Lily Allen defends Kim Kardashian’s US Vogue cover

Lily Allen has defended Kim Kardashian's US Vogue cover.
The 28-year-old singer believes the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star and her fiance Kanye West, who front the latest edition of the prestigious magazine, will boost sales of the publication.
Talking at the Vogue Festival, she said: "I think that all industries that can be taken advantage of by the internet now, there is no time for irony, it is like 'what the f**k is going to sell?' That is it.
"And I bet you it is the biggest selling cover they have had in five years."
Lily is a fan of Kanye's and after making her pop comeback following a four-year hiatus she named her new album 'Sheezus' - a parody of the rapper's latest album 'Yeezus' - as a tribute to him.
She previously said: "With all my albums, I've just wanted to have a laugh. But yes, 'Sheezus', it's bold. But it's not taking the p**s out of Kanye at all.
"I've got nothing but respect for him. I love him ... So it is a little homage to him. I hope he doesn't think it's a diss. I'd be horrified if he thought that."

The 'Baby' hitmaker and the brunette star, who have dated on/off since 2010, are believed to have rekindled their romance and he's even got her a special piece of jewellery which she's been wearing since their reunion on March 7 in McAllen, Texas.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: "The ring was a gift from Justin, it's not an engagement ring, but they are back on and very serious."
Selena's family are allegedly concerned about their romance and fear the young couple will elope.
The insider added: "Her family is extremely worried that she'll do something crazy like elope with him. Selena is totally wrapped back up in Justin, it's the same pattern happening all over again."
Earlier this month the pair are said to have had a two-hour private dance lesson in Texas after enjoying a romantic breakfast and shopping spree.

The 49-year-old actor has been quoted saying: "That was pretty much all day lying around naked and they have these little stones, right, it's kind of as the lava meets the sea and they get smoothed off and what have you... these stones get really round.
"It was like four days (after shooting the scene), you're still getting dressed in the morning and these little stones are falling out and it's like, 'Where has that been for four days?'"
Russell is thrilled 'Noah' can spark philosophical discussions which explore issue in the world we live in.
He previously explained: "You come out of this movie and you want to talk ... about our stewardship of the earth, our relationship to animals, what is spirituality, who am I in this world - all these fantastic subjects for conversation ... Art that can do that for people is a wonderful thing."

Simon Cowell doesn’t want dogs to be jealous

Simon Cowell doesn't want his dogs to "feel left out" after the birth of his baby boy.
The new father - whose girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to Eric last month - is said to have signed up his two pooches Squiddly and Diddly for a Royal photoshoot with the Duchess of Cornwall's Jack Russell Bluebell for Town & Country magazine.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Simon doesn't want them to feel left out now he has baby Eric.
"He's glad they're getting some notoriety. They played city dogs and Bluebell was a country dog. They yapped a lot."
Meanwhile, Simon's ex-girlfriends recently held a "tea party" for Lauren to show there are "no hard feelings" as they welcomed her following her move to London with the media mogul, where she will live for a few months.
Speaking to the Sunday People newspaper, a source said: "It was all organised it secret and it was to assure her there are no hard feelings.

Damon Albarn: Heroin made me productive

Damon Albarn claims heroin made him "incredibly creative and productive".
The Blur frontman - who has 14-year-old daughter Missy with partner Suzi Winstanley - battled an addiction to the deadly drug in the 1990s but claims the substance made him feel "free" and helped him become a better artist.
He said: "You know, I hate talking about this because of my daughter, my family, but for me, it was incredibly creative. It freed me up.
"If you're talking about odysseys, then that was definitely an odyssey.
"A combination of that and playing really simple, beautiful, repetitive s**t in Africa changed me completely as a musician. I found a sense of rhythm. I somehow managed to break out of something with my voice.
"I can only say heroin was incredibly productive for me. Hand on heart."
The 'Beetlebum' singer - who claims to have quit heroin with the aid of just two aspirin - also claimed the drug gave his life structure because he had a strict rule banning himself from using the substance at weekends.
He explained: "I wouldn't recommend that and I was incredibly lucky, but I did manage it. I mean, five days on and two days off is kind of mad isn't it? It was mad.
"I became regimented during that period funnily enough. [Did heroin give my life structure?] Yes. Ha. I don't know. It was such a long time ago now."
And despite claiming heroin helped his career, he admits there were other problems with it.
He said: "It does turn you into a very isolated person and ultimately anything you are truly dependent on is not good.
Damon first took heroin after returning from a Blur tour to the house he shared with then-girlfriend Justine Frischmann and never expected the habit to become a "problem".
He told Q magazine: "It was just what I found going on in the front room. The telly was on so I just thought, 'Why not?' I never imagined it would become a problem."
