Sam Faiers feeling more ‘positive’

Sam Faiers has started eating again after being diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
The 23-year-old star has been living on nutritional shakes over the last six weeks due to the inflammatory bowel disease - which severely affected her condition while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house in January - but is now enjoying solid foods such as white rice and chicken.
She said: "I've only been able to start eating in the last week. I have to eat plain foods like white rice, potatoes, chicken and fish. It's nice to eat proper food."
'The Only Way is Essex' star says she is feeling "very positive" at the moment and looks forward to being able to drink "loads" of alcohol in the near future when doctors lift an alcohol ban.
Sam has only been able to indulge 'in a "small glass of wine now and again" due to her recovery.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I've been filming for 'TOWIE', I'm feeling better in myself."
Sam lost a stone-and-a-half in January due to the condition and was rushed to hospital twice while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.

Shia LaBeouf pulls out of Rock The Kasbah

Shia LaBeouf has pulled out of 'Rock The Kasbah'.
The actor will no longer be appearing in Barry Levinson's all-star comedy, in which he was due to play one half of a military duo, with sources telling The Hollywood Reporter it was an "amicable parting".
The movie stars Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel and Danny McBride in the tale of a has-been rock manager's (Murray) musical misadventures in Afghanistan.
News of LaBeouf joining the cast in January initially surprised fans since the actor had only just declared he intended to retire from acting and "all public life" following "attacks against his artistic integrity".
The star has had a difficult few months, culminating in him storming out of a 'Nymphomaniac' press conference in Berlin before arriving on the red carpet for the film's German premiere wearing a paper bag on his head that read, "I am not famous anymore."
He was also forced to apologise for alleged plagiarism and starred in his own silent art installation in Los Angeles.
'Rock The Kasbah' centres on Murray's character trying to get his last remaining client to perform on a USO tour entertaining troops in Afghanistan, only to end up alone and penniless in Kabul.
When he meets a young girl with a fantastic voice, he decides to mentor her through reality TV competition 'Afghan Star'.
Shia currently has no more film roles lined up, but will next be seen opposite Brad Pitt in David Ayer's World War II drama, 'Fury'.

Emma Watson addresses Little Mermaid rumours

Emma Watson has addressed rumours that she is to star in 'The Little Mermaid'.
The 23-year-old actress - who is currently starring alongside Russell Crowe in biblical adventure 'Noah' - is reportedly being sought after by the film's director Sofia Coppola to take on the lead role in the live-action animation, and she's admitted that she's portrayed the aquatic creature in the past.
She told Variety: "I actually dressed up as Ariel for my fifth birthday."
The 'Harry Potter' star worked with Coppola on 'The Bling Ring' last year and she claims that although she hasn't been approached, she would definitely consider working with the 'Lost in Translation' film-maker again.
She added: "I mean I'd have to read it first ... I love Sofia so much."
Coppola is said to have had her sights on Hans Christian Andersen's tragic fairytale since she wrapped on 'The Bling Ring' and she's thought to be planning a version in keeping with the original 1837 story, which sees the broken hearted mermaid commit suicide after the prince marries another woman, rather than the cartoon version made famous by Disney in 1989.
Watson is reportedly Coppola's first choice for the role of Ariel.
A source said previously: "Sofia wants Emma, and the pair have such respect for each other, it would be very unsurprising if they carry on without each other."

Robbie Williams has Take That ultimatum

Robbie Williams has until May to commit to Take That.
The 40-year-old singer, who has 19-month-old daughter Theodora with his wife Ayda, has been given a deadline to decide whether he'll return to the band or not.
Bandmate Gary Barlow, 43, said: "We need to know what we are doing by the end of May.
"The thing is with Robbie is that he is a family man, so whether he will be in the final line-up I'm not sure."
Gary initially gave Robbie until January to make his final decision, but the band - also consisting of Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen - have only just begun work on their new album, so the cut-off date has been extended.
Gary explained: "We're one month into the writing process, with the new record hopefully at Christmas and a tour next year. We think we have some good material already but no album title just yet."
However, regardless of Robbie's decision, the 'Face to Face' hitmaker insists the hunk will still write with the band on their new album, and the group will also help out with Robbie's next release.
Speaking on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' tonight (28.03.14), he explained: "If he's not back in the band, he'll write on the record and we will work with him on his next record."
'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' airs at 10pm on Channel 4.

Fleetwood Mac announce tour with Christine McVie

Fleetwood Mac have announced their first tour with Christine McVie in 16 years.
The band will be reuniting with the 70-year-old singer, who walked out on the group in 1998, for their North American 34-date tour, which kicks off at the end of September.
The rock band - consisting of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham - have also confirmed they will be recording a new album with Christine and they will be heading to the studio together next month, according to NME magazine.
Fleetwood Mac confirmed at the beginning of the year that Christine had rejoined the band, but remained tight-lipped on whether a tour was in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Christine expressed an interest in reuniting with the group after she performed with her former bandmates at their Fleetwood Mac Live London shows last year.
She said in November: "I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them. I miss them all."
The blonde beauty - who was married to bassist John until they divorced in 1976 - played with Fleetwood Mac for 28 years, and wrote some of their most famous songs, including; 'Say You Love Me', 'Don't Stop' and 'Little Lies'.

Prince Edward visits Roman sex exhibition

Britain's Prince Edward visited an exhibition of ancient Roman sexual artefacts yesterday (27.03.14).
Queen Elizabeth's youngest son was given a tour of Brading Roman Villa on the Isle of Wight, where he was shown a new exhibition, Roman Sexuality: Images, Myths and Meanings, which features pieces on loan from the British Museum.
The sexually laden showcase included the famous Warren Cup, which was recently featured on a BBC documentary, 'History of the World in 100 Objects'.
The ancient cup, which is thought to be from the first century AD, is engraved with graphic depictions of male same-sex acts.
The exhibition's curator Mike Bishop showed the 50-year-old royal around the museum and it seems Edward was very curious about the sexually themed artefacts.
Mike told the Isle of Wight County Press: "He spent a good bit of time looking around. He was very interested indeed."
Edward is a patron of the Brading Roman Villa and visited the museum on a trip to the Isle of Wight with his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

Mel B tipped to join The X Factor

Mel B is being lined up to become a judge on 'The X Factor'.
Simon Cowell - who is returning to the singing competition's judging panel with Cheryl Cole - wants to hire the Spice Girls singer to fill the 'alpha female' void left by former judge Nicole Scherzinger.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Mel is top of Simon's list. He thinks she has just the spark the panel needs. He doesn't want any shrinking violets or pop stars who are just eye candy.
"He looks at it as Cheryl Cole is a princess and Mel is an alpha female."
The 38-year-old star - full name Melanie Brown - already works for Simon on 'America's Got Talent' and show bosses are confident she can juggle the two commitments.
The US talent competition - which airs over the summer - will end in mid-September, just in time for the 'X Factor' live shows.
Mel B, who was previously a judge on the Australian version of 'The X Factor', divided opinion as she proved a harsh judge when she served as a stand-in panellist on the show two years ago.
Meanwhile, Simon, 54, has hinted veteran judge Louis Walsh will be back on the show this year, joining him and Cheryl, 30.
He said: "I can't imagine the show without him."
The music mogul suggested he is eager to hire an unknown music industry expert rather than a star to join the panel too.
He added: "It would be someone who does this for a living -- a manager, a songwriter. That's my preference."

Cameron Diaz ‘sexually attracted’ to women

Cameron Diaz is "sexually attracted" to women.
The 41-year-old actress - who has dated Jared Leto and Justin Timberlake in the past - believes it's "natural" to appreciate the "beauty" of other ladies and to feel some form of sexual desire towards them from time to time.
She said: "I think women are beautiful - absolutely beautiful.
"And I think that all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point. It's natural to have a connectivity and an appreciation for the beauty of other women."
Meanwhile, the American actress admits she prefers dating British men because of their hilarious sense of humour, but she can be instantly turned off someone if they're ignorant and douse themselves in too much cologne.
When asked what her biggest turn-off is, she told the May issue of Glamour magazine: "Being rude. I don't have any patience with that. Oh, and too much cologne - that's something I can't do.
"Hygiene's not a bad thing, either, so that's quite high on the list. But basically I love a sense of humour because that's what tells you how smart a man is.
"I love British humour and British men."

Gwyneth Paltrow to live as ‘recluse’ for 6 months

Gwyneth Paltrow has vowed to live as a "recluse" for six months.
The 41-year-old actress is determined to stay away from the public eye for at least half a year while she comes to terms with her split from husband of 10 years Chris Martin.
The 'Mortdecai' star - who was pictured embracing former boyfriend Donovan Leitch months before confirming her separation - is considering pulling out of any promotional work this summer so she can focus on helping her children, Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, deal with the heartache.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Gwyneth has been rocked at her friendships with men being cited as possible causes for their split.
"She has told her people she wants to retreat from any public life for six months and live as a recluse.
"Her focus is her kids as they face the trauma of heading back to school with all the headlines soon."
The couple announced their separation on Gwyneth's website GOOP.com earlier this week, but the Coldplay frontman was reportedly "really miffed" with his ex-lover because he didn't want to make their split so public.
Meanwhile, Chris, 37, has posed a ban on all questions about his personal life in forthcoming interviews.

Beyonce and Jay Z plan World Cup trip

Jay Z and Beyonce are going to Brazil for soccer's World Cup - despite knowing nothing about the sport.
The couple are planning to head to Rio in June for the tournament because they think there will be a great "party atmosphere" and have enlisted the advice of their friend David Beckham to boost their knowledge of the contest.
A source said: "Jay and Beyoncé don't really take an interest in football.
"But they love the idea of the party atmosphere that will surround Rio during the tournament.
"They're both pals with David and Jay has been asking him for advice on which games will be the best.
"He admits he doesn't have a clue when it comes to football, but David has been telling him which games he thinks will have the biggest buzz.
"He's even promised to organise VIP tickets for them for some big games."
Beyonce, 32, and Jay, 44, will be joined on their trip by two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy because the '99 Problems' hitmaker thinks it will be a good family bonding experience.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "They're taking Blue Ivy with them to make it extra special.
"Jay thinks that it will be good for them to have some quality time together as a family and Blue will be fascinated by the colours and buzz of Rio.
"They are both so excited about the trip now. Both Jay and Beyoncé think that attending the World Cup in Brazil is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"They think it's going to be like the Rio Carnival multiplied by about a hundred."

Charlie Condou would return to Coronation Street

Charlie Condou might return to 'Coronation Street'.
The 41-year-old actor - who plays bisexual Marcus Dent - will bow out of the ITV soap this summer in a bid to spend more time with his family in London, but he hasn't ruled out reprising his role in future if his career doesn't take off.
He said: "I've got a bit more time [left]. I'm not leaving until June, so I think I'm on screen until August or something like that. They told me that nothing hideous is going to happen!
"It's a bit early for me to start meeting on things yet, but there's a few things that are around and about, so hopefully I'll get a job!
"You look at people like Kate Kelly (Becky McDonald) who's in 'Mr Selfridge' now and Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper) who's just left and is now doing so many things. Hopefully there'll be life after 'Corrie'.
"They're leaving it open for me anyway, so if there isn't, hopefully I can come back!"
Viewers saw Marcus face backlash from fellow residents recently after he settled down with Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) and her young son Liam, and then cheated on her with badboy Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley).
Speaking on ITV's breakfast show 'Lorraine', he said: "He's always wanted a family. I think he got caught up in all of that and he wanted to be a family - and I think he did love Maria. I think he really loved her, but it wasn't to be."

Ricky Wilson: ‘Happiness’ makes you thin

Ricky Wilson believes "happiness" is key to losing weight.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman sparked rumours he had been sticking to a diet in preparation for his coaching role on 'The Voice' UK earlier this year, but the hunk insists he shed the pounds purely by having a positive outlook on life.
Speaking to Geoff Lloyd on his Absolute Radio Hometime Show, Ricky said: "I got that gig on the TV show two weeks before we started filming, and if I had lost the weight for the TV, I'd be selling my secrets. I just haven't been on TV in a while, so no-one has noticed.
Geoff added: "Yeah but usually if people aren't on TV they let themselves go, they become obese."
Ricky replied: "I had the opposite because I didn't worry about anything. I think happiness makes you thin."
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old singer, who stars alongside Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and Will.i.am, still can't believe he landed the job on the singing show because he claims he's the "least famous" person on the panel.
He explained: "I do find it quite unnatural to be sat next to... let me put it this way, I am the least famous person at that particular party, so I'm always looking down the line going, 'You invited me?', 'What am I doing here?'."
