Corrie’s Maria to discover Marcus and Todd affair

'Coronation Street's' Maria Connor will discover Marcus Dent's affair with Todd Grimshaw next week.
The hairdresser, played by Samia Ghadie, is left shocked when she walks in on her boyfriend (Charlie Condou) embracing Todd (Bruno Langley).
Maria has arranged a house viewing with Marcus, but Todd - who has been pursuing the midwife since his return to Weatherfield last year - decides to turn up to at the show home to steal a moment with Marcus instead. However, things take a dramatic turn when Maria and Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) also arrive at the house.
Samia told the official 'Coronation Street' website: "Todd decides that it's a brilliant idea for him to turn up at the viewing of the house instead of Maria and seduce him in the show home. So, as Todd and Marcus are getting it on in the house, Audrey and Maria are walking up the garden path.
"Be prepared for some huge drama when Maria finds out about Marcus and Todd."
Maria has no idea about Marcus' recent affair with Todd and is convinced he is committed to her, despite previously identifying himself as gay prior to their relationship.
Samia added: "Maria hasn't a clue of what happened between Marcus and Todd. There's been no alarm bells ringing in her head ... she just thinks Todd is a friend. Marcus has put all her fears to bed about him being gay and she completely trusts him.
"Todd's on a mission to prove to himself and Marcus that he is, in fact, gay and to break them up. He doesn't care one bit that Marcus says he's happy with Maria."

Patrick Wilson confirms ‘important’ Ant-Man role

Patrick Wilson has confirmed his 'Ant-Man' casting.
'The Conjuring' actor was careful not to reveal whether he will play the protagonist or antagonist saying, "I can't tell you", but admitted his role was "important" when he spoke at the South by Southwest festival (SXSW), in Austin, Texas.
Wilson was also quizzed on whether or not he tried on a costume for the forthcoming Marvel superhero movie - is set to begin filming in April - and he said, "No."
The 40-year-old actor will star alongside Paul Rudd who will play Scott Lang, the new incarnation of Ant-Man, and Michael Douglas who will star as Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man who discovered the scientific technology which affords the hero his powers.
The film is being directed by British filmmaker Edgar Wright, who also co-wrote the script with Joe Cornish, and follows the adventures of a superhero that can shrink himself down to insect size.
Kevin Feige is producing 'Ant-Man' which is expected for a July 2015 release.

Zac Efron ‘thinking about’ High School Musical reunion film

Zac Efron is "thinking about" a 'High School Musical' reunion movie.
The 26-year-old actor was catapulted to the spotlight in 2006's hit film where he played popular student and captain of the varsity basketball team, Troy Bolton, alongside Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale.
The hunk claims he still meets up with his former co-stars, who've never forgotten the experience they shared, and insists their reunions take them back to the days when they worked together.
He told E! News: "We're all thinking about it [reunion movie].
"I continue to see all the guys from 'High School'.
"Every time we do [meet up]... there's just this look between us. It's so cool because we never forget a single moment of that experience. It brings you right back to those days."
Efron will next hit the big screen in comedy 'Neighbors', where he plays the president of a fraternity, alongside Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne who have been cast as a married couple.
He added: "It was neat. For me it was essentially the same as filming a drama. They took it really seriously.
"For us, we really had a fraternity. We really made it into a fraternity. It was kind of method. It really was. It was just so much fun."

Dominic Cooper likes shooting sex scenes ‘butt naked’

Dominic Cooper prefers to film sex scenes "butt naked."
The 'Need For Speed' actor says a "sad nappy" is just one of the embarrassing undergarments he has been made to wear in a bid to protect his modesty while shooting love making scenes, but thinks it's far better to strip off completely.
Dominic exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "[What's embarrassing about sex scenes?] Well normally it's what they try and make you wear, which is anything from some sad nappy, to a towel with elastic bands round it in the shape of a penis - like that in any way is going to make you feel better. Actually, it's better to be butt naked and get on with it."
The 35-year-old actor engages in a series of sex scenes with co-star Lara Pulver in TV drama series 'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond', but insists he has never been inappropriately aroused whilst filming due to the unromantic atmosphere on set.
Dominic explained: "I've been quite lucky enough to not have [been aroused]. I think probably when I first had to do it that was a real fear but you learn quite quickly that you are surrounded by hairy blokes with cameras in their hands and microphones, and it's the last place you would get aroused. Plus you're not doing it with someone who you should really get aroused with anyway."
'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond' is released on DVD today (10.03.14).

Khloe Kardashian’s family staged intervention

Khloe Kardashian's friends and family staged a 'marital intervention' to persuade her to file for divorce from husband Lamar Odom.
The reality TV star, who ended her marriage to the former basketball star in December after he allegedly cheated on her and used drugs, found it difficult to make the decision alone and sisters Kim and Kourtney joined friend Malika Haqq to give her advice.
Khloe was seen on 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' last night (09.03.14) speaking to Kim, who told her: "You will feel guilty for awhile, thinking, is there more I could have done?"
She added that she felt guilty for "a year" after separating from her second husband, Kris Humpries, after just 72 days of marriage, to which Khloe replied: "Oh, stop. This is torture. I can't!"
The episode saw Khloe, 29, and her family discussing her troubled marriage to Lamar, 34, who has only been heard during phone calls during the recent series.
Kim opened up to viewers and said: "As much as I love Lamar, it's just so hard to see your sister live in this relationship where you don't know when she's going to speak to him next."
She said Khloe had given up her life for the past couple of years to try and get her marriage back on track and claims watching the situation unfold was "heart-breaking."
Khloe admitted: "For me, it's hard to make a decision just alone" and Kim assured her they wanted to help, as she wiped away tears and said: "We know it's hard on you. You've told him, 'Come fix this marriage!' "
Later on, Kris Jenner told Khloe: "I heard you actually filed [for divorce] today", before telling the cameras, "It's so hard to watch my daughter go through this heartbreak."

Charlie Sheen quits drinking

Charlie Sheen has given up drinking.
The 'Anger Management' actor - who was fired from 'Two and a Half Men' in 2010 because of his wild partying and erratic behaviour - is said to have embarked on a detox programme because the show is close to going into syndication so he knows it is important to stay focused because of the financial benefits of the sitcom continuing to thrive.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "It's all about dollar signs for Charlie. He knows that if he can keep himself together and keep 'Anger Management' going strong, it will pay off big time.
"So for the last two weeks he's completely stopped drinking and has been detoxing. He's taking it really seriously!"
The 48-year-old star's fiancée, Brett Rossi, is said to be instrumental in his decision to get "healthy", and she has also taken control of his finances.
The source said: "Brett is cleaning house in more ways than one.
"She's been cracking down on the way Charlie frivolously spends his money and she's also keen to get him healthy. Charlie's not someone to usually be bossed around, but he's so head over heels for Brett and respects her and knows that she just has his best interests at heart."
It was recently claimed that Charlie had thrown 'Anger Management's filming schedule into chaos with a number of absences.
However, his spokesperson denied the claims, telling The Hollywood Reporter: "We did not shoot last week because another member of the cast was sick. Charlie is always ready, willing and able to shoot 'Anger Management' and looks forward to returning on Monday."
