Sir Mick Jagger pays tribute to L’Wren Scott

Sir Mick Jagger and some of his close friends, including Dave Stewart, paid tribute to L'Wren Scott at her funeral.
The Rolling Stones rocker, 70, was supported by his children, Karis, 43, Jade, 42, Elizabeth, 30, Georgia May, 22, James, 28, and Gabriel, 16, at the private service at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Tuesday (25.03.14).
Mick spoke about his love for his girlfriend of 13 years and shared memories of their time together at the "intimate" and sombre service, which was led by Revered Ed Bacon from the All Saints Church in Pasadena, California, according to PEOPLE.com.
Eurythmics guitarist Dave later accompanied Bernard Fowler, a backup singer that has appeared on more than 30 albums with The Rolling Stones, as he performed the song 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken,' while Karis read a poem and Jade read Psalm 139.
Other speakers included L'Wren's brother Randall Bambrough, and her close friends, including talent agent Justinian Kfoury, costume designer Ira M. Hammons-Glass and creative director Adam Glassman.
Mick's grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read Psalms, and the late fashion designer's niece Hannah Bambrough read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?' during the service, which was attended by 60 of the 49-year-old star's close friends and family members.
A source previously revealed that security was extremely tight at the cemetery, explaining: "All the cars entering are getting checked by security and the trunks are being searched. The main gates are closed and only certain cars are being allowed onto the premises."
LA is a special place for Mick and L'Wren as they first met there when she was hired to style him for a photo-shoot in 2001.
The singer, who was on tour in Australia when L'Wren committed suicide in her apartment in New York City on March 17, released the following statement last week: "I'm still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. I will never forget her."

Kourtney Kardashian wants more kids?

Kourtney Kardashian isn't sure if she wants more children.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star has son Mason, four, and 19-month-old daughter Penelope with her long-time boyfriend Scott Disick, and although that it makes her "sad" when they grow out of their clothes, she admits it can be a "challenge" to find time for romance.
Asked if she plans to expand her family in the future, the 34-year-old beauty told UsMagazine.com: "I mean, I don't know, I'm so busy right now...I always feel like it's in God's hands, so we'll see, but I love tiny clothes. They're the cutest things in the world and it does make me sad when they get bigger."
Kourtney prides herself in being a very hands-on mother and still shares her bed with her children, as she believes in the somewhat controversial attachment-parenting philosophy.
She explained: "I mean, I have no idea where it came from because I definitely didn't sleep with my parents unless I was sick or something. I don't know, it just kind of grew. I wasn't reading attachment-parenting books before; it's just what came naturally to me. I think even with different kids, it's different. Each kid needs something different. I'm sure all the family thinks I'm insane for having them in the bed and breastfeeding for a long time, but whatever."
She also told the April issue of Redbook magazine: "It's what came naturally to me; I didn't plan it. When I had Mason, I just felt really attached to him and wanted to bring him everywhere. He ended up sleeping with me, and I breastfed for 14 months."
She added: "They go to sleep in their rooms but end up in my bed, sometimes within minutes."
But Kourtney confessed it is a "challenge" for her and Scott to find time to spend alone together.
She said: "It's...something we talk about constantly. Mostly there are times each night when the kids are in their own rooms, and sometimes it even lasts all night. Every night is different."

P. Diddy returns to being Puff Daddy

P. Diddy wants to be known as Puff Daddy again.
The rap mogul - real name Sean Combs - announced in 2001 that he had changed his stage name to P. Diddy, but started using the moniker he was best known by in the late '90s again this week, as he took to Twitter to share a teaser for his upcoming video 'Big Homie,' in which he introduces himself as Puff Daddy.
The 44-year-old star, who is gearing up to release his first album in four years, titled 'MMM,' this year, hit back at fans for criticising him for making another name change and insisted he's simply going back to the name he has "always used".
Addressing the issue on Monday (24.03.14), the record producer tweeted: "For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! 🙂 Be cool Man lol #MMM #BigHomie RT!!!! (sic)"
He later asked: "#DIDDYORDADDY ???"
The rapper, who is also sometimes referred to by friends as Puff or Puffy, decided to change his name 13 years ago after he was acquitted on gun-possession and bribery charges in New York City.
He told MTV News at the time: "No more Puff Daddy. The first week in June we're gonna have a name change ceremony ... I'm not doing it as serious as Prince [but] I just want something fresh ... I'm rockin' with P. Diddy now -- my man Biggie gave me that name."
He briefly shortened it to simply 'Diddy' in 2005, claiming his fans didn't know how to address him, but was forced to go back to using P. Diddy after London DJ Richard Dearlove, who had been performing under the name Diddy since 1992, sued him.

Patrick Dempsey’s mother dies from ovarian cancer

Patrick Dempsey is mourning the death of his mother.
The 'Grey's Anatomy' star was by Amanda Dempsey's side when she passed away on Monday (24.03.14), following a long battle with ovarian cancer, according to PEOPLE.com.
The 48-year-old actor was inspired by his mother, who fought multiple occurrences of the disease since 1997, and partnered with her treatment facility, the Central Maine Medical Centre to found The Patrick Dempsey Centre for Cancer Hope & Healing in his native Lewiston, Maine with his sisters, Mary and Alicia, in 2008.
He said at the time: "For a family to get a cancer diagnosis is devastating, and all the information out there can be overwhelming. I talked to my sister[s] about a place where people could go for all this type of information and help. Knowledge is power."
The centre "provides free cancer support, education and integrative medicine services to anyone impacted by cancer, regardless of where treatment is received" and has raised more than $5 million to date.
Peter Chalke, President and CEO of Central Maine Healthcare, said in a press release: "The entire Central Maine Medical family mourns the passing of Amanda Dempsey.
"Amanda Dempsey was both a great lady and a determined fighter who displayed tremendous courage, class and grace during her long battle with cancer ... We will miss Amanda deeply, but we were all blessed by knowing her and being inspired by her life story."

Taylor Swift’s restraining order extended

Taylor Swift's stalker has been ordered to stay away from her for the next three years.
The 24-year-old singer's temporary restraining order against Timothy Sweet was extended at a hearing in Los Angeles on Tuesday (25.03.14), during which a judge informed him he must stay 100 yards away from the star and also forbid him from going near her parents, Andrea and Scott.
The 'Red' hitmaker claimed that Timothy, 33, had been stalking her since 2011, sending dozens of emails, letters and writing social media posts declaring his love for her.
He also allegedly threatened to "kill any man," including US Secretary of State John Kerry, who came between him and Taylor, as he reportedly believes he's married to the singer, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
In one message to the blonde beauty, Mr. Sweet wrote: "If anyone in Taylor's family get killed it is not my fault.
"My wife Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverley Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life. (sic)."
He went on: "Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR presidential candidate (sic)."
The singer first filed a request for a temporary protection order against Timothy at LA's Superior Court earlier this month and stated in court documents that his behaviour was "seriously alarming and harassing" and the constant messages and phone calls were "extremely distressing to me and my family."
She added that she did "not have desire to interact with or communicate in any way with Mr. Sweet."

Ashton Kutcher seeks parenting advice

Ashton Kutcher has started asking his friends for parenting advice.
The 'Two and a Half Men' star is "excited" that his fiancée Mila Kunis is pregnant with their first child and has already turned to their former 'That 70s Show' co-star Danny Masterson, who welcomed his daughter Fianna with wife Bijou Phillips last month, for tips about fatherhood.
A source close to the couple told UsMagazine.com: "He asked Danny how it felt to be a dad, if he felt ready. They've been talking about play dates!"
The duo, whose engagement was quietly confirmed last month, can't wait for their baby to arrive later this year.
The insider said: "They are happy, healthy and excited to start a family."
Ashton isn't the only one gearing up for the tot's arrival, as 'Black Swan' star Mila, 30, "is all about being a mother."
A friend recently claimed the couple are planning to get married in a Los Angeles registry office as early as next month.
But the first source insisted they are planning to wait until after the birth, adding: "There is no rush to get married. The wedding will be very intimate and private."
Ashton, 36, began dating the brunette beauty in 2012, following his split from his first wife Demi Moore, but they have known each other since Mila was 14.

Mark Wahlberg wants to gain 15 pounds

Mark Wahlberg is 15 pounds away from his goal weight.
The 42-year-old actor shrunk to 137 lbs. after dropping more than 60 lbs. for his recent role in the upcoming film 'The Gambler,' leaving him almost unrecognisable, but is almost back to his comfortable weight.
The 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' star told PEOPLE.com at CinemaCon in Las Vegas: "It's a lot easier to put it on than it is to lose it."
Mark regularly bulks up and slims down for acting roles, but seeks advice from experts to make sure he is doing everything as healthily as possible.
He explained: "It's just part of the job. I make sure I take all the right steps, take all the right nutrition, all the right exercise, being monitored by doctors. I'm trying to do it in the safest way possible."
The actor, who previously admitted he craved donuts and cut out bread, pasta and wine while on his strict diet, is still trying to gain more weight.
He said: "I want a little bit more. I like to walk around at 190 ... I like to eat though."
Meanwhile, Mark, who has children Ella, 10, Michael, seven, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife Rhea Durham, admitted his family influenced his decision to join the cast of 'Transformers.'
He said: "I haven't really done anything that was kid friendly. That's not the only reason. I don't make decisions that way. It was really the best of both worlds, because it was something they'd be interested in and something I hadn't done before."

L’Wren Scott’s friends and family gather for funeral

Sir Mick Jagger was reportedly joined by 60 of L'Wren Scott's close friends and family members at her funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (25.03.14).
Security was extremely tight as the "intimate" service got underway at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery at 10am, following the 49-year-old fashion designer's suicide inside her luxury apartment in Manhattan, New York City on March 17.
Shortly beforehand, a source told HollywoodLife.com: "L'Wren's funeral services are taking place this morning at the famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery. All the cars entering are getting checked by security and the trunks are being searched. The main gates are closed and only certain cars are being allowed onto the premises. The services are set to begin at 10am.
"Security is super tight at L'Wren's services. About sixty to seventy guests are expected."
A select group of family and friends were invited to bid a final farewell to the former model, according to the New York Daily News.
An insider added: "It will be an intimate service for close family and friends to pay their respects to L'Wren."
Another source also confirmed to The Sun newspaper: "L'Wren's funeral is today. Everything is in place for people to say their goodbyes."
The Rolling Stones singer, Mick, 70, who has been staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills with family since flying to LA from Australia after learning about his girlfriend's death, reportedly organised the funeral with his partner of 13 years' brother, Randall Bambrough.
But L'Wren's sister, Jan Shane, is furious she won't be buried alongside their parents in Utah, where they grew up, and angry with Randall for not consulting her about the arrangements.
She recently said: "I have been frozen out of my own sister's funeral. [My brother] Randy won't talk to me or call me about the arrangements, or my hopes that L'Wren be buried beside mom and dad. I am very angry about this and I cannot get answers from anybody and now I have given up expecting to hear from Mick or anyone".
Jan used to be close to L'Wren - who was originally named Luann after being adopted as a baby by Ivan and Lula Bambrough - but had been estranged from her sister for six years.

Ashley Roberts alarmed by foot fetishist fan

Ashley Roberts was once asked to send a foot fetishist fan a pair of her socks.
The singer was stunned when an eager guy tried to seduce her over Twitter by asking her to post him a pair of her favourite socks, and she was so alarmed by the request that it's put her off meeting men online.
Quizzed whether she had ever been hit on by fans on social media, she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've had a few marriage proposals and some interesting messages. A guy once asked me to send him some of my socks because he was apparently collecting socks. I didn't ask him what for, because I didn't know where the socks would be going..."
While the blonde beauty - who is currently single - isn't opposed to the idea of dating a fan, she definitely wasn't feeling the love with her foot-obsessed suitor.
Speaking at the launch of KEY Fashion's Spring Summer 2014 collection today (25.03.14), Ashley giggled: "I don't know if that would be someone where I'd be like, 'Yes, take me on a date!' It would be a little scary. Probably not going to happen!"
The star was the Maid of Honour at her former Pussycat Dolls bandmate Kimberly Wyatt's wedding to Max Rogers last month, and she also revealed she shares similarly strong spiritual beliefs to her best friend.
She explained: "I'm definitely a spiritual person. I didn't really have a religious upbringing in my life which was tough at times because I was searching for some kind of meaning, but it also gave me an avenue to find my own sense of connection.
"I've been following Amma, who's a guru, for six years now. My life coach is very spiritual and I do a lot of meditation and mantras. It's what I've found to keep me balanced and centred in a world where I find we're given mathematics and history and we're not really given life tools."
The KEY Collection is available from www.keyfashion.co.uk from March 25, 2014, with prices starting from £80.00.

Carson Daly to be father again

Carson Daly is to become a father for the third time.
The 'Voice' host joked he and fiancee Siri Pinter - who already have son Jack, five, and daughter Etta, 19 months, together - have been advised to "slow down" by his mother after announcing they will welcome another child into the world this summer.
Speaking on 'The Tonight Show' last night (24.03.14), he said: "I have a five year old and my daughter's 19 months, and we're expecting a third.
"For years my mom was like, 'When are you going to have a kid?' And now she's like, 'Slow down!' "
Siri, 32, also revealed she, her 40-year-old partner and their children are thrilled by the news, but she admitted she can't stop eating.
Writing on her Siriously Delicious blog, she posted: "I'm pregnant! Carson and I are expecting our third child in mid-August and he, Jack, Etta and I are so happy. Well, as far as I can tell Etta is happy (she thinks the baby lives in my breasts).
"I'm about halfway there, feeling pretty great, and eating enough for five. Is that how it works? Are you supposed to eat for every member of your family, including the baby in your belly? Just say yes and make me feel better about life."
