Lesley Joseph struggled with fitness regime

Lesley Joseph "struggled" to get back in shape for 'Birds of a Feather'.
The 68-year-old actress reprised her role as man-eater Dorian Green for a stage production of the sit-com in 2012, and admits slimming down to fit into her tight costumes for the show and subsequent new TV series wasn't easy.
She said: " I had to struggle quite a lot to get the weight off, and to get the legs... My legs have had amazing reviews, it has been a disappearing act because I had allowed myself to appreciate the occasional apricot and crumble and things, so I put on a little bit of weight and when I knew we were doing it on stage, I thought, the entrance that Dorian's got to have, I've got to be the weight I was before.
"So I employed a wonderful fitness and lifestyle coach called Belinda who was quite strong on me and I lost about a stone and a half, getting towards two stone, the legs slimmed, everything slimmed, and then when we went back on television, I thought, 'I can't eat now because I've got to keep it all off' and now I'm doing 'Hot Flush' on stage, it's hard work."
Lesley is proud of the success the revived TV show - which also stars Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke -has received, and she thinks a lot of the credit needs to go to the scriptwriters.
Speaking to Graham Norton on Radio 2, she said: "I think where they've been very clever is they updated it by 15 years rather than expecting us to go on where we left off. And they scripts have been clever enough to incorporate what's going on now, so we fit in very easily with the modern world."

Louis Walsh thinks I Can’t Sing character is too old

Louis Walsh thinks his 'I Can't Sing' character is "far too old", according to Ashley Knight.
The 61-year-old 'X Factor' judge is portrayed by the West-end actor in the new musical written by Harry Hill and based on Simon Cowell's ITV talent show, and he reportedly told the star that he was too old to play him, despite being seven years older.
Ashley told HELLO! magazine: "He came up to me before the show and said I am far too old to play him."
However, the 54-year-old actor claims the Irish music mogul changed his mind after seeing the show because he was so impressed with his performance.
He added: "But I think I won him over because at the end, he came up to me and said I have all his 'isms'. I'm English and I try to do my accent as a drunk Ian Paisley [the Irish politician]."
Louis clearly approved of the show after being won over by Ashley as he claimed it was "fantastic" and even admitted that he's thinking of booking another ticket.
He said: "I'm going to come back again and again. It's funny, it's brilliant and it's got the X Factor."

Backstreet Boys: ‘One Direction remind me so much of us’

Backstreet Boys' Howie Dorough says One Direction remind them of the "mania" in their heyday.
The boy band - who were catapulted to the spotlight in the 90s - warn Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne not to "burn out" and "pace" themselves since it's easy to get "lost" in the excess of the music industry.
Howie told the Daily Star newspaper: "One Direction remind me so much of us back in the day, all that mania.
"It's a marathon, not a sprint, so pace yourselves so you don't burn out too quickly.
"They have credited us as their inspiration, which is very flattering, but I can see how people get lost in this business when it comes to excesses in fame, success and money."
Howie - who was catapulted to the spotlight alongside band mates A. J. McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell - insists 1D should "keep their feet on the ground" if they want long-term success.
He added: "If we give 1D advice, would they even want to take it? I don't know if we would've at their age.
"But people who keep their feet on the ground don't go away, so they need a good support system around them.
"If they write great, timeless music and be good to their fans long career."

Kimberley Walsh: I’ve left it a little late for a big family

Kimberley Walsh believes it's "a little late" for a "big family".
The 32-year-old star - who was catapulted to the spotlight as part of Girls Aloud - is expecting her first child with partner Justin Scott and insists women "struggle with having it all" since they want to build a career but at the same time their biological clock is ticking and "the years fly by".
According to the Mail Online, she said: "I would like a big family but I am realistic and I'm aware at 32 I have left it a little late.
"So I'm realistic about how many I can have, but I would like to have more than one.
"I think women today do struggle with the having it all element. For me there was nothing stopping me but I wanted to have it all and take the opportunities that I had with my career and create a really secure family unit, a home.
"I can relax and it's set up and no financial pressure. It's a tricky one because we want to indulgent in all these massive opportunities which come your way and soak it all up and I think the years fly by and then you are suddenly in your thirties."
Kimberley is thrilled to be in a position where she's had great success and achieved many of her goals and believes she can now "dedicate" her life to the little one.
She added: "But now I'm in a position where I have indulged everything I could ever what to do, from singing to musical theatre to presenting and modelling - 'Strictly [Come Dancing]'.
"I've travelled. I'm in a good mental state, I'm completely fine about being selfless for the first time ever and I can now dedicate my life to a baby.
"That world- which is a world away from where I came from - will hopefully be passed on to my kids, and that's the benefit of it. I'm lucky to feel like that by my age."

Kylie Minogue’s tears for ex

Kylie Minogue cried herself to sleep every night after splitting from Andres Velencoso.
The 'Sexercise' singer has admitted she isn't quite over her decision to part ways with her partner of five years last year, but is moving on with her life and is happy they have remained on good terms.
Asked whether she was still going through heartbreak, she confessed: "I could be, yeah. I could be for sure. It's not that long ago. I'm past the crying every night stage...
"Thankfully, Andres and I are still in touch. Obviously, not like we used to be... he's a great guy, and that's important ... I'm enjoying that I'm so distracted. I'm not sitting at home pining."
The 45-year-old star has had her fair share of serious relationships over the years, but has never married and she believes the official ceremony wouldn't have aggravated her heartbreak any more.
Kylie explained: "I think legalities can make it a little bit more of a headache, but you know there's still heartbreak and emotional sadness and all of the things that come with bad break-up, even if you're not married."
However, the 'Wow' hitmaker believes the pain of separating gets a tiny bit easier each time it happens.
She added in an interview with Attitude magazine: "It does [hurt], but I guess you have resilience because it's not the first time you've been down that road. I know that I'll get through just about anything as much as I don't want to be tied down, I wouldn't wanted to tie someone else down."

Adele will deliver album at her own pace

Adele will deliver her next album "at her own pace."
The 'Skyfall' singer, who is recording the follow-up to her chart-conquering album '21', has worked with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder on new tracks and he claims she is not rushing the release.
He told MSN Music: "I haven't heard everything she's done, but I've heard everything we've done and I'm as proud of it, or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever.
"She will deliver the album on her own timetable, at her own pace, and the only person that will ever declare it finished will be her, when she decides it's finished."
The 25-year-old singer had to cancel tour dates in 2011 to undergo throat surgery and later took time out after giving birth to her son Angelo in 2012, with boyfriend Simon Konecki.
Asked about rumours she's nervous to perform live again, Ryan replied: "I personally wouldn't use the word fear, from conversations I've had with her. I don't think she has a fear of it.
"She's a mother, she has a young kid. When you sell 30 million albums, on one album, she can do whatever the hell she wants to do until forever."
Talking about reports of a possible world tour, Ryan also said: "If she decided to tour I'm sure it will be the most incredible tour ever and if she decides not to, it will have no bearing on how amazing the album itself is because she's one in a million, one in a hundred million, one in a billion."

Bradley Cooper is still madly in love

Bradley Cooper is still madly in love with Suki Waterhouse.
The 'American Hustle' star recently sparked rumours that he had split from the British model after more than a year of dating, amid reports he had reconnected with his ex-girlfriend Renee Zellweger, but friends close to the couple insist they are still very happy together.
A source told E! News: "Bradley and Suki are very much a couple."
The duo haven't been seen together since attending a post Oscars bash in Los Angeles in early March, but the blonde beauty, 22, was spotted arriving at LAX airport over the weekend to spend a few days with the 39-year-old star.
It was previously revealed that Suki was "amazed" by Bradley's level of intelligence when she first met him in London in February 2013.
A source said: "She was ready to write him off as another hunky dumb actor, but Bradley really surprised her with his fluency in French and the intense pile of reading material he has beside his bed.
"He also always carries a backpack of very intellectual books with him to stave off boredom."
Another friend suggested the aspiring actress hopes to walk down the aisle with 'The Hangover' actor - who married actress Jennifer Esposito in 2006 before divorcing her in 2007 - in the near future.
The source explained: "There's a big age difference between them, but Suki adores Brad and after winning over his mum's heart she's hoping for a ring on her finger.
"He's so different from the men she usually meets in the modelling world. Suki loves that Brad's smart as well as sexy. He can't do anything wrong in her eyes."

The brunette beauty says her entire family are sports fanatics and love hosting American football parties for their friends.
She said: "(Ben) watches and I manage the chaos behind him so that he can watch. When I talk about managing chaos I'm talking about managing three little chaotic people, plus whatever friends bring their chaos over and we try to let the guys watch as much as we can."
She added: "My little dude does love a football. He can already sit and watch an entire game. He really gets it."
Asked about her daughters, Jennifer said: "They definitely care about being girly but they're definitely athletes. They're out there, they're ready to try out for sports, play hard and practice."

Tori Spelling’s show will focus on marriage

Tori Spelling's new reality TV show, 'True Tori,' will focus on her marriage troubles.
The 40-year-old actress, whose husband Dean McDermott checked into rehab for personal issues in January after he was accused of cheating on the former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star, began filming a six-episode Lifetime series in Los Angeles on Monday (31.03.14) and, according to the official press release, she "has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life."
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "There's no telling yet how the show will pan out and how much drama there will be since they literally just started filming this morning."
Another insider told PEOPLE.com: "She once said she would never split up her family, and she seems to mean it. However, after the latest cheating rumors, Tori must have put her foot down. She likely gave him an ultimatum."
The show is set to premiere in the US on April 22.
Tori and Dean have four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and 18-month-old Finn, but a source recently admitted the star isn't sure whether she can save her marriage.
The insider said: "Tori keeps waffling. Even if they reconcile, it's going to be hard to trust him," but added: "Tori doesn't want her kids to grow up without their dad in the house."

Ray Winstone isn’t a tough guy at home

Ray Winstone claims his wife would leave him if he ever came home in character.
The 'Noah' star, known for taking on mostly "tough guy" roles, first met his partner Elaine in 1979, while filming 'That Summer,' and credits her for helping him to relax after a tough day of filming.
Asked about how he gets out of character, the 57-year-old British actor told BANG Showbiz at the UK premiere of the new biblical epic at the Odeon in London's Leicester Square on Monday night (31.03.14): "Every job is a different job and I think I approach it in a different way. I don't take it home with me because the characters I play, I wouldn't be married very long if I did. What I like to do is laugh, if I'm playing a bit I like to laugh a lot and take it right down there."
The 'Snow White and the Huntsman' actor had no problem growing a beard for the movie, as he likes to sport a more dishevelled look when he has time off, but was relieved to finally shave it off afterwards.
He said: "When I'm not working I grow a beard anyway. The only false bits on it were the two prongs. I had that for about four months. I felt like an old rock."
Other stars on the red carpet for the screening included Emma Watson, Russell Crowe, Douglas Booth, Jennifer Connelly, director Darren Aronofsky and former 'Made in Chelsea' star Kimberley Garner.
