Kings of Leon make raunchy endorsement offer

Kings of Leon want to endorse lubricant.
The US rockers are always surprised they were never asked to lend their single 'Sex on Fire' to a commercial for STD treatments, and though they "think" they would say no if asked, they would give more consideration to an appropriate sex aid.
Caleb Followill said: "A lot of people have wondered when it [an STD ad] was going to happen, but it hasn't happened yet. You would think we'd say no, but no one's asked..."
Jared Followill added: "Maybe someone should do an intense KY gel. Like a warming lube. That would work."
In 2008, the 'Bucket' hitmakers headlined the famous Glastonbury festival and while they were nervous because of the huge scale of the show, Nathan Followill admits he felt anxious after learning two members of girl group All Saints would be watching.
He said: "There was a girl group back then called ll Saints and I fancied two of them. Our manager said, 'A couple of girls from All Saints are going to be side of stage tonight.' I was so nervous, 'What if it's the two I liked?' "
However, Nathan had nothing to fear as he had misunderstood the message, much to his disappointment.
He added to Q magazine: "It was actually girls from All Saints clothing shop! I was giving it all, rocking out, thinking the girls from All Saints are watching, but it was actually the girls from the shop."

Jo Wood: Mick Jagger will recover

Jo Wood says Sir Mick Jagger will recover from L'Wren Scott's suicide.
The star - who divorced Mick's Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood in 2009 - has said he will be able to "get over" the tragic death of his long-term girlfriend.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Of course he'll get over it, you learn to live with it."
Meanwhile, it is said the iconic rock 'n' roll star is devastated after the fashion designer took her own life and he is removing all reminders of her from the home they shared.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, a source said: "Mick is so distraught and he is just having any little keepsakes removed. He can't bear seeing her clothes or the photos of them together.
"He feels so let down by her and really believes there must be something he could have done to help her. He is devastated and really struggling to cope."
L'Wren's sister Jan Shane has also recently thanked Mick for "sharing" her ashes with her family.
She said: "I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Mick's kind gesture of sharing the ashes.
"It's especially pleasing to know her ashes will be buried net to mum and dad because L'Wren was so close to them."

Chris Martin hoping to fix marriage?

Chris Martin hopes he and Gwyneth Paltrow can "rediscover" their love for one another.
The Coldplay singer - whose split from the actress was announced on Tuesday (25.03.14) - is said to be keen to work on their relationship in an attempt to save their 10-year marriage.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Chris still loves Gwyneth and would still like the marriage to survive.
"He hopes they might be able to rediscover what they had years ago and would love to rebuild their relationship back to what it once was."
It has also emerged that the two former lovers plan to live in their Miami home, but in separate wings.
Meanwhile, the pair were spotted having dinner with friends just days after announcing their split.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, an insider said: "You would never have guessed they had just split up. They looked like they were getting on OK, but perhaps it was a little strained.
"Chris seemed in good form and was telling lots of jokes. Gwyneth pulled a few faces but it was all in good spirits."

Kylie Minogue isn’t ‘naturally committed’

Kylie Minogue struggles with "commitment".
The 'I Should Be So Lucky' singer - who broke up with her boyfriend of five years, Andres Velencoso, last year - has admitted she doesn't like the idea of "being boxed into anything", preferring to have her freedom.
She is quoted in The Sun on Sunday newspaper as saying: "I am not the greatest with commitment.
"I don't like being boxed into anything - thoughts, clothes, being told what you are meant to do. I'm not the most naturally committed person."
Kylie revealed she broke off her romance with Andres after having an "epiphany".
She explained: "I had a true epiphany. I had a vision of a horizon with nothing on it.
"Our lives never have nothing on the horizon, there is always something you are looking forward to or dreading, but there was nothing there.
"I felt very calm and knew in that moment that I needed a new landscape."
Kylie also admitted she still finds it tough to talk about breast cancer - after getting the disease in 2005 and then undergoing successful treatment - and described it as "the complete unknown".
Speaking on Norwegian TV, she said: "I find it difficult. I can't talk about it for fives minutes and then it is done.
"It's a huge experience that does go on ... You don't want to have that experience but your life is richer because your body has gone through terror.
"I'd never experienced that - the complete unknown."

Jasmine Waltz: Lee Ryan ‘is a 100 per cent screw-up’

Jasmine Waltz says Lee Ryan is a "100 per cent screw up".
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star has claimed she dumped the Blue singer - who she had a fling with after they met on the reality TV show - because it was "emotionally draining".
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Lee is a 100 per cent screw-up mentally.
"He told me he loved me and wanted to marry me. But behind the candelabra everything about this life is bad .... Being in a relationship with him was emotionally draining.
"I couldn't get a word in edgeways as he talked about how his career was on the rise."
The 31-year-old actress claimed Lee "needs to get help", insisting he has delusions about his band's success.
She added: "Lee genuinely thinks Blue are Number 1 in the charts, are as big as One Direction and he has the appeal of Harry Styles.
"He cannot accept his career is going nowhere. It is tearing him apart and he needs to get help."
However, Jasmine suggested that "deep down" he is more honest with himself.
She said: "Deep down he knows his career is pretty much over and he is lashing out.
"Blue know it is over. They want to keep touring, but have no label."

Michelle Collins opens up on suicide attempt

Michelle Collins tried to kill herself after being "tipped over the edge" by personal and professional problems.
The soap star - who had quit 'EastEnders' in 1998 and split from partner Fabrizio Tassalini - "felt like a failure" and took an overdose of pills as she plunged into depression.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I felt like I'd been tipped over the edge.
"I felt like a failure and fund myself sinking lower and lower as the days went on, until in the end I couldn't seem to pull myself out of the hole.
"I remember swallowing some pills. There was no definite plan or explicit decision behind my actions. It just happened."
The actress - who now stars in 'Coronation Street' - admitted she "foolishly" thought nobody would miss her and described her state of mind at the time as "unthinkable".
She added: "The question that kept going through my mind was, 'Would anybody miss me if I wasn't here?' Foolishly I somehow decided no one would.
"When i think about what I did now it all sounds very melodramatic, but I guess that's the nature of depression. How low must I have been to do something like that? It was unthinkable."

EastEnders star Ricky Norwood caught up in racy video drama

'EastEnders' star Ricky Norwood has to face BBC bosses after he was seen in a racy video smoking marijuana.
The 28-year-old actor - who plays Fatboy in the soap - has been called into a meeting after it emerged the eight and a half minute film was being touted for sale to an x-rated website.
The video is said to show Ricky naked performing a sex act as he smokes marijuana.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, an insider revealed; "He's being hauled in on Monday so we can get to the bottom of this. Nobody's happy about it - he's let himself and the show down."
A spokeswoman for 'EastEnders' has confirmed they will hold a "meeting" with Ricky but insisted they couldn't say any more "at this stage".
She said: "We will be meeting with Ricky early next week to discuss this matter. We are unable to comment any further at this stage."
Meanwhile, his appearance in the online video is described as "incredibly reckless" given that he is seen as a role model on the family show.
A source added: "'EastEnders' is a family soap and the bosses don't tolerate any of this sort of behaviour.
"This is incredibly reckless by Ricky given his position on a BBC family soap. He's seen as a role model.
"It's made very clear to cast members that they have to behave, especially when it comes to sex and drugs."

Kylie Minogue: Sex songs are a coincidence

Kylie Minogue claims it's a coincidence her new album references sex so much.
The 'Wow' singer's latest musical offering 'Kiss Me Once' might boast three kinkily titled tracks - 'Sexy Love', 'Sexercise' and 'Les Sex' - but she insists she has other hobbies and the naming was pure chance.
Teased that her new album made her seem sex-obsessed, she insisted on French TV show 'Le Grand Journal' on Canal Plus: "No, I also like sunsets, I like music, I like talking... but I also happen to have three titles with the word sex in them. It actually is a coincidence!"
A red-faced Kylie also apologised to the crowd and hung her head when she mentioned the incorrect grammar of one of the new songs' title.
She added: "I have to apologise to all French speaking people because the song ['Les Sex'] is incorrect, it's very bad French."
Last year, the 45-year-old star surprised the world by becoming Jay-Z's new musical protégée after singing to his label Roc Nation - which boasts artists like Rita Ora and Rihanna on its books - and she feels the move was a positive decision.
Kylie said: "I celebrated my 25 years in the music industry in 2012 and at the end of that year I had an epiphany that I needed some change and obviously I'm going to keep singing, but there was a new energy, a new dynamic, so I changed teams and it's been very interesting."
Although her raunchy new 'Sexercise' music video has caused controversy, with fans likening it to "soft porn", Kylie feels it's important to keep up with the times and continue reinventing herself.
She laughed: "My hair has definitely changed [since the start of my career]! I guess pop music is a reflection of what's happening at the time. I hope I've moved with the times but I've always kept a sense of who I am. There's a line and I try to stay close to it."

Scarlett Johansson teases ‘complex’ Avengers sequel

Scarlett Johansson says 'The Avengers' sequel is even more "complex" than the first film.
The actress is returning as Marvel character the Black Widow in the superhero team-up movie, 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' next year, and hinted Joss Whedon's movie is likely to be one of his best yet.
She teased: "Joss Whedon, who is coming back for 'Avengers 2', has got his finger prints all over that project, certainly just as much as he did with 'Avengers', if not even more. He's in a place now where most directors would be extremely burdened by the task of having to top the last one.
"But for some reason, I think the universe is working in the right way for him. Joss seems extremely focused and he's in some ways less jaded. He really is in a good place to start this movie.
"He's crafted an even more complex and cerebral story this time around while still giving the fans those superhero elements that they love, the little Easter eggs, the explosions and the surprises, the little wink to the audience. He's got a very dry sense of humour as a person and as a writer. "
Johansson is confident fans of the franchise won't be disappointed with the results thanks to Whedon's "exciting" script.
She added in an interview with French website AlloCiné: "The irony is not lost on him. These characters are still in a completely bizarre set of circumstances, they're totally aware of what a strange team of misfits they are. It's pretty exciting I think the fans will not be disappointed. Unless we mess it up, which is always a possibility!"

Robin Thicke getting advice from dad

Robin Thicke's dad is giving him marriage advice.
'Growing Pains' actor Alan Thicke- himself twice divorced - is helping coach his 'Blurred Lines' singer son in how to win wife Paula Patton back following their separation last month after eight years of marriage.
A source said: "Robin's convinced that his smooth-talking dad - despite his own chequered romantic history - could help him win back his wife."
Alan is said to have a close bond with Paula, who has three-year-old son Julian with Robin, and has been trying to talk her around.
The source added: "Paula adores Alan and he adores her. He admitted he made a mess of his own love life and caused pain for his family with divorces.
"But he told Paula he believes she and Robin have the strength to get through this and save their union."
Alan was previously married to Robin's mother, Gloria Loring, in 1970 but they divorced when their son was nine. He the went on to marry Gina Tolleson and they had a son together, Carter, but they split in 1999, and the actor wants his eldest son to learn form his mistakes.
The source told National Enquirer magazine: "It's ironic that Alan's playing marriage counsellor. But he doesn't want his son to make the same mistakes he made."

Neil Patrick Harris on emotional finale

Neil Patrick Harris says Cristin Milioti made him cry with her performance in the finale of 'How I Met Your Mother'.
The sitcom is coming to an end after nine series at the end of March in the US and Neil - who plays ladies man Barney Stinson in the show - said the final scenes stirred strong emotions with him.
He said: "We never talked about the end. Josh Radnor has never been funnier and Cristin Milioti made me cry."
Neil, 40, also admitted he'd coerced the show's producers to tell him how the show concludes when he was tipsy.
He added: "After, like, five drinks, I cornered our producers at our Christmas party and said, 'Spill the beans. Tell me how it all ends.' And they did. It' more complicated than you'd assume. Fans won't be disappointed."
The star - who has twins Harper and Gideon, three, with his partner David Burtka - also added his favourite moment was when Barney and Robin, Cobie Smulders' character, married.
He added to Us Weekly magazine: "Saying my vows with Robin [was my favourite]. This whole season has been great, spending time with Cobie and to appreciate the wedding."

Kristin Cavallari kept old shoes

Kristin Cavallari still has the first pair of Christian Louboutin heels she bought when she was a teenager.
The 27-year-old former 'Hills' star - who is expecting her second child with husband Jay Cutler - cherishes her first pair of the designer's shoes as they bring back happy memories for her.
She said: "The oldest thing in my closet is the first pair of Louboutins that I bought when I was 18. I remember being so excited. They are simple, black open toe pumps."
While she's nostalgic for some things she had as a teenager, blonde Kristin - who is already mother to son Camden, 19 months - would rather forget the time she dyed her hair dark.
She added to Life and Style magazine: "A moment I'd like to forget is when I dyed my hair black in high school. It looked awful and ruined my hair. I had to strip my hair and then have it dark brown and slowly work my way back to blonde."
When it comes to style, the fashion designer looks to British model Kate Moss for inspiration because "she always looks so effortless and chic."
