Kanye West advised on Kim’s Vogue style

Kanye West helped decide what Kim Kardashian would wear for their Vogue shoot.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker - who famously overhauled the reality TV star's wardrobe months after they started dating in 2012 - advised on his fiancee's make-up and outfits, but in an "encouraging", rather than critical way.
Make-up artist Aaron de Mey, who worked on the shoot, said: "He thought that her make-up looked very beautiful, but definitely had opinions on the dresses and the styles he liked best, but it was in a supportive way -- it was lovely to see them interact with each other."
Kim - who wore a series of bridal-style gowns in the shoot for the iconic publication - and Kanye were also photographed with their nine-month-old daughter North, and Aaron wanted the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star to seem "realistic" in the family pictures, so kept her make-up fairly simple.
He explained to Cosmopolitan.com: "She was very open to something different, but Grace [Coddington] wanted to simplify her look because Kim is naturally gorgeous.
"Grace also had couture dresses made for her that were very sophisticated and ladylike, so we wanted to keep her look fresh and young -- almost like a twist on the style. Plus, she had the baby and Kanye with her in the pictures, so I wanted her to look realistic and not too untouchable."

Prince Harry’s South Pole trek pals for London Marathon

Prince Harry's South Pole trek companions will compete in the London Marathon.
The injured servicemen and women who joined the 29-year-old royal in the charity walk on behalf of Walking with the Wounded have signed up to take part in the annual marathon next month.
All four of Harry's teammates are taking part, including Major Kate Philp, who lost her left leg in a bomb explosion in Afghanistan; Sergeant Duncan Slater, who lost both of his legs in a car explosion; Captain Guy Disney, who lost his right leg in a rocket attack; and Captain Ibrar Ali, who lost his right arm in a roadside attack.
Nine members of the international teams that competed in the South Pole trek last December will join them.
Captain Ali told the London Evening Standard newspaper: "The long runs are often very similar to when I was pulling my pulk during the expedition. It's a solitude that is quite nice because I find it's very simple to just switch off. I'll be hoping to make it around the 26.2 mile course alongside my 14 comrades."

Prince Philip concerned about mice

Britain's Prince Philip is concerned about mice damaging the Royal Collection.
The 92-year-old royal asked a bizarre question about the insurance of the royals' trinkets - including paintings, historical photographs and more - during a visit to Lloyd's of London with Queen Elizabeth yesterday (27.03.14).
The royal couple visited Lloyd's to celebrate its 325th anniversary.
Philip asked insurance group Hiscox's chief underwriting officer Paul Lawrence: "Is the Royal Collection insured against damage by mice?"
Paul replied: "For you, everything is covered."
Hiscox is in charge of insuring more than a million royal treasures including 7,000 paintings, historical photos, furniture, tapestries, ceramics and books at all royal residences across Britain.
It's not known what spurred Philip's bizarre question and both Buckingham Palace and the Royal Collection Trust appeared dumbfounded.
A spokesperson for the Trust told the Daily Express newspaper: "We don't have any concerns about mice in relation to the Royal Collection."
Queen Elizabeth, 87, unveiled a special plaque to mark her visit to Lloyd's and the royal couple joined chief executives for a luncheon thrown in their honour.

Prince Laurent out of medical coma

Belgium's Prince Laurent has been taken out of a medically-induced coma.
The 50-year-old royal was rushed to hospital last week after coming down with pneumonia and volunteered himself for an artificial coma two days ago.
However, he has now come out of the coma as his condition has improved.
Royal spokesperson said Prince Laurent - younger brother of King Philippe - is a in a "stable" condition.
Laurent is doing significantly better since being admitted to Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc hospital in Brussels and doctors are now encouraging him to eat.
Doctors placed him in an artificial coma in order to improve his condition by giving him antibiotics.
Belgian TV channel RTL said: "An artificial coma would avoid the patient exhausting themselves by fighting against the life-support system."
Laurent's wife Princess Claire - who was born in Bath, England - has been by his side throughout the ordeal.
The couple have a 10-year-old daughter, Princess Louise, and nine-year-old twin sons, Prince Nicolas and Prince Aymeric.
King Philippe visited his brother on Monday (24.03.14) and Queen Mathilde visited on Tuesday (25.03.14).
