Courtney Love has been hit with a tax bill of over $300,000.
The 49-year-old star was a handed a $319,749 lien last month for the tax period ending in 2012, according to IRS filings seen by the New York Post newspaper.
The blonde rocker - who has admitted to having financial difficulties in the past - last year received a tax bill for $266,861, which included unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2011 and she also had a lien filed against her in 2009 for money she owed in 2007 but is reported to have paid it off.
And on Tuesday (08.04.14) Courtney was also ordered by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to pay fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir, who claims she was defamed by the 'Malibu' hitmaker on Twitter, $96,000 as after originally being ordered to pay her $450,000 she only paid approximately $350,000.
The 'Celebrity Skin' hitmaker - who was married to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain - earns the majority of her money through royalties and other revenue's from Kurt's estate, as well as from her acting career and touring with her band Hole.
In a previous interview, Courtney - who claims she's been sober since 2007 - admitted that her and Kurt has struggled with money issues before his suicide in 1994.
She said: "We could never find our money ... Do you think Kurt would have killed himself if he had known he had $54 million?"
Courtney and Kurt's daughter Frances Bean Cobain took control of End of Music LLC, which earns money from Kurt's publicity rights, in 2012.

Peaches Geldof's former nanny Anita Debney has paid tribute to her "brave beautiful girl".
The late 25-year-old star's ex-childminder, who was employed by Bob Geldof and Paula Yates when Peaches was a toddler, has spoken for the first time since the TV personality was found dead at her family home in Wrotham, Kent, South East England on Monday (07.04.14).
Anita wrote on Instagram: "She has been the greatest joy, the greatest blessing, the most tender part of my heart and soul. I loved her through the good times and the bad. We struggled and survived the darkest of times.
"I never lost faith in her spirit and strength. Always held out my hand to help her when she struggled and fell. She overcame so much and my love and appreciation of her indomitable spirit never wavered."
Peaches - who had children Astala, 23 months, and 11-month-old Phaedra with her husband Thomas Cohen - remained close friends with Anita, visiting her just two weeks ago.
The nanny, who is godmother to Phaedra, shared a special bond with Peaches' children and flew back from the US on Tuesday (08.04.14) upon hearing the tragic news and is now expected to play a part in their upbringing.
She added in her moving online tribute: "The joy we shared in her beautiful babies was so deep and meaningful and filled both of our hearts with love and devotion.
"She blossomed in motherhood and excelled at raising the sweetest, happiest babies in the world. She was passionate in her zeal to speak up for the needs of babies everywhere and lives have been changed because of that.
"What a wonderful legacy she has left to the world. My darling girl. You almost made it."
Peaches' body has now been released by coroners so plans for her funeral can be made, but her cause of death remains unexplained after a postmortem examination on Wednesday (09.04.14) proved inconclusive.

Steven Tyler is thrilled with his daughter's recent engagement.
The Aerosmith legend couldn't be happier for Chelsea - his 25-year-old daughter with ex-wife Teresa Barrick - who is to tie the knot with actor-and-musician Jon Foster, 29.
Steven gushed in a statement to People: "I fell in love with Jon the minute I met him, and Chelsea loves him over the moon. Jon is a great fellow musician and actor. I couldn't be happier."
Jon - who is the younger brother of 'Lone Survivor' star Ben Foster - was incredibly respectful of the 'I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing' rocker, asking his permission for his daughter's hand in marriage at her birthday party in March.
Steven added: "It was beautifully old-fashioned. And it meant the world to me when he came to me and asked for her hand in marriage."
The 66-year-old star also expressed his joy on Twitter, writing: "MY BABY GIRL @CHELSEATTYLER IS ENGAGED TO @INTHEJON!!! I'M OVER THE MOON...LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH (sic)"

Courtney Love hugged Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic as Nirvana were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night (10.04.14).
The Hole singer put aside her differences with late husband Kurt Cobain's former bandmates at the ceremony at Brooklyn's Barclays Center as they remembered the singer, who committed suicide 20 years ago.
Courtney said: "I just wish Kurt was here to do this."
Bassist Krist paid tribute to his bandmate, saying: "Nirvana fans walk up to me every day and say thank you for the music. When I hear that, I think of Kurt Cobain."
After being inducted by R.E.M. star Michael Stipe, Joan Jett then joined the surviving members of the group to perform 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', with Lorde, St. Vincent and Kim Gordon also teaming up with the rockers.
Also honoured at the ceremony were the original members of KISS - Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley - who took to the stage without their famous make-up, who were introduced by Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, who spoke of how he was bullied for liking the band.
He said: "Tonight proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the high school bullies and critics were wrong. KISS fans were right."
Bruce Springsteen inducted his E Street Band into the Hall of Fame, which included posthumous honours for saxaphone player Clarence Clemons and keyboardist Danny Federici.
He said: "We suffered aging, illness and death together. We took care of each other when trouble knocked, and we hurt each other in big and small ways. In the end we stuck with each other."
Other inductees included Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Yusuf Islam, who was formerly known as Cat Stevens, and Linda Ronstadt, who didn't attend the ceremony because of ill health.
Instead, a selection of her hits were performed by Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Glenn Frey and Stevie Nicks.
The first two artist managers were also inducted into the Hall, the late Brian Epstein, who managed the Beatles, and Andrew Loog Oldham, of the Rolling Stones.
The 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air on HBO on May 31

James 'Arg' Argent is hoping to rekindle his romance with Lydia Bright.
The 'TOWIE' favourite is excited his ex-girlfriend is returning to the ITV2 show and hopes she can forgive him for his recent admission that he cheated on her with their old co-star Amy Childs.
He said: "She was my first love. I lost my virginity to her and haven't met one girl who's matched her. I'm not gonna lie, her coming back has motivated me to get down the gym and look good.
"I'm more mature now and I've got a lot out of my system. When we were last together, it was amazing but I was too young. But I don't know if she'll ever forgive me for cheating."
Arg is excited to see what a summer of fun in Marbella, Spain, will mean for him and Lydia and thinks there is definitely scope for friendship, if nothing more.
The joker said: "I'd been avoiding her at all costs, but it was really nice to see her. We're both in Marbella in the summer, so maybe we'll have a face-to-face chat and the Lydia and Arg journey will continue."
The star has revealed he regrets breaking his friend and former fling Gemma Collins' heart, but there's nothing he can do about it.
He added to Now magazine: "It's never nice to see a girl cry and I do care about Gemma, but we're just suited as friends and unfortunately that's all I can offer. I can't force myself to love her as its just not there. I wish I did but I can't."

Neil Dudgeon believes the kill count in 'Midsomer Murders' is actually quite low.
The 53-year-old actor portrays lead character DCI John Barnaby in the ITV crime drama and although fans often joke about the high murder rate in the fictional county, Neil insists the viewers need to remember it is actually supposed to be a huge area of Britain.
Neil told BANG Showbiz: "I think of Midsomer as kind of Buckinghamshire, half of Oxfordshire and Berkshire, it's a sort of super-county. You could also think of it being like Devon, Wiltshire and Dorset all put together. So if you think about it like that, in 16 years there's been about 305 murders that's less than 20 murders a year, if my maths are right. In an area that size, you think, 'That's not so many really.' It's the fact that come in clusters that is possibly alarming and hopefully entertaining. Midsomer is not that deadly or murderous."
Neil thinks viewers' misconception about the death rate comes from the mistaken belief that Midsomer is actually a village.
The star has come up with an idea to stop people from thinking Midsomer is a village - he's going to get T-shirts printed with the correct information emblazoned on them.
He joked: "I want to get T-shirts made which say, 'It's not a village, it's a county!' People always say, 'Oh God, all those murders in one village.' I think that would be stretching the bounds of believability, even more than we do anyway, if everything happened in one village ... I hoped when my Barnaby moved in and took over from the old Barnaby that we could do something to arrest the alarming murder rate but that hasn't happened. I've always been a fan of several murders per episode any way."
Neil became the lead character in the series after John Nettles - who played DCI Tom Barnaby, the cousin of John Barnaby - decided to quit in 2011 after 14 years in the role.
Neil feels very comfortable in the show and is pleased that viewers seem to like his work in it as much as they enjoyed John's performances.
He explained: "I've been having a marvellous time since taking over from John, it's been great. When I started I'd always been a fan of the show which helped me greatly, because I felt I had at least my idea of what the show was, what it was meant to be, what I, as a fan of the show, really enjoyed about it. Luckily, people seem to like it."
The 100th episode of 'Midsomer Murders, The Killings of Copenhagen' - which as well as Neil stars Danish actors Ann Eleonora Jorgensen, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen, Marie Askehave and Nicolaj Kopernikus - is available to buy on DVD now.

June Squibb says Jack Nicholson is not retiring
The 'Nebraska' actress starred opposite the 'As Good as It Gets' hunk in 2002's 'About Schmidt' and claims the actor is just waiting for the right role to come along.
Talking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I think if Jack found a script that he wanted to act in or direct then he would."
The 84-year-old star recalled her days on set where she played Nicholson's on-screen wife, Helen, who dies leaving Nicholson's alter-ego to contemplate his life without her.
She explained: "Jack Nicholson is fun to work with, he's such a good actor. We did a lot of improvising in that film."
Rumours have been circulating about the 76-year-old actor's retirement, with some reports claiming it is due to Nicholson suffering from memory loss. It was also suggested that he turned down the leading role in 'Nebraska', which was subsequently give to Bruce Dern.
Addressing these whisperings, Squibb added: "Bruce Dern is a very good friend of his. And we heard that there was no truth in it."
Meanwhile, she is returning to the stage to star in 'Driving Miss Daisy' at the Dallas Theatre Centre in Texax which will be her first project since starring in critically acclaimed film 'Nebraska' in 2013.
Squibb said: "I've done a lot of work in regional theatre. I'm going back to in the fall and I'm doing 'Driving Miss Daisy'."
'Nebraska' is released on DVD on Monday (14.04.14).

Peaches Geldof's youngest son was with her when she died.
The 25-year-old star's husband Thomas Cohen - who had spent a night away with eldest child Astala, 23 months - asked a friend to check on her at their home in Wrotham, Kent, South East England, when his wife failed to answer her phone on Monday (07.04.14), and her body was found with 11-month-old Phaedra playing nearby.
A source said: "The hope is that Phaedra is so young he wasn't aware of what was going on. The most important thing is that he's OK.
"It is devastating for Tom that he wasn't there but it couldn't have been avoided."
Peaches was an advocate of attachment parenting, meaning she was rarely without her young son by her side, and insiders hope her family will take "comfort" from the fact she didn't die alone.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Phaedra was by her side most of the time, even when she was sleeping. At the very least, there can be some comfort that she wasn't by herself when she died."
When Peaches' own mother Paula Yates was found dead at her London home in 2000, her baby daughter Tiger Lily, now 17, was found playing near her mum's body.
Yesterday (10.04.14), the presenter's father Bob Geldof was seen visiting her home, where he was greeted by Tom's parents Keith and Susan. The two men spent 20 minutes talking in the garden before the rocker entered the house, leaving two hours later with some of his daughter's belongings.
Peaches' body has now been released by coroners so plans for her funeral can be made.
Her cause of death remains unexplained.

Harry Styles is reportedly dating Daisy Lowe again.
The One Direction hunk is said to have enjoyed a string of secret meetings with the brunette model - who he was first romantically linked with last December - including in London's private members club Shoreditch House and Greek restaurant Lemonia in Primrose Hill, and the pair went to great lengths to ensure they weren't pictured together.
A source said: "When they see each other they keep it very private, suggesting it's more than just a friendly hang-out."
Harry - who has previously dated stars including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner - is keen to "get to know" Daisy, 25, better and they are taking their romance slowly.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "Harry's always liked Daisy's style and now wants to get to know her properly over time.
"He was even spotted visiting the Primrose Hill pet shop last week with her dog in tow."
Daisy previously dated former 'Doctor Who' actor Matt Smith, but they split last year after three years together.
Harry, 20, and Daisy were said to have first got together at mutual friend Alexa Chung's birthday party and shared an instant connection.
A source previously said: 'When Harry met Daisy there was a real spark. When they see each other they make sure it's in private at night or with a group of friends.''

Linkin Park claim they need to "weed out the emo" when it comes to their new album.
The band - made up of Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Mark Wakefield and Dave Farrell - are working on the follow-up to their 2012 record 'Living Things' and rapper Mike wanted to take a different approach.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: "It needed to be visceral. We need to weed out a lot of the soft, emo kind of approach to our music, and we need to weed out anything that feels aggressive for aggressive's sake.
"We're not 18-year-old kids making a loud record - we're 37-year-old adults making a loud record. "And what makes a 37-year-old angry is different than what made us angry back in the day."
The album, which will be made up of 12 tracks, isn't finished yet, but Mike plans to have it mixed in coming days ahead of its release on June 17 and the band's summer tour.
Mike also feels their upcoming record could be the "loudest" they've ever made.
He added: "We didn't make the heaviest record of all time. I'm very aware that there are super, super heavy bands out there that make music that is really, really gnarly.
"We didn't make a Botch record. We didn't make a Meshuggah record. We made a really loud and aggressive Linkin Park record, maybe the loudest we've made."

The Vamps' Tristan Evans wants an older woman.
The 19-year-old musician - who is the band's drummer - admits it would be "nice" to "romance" an older woman and says getting chatted up by 'cougars' has become a regular occurrence for the group and its members, Connor Ball, Bradley Simpson and James McVey, as mums of the teenage fans often get flirty when the group are on the road.
Tristan exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There have been a couple of intense mums yes. One wanted to nick my bandana the other day and I was like, 'No, you're not getting any part of my clothing today.' They can just be a bit more intense than the actual daughter."
Tristan also admitted that he has his eye on former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, who at 32-years-old, is 13 years his senior, but he says he would be more than happy with former Disney star Demi Lovato, who he thinks is a "goddess."
