William and Catherine use Netmums for tips

Britain's Prince William and Duchess Catherine are fans of parenting website Netmums.
The royal couple, who has a seven-month-old son, Prince George, revealed they often pick up tips from the website, which has helped millions of new mums and dads to share their experiences.
William, 31, awarded the three businesswomen behind the site, Siobhan Freegard, Cathy Court and Sally Russell, with OBEs yesterday (04.03.14) who said they were "bowled over" by the royal's support for the online forum.
According to MailOnline, Sally, 46, said: "He said he and Kate used it and so did their friends.
"He said how much it's needed and how important it is. I talked to him about how isolated families feel these days and he gave me a knowing nod.
"I get the feeling that they're just normal parents who sit there Googling things like breast feeding issues just like the rest of us."
The founders, who met at a toddler group in Harrow, north west London, launched the website in 2000 and it has since become a huge success with 6.2 million unique users every month and 151 local sites serving areas across the UK.
Sally added: "Netmums has created a 'movement', giving mums a voice at a time in their lives when women often feel disempowered. Because of our work post natal depression is no longer a shameful secret but something parents talk about openly."

DJ Pete Tong handed MBE by Prince William

DJ Pete Tong was awarded an MBE for his services to music and broadcasting yesterday (04.03.14).
The Radio 1 star, who has also launched a record label and mobile disco, was handed the award by Britain's Prince William at Buckingham Palace after being named on the New Years Honours List.
The 53-year-old DJ and producer said: 'I've been standing here for a few hours waiting to do this and still have to pinch myself - I've spent my career doing something I love, playing records.
"There are so many worthy people here today, I feel quite humbled by all the servicemen, policemen and the charity workers and people like that. So I count myself lucky to be recognised in this way."
The star, who relocated to Los Angeles from the UK last year, also joked about his name being passed into the English language as rhyming slang for "wrong" with the phrase "it's all gone Pete Tong".
He said a fanzine first came up with it "as an affectionate slap around the head" but said, "it just stuck and turned into an amazing legacy. I've never had a problem with it."
The phrase was also the title of 2004 comedy film about DJ Frankie Wilde, played by Paul Kaye, who is big on the Ibiza club scene and realises he is becoming deaf.
According to the BBC, Pete added: "The movie obviously was great fun - why run away from something that's so catchy so I use it as my brand really when I do parties around the world."
Pete began his career at a Kent radio station and was given his own dance on Radio 1 in 1991, the Essential Selection, which has seen him become one of the world's most in-demand DJs.

Jared Leto’s quiet tours

Jared Leto insists his tours aren't filed with "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll."
The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman - who picked up the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in 'Dallas Buyers Club' on Sunday (02.03.14) - is preparing for a string of European shows with the band and insists their life on the road is "quiet and simple".
He told 'Access Hollywood': "When you're on tour, you learn quickly how to take care of yourself.
"Our tour bus is pretty quiet, pretty simple, filled with some vegan butter and almond milk. So it's not the sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll."
The 42-year-old star - who is joined in the group by his brother Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic - took his mother Constance as his date to the Oscars and she will also be going on tour with her sons.
Jared told Fuse News: "My mom, she's coming on the road."
30 Seconds to Mars will also embark on a US tour later this year with Linkin Park and AFI and Jared has promised the gigs will be extra special.
He said: "I assure you one thing -- the shows are gonna be something not to forget.
"They're gonna be wonderful. I mean, this is an opportunity like we've never had before. We're really proud to be part of it."

Shakira learns to ‘simplify’

Shakira's son has taught her to "simplify".
The 37-year-old singer - who has 15-month-old Milan with partner Gerard Pique - says the little boy's need for her attention mean she has had to be more focused in her work so she has more free time to be with him.
She said: "Well I think he's taught me, in general, he's taught me how to simplify because he requires me most of the time. So I have to kind of learn how to be a little more direct with my own work, with the way I tackle my work."
Shakira says she and Gerard are so similar, she is sometimes amazed that they are able to get on so well.
She told the new issue of Latina magazine: "We're very much alike. We're so similar. Our personalities are so similar we don't understand how we get along so well, being so similar. We're so compatible. We want the same things, we like the same things, we hate the same things. We're so passionate the same way, we need passion the same way."
The 'Can't Remember to Forget You' singer will release a self-titled album later this month after two years of working on it, and she always knew it would take a long time to complete.
She said: "I remember when I met my manager he said, 'We're going to do this album in two months.' And I started laughing and said, 'You don't know me Jay. This is going to be two years,' and that's exactly what it took."

Justin Timberlake sings for Jessica Biel

Justin Timberlake serenaded Jessica Biel at her birthday dinner on Monday (03.03.14).
The couple were joined at The Forge in Miami by the singer-and-actor's parents and the 'Social Network' star sang 'Happy Birthday' to his 32-year-old wife.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He sang a few lines of 'Happy Birthday'. But nothing over-the-top. They looked extremely happy and comfortable."
Jessica attended the Oscars alone on Sunday (02.03.14) because her husband was busy with his tour commitments, so Justin's grandma, Sadie Bomar, will be pleased he was able to celebrate his wife's birthday as she recently voiced her concerns that the couple - who married in 2012 - spend too much time apart.
She said: "They are married but they are so busy, both of them, it's hard going.
"I'm sure when it's right to have children they will, but not now.
"They do love each other dearly but they are apart so much it's going to be hard going for them.
"I think Jessica finds that really tough. She's on her own a good deal.
"If he's not coming back at night that puts a strain on things, of course it does.
"It's hard to keep it all going but you have to have faith to keep it all going.
"I have faith in them and I believe they love each other dearly but I know they need time together."

Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs to be stalked by Kirsty

Tyrone Dobbs will be stalked by Kirsty Soames in 'Coronation Street'.
The Weatherfield mechanic will come face-to-face with his violent ex-girlfriend upon finding out she has been freed from prison after falsely accusing him of domestic abuse.
Tyrone - played by Alan Halsall - adds extra locks to his house in a bid to protect himself and daughter Ruby, following a series of sinister text messages from Kirsty and even begs local builder Owen Armstrong (Ian Puleston-Davies) to help boost security.
He tells him: "I need some work doing urgently - new locks, bolts on the front and back door and a good burglar alarm.
"I've had a call - Kirsty's been released.
"No conditions no warnings, she can just turn up at any time, which is why I need this doing urgently."
Fiz Stape (Jenny McAlpine) takes matters into her own hands when she learns Kirsty, a former police officer, has been in touch with her boyfriend Tyrone, branding her a "twisted cow" in an angry phone call.
However, a return from actress Natalie Gumede may not be imminent, as a show insider claims the sinister text messages from Kirsty may be cruel hoax by a neighbour on the cobbles.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "It's true Kirsty has been released. But is she the one sending the texts, or is it someone else who's a little closer to home?"

Jim Davidson to relaunch Big Break?

Jim Davidson is in talks to relaunch his '90s game show 'Big Break'.
The 60-year-old comedian could be set to bring back the Saturday night snooker-themed series nearly 12 years after it first went off the air in 2002, but instead of returning to BBC One it could move to Channel 5 following his 'Celebrity Big Brother' victory in January.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Channel 5 are keen to work with me and build on the success of 'Big Brother'. We are discussing a couple of formats. The favourite is 'Big Break' and I'd be up for that."
Jim has also hinted that he'd like to continue his run on reality television with a stint in the 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' jungle.
Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote: "Think I'll go for the double and do the jungle! What d'yer think? (sic)"
The former 'Generation Game' host could follow in the footsteps of Westlife's Kian Egan and McFly's Dougie Poynter by being crowned King of the Jungle if he signs up to take part later this year.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "It seems Jim has got a taste for reality TV.
"Sitting around in a house is one thing but roughing it in the jungle is a different challenge.
"It would certainly be interesting to see how he copes and whether he could ruffle a few feathers in the camp."

Chris Gascoyne wants to star in a play

Chris Gascoyne wants to star in a play after leaving 'Coronation Street'.
The actor has decided to take time off from the ITV soap once his contract expires in August and he is keen to have exciting new acting "experiences" as well as enjoying a well-deserved break.
He told TV Times magazine: "I'd like to keep the character [of Peter Barlow] alive and have some experiences, because you need energy and a different mindset to get you through. When I came back in 2008, in my mind I'd only come back for a couple of years but I've done six - and it's a long old six years with not much of a break.
"I'd like to do a play because I've not done one for a long time and it's a different thing altogether - you can't stop and say, 'Can we do it again?' And I'd like to go to Plum Village, a Buddhist retreat in France. That's something I'll do for myself. A couple of weeks there would be nice."
Chris' final storyline will see things take a dramatic turn when Rovers Return barmaid Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) - who is having an affair with Peter behind his wife Carla's back (Alison King) - informs him she is pregnant.
The star explained: "It makes Peter realise how much he cares for her. He thinks he can just stop what's happened with Tina and carry on as normal - but life isn't that simple.
"It doesn't just end in tears - it's a lot worse than that. Tina is murdered and Peter is a suspect. It ends in the worst way you could imagine - for everyone concerned."

BBC Three to become online-only channel?

BBC Three could become an online-only channel.
The BBC is considering axing the youth-oriented digital channel - which airs programmes such as 'Snog Marry Avoid?' and 'Bad Education' - in a cost-cutting measure which would see it move to BBC's iPlayer service, reports Broadcast.
However, a spokesperson for the corporation insists "no decisions have been made", but "nothing is off the table".
Numerous stars including Matt Lucas, whose hit show 'Little Britain' began life on BBC Three before moving to BBC One, have lent their support to saving the digital channel.
Matt wrote on Twitter: "Hearing horrible rumours about the possible closure of BBC3. This would be really bad for new comedy. Like, REALLY bad. #SaveBBC3 (sic)"
Meanwhile, 'Bad Education' creator-and-star Jack Whitehall tweeted: "I really hope reports that the BBC may kill BBC3 are just rumours. There support of new comedy in particular is vital! #saveBBC3 (sic)"
Speculation about BBC Three's future began mounting after BBC director general Tony Hall announced the corporation would make £100 million in budget cuts.
He said last week: "We are in the final stages of a budget process to find an extra £100m of savings. I will announce the outcome of those decisions in the next month."
BBC Three first launched in 2003 and has spawned numerous hit shows such as 'Gavin and Stacey', 'Torchwood' and 'Being Human'.

R. Kelly next album named White Panties

R. Kelly is working on a sequel to his album 'Black Panties'.
The 'Ignition' hitmaker will name the record 'White Panties', following the success of his 2013 album, and has told fans to "expect a whole other level" when the new music is released.
Talking about the album name, he told V magazine: "I always follow what my spirit tells me to do. When I get into the studio I write from my heart. I try to write life and not songs.
"People live life, and when you write life, you're going to mess around touch somebody's heart, and they'll relate to you and what you're singing about."
The 47-year-old star is also collaborating with Mary J Blige on a song for the album and the singer will join him on tour to promote the record in coming months.
He gushed: "It's a very exciting thing when two people like Mary and me come together. It's never been done, but it kind of makes sense and you're like 'Wow!', and this is very exciting for me because I'm a fan of hers."
R. Kelly has already been in the studio working on their track and plans to approach the 'No More Drama' singer about recoding more material together.
He said: "I'm even looking forward to proposing that we do a whole album together. But this is the first I've mentioned it. The 'King and Queen' album."
