fools and Horses'.
The retired soccer player is set to star alongside Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst in a one-off special of the classic sitcom - which ran on BBC One from 1981 and 2003 - for the Sport Relief charity, and he says it was surreal to be on set with Del Boy and Rodney having grown up watching the show.
David gushed to Radio Times magazine: "I can die a happy man after these two days [of filming]. I think that what it's really about is making people laugh, making people smile and raising money for important charities that are doing a lot of incredible work."
The 38-year-old hunk admits he was incredibly nervous the night before filming the sketch and coming face-to-face with his favourite TV characters.
He explained: "The day of filming started off with a slightly sleepless night, going over my script. The thought of being on set with Nicholas and David was obviously very nerve-racking.
"I woke up that morning with my script on my chest. I've never done anything like this before, especially with two people I'm really in awe of and have been for many years.
"It wasn't just about learning the script, it was about delivering it, saying the right things at the right time."

Verity Rushworth postponed honeymoon for Emmerdale return

Verity Rushworth has put her honeymoon on hold to return to 'Emmerdale'.
The actress is set to return to the ITV soap this month for the first time since 2009 as cheating cop Donna Dingle and she says the role is so important to her that she has postponed her plans to celebrate her union with theatre director Dominic Shaw in the Maldives.
She explained to The Sun newspaper: "We want to do something really special, like fly off to the Maldives. We were thinking about this year, when my show finished, then this job came up and I just had to do it, so we've still not got there.
"I've put my honeymoon on hold for 'Emmerdale', which shows how much I want to do it! We've started filming and it is hectic already. But he gets I'm working all the time because he is usually doing the same. We are together one day a week always, which is just the way it's always been and helps to keep things fresh."
Verity has pursued a stage career since leaving the soap, with roles in 'The Sound of Music' and 'Chicago', but insists returning to the set felt as natural as coming "home".
She added: "Once we started filming again it was like I'd never been away - it felt like coming home... Donna's changed a bit. She's more mature and a mum.
"She's skinny jeans and striped tops these days - but as a person she's the same so I hope the viewers will enjoy seeing her back in the village again."

David Walliams’ The Boy in the Dress to become BBC film

David Walliams' book 'The Boy in the Dress' is being turned into a TV film for the BBC.
The comedian's first children's story about a twelve-year-old boy who enjoys cross-dressing is being adapted into a feature-length film which is due to air this Christmas.
He proudly announced the news on Twitter by writing: "I am very excited to tell you that my first children's book 'The Boy in the Dress' is going to be a Christmas TV film on @BBCOne (sic)"
David first disclosed the news at a World of Walliams Mega Event on March 8, explaining to an audience that 'The Boy in a Dress' is currently in production and his later works, 'Ratburger', 'Demon Dentist' and 'Billionaire Boy' will follow.
This is the next step in an already successful deal with the BBC for David, after 'Mr Stink' was broadcast on December 23 2012 and 'Gangsta Granny' was shown on December 26 last year.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge also revealed that Jo Sargeant, who produced the first two TV films, is already working on the forthcoming adaptations.
'The Boy in the Dress' is a semi-autobiographical story about Dennis, who befriends the popular girls in school and likes to wear girls' clothes.
The announcement was met wide widespread approval, with BBC One tweeting, "is it Christmas yet? We can't wait", and fans enthusing, "It's becoming an annual event! Congratulations."

EastEnders’ Stacey and Max Branning to share kiss

Stacey and Max Branning will share a passionate kiss in 'EastEnders'.
The former lovebirds - who previously had an illicit affair while Stacey (Lacey Turner) was engaged to Max's son Bradley - will reunite next week in a hotel room as fugitive Stacey worries about her future in Walford.
The returning favourite will hide away in a hotel while cousin Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) prepares to give false testimony in the murder trial of Michael Moon, in order to aid Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) in exchange for her dropping charges against Stacey - whom she falsely accused of stabbing her in 2010, resulting in Stacey fleeing the country.
Stacey is on edge but a visit from old flame Max (Jake Wood) soon calms her nerves and the pair give in to temptation with a kiss.
Although old feelings resurface, Stacey's mind is still on Kat, who is about to perjure herself in order to help Stacey.
The young mum quickly leaves the hotel to stop Kat, but things take a turn for the worst when she runs into Archie's daughter, Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack).
A source told Inside Soap magazine: "It's make-or-break time for Stacey now. Stacey knows that Kat is taking a huge risk and she doesn't want to see her cousin get into serious trouble.
"Stacey killed Ronnie's father, Archie, and that's not something Ronnie can forget."

Paddy McGuinness not threatened by dating shows

Paddy McGuinness isn't worried about other dating shows being more successful than 'Take Me Out'.
The 40-year-old comedian recently finished hosting the sixth series of the ITV programme and has admitted that he doesn't feel threatened by other dating shows because 'Take Me Out' has been the only successful one "since 'Blind Date' ".
When asked what he thinks of other channels introducing similar programmes, he said: "It's almost like a compliment, really, that they're all getting on to it now ... but thank the lord and touch wood ours is still going.
"They all seem to do a couple of series then disappear so it's quite flattering really that they're all starting to do dating shows from the strengths of 'Take Me Out'."
The TV star also claimed that although he's become one of the main faces of Saturday night television, alongside Ant and Dec, this was never his intention.
He told BANG Showbiz exclusively: "I kind of fell into doing Saturday night TV ... I think with big entertainment shows, Saturday night is where they belong, really.
"So it's not a case of me thinking, 'Oh I mist be the face of Saturday night TV', it's just the kind of shows that I do."
Paddy McGuinness is encouraging the public to have a 'Fling in Spring' with a Cadbury Creme Egg. It's no yolk, have a crack and visit www.cadbury.co.uk/fling for more information.

Beyonce shuns partying for family

Beyonce "doesn't really go out" since becoming a mother.
The 32-year-old singer shunned a glitzy afterparty at The Wright Venue in Swords following her show in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday (08.03.14) to return to her penthouse suite at the Fitzwilliam Hotel with husband Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy, two, and insiders say it is usual for her to leave the post-concert celebrating to her crew, management, dancers and backing singers The Mamas.
A source told Ireland's Evening Herald newspaper: "Beyonce's manager said that she doesn't really go out anymore because she is a mum now.
"They released 200 balloons into the crowd and were pouring vodka shots for people. A singer from The Mamas was also up performing her own songs so it was a great night."
During a day off from her Irish shows yesterday (10.03.14), Beyonce and Jay Z took their daughter to Dublin's Phoenix Park, where they went virtually undetected by other families as they spent half an hour in the playground of the park's visitors centre.
The couple, along with their security team, then enjoyed dinner at fashionable eatery Coppinger Row.
And it seems the pair have been enjoying the culinary delights of the city, as following the 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker's show on Sunday (09.03.14), the "extremely humble" couple dined at upmarket eatery Fade Street Social, which opened late just for them.
Beyonce dined on pumpkin flatbreads garnished with fresh rosemary, parmesan, onion purée, sliced chestnut and fried mushroom, while her spouse had a classic strip steak and chips.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said the couple arrived at 11pm.
The representative said: "Usually the kitchen is closing around then but we held on for a few minutes to accommodate them. They were extremely nice and friendly and left very happy."

P. Diddy buying TV channel

P. Diddy has reportedly bid $200 million for a TV station.
The 43-year-old music mogul is one of several investors who have entered talks to acquire cable channel Fuse, which is currently owned by New York-based Madison Square Garden Company (MSG), and incorporate it into his Revolt TV channel, which is backed by Comcast Corp. (CMCSA), three sources told Bloomberg.
According to one of the sources, if Diddy - whose real name is Sean Combs - purchases Fuse, Revolt TV will gain wider distribution and higher subscriber fees. The channel currently reaches around 22.8 million US homes and is carried by Comcast and Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC), compared with the 74 million audience Fuse currently reaches through pay-TV systems including Cablevision Systems Corporation (CVC) and DirecTV (DTV).
MSG refused to comment on the speculation as talks are still "ongoing".
Their spokesperson, Kimberly Kerns, said: "As we have stated, we are exploring strategic alternatives for Fuse, and will have no further comment during what is still an ongoing process."
As well as Revolt TV, Diddy's business interests have also included clothing lines and fragrances, restaurants and he recently jointly purchased an upmarket tequila company.
For the latter venture, he again teamed up with Diageo PLC - with who he has a joint marketing and profit-sharing deal for Ciroc vodka - to acquire luxury alcohol brand DeLeon for an undisclosed sum.
Diddy said: "With Ciroc, we dated. Now with DeLeon, we're married. This deal is way better. This makes me a true owner."

Justin Bieber can’t be ‘broken’

Justin Bieber has vowed he can't be "broken".
The 'Believe' hitmaker insists he is "strong" and has a right to "defend himself" in apparent response to criticism of his behaviour in a taped deposition - including being rude to a court clerk, admitting to taking anti-anxiety drug Xanax without a prescription and feigning sleep - which leaked online.
He tweeted: "Love how some people love to twist and justify the horrible action of others. We all have a right to defend ourselves and feel harassed.
"They can't break us. They can't get us down. We are too strong. We love too much. #mybeliebers (sic)"
Justin, 20, gave the deposition in Miami on Thursday (06.03.14) over a lawsuit from photographer Jeffrey Binion, who claims one of the star's bodyguard's choked him and stole his camera equipment in June 2013 on the orders of the pop star.
In the video, the 'Beauty and a Beat' star was seen visibly angry when asked about on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez by the photographer's lawyer.
The lawyer asked: "Have you ever talked with Selena Gomez and discussed your feelings about paparazzi with her?"
Justin replied: "Don't ask me about her again. Don't ask me about her again. Don't ask me about her again."
At another point, the singer laughs at a question, so the lawyer asks if he needs it reading back.
He replied: "Well, I don't know, Katie Couric. You tell me."
And later in the footage, Justin is asked to "look at the film up there", but replies: "This is a film? This is a film? You said it's a film. You said watch the film. Is this a film?"
He is asked to list the members of his team, and after naming a few people, including manager Scooter Braun, he dismissively says: "The list goes on. It continues, for a long time."
Asked for more names, he adds: "I don't recall."
The lawyer then asked how often his team meet to discuss his bodyguards, with Justin replying "I don't recall" before closing his eyes and pretending to sleep.

Michelle Heaton’s baby birth ‘accidentally’ filmed

Hugh Hanley "accidentally" filmed Michelle Heaton giving birth to their baby boy last month.
The Liberty X singer welcomed her son Aaron Jay - known as AJ - into the world on February 28 and proud father Hugh began recording the special moment when the doctor called him over to where he had been carrying out a caesarian section, thinking he was about to capture their little boy's first minutes on film.
To his surprise, Hugh, who presumed they had the baby "out" found medical staff were still assisting in "plucking him out".
Michelle explained to Britain's OK! magazine: "Within two minutes [of the epidural] AJ was born at 8.49am. Hugh's got the video to prove it..."
He added: "By mistake. Michelle was stuck lying there and she couldn't see, so I had the camera ready. The doctor said, 'Hugh, are you ready?' and I presumed they had him out, but when I went over they were just plucking him out so I've got that moment on video."
Hugh then sent the video to his mother via mobile messaging service What'sApp, much to Michelle's horror.
She added: "Have you ever seen a whale being cut open? ... We didn't realise how graphic it was. I'm OK with blood and guts but Hugh What'sApp'd it to his mum by mistake. I was like 'Delete it now, before she sees it, it's too much'."
Michelle was overcome with happiness and emotion when she first held AJ and the pair - who already have two-year-old daughter Faith - admitted there were tears on "both sides".
She added: "It was hard - I couldn't hold him because they were still operating on me and stapling me up, so I stroked his face and burst into tears."
Asked who cried more, Hugh explained: "Michelle, as always, but there were tears on both sides."

Nicolas Cage: Sucks to be famous right now

Nicolas Cage says it "sucks to be famous right now".
The 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' star recalls being inspired by the late James Dean after watching him on 1955's drama 'Rebel Without a Cause' and 'East of Eden', and insists the American actor's talent made him want to join the film industry.
The 50-year-old actor is disappointed that fame has changed since then as there are people who are "famous for famous' sake" now.
Talking at the South by Southwest festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas on Monday (10.03.14), Cage said: "I started acting because I wanted to be James Dean. I saw him in 'Rebel Without a Cause', 'East of Eden'. Nothing affected me -- no rock song, no classical music -- the way Dean affected in 'Eden.' It blew my mind. I was like, 'That's what I want to do.'
"This was before everyone had a thing called a Smartphone, and before the advent of the 'celebutard' -- just being famous for famous' sake. I'm not complaining, but it really sucks to be famous right now."
Cage will next hit the big screen in crime thriller 'Tokarev' alongside Rachel Nichols.

Gawker urges court to drop Quentin Tarantino lawsuit

Gawker is urging a federal court to drop Quentin Tarantino's 'Hateful Eight' lawsuit.
The website - which stands accused of copyright infringement by linking to a leaked script of the director's upcoming cowboy film, which he has since been forced to scrap - now claims the lawsuit should be dismissed because Tarantino hasn't cited actual copyright infringement, only "contributory" factors.
According to Variety.com, they said in a motion to dismiss filed in US District Court in Los Angeles on Monday (10.03.14) that the lawsuit "does no more than raise the possibility that some member of the public who accessed plaintiff's script using Gawker's link subsequently violated Tarantino's rights by committing an infringement.
"Because plaintiff did not allege any facts showing that an infringing act actually was undertaken by a third party - merely accessing the script by clicking on the link is legally insufficient - plaintiff did not state a claim for contributory infringement."
Gawker also claims that linking to an online version of the script was fair us because it hadn't "reproduced" the material.
They said: "Gawker made minimal use of the script - it reproduced no part of it but merely linked to another publication. Gawker's use was, at most, incidentally commercial and did not usurp the primary market for and purpose of the script: to make a movie."
The Oscar-winning 'Django Unchained' director decided to pull the plug on the movie and is demanding at least $1 million in damages for Gawker's actions.
He said he had only given the script for 'The Hateful Eight' to six people and believes one of them must have let their agent see it, who subsequently sent it on.
District Judge John Walter has scheduled a hearing in the case for April 14.
