Halle Berry juggling motherhood and work

Halle Berry is "juggling working and being a mom".
The 47-year-old actress gave birth to her second child, son Maceo, with husband Oliver Martinez last October and she's getting used to caring for her young one as well as her job acting in TV show 'Extant'.
She told People.com: "You know, I'm working on a television show now, so I'm juggling working and being a mom and breast feeding while I'm working.
"It's a whole new life for me now all over again, having a new little baby again."
Halle - who is also mother to Nahla, five, with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry - also said she has been "working hard" to lose her baby weight and chose a specific dress to suit her figure as she attended an Oscars party in Hollywood over the weekend.
She added: "This is vintage Versace. It's one of Gianni's last pieces. I never go wrong with Versace. I love Versace. And you know, I'm not quite where I want to be with my body, so this was a great dress for me to wear tonight."
Halle also added motherhood is "fantastic" but she's not planning on any more children.
She said: "I'm surprised I had the one I just had! So I doubt God is going to bless me again. I think I'm done!"

Justin Bieber calls Selena Gomez a ‘princess’

Justin Bieber has called Selena Gomez the "most elegant princess in the world".
The bad boy 'Confident' singer posted a picture on his Instagram account of Selena - his ex-girlfriend - in her elegant Emilio Pucci dress for the Vanity Fair party following last night's (02.03.14) Oscars in Hollywood, with the short caption underneath.
Justin's move sparks speculation he could be trying to win Selena back for a third time.
The couple were first linked in 2010 but split in January 2013, only to get back together again briefly at the beginning of this year.
Selena has credited their initial split with helping to turn her career around, saying: "I turned 20, went through a really bad breakup, and realised I needed to pick up everything ... I was tired of feeling defeated."
However, once she got back with Justin, things didn't go smoothly and they soon split again, with Selena heading to rehab at The Meadows clinic in Arizona and Justin taking model Chantel Jeffries on holiday with him to Panama and Miami.
Justin, 20, has recently found himself in a number of legal troubles due to his behaviour in the US and his native Canada, and his uncle, Brad Bieber, thinks his actions are down to him missing Selena.
He said: "How would you feel if your first love didn't work out? How would you feel if that relationship went sour and then it became public and you had no chance to heal or sort out your own emotions and feelings? He is just a brokenhearted, lost little boy."

Ellen DeGeneres didn’t get much sleep after Oscars

Ellen DeGeneres didn't get a lot of sleep after the Oscars last night (02.03.14).
The talk show star hosted the prestigious Hollywood event live until late last night, then let her hair down by partying afterward, leaving her feeling worse for wear this morning.
She wrote on Twitter after the show: "Thanks for watching and tweeting! Now I need to meet with my friend, Margarita. See you tomorrow for my live show! #Oscars"
Today (03.03.14) she followed up with a tweet saying: "Gopd mrorining! It'sd time to do a live OSxar show. Didn't get much slep but whoneds it? (sic)"
Ellen then posted a picture of her holding cold cans of fizzy drink under her eyes, with another caption reading: "Getting ready for my live show. #Tired (sic)"
Ellen's hosting was well received and her jokes with the audience and actions including ordering pizza halfway through went down well.
However, her most successful move of the night was to hand her phone to Bradley Cooper to take a multi-celebrity 'selfie' picture and post it on Twitter, which quickly went on to become the most successful tweet in history, gaining over two million retweets by this morning.
As well as Ellen and Bradley, Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o and her brother Peter all crammed into the photograph and its popularity resulted in technical difficulties for Twitter.
Ellen later told the audience at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre: "So this is true. We just crashed Twitter. We got an email from Twitter, and we crashed and broke Twitter. We have made history. See, Meryl, what we did? You and I? It's amazing, we really just made history. It's fantastic."

Sarah Ferguson has jam roly-poly tea

Sarah Ferguson has her own especially made jam roly-poly flavoured tea.
Britain's Duchess of York has recently lost more than 28lbs at a boot camp on a Swiss mountain resort, but went to an expert tea-maker for help when she struggled to stay away from sweet treats such as biscuits and cakes.
Among the teas they developed together were flavours based on English desserts including jam roly-poly, rhubarb fool, strawberries and cream, Bakewell tart, chocolate torte, and mint humbug.
Two further ranges have also been developed, including 'mocktail' teas tasting of pink champagne, gin and tonic, whisky and ginger, and pina colada and a batch tackling classics such as English Breakfast and Earl Grey.
A friend says Sarah - who is said to have lost a further 14lbs by replacing sweet foods with tea - may capitalise on them.
The source told MailOnline.com: "At the moment the teas are just for her but she has had so much interest in them that she is considering whether to market them.
"There are a number of commercial opportunities she is exploring but nothing has been signed yet."
Sarah's Swiss bootcamp took 12 weeks and saw her undertake daily mountain runs and hikes with her trainer, Josh Saltzmann, as well as eating a calorie-controlled diet.

Charlize Theron’s outfit impressed son

Charlize Theron was delighted her son thought she looked "pretty" at the Oscars last night (02.03.14).
The 38-year-old actress' little boy Jackson, two, watched her get ready for the Academy Awards and was very impressed by her black Dior gown and 31-carat diamond necklace.
Speaking at the Fame & Philanthropy Post Oscar party, she told People: "I got my first 'mama pretty' tonight, so it was a slam-dunk for me. I'm very happy right now. [Motherhood is] really good."
Charlize was accompanied to the post-ceremony party by her boyfriend Sean Penn, 53, where they were reportedly spotted holding hands and sitting "very close" in the VIP area.
On Thursday (27.02.14), the couple attended Pharrell Williams' pre-Oscars party at Eveleigh in Los Angeles and couldn't hide their affection for one another.
An onlooker said:"Watching Charlize and Sean get down! Both so hot. Charlize and Sean are so gorgeous together, a natural couple."
The 'Young Adult' star was seen resting her head on the 'Milk' actor's shoulder, and they also joined in with dancing to tracks from Pharrell's new album 'G I R L'.

Matthew McConaughey wants award to inspire kids

Matthew McConaughey hopes his Oscar win will inspire his children.
The 44-year-old actor - who has children Levi, five, Vida, three, and Livingston, 14 months, with wife Camila Alves - picked up the Best Actor prize for 'Dallas Buyers Club' last night (02.03.14) and wants it to teach his kids they can achieve their dreams if they work hard.
He said: "The lesson that they'll hopefully kind of get is that whatever you're going to do, if you put your head down and do it as well as you can right now, sometimes a little reward comes your way later in life."
Matthew revealed his kids would have seen his win as they were tuning in at home.
He said: "My family is very obviously important to me as anybody's family is. My kids are at home, they're watching Pappy and we told them, 'What is tonight about?' They said, 'Pappy is up for an award with four other men that they're deeming excellent work in what I do'.
"I think they understand that Dad did good tonight."
Though the 'Wolf of Wall Street' actor was thrilled by his win and is thankful for his achievements, both personally and professionally, he insists he has more to do.
He told 'Access Hollywood': "I've got so much in my life to be thankful for and there's still so much more to do. There's so much to be thankful for and I find the more that I can be thankful for the things that I do have, the more I nurture those things, the better they grow."

Oscar Pistorius pleads not guilty to murder

Oscar Pistorius has pleaded not guilty to murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The South African athlete, who is accused of shooting the model at his home in Pretoria on 14 February 2013, insisted he was not guilty of "wilful and intentional murder" as his highly-mediatised trial began today (03.03.14).
His lawyer read out a statement from the 27-year-old athlete, describing how he mistook her for an intruder and allegedly believed Reeva was in bed when he shot at the toilet door in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year.
Meanwhile, state prosecutors claim the killing was premeditated and called upon the first witness, Oscar's neighbour Michelle Burger.
The woman, who has requested that her testimony not be televised, alleged she awoke hearing a woman's screams and heard a call for help.
The double amputee, who won gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, displayed a poker face as he appeared in court earlier today, where he was supported by his uncle, brother and sister, according to the BBC.
Oscar released a statement on the anniversary of the incident saying: "The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life."
He could face life behind bars if he is found guilty of premeditated murder by Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa. The trial continues.

EastEnders’ Nick Cotton to be killed off

'EastEnders' character Nick Cotton will be killed off.
The Walford bad boy is set to meet his maker in an off-screen death that will usher in the arrival of his son Charlie Cotton, played by theatre actor Declan Bennett.
Soap stalwart Dot Branning (June Brown) will receive a visit from police officers later this month, who break the tragic news to her that Nick - played by John Altman - has died.
The nefarious character was last seen in the BBC One soap in 2009 when he set fire to the café.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "It's the call that Dot always knew she would get one day - that Nick is dead. But when it comes she's still devastated. Nick has put her through so much over the years. He really is the soap's original villain."
Charlie will then arrive in Albert Square, much to the shock of his grandmother Dot, who has no idea he exists.
The introduction of Nick's son will leave Dot and other Walford residents wondering whether the newcomer is trustworthy or as villainous as his father.
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins is quoted by RadioTimes.com as saying: "With Dot feeling increasingly alone in the world, Charlie's surprise appearance means that she finally has some blood whom she can trust. But should she?"

Molly Smitten-Downes tipped for Eurovision

Molly Smitten-Downes is being tipped to represent Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The little-known singer is heavily rumoured to be announced as this year's entrant in the annual singing competition after being discovered through BBC Introducing, an initiative to discover unsigned music talent.
The 26-year-old songstress was named on social media last night (02.03.14) by people who attended a music video shoot in London. Her Eurovision song is reportedly named 'Children of the Universe'.
Eurovision producers opted to find a talented unsigned act to represent Britain this year through the BBC Introducing programme. Molly came to the attention of talent scouts when she submitted her song 'Strange Alien' to the BBC last year.
The decision comes after well-known artists such as Bonnie Tyler - who came in 19th place last year - and Engelbert Humperdinck failed to win votes in previous years.
BBC's Eurovision producer Guy Freeman recently revealed this year's song will be tailored for the contest.
He said: "We took the view that we needed a bespoke, contemporary song, written specifically to suit the conditions of the competition - rather than trying to get lucky with a pre-existing track from an artist."
He added of the finished song: "The end result is that we now have a powerful and impressive song that we hope will do us proud in Copenhagen."
This year's Eurovision entrant and song will be unveiled through the BBC Red Button service tonight (03.03.14) at 7.30pm.
The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Denmark on May 10.

BBC orders third series of Wizards vs Aliens

The BBC has ordered a third series of 'Wizards vs Aliens'.
The CBBC sci-fi show - which was created by former 'Doctor Who' executive producer Russell T. Davies - has been commissioned for a brand new series to begin airing later this year.
The action-packed show follows young wizard Tom Clarke (Scott Haran) and his pal Benny Sherwood (Percelle Ascott) as they battle the villainous Nekross, who threaten to destroy the universe and all of wizardkind in their pursuit of magic.
Cheryl Taylor, BBC's controller of CBBC, said: "CBBC is the home of thrilling and inspiring drama for children and 'Wizards vs Aliens' is a perfect example of that. The series is vivid and brave and our audience loves the portrayal of loyal friendship alongside exciting alien battles and stunning wizardry.
"Children want to talk about Tom, Benny and the Nekross and we know they'll be delighted to hear a third series is being conjured up by the talented team in Wales."
The latest series will see Tom and Benny encounter a new alien race and lots of exciting new magical creatures.
Production on the third series of 'Wizards vs Aliens' will begin next month, and the series will air across 2014 and 2015.

Bastille’s second album to have hip-hop sound

Bastille's second album will have more of a hip-hop sound.
The band shot to fame with their hit single 'Pompeii' last year and continued to impress with their debut album 'Bad Blood', but frontman Dan Smith claims the follow up to their first album will sound very different due to collaborations with hip-hop artists such as Angel Haze - who they've teamed up with on new track 'Weapons'.
He said: "We are touring with Angel Haze and we have recorded some stuff together too. Maybe it's not the most obvious fit but she's an intelligent rapper with insightful lyrics."
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter claims the change in sound will reflect the kind of music he and his bandmates - Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson and Chris "Woody" Wood - like to listen to and who they are influenced by.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "The second album will be much clearer as to what our influences are. If more drastically all over the place, in a good way.
"I still sneak off and sing into my phone but we are writing more collaboratively at sound checks too this time."
Dan also admitted that despite winning the Best British Breakthrough Act award at the BRITs last month, they still haven't come to terms with their success, and he says they're nervous about their homecoming show at London's Alexandra Palace on Thursday (06.03.14).
He added: "We never imagined we'd get to play Ally Pally, as someone who has grown up in London and seen bands like Sigur Ros there - it's nuts."
