Prince George’s schedule for Australia trip

Britain's Prince William and Duchess Catherine plan to spend as much time as possible with their son Prince George during an upcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand.
The royal couple, who will take their seven-month-old son with them on the official visit next month, have tailored their schedule to meet his needs and will use a 'hub and spoke system'.
They plan to go backwards and forwards to bases in Sydney, Wellington and Canberra to spend time with their son for a few hours every day but two during the 19-day trip.
A senior royal aide told the Daily Express newspaper: "When you go from place to place you can work until late in the evening."
Catherine, 32, and William, 31, are also planning to take on a new nanny to help look after George, who will be nine months old when they visit Australia.
Miguel Head, William's private secretary, said: "Taking a nine month old on a royal tour is not a first, but it has not happened in this Royal Family's context for many, many years, so there has been much to think about - as any new parent travelling long distance will recognise."
The royals are hoping to introduce the young prince to the host nations during the trip, depending on his health and mood.
Catherine aims to take him to meet mothers and babies at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand, on April 9, and will take part in a similar visit in Australia.

Ellen DeGeneres ordered Oscars pizza

Ellen DeGeneres ordered pizzas for the Oscars audience.
The talk show host - who presided over the four-hour academy awards ceremony last night (02.03.14) - wanted to ensure the guests didn't go hungry, so had the tasty treats delivered from Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria, and admitted she had "lied" to the man who brought the order as he thought he would just be leaving them backstage.
Instead, celebrities including Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Chiwetel Ejiofor - who requested an entire box - Harrison Ford, Kerry Washington and Julia Roberts happily tucked into the pies, while Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey acted as the man's assistants, with the former passing out plates and napkins and the latter helping distribute the food.
'Wolf of Wall Street' star Leonardo DiCaprio declined to eat, and though Jared Leto - who picked up Best Supporting Actor - took a slice, he claimed it was for his mother, who was his date for the evening.
Ellen asked Sandra Bullock to pay a tip, but the 'Gravity' actress insisted she had no money, so the host called on movie mogul Harvey Weinstein instead.
She said: "Where's Harvey Weinstein? Harvey, no pressure - only a billion people are watching. Whatever you think is right."
The celebrities donated cash for a tip into Pharrell Williams' infamous hat, which was later passed around, and it is believed the lucky delivery man was given around $300 for his high-profile job at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Oscars selfie ‘breaks’ twitter

The star-studded Oscars audience "broke twitter" last night (02.03.14).
A 'selfie' picture organised by Academy Awards host Ellen DeGeneres, who handed her phone to Bradley Cooper to take the photo, became the most retweeted post ever on the social networking website, amassing over 1.1 million reposts in just half an hour.
As well as Ellen and Bradley, Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Lupita Nyong'o and her brother Peter all crammed into the photograph, much to the excitement of fans.
However, the website was then hit by technical difficulties which prevented further retweets, and Ellen told the audience at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre: "So this is true. We just crashed Twitter. We got an email from Twitter, and we crashed and broke Twitter. We have made history. See, Meryl, what we did? You and I? It's amazing, we really just made history. It's fantastic.
"It's back up again and it has the most retweets ever--and we're all winners tonight, that's what it means, that's what I was trying to say early on."
However, Ellen poked fun at 'American Hustle' star Bradley insisting they could have crammed even more stars into the photo if his body was different.
Posting the photo, she wrote: "If only Bradley's arm was longer. Best photo ever. #Oscar."
The 56-year-old star was a hit as Oscars host, goading the audience with gentle humour.
Early in the evening, she said: "I think you should think of yourselves as winners. Not all of you, but the people who've won before - you should think of yourselves as winners."
She later added: "Between all the nominees here tonight, you've done over 1400 films, 1400 films, and you've gone to a total of six years of college."

Susanna Reid to take break from BBC after split

Susanna Reid is taking a break from presenting 'BBC Breakfast' after news of her marriage break-up emerged.
The 43-year-old star, who has split from her husband Dominic Cotton, the father of her three children, Sam, 11, Finn, nine, and eight-year-old Jack, will not appear on the show this week.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She was on the rota to be on 'BBC Breakfast' this week but obviously that was drawn up before her love life became the talk of the town.
"Understandably she doesn't want to sit there on a live news programme grilling other stars about their lives while hers is a mess."
News of the couple's separation after 15 years together first came to light last week after Dominic, 46, posted a profile on a dating website, stating his relationship status as "recently separated".
His profile reads: "Underneath my blokeish exterior I am a sensitive soul. I enjoy sharing things and am someone who doesn't shy away from commitment. Life is for living with someone special."
Former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Susanna, who will be replaced by Louise Minchin during her break from work, has been splitting her time between London and Salford, Greater Manchester, where she films 'BBC Breakfast'.
She is expected to move to ITV to take over its morning show, 'Daybreak', which is set to be revamped under the title 'Good Morning Britain' with a rumoured salary of £500,000 a year.
The source added: "ITV are champing at the bit to announce her. They're desperate to just crack on with the relaunch."

Jared Leto takes mum to Oscar Awards

Jared Leto took his mother to the Oscar Awards last night (02.03.14).
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' - who has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift and Lupita Nyong'o recently - decided to take his mum Connie to the awards ceremony, held in Los Angeles, instead of a lover.
The 42-year-old actor uploaded a screenshot onto Instagram of him and his brother, Shannon, video messaging their mother.
He accompanied the cute snap with the caption: "My mothers face when @shannonleto and I told her she was coming to the #Oscars with us! (sic)".
This isn't the first time the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has taken his mum to an awards show as he took her to the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) in January and also dedicated his prize to her.
Jared - who was honoured as the Best Supporting Actor for his role as Rayon in the biopic - said at the SAG awards: "Last but not least, [thank you] to my mother, the hottest date in town. I just want to say, thank you for giving me such a shining and wonderful example of the possibilities of life. For showing me the power of dreams and being the best mother in the entire world. I love you."

Beyonce and Jay Z drink chicken bone cocktails

Beyonce and Jay Z enjoyed cocktails made from chicken bones on Friday (28.02.14).
The superstar couple wound down after performing together at Beyonce's sold-out concert at London's The O2 arena by visiting quirky pub White Lyan - known for not serving branded products - in trendy Hoxton, east London, where they sipped on unusual concoctions such as the Bone Martini.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "They weren't shy about trying something different. The oddest thing they drank was a cocktail made with chicken bones called the Bone Martini. We thought Beyonce would be more reserved when it comes to that kind of thing but she was loving it."
The 32-year-old star was clearly in the party mood after completing the first of six nights at The O2 and let her hair down with her entourage as well as Jay, 44, who had joined her on stage earlier in the night to perform their latest collaboration 'Drunk in Love'.
A source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Beyonce had a go at making some cocktails and danced the night away with hubby Jay and one of her stylists and some others."
After a night of drinking, the couple - who have a two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy - opted for a quick snack as they visited one of Brick Lane's famous bagel shops.
Beyonce's late night bagel binge comes a week after she treated her entourage to £700 worth of McDonald's fast food following her concert in Manchester.

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson earning most money

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson earn more money than their One Direction bandmates.
The 'Story of My Life' quintet are estimated to be worth over £100 million altogether but as Liam and Louis write many of their songs - with writers typically earning nine per cent of each track's royalties - it's been suggested that they're making more money than their bandmates, and Liam has admitted they're working on even more material.
Liam said: "Louis and I have a little partnership going on. We've been pretty keen to start writing straight away."
The 20-year-old star also revealed that he's focusing on writing music so that he can maintain a career in the music industry.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I've been in the studio already, it's been going really well. Learning how to write is the best way of ensuring your career has longevity and that you have control over it."
Liam, Louis and their bandmates - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan - have already released three albums since coming in third place on the 'X Factor' in 2010 but Liam says their next could be their best yet.
He added: "I really think the next album is going to be a game-changer for us. I'm excited."

Lupita Nyong’o and Cate Blanchett among Oscar winners

Lupita Nyong'o, Cate Blanchett, Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto were among the winners at the Oscars last night (02.03.14).
'Gravity' cleaned the board with seven awards, while '12 Years a Slave' won Best Picture at the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Lupita picked up the gong for Best Supporting Actress for '12 Years a Slave', while Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for her role in 'Blue Jasmine' and Matthew and Jared took home the Oscar statues for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively for their roles in 'Dallas Buyer's Club'.
Jared couldn't believe his luck when he picked up his award and he later handed it to journalists in the press room for them to take photographs with it.
Meanwhile, director of '12 Years a Slave', Steve McQueen, praised his mother Mary for her "hardheadedness" and insisted the film was about the will "not just to survive but to live", while producer Brad Pitt thanked the Academy for the "incredible" award.
Elsewhere, Disney's 'Frozen' picked up the award for Best Animated Feature, while its soundtrack 'Let It Go' won Best Original Song. 'The Great Gatsby', starring Leonardo DiCaprio, also won two prizes at the 86th Academy Awards for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

Terry Alderton: Wife made me do EastEnders

Terry Alderton's mother and wife convinced him to join 'EastEnders'.
The actor recently joined the soap as Bianca Butcher's new love interest, cab driver Terry Spraggan, and he admits it took some encouragement from his family to accept the part.
He said: "I wouldn't be here if my wife and my mum hadn't twisted my arm. Mum is a massive fan and only now that I'm in 'EastEnders' does she think I've really cracked it - and I'd thought I already had with 25 years in comedy!"
Terry says his role as the affable cab driver has been life-changing and he is now stopped in the street by fans for autographs and pictures.
He revealed: "No one could have prepared me for the attention you get, it's crazy. I wear glasses in real life, so I've bought thick ones and always wear a hat. But people still recognise me. I'm someone who didn't want to be famous."
However, not all of the attention has been positive as the actor-and-comedian often gets sent abusive messages on Twitter.
Terry told Inside Soap magazine: "I get a lot of nice tweets but I get a lot of trolls - and I love the trolls! My agent and I meet up and spend our time finding all the worst stuff written about me, and then I start following those people. They must think, 'Why is he following me?' But I love it. That's my twisted sense of humour."

Sam Faiers’ Crohn’s fertility fears

Sam Faiers was concerned that Crohn's disease would affect her fertility when she was first diagnosed.
'The Only Way Is Essex' beauty learnt she had the inflammatory bowel disease earlier this month, after experiencing severe pains while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house in January, and she became concerned that this would effect the chances of her having children.
Quizzed on her biggest fear, she said: "Whether it would affect my fertility. Googling that was pretty much the first thing I did. I want kids and having Crohn's isn't a problem, thank goodness."
Sam admits it has been a wake up call and although she sometimes had concerns about her weight the most important thing is her health.
She added to Now magazine: "Its made me think a lot about things. I remember worrying if I went from a size 10 to 12, being bothered if I looked too big. I actually worked really hard with a trainer doing weights and 60 squats a day to get in shape for 'Celebrity Big Brother'. And then I lost a stone and a half. All I wanted was my curves back. My bum has completely disappeared.
"I'm going to get [sister] Billie [Faiers] to get me some of those padded knickers.
"We spend all of our time wanting to lose weight but life's about being healthy."

Gravity wins most Oscars

'Gravity' scooped the most Oscars at tonight's Academy Awards (02.03.14).
The sci-fi film won seven trophies, for Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Score, Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and rounded its haul off with Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón named Best Director.
Accepting his award, he said: "Making a film can be a transformative experience. I want to thank 'Gravity' because for many of us involved in this film, it was definitely a transformative experience ...What really sucks is that for a lot of these people that transformation was in their wisdom, for me it was [also] the colour of my hair."
The director also thanked the film's stars and stressed how many of the people who had been involved behind the scenes are the ones responsible for its huge success.
He added: "I want to share this with all the wise people who made this happen. My amazing son and co-writer, Jonás Cuarón, Sandra Bullock, Sandy, you are 'Gravity', you are the soul and heard of the film, the most gifted collaborator, and one of the most amazing people I've ever met ... George Clooney for your absolutely trust ... the wise people at Warner Brothers."
Alfonso also praise a number of his collaborators in a short speech in his native Spanish.
