Jennifer Aniston bringing ‘Friends’ to Broadway?

Jennifer Aniston wants to bring 'Friends' to Broadway.
The 45-year-old actress is reportedly in "deep talks" to help turn the sitcom, which ran from 1994 until 2004, into a "billion dollar" musical, starring Lea Michele, and wants her friend Sheryl Crow to oversee the project.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Jen has completely fallen in love with the idea of a Broadway-ready 'Friends' musical.
"It's even gotten to the point where she's had some deep talks with her friend Sheryl Crow about creating '90s style music for the project, which of course would feature an entirely new crop of actors playing young versions of the now 40-something 'Friends' stars."
The insider added: "Jen has told friends that 'Glee' singing powerhouse Lea Michele would make the perfect Rachel in this project, and it simply becomes a matter of convincing Jen's good friend, Warner Bros. executive Peter Roth, of the viability of the idea.
"The show's creators can actually be bypassed if Jen can get the studio on-board.
"Jen thinks the whole idea is hilarious and too fun to pass up, and she also jokingly refers to it as her 'billion dollar idea.' "
Jennifer previously poured cold water on rumours she and her former cast mates, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, were thinking about starring in a 'Friends' film.
She said: "I can't imagine how you would do it. It's not normal. 'Friends' is in your living room; 'Friends' is not in a movie theatre. It doesn't make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self."

The Maroon 5 frontman thinks the 'Happy' hitmaker, who recently confirmed he would be replacing CeeLo Green on the NBC series next season, will be a great addition to the judging panel.
The 35-year-old singer told The Hollywood Reporter: "I think he'll be a great coach. It's a different experience, so he has to get ready for the roller coaster."
The 'Love Somebody' hitmaker added: "He's so lovely -- an unbelievable talent actually."

'Forget You' singer CeeLo, 39, announced last month that he wouldn't be returning to the show again, as he is developing his own TV show.
He said: "I'm not coming back guys. I'm going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them as well and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year.
"But yeah, I'm going to miss 'The Voice' too. So I'm not coming back guys."

Kourtney Kardashian’s kids were too sick

Kourtney Kardashian's kids were too sick to go to Thailand.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, 34, and her partner Scott Disick, 30, were forced to pull out of her family's recent trip to Phuket because their children, Mason, four, and Penelope, 19 months, "came down with a cold."
A source told E! News that the children "were too sick to fly" from Los Angeles to South East Asia with Kourtney's mother Kris Jenner, sisters Kim and Khloe, half-sisters Kendall and Kyle Jenner, step-dad Bruce Jenner, and his sons Brody and Brandon, who was joined by his wife Leah.
But the couple enjoyed a "mini-getaway" to nearby Santa Barbara while the rest of the family soaked up the sun in Thailand.
The source also dismissed speculation that Kris and Bruce, who announced they were separating after 22 years of marriage in October, are back together after they were spotted holding hands at LAX airport on Wednesday (02.04.14), and insisted they are just "friends."
Bruce, 64, decided to move into his house in Malibu following the split while Kris, 58, stayed in their family home in Calabasas.

Theo James predicted he would be labelled 'the new' Robert Pattinson.
The 'Divergent' star says comparisons with the 'Twilight Saga' hunk, 27, are "inevitable," but he would prefer to be in the same league as George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Asked about the 'Water for Elephants' star, the 29-year-old actor joked: "I'd never heard that [comparison] before."
He added: "I'd heard Brad Pitt, Clooney, any legend... Inevitably there's going to be comparisons, we're both British, brown hair."
Meanwhile, his co-star Shailene Woodley doesn't mind being measured against 'The Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence and considers the Oscar-winner, 23, a close friend, even though they have yet to meet.
She told Yahoo! Lifestyle UK: "She's given me advice - I still have yet to meet her. She told me to go for the role if I believed in the character and the storyline."
But the 22-year-old brunette beauty is determined to focus on her own career and insists she doesn't feel under pressure to be a role model.
She said: "We don't read articles about ourselves and we don't Google ourselves - we feel removed from that. I don't feel any pressure to be anything but me."

Rita Ora has moved ‘onwards and upwards’

Rita Ora has moved "onwards and upwards" since splitting from Rob Kardashian.
The 'How We Do' hitmaker, who recently admitted her current boyfriend Calvin Harris is her first love, insists she has changed and evolved since ending her relationship with the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star in late 2012.
Asked about Rob by Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O on Friday (04.04.14), the 23-year-old British singer initially tried to avoid talking about him and said: "I've got no idea what you're talking about."
But she then continued: "Onwards and upwards, guys. Honestly, there's a place and time for everything and people change and evolve. I think time will tell really and you've just got to keep the train moving forward."
Rita and Rob were inseparable during the summer of 2012 but he accused her of cheating on him "with nearly 20 dudes" after they split that December.
The 27-year-old reality TV star is reportedly suffering from depression after gaining 60 pounds following their ugly split.
Earlier this week he hinted that he still isn't over the blonde beauty by posting a cryptic message on Twitter just hours after she hit the headlines for saying that she had never "experienced" love before she started dating Scottish DJ Calvin, 30, last May.
He tweeted: "No one will ever understand how much it hurts."

Kylie Minogue gets staff to approve dates

Kylie Minogue is very careful about who she dates.
The 'Sexercise' hitmaker, who split from Andres Velencoso last year after five years together, has revealed she gets her staff to meet any potential suitors before she agrees to go out with them.
The 45-year-old star told the UK's 'The Graham Norton Show' on Friday (04.04.14): "I work a lot and I have a team, my people, and there are a few whispers down the corridor and it's stuff like that. It's not vetting, but you kind of have to have your eyes open."
She added: "It's as awkward for me as it is for anyone."
The Australian star appeared on the BBC chat show alongside Russell Crowe and Cameron Diaz, who is also careful when it comes to romance.
The 'The Other Woman' star, who was previously in long-term relationships with Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Matt Dillon, said: "I try to keep everything discreet until I figure out whether or not it's something I want to take into the world in any way."
Kylie recently admitted she cried herself to sleep every night after splitting from Andres.
But she added: "Thankfully, Andres and I are still in touch. Obviously, not like we used to be... he's a great guy, and that's important ... I'm enjoying that I'm so distracted. I'm not sitting at home pining."

Man arrested at Selena Gomez’ house

A man was arrested for allegedly trespassing on Selena Gomez's property on Friday morning (04.04.14).
Police officers swarmed the 'Come & Get It' hitmaker's new home in Calabasas, California after receiving a 911 call.
Law enforcement sources told gossip website TMZ.com that they rushed to the scene because a "suspicious person" was spotted jumping a fence into the 21-year-old star's garden.
The suspect was later detained and questioned before being arrested.
It's not known if Selena was at home during the incident, which came less than a week after a 21-year-old man was charged for burglary and trespassing at her house.
The brunette beauty and a friend called police on Sunday night (31.03.14) after they heard a strange noise at the five-bedroom mansion, which she only purchased a few weeks ago.
A man then rang the front doorbell and asked if the 'Spring Breakers' actress was at home, but her friend claimed she wasn't and he left.
When officers from the Malibu/Lost Hills department arrived a short time later, they found the man had broken into the star's guesthouse.
He was arrested and held on $50,000 bail, but it is not known if he is still in custody.
Selena has had a number of issues with intruders in the past.
Juan Garcia was recently sentenced to 120 days in Los Angeles County Jail for trespassing at her old house in Tarzana, California in January, while Thomas Brodnicki, 46, was ordered to stay away from her in 2011 after repeatedly talking about killing her while under psychiatric hold.

James Franco apologises for hitting on fan

The 35-year-old actor has apologised for contacting Scottish student Lucy Corde via Instagram and trying to arrange to meet her in a New York City hotel after she caught his eye outside a theatre on Broadway.
The 'Of Men of Mice' star told 'Live! With Kelly and Michael' on Friday (04.04.14): "I'm embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky. It's the way that people meet each other today, but what I've learned -- I guess because I'm new to it -- is you don't know who's on the other end."
He added: "You get a feel for them, you don't know who you're talking to. I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson."
Photos emerged of an exchange between the 'Spiderman' star and the teenager, who is holidaying in Manhattan with her mother, on Thursday (03.04.14), in which he asked her, "What's the hotel? Should I rent a room?"
James claims it was an honest mistake and added: "Unfortunately in my position, not only do I have to go through the embarrassing rituals of meeting someone, but if I do that, then it gets published for the world so it's doubly embarrassing."

Lindsay Lohan bonds with half-brother

Lindsay Lohan has "bonded" with her baby half-brother.
The actress' father, Michael Lohan, has revealed the 'Mean Girls' star, who previously insisted she wanted nothing to do with her half-siblings, recently met his 14-month-old son, Landon, with girlfriend Kate Major, in New York City for the first time.
The showbiz patriarch, who also has three other children, Aliana, Michael and Cody with Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan, told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "All of my kids got to meet Landon. It was a great experience for me and Landon and I think them too."
He added: "Ali was the most amazing, but Lindsay bonded with him and so did my other children."
The 27-year-old actress vowed never to have a relationship with the tot or Michael's other teenage daughter, Ashley Horn, when her father broached the subject on her self-titled OWN reality show.
She said: "I don't want to talk about your two [other] random f***ing kids. They're not part of my family and they never will be."
In November 2012 a paternity test confirmed that Michael had an affair when he was still married to Dina and fathered Ashley, who was said to be devastated to learn that Lindsay wanted nothing to do with her.
A source said at the time: "While Ashley can't stand Michael, she thought Lindsay would be kinder to her. She says the Lohans are trash and wants nothing to do with them but the truth is she is really hurt by Lindsay's attitude."

Emily Blunt's pregnancy was "the coolest thing that's ever happened" to her.
The British actress, who welcomed her first child, Hazel, with husband John Krasinski into the world in February, took a "non-fuss, non-intense" approach to preparing for parenthood and embraced the opportunity to indulge on gluten-free cookies.
The 'Devil Wears Prada' star, 31, told the April issue of Vogue magazine, shortly before giving birth: "It's really the coolest thing that's ever happened to me. I feel good, although I do wake up feeling like my grandmother."
She added: "I sleep with a fortress of pillows around me. I've got one of those huge C-shaped ones. My husband calls it Gary."
Asked about her craving for cookies, she said: "I know everyone rolls their eyes, but I met a hippie doctor who suggested it, and it's really helped me in the pregnancy."
Emily also decided not to read anything about delivering her daughter before the birth in Los Angeles.
She explained: "Everyone says don't go online and read as few books as you possibly can."
The brunette beauty and John, 34, announced their baby's birth via Twitter almost two months ago.
The proud new dad tweeted: "Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday! (sic)"
