James Nesbitt will star in new BBC One drama 'The Missing'.
The 49-year-old actor will star alongside Frances O'Connor in the new thriller about a couple whose child goes missing while they are on holiday in France.
The eight-part series is a co-production with US channel Starz and follows distraught father Tony (James) as he hunts for his son, Oliver, in Paris.
The tragedy has a huge effect on Tony's marriage to Emily, played by 'Mr Selfridge' actress Frances, and threatens to tear the couple apart.
Meanwhile, Tcheky Karyo is set to play a French detective who heads up the police investigation into the disappearance.
BBC's head of independent drama Polly Hill said: "We are pleased to announce such an exciting cast that brings together the best of British and French actors, led by James Nesbitt, Frances O'Connor and Tcheky Karyo, in this powerful new drama for BBC One."
Producer John York added: "It's rare to find a new take on the detective drama, so it's a real pleasure to be involved with a project that both embraces the genre while finding incredibly exciting new ways to play with it. Great writing and a fantastic cast add up to something very special."
The series is currently being filmed in Brussels and will air later this year.
Lawrence Sher has been named as director of the new Peter Dinklage movie 'O'Lucky Day'.
The 44-year-old cinematographer - known for his work on comedies 'The Dictator', 'Due Date' and 'The Hangover' trilogy - will take up the director's chair for the new Paramount project starring the 'Game Of Thrones' actor, according to Variety.
Although little is known about the plot of 'O' Lucky Day', the flick has previously been described as an "R-rated leprechaun comedy" with the story following Dinklage, as he attempts to pass himself off as one of the fairytale creatures.
Sher will add a sought after directing credit to his list of achievements, whilst Dinklage will also have a hand in producing the film.
Dinklage, 44, is also rumoured to be in contention for yet another starring role in the television adaptation of the sci-fi book series 'The Beasts Of Valhalla' by George C Chesbro, appearing as private eye Dr Robert Frederickson.
According to Empire, show writer Justin Monjo said: "HBO and Red Hour think [Dinklage] is perfect for the part and are very excited about the project."
John Logan is "excited" about 'Bond 24'.
The screenwriter claims he is "almost done" penning the script for the Sam Mendes-directed film and reassures the next instalment in the James Bond franchise won't disappoint.
Logan told Empire Magazine: "Right now the first draft is almost done I'm terrifically excited about it! I've been working very closely with Sam, and it's been joyous to pick up from our work on Skyfall and just continue on with the storytelling.
The new movie continues the themes of Skyfall. Some of the characters and themes that we began to introduce in Skyfall will play out, I hope successfully, in the next movie."
He added: "You ain't seen nothing yet."
Logan's comments come after Daniel Craig, signed up to star as the 007 secret service agent on two more films, but the 52-year-old screenwriter remained tight-lipped as to whether those films will involve a part one and part two.
He said: "I'm just trying to get one done first! If I survive this one, we'll see about the next one! [But I] couldn't comment!"
'Bond 24' is released in the UK on October 23, 2015, and in the US on November 6, 2015.
Dannii Minogue has a worm farm.
The Australian star decided to take up the unconventional hobby of vermicomposting when she realised the wriggly creatures were the only pets she could keep alive because of her busy schedule.
The singer-and-presenter has teamed up with eBay to handpick items from the global commerce site to create her own custom-made list of her favourite things, and she confessed to using their brand new features including Collections, Follow and eBay Today to browse items that will keep her beloved worms healthy and happy.
Speaking at the eBay launch in London today (06.03.14), Dannii joked: "You're exposing stuff that you're into that people don't know. I was telling Reggie [Yates] earlier that I have worms.
"I have a worm farm. Other pets I can't take care of because I'm travelling between London and Melbourne. But that's the kind of thing I have on there ... I've also got clothes and shoes, I've got homeware. I like to find vintage stuff."
Dannii - who has a three-year-old son, Ethan, with former partner Kris Smith - claims the new personalised shopping experience, which allows you to follow other people's Collections and suggests must-see lists, has revolutionised her life because she is usually too impatient to hit the shops.
The 'X Factor' Australia judge said: "I don't really like to shop. I have a short attention span. To make collections is kind of a window into other people's souls. Clothes shopping for me, I'm lucky enough where a stylist will come in with an edited rack and I'll go, great - I'll take that that and that home. It's somebody else's job."
Dannii was joined by Blur rocker and cheese-maker Alex James, interior designer Kelly Hoppen and TV presenter Reggie Yates at the launch event, and father-of-five Alex joked that all his Collections feature a heavy dose of wellington boots, waterproofs and wet wipes.
He quipped: "I was thinking of it as a garden, I keep adding new elements to it. It's quite compulsive. It's sort of a widow to your soul shopping, it tells people everything about you ...
"All my collections feature wet wipes! It has everything from a tent to an art book. "
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been engaged for "a couple of weeks".
The 'Two and a Half Men' actor - who was previously married to Demi Moore - and the 'Friends With Benefits' actress sparked speculation last week that they are planning to marry after the brunette beauty was pictured with a ring on her engagement finger, but friends of the couple admit Ashton actually popped the question some time ago, though they still haven't started planning their wedding.
The source said: "It won't necessarily be a short engagement. They haven't begun planning the wedding yet."
Ashton, 36, is said to have chosen a "simple" engagement ring for the 30-year-old beauty - who he has been friends with since they worked on 'That 70s Show' 16 years ago - and the low-key style reflects their union.
The source told People magazine: "It's a simple band with a round diamond. No baguettes, no insets. It's not ostentatious, like a Kim Kardashian ring. She doesn't need a security team with her to wear it. It's a lot like her and Ashton."
The couple - who haven't confirmed their engagement and have rarely spoken about their two-year relationship - spend most of their time together at sporting events or family affairs but they did attend a party in New York last month where they appeared casual, despite being very serious about one another.
The source added: "They weren't overtly lovey-dovey, but they kissed and you could tell he was proud of her, and she was happy he was there."
Hilary Duff's ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter wants her back.
The 26-year-old singer-and-actress - who announced she had separated from husband Mike Comrie after three years of marriage in January - dated the former pop star for 18 months when they were teenagers and he now says their split is one of his biggest regrets.
After retweeting a picture of his former girlfriend which was captioned: "Hilary Duff is flawless", Aaron then tweeted: "Don't be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever.. Like me..
"I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her.
I don't care what ANY of you think.(sic)"
And the 26-year-old star admitted laying bare his feelings had made him nervous.
He added: "That tweet just gave me an anxiety attack (sic)"
Aaron has previously spoken of his regret at cheating on Hilary with her then-best friend Lindsay Lohan.
He has said: "I started dating Hilary on my 13th birthday... I was dating her for like a year-and-a-half and then I just got a little bored so I went and I started getting to know Lindsay, dating Lindsay.
"Then I didn't want to do that anymore, so I got back with Hilary. And then I ended up cheating on Hilary with her best friend. That's nothing to smile about. She wasn't even that good looking either.
"She (Duff) really got her heart broken from me and I'm sorry for that."
WWE Superstar Fandango wants to be a contestant on 'Dancing with the Stars'.
The 32-year-old wrestler is a fan of the programme and if the opportunity arose to compete on the ballroom show he'd jump at the chance.
Fandango - who uses ballroom dance moves in the ring and is always accompanied by his 'dancing partner' Summer Rae - first got into the series when fellow WWE Superstar Chris Jericho competed on it in 2011.
When asked if he'd like to compete on the series, Fandango told BANG Showbiz: "I would like to give it a go, I just need the right partner - maybe a lingerie model!
"I've watched 'Dancing with the Stars', I watched when Chris Jericho was on it, I think it's cool. It's always cool to see the stars - whether they're a football player or an actor, an actress, a model, whatever - put into that situation of crunch training to try and win the show. How they deal with the pressures and their egos of not being really good at it is interesting to see."
Fandango and the other WWE Superstars are currently getting ready for their biggest event of the year 'WrestleMania XXX' - which can be watched from 1.00am on April 6 via Sky Box Office - and he admits the atmosphere in the locker room has changed as the show gets closer.
He said: "For the newer generation of guys, like The Shield, Big E Langston, Bray Wyatt and myself, it's our first or second year at 'WrestleMania' ... It's exciting to see the landscape change and see the newer guys become major players in major storylines.
"There are a lot of nerves for the younger generation, there are a lot of guys dieting and training hard but these are my favourite weeks of TV leading up to 'WrestleMania' because you never know how the landscape is going to alter or how the storylines are going to turn going into the big show."
Fandango and the WWE will be visiting the UK in May, information and tickets are available at Bookingsdirect.com.
