David Beckham wants to buy his own taxi.
The retired soccer star - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine, and two-year-old Harper with wife Victoria - has been shopping for an iconic London black cab as he hopes the vehicle would help him blend in amongst other motorists.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "David reckons having a London taxi will help him sneak around incognito.
"Being one of the most recognisable faces on the planet means it's sometimes hard for him to do his normal day-to-day errands.
"He loves his fans, and always tries to make time for them, but sometimes he just wants to nip out to the shop like a normal person.
"People usually spot his flash cars a mile off, so he thinks a low key taxi would be the perfect disguise in London.
"Plus if he's running late, he could use taxi lanes and get away with it!"
David is no stranger to coming up with clever ways to go undetected in public.
Last October, the 38-year-old hunk attended a Halloween party in New York without a costume, but when asked who he was dressed up as, just said himself - and was complimented on his convincing disguise.

Somebody asked him, 'What's your costume?' He said, 'I'm going as David Beckham,' and the person replied, 'Wow, you look just like him!' ''
Beyoncé's handmade tour outfit was stopped by customs.
The 'XO' hitmaker is set to kick off the European leg of her 'Mrs Carter World Tour' in Portugal tomorrow (26.03.14), but there was a frantic panic a few days ago when her one-legged jumpsuit, which she'll wear on the opening night, was refused entry by the EU authorities.
The attire, made from silver cobra, was designed by Rubin Singer, who uses rare skins from Europe and Asia and moulds them into stunning fashion pieces.
However, the 32-year-old singer's stylists sorted out the paperwork with customs and the outfit arrived just in time for her glamorous show tomorrow night, according to the New York Post newspaper.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty has just finished her UK and Ireland leg of the tour, which saw her intersperse old favourites such as 'Crazy in Love' and 'Single Ladies' with tracks from her fifth studio album, 'BEYONCE', which she released with no forewarning in December.
Beyoncé ended her concerts with the uplifting 'Halo' and a cover of 'I Will Always Love You'.
However, the final act also included the poignant new ballad 'Heaven', in which the star sings of the death of a loved one.

Speaking to the new issue of Britain's OK! magazine, Kimberley said: "We won't find out the sex - it's one of those amazing surprises in life that you can't buy.

Someone woke me up like 'D'ya want to get changed to go to the party now', I was like 'I kinda just want to stay here.' So I just ate pizza and fell asleep."
Emma - who was catapulted to the spotlight in the 'Harry Potter' films as Hermione Granger - presented the Best Visual Effects Award to the 'Gravity' team alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the Academy Awards, and although she was initially excited, after releasing how many people would be watching the show her nerves began to creep in.
Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', she said: "[It was my] first time at the Oscars, it was very exciting. I thought the show was amazing. I was doing fine actually, I wasn't that nervous at all. Joseph was holding my arm before we were meant to go out and I was like 'You know what, I feel so grateful to be here and this is amazing, I actually feel really calm.' He was like 'Yeah, this is fine and this a great experience and only like a few billion people will be watching us in two minutes.' I was fine [gasps] and was fine, and now I feel so un-fine, so thanks Joseph for that."

A source told Radar Online: "Kanye is producing some tracks for her and he's quite involved. He believes she could be the next Rihanna. [He] thinks she's young, fresh and hip - totally his target audience.
"He's been consulting her on a lot of his creative projects, including the Kanye x APC collection."
Pia - who is best friends with Kylie Jenner - first stepped into the spotlight last year when a video of her singing Drake's 'Hold On We're Going Home' in front of the Canadian rapper and Kanye at a dinner party hosted by Kylie's family, including Kanye's fiancee Kim Kardashian, went viral on the internet.
It's claimed Pia - who signed a deal with Interscope Records in February - is also becoming Kanye's most trusted adviser, which is rumoured to have annoyed Kim.

And one cameo, featuring Liam Neeson, is likely to be a hit as even paparazzi watching filming in Los Angeles couldn't hide their laughter.
Jeremy said: "I had a moment with Liam Neeson, I pull up in a very under-the-radar red Ferrari, and he's in a Bentley and I hear like a laugh track but
I look out of the corner of my eye and the paparazzi are laughing.
"The fact that they've let their cameras down for even a second to laugh means we're onto something."

The brunette beauty said: "[Mom] would always wear really tight - she was into Vicky Tiel, Moschino, or Chanel - with huge Moschino heart earrings. She had an amazing body and was always so in shape.
"One time Kourtney and I sat in my mom's closet - we must've been eight or nine - and we were like, 'If Mom dies, we're going to write down who gets what.' We went through every last piece of her wardrobe. We were so mean then!"
