Scarlett Johansson: Easier To Date Non-Famous Men

Scarlett Johanasson finds it easier to date someone who isn't famous.
The 29-year-old actress - who was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 until 2011 - believes her relationship with her journalist fiancé Romain Dauriac works well because they don't have "conflicting schedules".
Speaking in May's issue of Vanity Fair magazine, she said: "It is [easier to be with someone who isn't famous], but it's more than that we do different things. He's [Romain] in the whole art-scene world. So it's nice, because we can enjoy each other's worlds, but we don't have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with."
Meanwhile, the 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star, who is expecting her first child with Romain, recently admitted she was in no hurry to tie the knot and will probably "wing it" on her big day.
She said previously: "I don't plan anything. I'm terrible at planning. Yeah, I'm not gonna plan anything - I like to wing it!"
Although, the blonde beauty, who recently moved to Paris, France, with Romain, is already enjoying domestic bliss and loves cooking at home, but admits she still needs to work on her culinary skills.
She said last month: "I cook, but I'm no pro. I was making a white chicken chilli and I had to let it reduce for a little while, so I was like, 'Let's go build a snowman while we wait.' I got a little carried away ... Three hours later, I was like, 'Oh no, the chilli!' I went back inside and the house was covered in smoke."

Christina Hendricks caused motorbike crash

Christina Hendricks caused a man to crash his motorbike.
The 38-year-old actress has proved her good looks can be deemed deadly after she admitted a gentleman couldn't take his eyes off her and ended up smashing into the curb.
When asked how men react to her beauty, she told Conan O'Brien on 'Conan Monday': "I had one incident, but this was years ago. It was summer and I'd just gone out and bought this little wispy, white summer dress, and I was going out to meet my friends at a British pub, and my friend Louis was waiting for me outside.
"This guy was riding a bike by and he starts staring at me. Louis is watching it from a distance and he said the whole thing went in slow-mo. The guy just hit the curb and flew off his bike into the street. But this was one incident!"
Meanwhile, the 'Mad Men' star recently admitted that she struggles to deal with all the attention she gets and has to remind herself regularly to pretend she knows the people.
She said previously: "Just walk down the hall and try to imagine that you everyone is looking at you."

Rachel Stevens names daughter Minnie Blossom Bourne

Rachel Stevens has named her daughter Minnie Blossom Bourne.
The 35-year-old star and her husband Alex Bourne welcomed their second child into the world last Tuesday (01.04.14), and the proud parents have finally announced the tiny tot's moniker.
Taking to her Twitter account earlier today (08.04.14), Rachel posted a picture of her, Alex, their three-year-old daughter Amelie and Minnie all face-down on the bed with their feet on show.
She accompanied the black and white shot with the caption: "Introducing Miss Minnie Blossom Bourne. The pitter patter of (tiny) feet all 8 of them! Bursting with love xx (sic)".
Alex was the first to announce Minnie, who weighed 7lbs 7oz, had arrived "safely" into the world last week.
He tweeted: "Delighted to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous little girl! @MsRachelStevens and baby both really well. Amelie happy and 'cited (sic)".
The couple, who got married in 2009, later released a statement saying: "We're so happy that baby has arrived safely. Within minutes of meeting her we were totally smitten.
"Amelie is happy and excited to have a little sister to play with and we can't wait to introduce her to the whole family."
The former S Club 7 singer announced she was pregnant with her second child back in September and, although she was aware she was expecting a girl, she kept the baby's sex a secret from the public until her arrival.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West face French law wedding dilemma

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have to cancel their wedding.
The couple are set to tie the knot in Paris on May 24, but they may have to reschedule their big day after discovering the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get married in the country.
The French Embassy in Washington D.C told RadarOnline: "All marriages must be performed by a French civil authority before any religious ceremony takes place.
"The mayor can authorise the deputy mayor or a city councillor to perform the ceremony in the town in which one of the parties to be married has resided for at least 40 days preceding the marriage.
"These requirements cannot be waived."
The 36-year-old rapper reportedly has an apartment in the French capital but he doesn't live there full-time as he currently resides in California with Kim, 33.
Meanwhile, the couple - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - were keen for their wedding day to be an experience their 200 guests will never forget, so they have hired out the Trianon Palace Hotel for them to stay in.
A source said previously: "Guests will be greeted with goodie bags containing £300 bottles of Bollinger champagne, £120 Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye's initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scent from local perfumeries and £150 vouchers for treatments at the hotel spa."

Carson Daly won’t miss ‘a minute’ of baby’s birth

Carson Daly is adamant he won't miss "a minute" of his baby's birth.
The 'Voice' host is expecting his third child with his fiancée Siri Pinter and he'll be ready for when the tiny tot enters the world in August because his family are his priority.
He told People.com: "My family's the most important thing. I'm not missing a minute of the birth of my kid. Family first."
The 40-year-old hunk admits Siri, 32, hasn't been experiencing any pregnancy cravings as of yet, but he'll be prepared for when her food desires kick in.
He explained: "I'll be happy to get up and go get some pickles at three in the morning if I have to do an interview on the 'Today Show' at five in the morning."
However, Siri - who also has son Jack, five, and daughter Etta, 19 months, with Carson - recently admitted she hasn't been able to stop eating recently.
She said previously: "I'm pregnant! Carson and I are expecting our third child in mid-August and he, Jack, Etta and I are so happy. Well, as far as I can tell Etta is happy (she thinks the baby lives in my breasts).
"I'm about halfway there, feeling pretty great, and eating enough for five. Is that how it works? Are you supposed to eat for every member of your family, including the baby in your belly?
"Just say yes and make me feel better about life."

Oscar Pistorious cried over Reeva Steenkamp’s body

Oscar Pistorius has told how he cried over the body of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The Paralympian took to the stand for the second time today (08.04.14) as he told the court of the moments before and after he shot his girlfriend dead and how he broke down when he realised what he'd done.
Speaking about the moment he realised she wasn't in bed, he said: "I ran straight up to the [toilet] door and started hitting it ... I tried to open the door from inside. I unlocked the door. I saw Reeva and sat over her and cried. I don't know how long I was there for.
"She wasn't breathing."
The 27-year-old sprinter - who claims he didn't have his prosthetic legs on during the incident - denies the intentional killing of Reeva, 29, instead insisting he shot her after mistaking her for an intruder.
He explained: "I heard the window opening in the bathroom. That is the moment that everything changed. I thought a burglar was gaining entry into my home.
"The first thing that ran through my mind was that I needed to protect Reeva and myself.
"I could not see anything in the room ... I made my way along the bed and grabbed my firearm. I took off the canvas holster of my firearm.
"As I entered the passageway leading to the bathroom I felt fear and started screaming [at the intruders] to get out. I slowly made my way down the passage constantly aware that these people may come at me at any time.
"Just before I got to the bathroom I heard a door slam. It could only have been the toilet door. It confirmed that there was a person or people inside the bathroom at that time."
After firing four shots through the toilet door, Oscar claims he ran back to his bedroom on his stumps to see if Reeva had called for the police and he described the moment he realised she was no longer there.
He said: "I lifted myself up to the bed and placed my hand to the right hand side of the bed and I felt if Reeva was there and I couldn't feel anything.
"It was at that point it first dawned on me that it could be Reeva inside the toilet."
The trial continues.

Police didn’t find suicide note from Peaches Geldolf

Peaches Geldof did not leave a suicide note at her home where her body was found.
The young star - who has two young sons, Astala and Phaedra, with her husband Tom Cohen - tragically passed away at her home in Kent, South East England, yesterday (07.04.14) at the age of 25 and her death is being treated as "unexplained".
Police claim she didn't leave a suicide note, they also insist there has been no evidence supporting the use of hard drugs.
A post-mortem examination on Peaches will be carried out on Wednesday (09.04.14) at a Kent hospital by a Home Office pathologist Dr Peter Graham Jerreat and the need for an inquest will be down to the results of this.
Earlier today, Fifi Geldof paid tribute to her late sister and shared her heartbreak over the death of the young star.
The 31-year-old star posted an old family picture of herself and Peaches as children and captioned it: "My beautiful baby sister ... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x (sic)"
Fifi and Peaches are the daughters of Boomtown Rats legend Bob and late TV presenter Paula Yates. They have a younger sister, Pixie, 23, and a half-sister, Tiger Lily, who is Paula's daughter with deceased INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.
Bob who is mourning the loss of Peaches claims the "wittiest and the most bonkers" of his children has been taken from the world.
In a statement, the 62-year-old Irish musician said: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child.
"How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever.
"How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

Scarlett Johansson ‘insulted’ by ScarJo nickname

Scarlett Johansson feels "insulted" by the name 'ScarJo'.
The 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star thinks the nickname given to her in the media makes her sound like a "tacky pop star" - such as Jennifer Lopez, who is considered to have started the trend with her title J.Lo - and is "insulting" to her as a serious actress.
Scarlett told the May issue of Glamour Magazine: "I associate that name with, like, pop stars. It sounds tacky. It's lazy and flippant. There's something insulting about it."
The 29-year-old actress claims she is also irritated by the media's obsession with how she looks and thinks it is completely unfair because it is something male actors don't have to endure.
Scarlett fumed: "Actresses get stupid questions asked of them all the time, like, 'How do you stay sexy?' or 'What's your sexiest quality?' All these ridiculous things you would never ask a man."
Scarlett's complaint didn't stop there as she expressed her disappointment at not being recognised by the media for her entire body of work and not just her breakout role 'Lost in Translation' in 2003.
She said: "When I made 'Lost in Translation', I was 17. Now I'm 29 ... That's a normal side effect of being a young actor.
'You're captured in a certain time of your life, and it's hard for people to move past that."

Miley Cyrus felt ‘free’ after Liam Hemsworth split

Miley Cyrus has felt "free" since splitting from Liam Hemsworth.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer has confessed that although she found it difficult to deal with her engagement to 'The Hunger Games' actor being called off last year, she now feels a lot stronger, as she did when she got over her departure from Disney.
She said: "When I went through a really intense breakup - you know, I was engaged - and when I was with him or when I was on Disney, the thing that gave me the most anxiety was not knowing what to do with myself when Disney wasn't there to carry me any more or if I didn't have him. And now I'm free of both of those things, and I'm fine.
"Like I lay in bed at night by myself and I'm totally OK, and that's so much stronger than the person three years ago, who would have thought they would have died if they didn't have a boyfriend."
The former 'Hannah Montana' star has admitted that although she often wished she could have started her solo career without being known as a Disney actress, she is "thankful" of what it's helped her achieve and is glad it didn't make her "crazy".
She told the latest issue of Elle magazine: "I got the most intense training. There's times where I wish I could have just started as a new artist, but the world has kind of allowed me to do that. I feel really lucky - a lot of kid stars get all crazy or stuck in what they were, so they can't actually become what they're meant to be."

Beyoncé: Women should own their sexuality

Beyoncé believes women should "own" their sexuality.
The 32-year-old singer is noticeably more risqué and sexually suggestive on her latest album, 'BEYONCE', and she wants to challenge "double standards" that allow men to freely express their sexuality, but scold women for doing the same.
She explained: "I'd like to believe that my music opened up that conversation. There is unbelievable power in ownership, and women should own their sexuality.
"There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persists. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy. The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims. Women are so much more than that. You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist - whatever you want to be - and still be a sexual being. It's not mutually exclusive."
The 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker - who is married to Jay Z and shares two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with the rapper - says she had a "feminist mentality" while recording the album, but is glad her songs have resonated with other minorities, such as her gay and lesbian fan base.
She enthused to Out magazine: "I'm very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority. We are all the same and we all want the same things - the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love."

Queen Elizabeth’s speech delayed

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has had her annual parliamentary speech delayed by 24 hours.
The monarch's address to set out the Government's programme for the new parliamentary session will take place on Wednesday June 4, a day later than planned due to a planned G7 summit in Brussels, Belgium.
Leader of the Commons Andrew Lansley said in a statement: "The date will better facilitate arrangements for the ceremony and other events that week including the now planned G7 summit in Brussels, Belgium."
The speech was believed to have already been delayed once, having originally been pencilled in for May.
The day after making her address, the queen and her husband Prince Philip will travel to France to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The G7 summit was called last month following the abandonment of a planned G8 summit in Russia.
Leaders from the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan will meet without Russia for the first time since they joined the group in 1998 in protest over the annexation of Crimea, saying the country's actions were
not consistent with the "shared beliefs and shared responsibilities" of the G8.
A joint statement added: "We remain ready to intensify actions including co-ordinated sectoral sanctions that will have an increasingly significant impact on the Russian economy, if Russia continues to escalate this situation."

Damon Albarn to make album with Noel Gallagher?

Damon Albarn has discussed making an album with Noel Gallagher.
The Blur frontman, who will release his debut solo album this month, has revealed that making a record with the Oasis guitarist is a "distinct possibility" in the future and they have talked about it "at least once."
Speaking to NME magazine, Damon said: "I still see Noel from time to time. We text a bit."
When asked if the pair would be making a record together, he replied: "I can imagine that being a very distinct possibility at some point in the future. But, as yet we haven't really talked about it, although ... okay we have a little bit. We're talking. It's not anything to get excited about yet. I mean, he's doing his thing. He's finishing a new record.
"I've got my record coming out, but the principle of us making music together is something ... you know, it would be fair to say, we have discussed it at least once."
Last year, the pair put two decades of Britpop tension behind them to perform together at London's Royal Albert Hall for a Teenage Cancer Trust gig.
Damon will release his solo album 'Everyday Robots' on April 28.
