Stefan Dennis says security was increased on the set of 'Neighbours' to protect the identity of Kate Ramsay's killer.
The veteran 'Neighbours' actor - who plays Paul Robinson in the Australian soap - says the cast would get a "rap across the knuckles" if they were careless with the script, and all final copies had to be shredded after filming to prevent anyone from finding out who murdered Paul's niece in the super secretive storyline.
Stefan exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If it's a genuine mistake you would probably get wrapped across the knuckles if they found out you had been careless, but all the scripts at work get taken to the shredders. We have security bins at work, we are not allowed to throw them out at home.
"There is that slight danger of someone going through our rubbish it's happened before. Someone once left there scripts in a car and it got stolen and they had to re-write the entire block. So they are very careful and the security is quite high on the scripts."
Stefan thinks viewers will have a tough time figuring out who Kate's murderer is following her shock death in the episode which aired on Channel 5 last Monday (21.04.14) when she was shot dead and collapsed in the arms of boyfriend Mark Brennan, just after accepting his marriage proposal on her birthday.
He said: "We all knew from the start [who had killed Kate] but in saying that, it's going to be a drawn out process for the next couple of months in quite a clever way, there is going to be a lot of twists and turns. I have to take my hats off to the writers."

Holly Willoughby and Keith Lemon have praised ITV's new breakfast show, 'Good Morning Britain'.
The news programme - which features a quartet of presenters including Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, Charlote Hawkins and Sean Fletcher - got off to a flying start this morning (28.04.14) as it replaced 'Daybreak' in the early morning slot on ITV.
'This Morning' presenter Holly was one of the viewers who awoke extra early to catch a glimpse of former 'BBC Breakfast' star Susanna, 43, on her new show and it seems the blonde beauty was impressed.
She wrote on Twitter: "Good Morning Britain is looking rather lovely... Good morning y'all! Xxx #goodmorningbritain (sic)"
Meanwhile, 'Celebrity Juice' comic Keith was happy to wake up to Susanna and former Sky News presenter Charlotte on TV.
He tweeted: "Enjoying this new morning telly show #GMB some tidy birds. (sic)"
On the first show, Susanna confidently conducted a one-on-one interview with employment minister Esther McVey regarding new benefit laws in Britain, and later she and Ben, 39, welcomed their first celebrity guest, Paul O'Grady, for a chat.
'Good Morning Britain' has earned positive reviews, with some critics likening it to fast-paced morning news show 'Good Morning America' in the US.
The new breakfast show's set is also a drastic change from the sofa-and-coffee table set-up seen on 'Daybreak' as the show's hosts are instead seated around a large glass desk for the majority of the programme.
It seems Susanna, Ben, Sean, 40, and Charlotte, 38, have already hit it off as they finished each other's sentences and quipped about their "chemistry".

Lorde has hit out at "spineless" music critics.
The New Zealand singer has taken to her Tumblr account to post a blog slamming Complex magazine which gave rapper Iggy Azalea a poor review for her new album 'The New Classic', after featuring her on the cover.
Lorde posted: "Bugs me how publications like complex will profile interesting artists in order to sell copies/get clicks and then shit on their records. It happens to me all the time - [music website] Pitchfork and that ilk being like 'can we interview you?' after totally taking the p*ss out of me in a review. (sic)
"Have a stance on an artist and stick to it. Don't act like you respect them then throw them under the bus."
Iggy backed Lorde on Twitter, posting: "I agree @lordemusic media LOVE to flop about, But when you're completely spineless Im sure its hard to stick to even ur own opinion #GoGirl. (sic)"
Complex magazine later responded to Lorde's blog post, explained its reasoning behind the review in a comment piece from associate editor Insanul Ahmed.
He said: "No one should stick to their opinion when new facts (possibly in the form of new music) are made available that can alter your views. Art and artistry are fluid things.
"Celebrities seek attention and media coverage every time they do something great, why would the camera stop rolling when they do something not so great? And even if they do, it isn't meant to be disrespectful - it's meant to be critical."

Beyoncé and Jay Z have announced a joint US tour for later this year.
The 'Drunk In Love' hitmaker and her rapper husband, who have two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together, will kick off their 'On The Run' tour on June 25 in Miami.
Beyoncé took to Facebook to unveil a tour poster today (28.04.14), showing the couple in an embrace wearing black balaclavas, along with ticket details.
The post reads: "#OnTheRunTour This Summer. Exclusive Beyhive pre-sale begins tomorrow (29.04.14) at 8am."
The 32-year-old star and her husband, 44, have collaborated together on a number of occasions and performed on stage at the Grammy Awards earlier this year.
Rumours spread of a joint tour in recent weeks and after the pair wrapped on their own individual tours, with Jay performing 52 dates in support of his 'Magna Carta...Holy Grail' album and Beyoncé concluding her 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour last month.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé's sister Solange praised her work ethic and how she manages to juggle her career with being a wife and mother.
She told ASOS magazine: "I have never seen anything like it in my life, from anyone. It's absolutely insane.
"Now that she's become a mother, and the way that she's able to balance that is so inspiring. If I am ever feeling like I want to open up my mouth and complain about how hard I am working, I think, 'Uhhh! Sit down!'."

One Direction fans were 'crushed' during the band's gig in Peru, leaving 47 young people needing medical attention.
The boyband - made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - stopped performing during the concert and warned the audience they would walk off stage if they didn't stop pushing each other.
Mario Cassareto from the Estadio Nacional stadium told a Peruvian radio station: "We treated 47 children with the first stages of asphyxia. Everything is under control. We have nothing to be ashamed of, we've handled the situation well.
"We put in place a second evacuation plan so that the younger fans were not affected."
He insists venue bosses are working with the police and security companies who were contracted for the show."
Mario added: "It's under control. We are still treating those with symptoms of asphyxia that we pulled from the back. The ministry of health has set up tents."
A video taken from inside the venue shows singer Niall Horan warning the crowd: "If you don't want anyone to take us off the stage, make sure you stay back."
Bandmate Liam Payne added: "Or we'll have to go - and we don't want to go."
It was only the group's second of 69 shows as part of their 'Where We Are' world tour.
The 'Little Things' hitmakers kicked off their tour at the El Campin Stadium in Bogota, Colombia, where 44,000 fans filled the stadium.

Jared Leto is exploring movie roles following the success of 'Dallas Buyers Club'.
The 42-year-old actor - who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of transsexual AIDS victim Rayon - took a six-year break from Hollywood to work on his music career with band 30 Seconds To Mars and is planning to make a comeback following the success of the biographical drama.
Talking to the Associated Press, he explained: "I'm looking at scripts and reading scripts. Which is interesting because I didn't read scripts for years before 'Dallas Buyers Club'.
"But now you have opportunities to work with people that you really respect or admire, people whose work has been inspiring and influential."
Leto is also contemplating helming a film when he has the "right" story to tell.
He enthused: "I think that would be really great. And when I have the right story to tell I'll certainly do that."

James Franco is set to appear in 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'.
The 36-year-old actor starred as Will Rodman in 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and although his character was not set to return for the sequel, director Matt Reeves has now revealed he could make a cameo.
Asked whether unused scenes from the last film were to appear in 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes', he told Collider.com: "There is an appearance that he makes which is not about some ending that they ... there's no reprise of the footage that they shot of his death or anything like that."
Freida Pinto, who starred alongside Franco as Caroline Aranha in the 2011 film will not reprise her role, while Andy Serkis - who stars as Gollum in 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' - will return as the ape Caesar.
Explaining the relevance of Franco's appearance, Reeves said: "Essentially the idea is that Caesar has ties to both communities, to the humans because he has a human father in Will, who died in the viral apocalypse, and then he has the apes who are his family now...
"We felt this movie is so much about his emotional perspective that in order to set that into a framework you needed to refer to essentially his father.
"So, in a way that I won't totally give away, we essentially have a moment where you have Caesar sort of reminiscing or connecting to who Will was and what he meant to him."
Gary Oldman, 'The Americans' actress Keri Russell and Judy Greer will star alongside Andy Serkis in 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes', which is set to be released in July.

Jared Harris wants to take on roles which "scare" himself.
The 'Quiet Ones' actor - who stars opposite Sam Claflin and Olivia Cooke in the horror film - believes it's important to take on a variety of parts because it will help him develop professionally if he steps outside of his comfort zone.
He told collider.com: "I like auditioning, it's important to keep auditioning. Generally speaking if you're auditioning for something, you're auditioning for a role that people can't see you in and you need to convince them that you're the right person. If you only take parts that are offered to you, you end up playing the same roles over and over again. I think it's important to keep auditioning. I think it's important to scare yourself, to take parts that are outside of your comfort zone. That's sort of been my MO for my whole career. I keep trying to change it up."
Harris insists the ratio of auditions and success when auditioning doesn't change.
He added: "The last time I auditioned, I auditioned with Spielberg for the 'Lincoln' movie. I audition for stuff all the time, and what's weird about it is that one's success rate at auditioning doesn't really change. It's sort of at the same ratio of stuff you audition for to things you land."

Tom Hardy wears Sir Elton John's old clothes.
The 36-year-old actor portrays the 'Candle in the Wind' singer in forthcoming biopic 'Rocketman' and has borrowed a number of "bits" from the star in order to better get into character.
He said: "When I play a real person, I like to have bits of them. Since I can't take physical body parts and sever those, I try and grab as much 'kit' off them as possible."
And he joked he will then make a profit from the garments.
He added: "Then you can sell it on eBay."
Meanwhile, the British star - who has six-year-old son Louis with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed - also admitted he didn't learn to drive until he was 30 and that was out of necessity.
Speaking at a cinema society screening of his new movie 'Locke', he explained: "I had to take my ex to the hospital to have our son Louis."
Tom finds it easy to make choices on what roles to accept.
He said: "It comes back to a very basic principle of story. Is it interesting? Do I want to be a part of it? Yes. How does it work? That's when you get back to a pragmatic sense of 'What's the practical next step?' I don't get up in the morning and go, 'I have to find a piece where I can look into someone's eyes.' "

Kim Kardashian's Vogue cover is set to be the highest-selling issue of the magazine.
It has been reported the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is on track to sell a record number of copies justifying Anna Wintour's decision to feature the reality star and her fiancé Kanye West in the April issue of the fashion bible.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "The projections are that Kim and Kanye will likely sell almost 500,000 copies."
The figures are yet to be confirmed, but it's thought Kim's cover could outsell previous issues featuring Beyoncé and America's First Lady Michelle Obama which sold 355,39 and 293,798 copies respectively.
Kim's highly coveted cover didn't come without controversy with many people boycotting the issue, including actress Sarah Michelle Gellar who took to Twitter to say she would be cancelling her subscription following the decision to put Kim - who shot to fame following the leak of her sex tape in 2007 - on the front of the publication.
Wintour was ultimately forced to defend her decision to feature the couple, following rumours Kanye had begged her for months to feature his fiancée on the cover.
The editor said: "As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue's cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true."

Tila Tequila has split from the father of her baby.
The reality TV star made the "surprise" announcement just last week that she was expecting her first child, and it has now emerged she has already gone her separate ways from her Georgia-based partner Thomas Paxton Whitaker.
He told RadarOnline.com: "Even though I had nothing negative to say about Tila in my comment to you, and the two of us are soon to share a child with one another, Tila and I are not together as a couple and we are no longer pursuing a relationship with each other."

The 44-year-old star - who was catapulted to the spotlight after her 1990 single 'Vision of Love' reached the top spot in charts across the world - has revealed she celebrates important moments in her life and not ageing.
Quizzed on whether she worries about the challenge of pop culture's fixation of youth since she's been a star for the past 25 years, she told the Observer Magazine: "First of all don't round up. If you're going to round, round down. I don't count years but I definitely rebuke them - I have anniversaries, not birthdays because I celebrate life, darling."
