David Walliams signs Jack Carroll for Big School

David Walliams has signed up 2013's 'Britain's Got Talent' star Jack Carroll to star in 'Big School'.
The 42-year-old comedian - who is a judge on the ITV contest alongside media mogul Simon Cowell, singer Alesha Dixon and actress Amanda Holden - has negotiated a deal with Jack, who suffers from cerebral palsy, and finished as the runner-up on the show at the age of 14.
Jack - who has previously appeared in two series of the CBBC Channel show 'Ministry of Curious Stuff' - is set to play a new boy at Greybridge School named Dean.
David enthused: "I am excited to be welcoming so many talented new faces to the show - and it's great to be working with Jack."
David - who is married to model Lara Stone - plays chemistry teacher Mr Church in the drama which is set in a secondary school and follows the comedic relationships of the teachers.
He will also be joined by former 'Holby City' star Jimmy Akingbola, who has been cast as hunky Mr Dalton.
The first series began airing on BBC One on 16 August 2013 and has been renewed for a second series which will hit the small screen from August 2014.

Elizabeth Banks hates being hungover around kids

Elizabeth Banks hates being hungover around her kids.
The 'Walk of Shame' star admits she loved getting drunk when she was younger and living in New York, but she still does the drunken walk home after a night out now.
Asked if she has ever done a walk of shame in real life, she said: "Plenty. It's going to happen. And I get motion sickness, so instead of getting in a taxi, I'd do the walk of shame for real."
The 40-year-old actress doesn't let her children Felix, three, and Magnus, 18-months, whom she has with her husband Max Handleman, stop her from enjoying a night out once in a while, but she doesn't let herself get too bad.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "I don't think I have. Now that I have kids, it's a completely different kind. I have to accept they're going to see me when I've had a big night."
The blonde beauty also likes to alone spend time with her husband Max because she believes it's an important factor in making a relationship work.
She said previously: "We'll be like, 'Let's ask the nanny to stay late so we can run out and have sushi by ourselves.' And we spend Sunday night curled up on the couch together, watching 'Game of Thrones' and 'Mad Men'."

Richie Sambora still loves Heather Locklear

Richie Sambora still loves his ex-wife Heather Locklear.
The 59-year-old rocker still shares a close bond with his former spouse - with whom he has 16-year-old daughter Ava - who he married in Paris on December 17, 1994, and although their divorce was finalised in 2007 he insists he'll always have a special place in his heart for her.
He said: "Time does heal old wounds. I mean, I still love Heather and I know she loves me. She's the mother of my child, man. What can you say?"
Richie insists Ava is his "favorite girl" and gushed about how proud he is of what the teen star has achieved.
He told PEOPLE magazine: "She and I are close and have a candid relationship.
"Boundaries are set.
"That doesn't budge. She is an amazing kid and dedicated to school. She's acting. The first audition she [went] out for was Judd Apatow's 'This is 40' - and she got it. She's been doing Disney stuff. I'm really proud of her - she's just a joy. My favorite girl - her and my mum, I always say."
Earlier this year he revealed it was essential for him and Heather to keep relations cordial for the sake of Ava.
He explained: "If you don't get along you are messing the kid up. That's what happens.
"So you have to put that before whatever s**t is going on. Communication has got to come first. There's a cooling off period obviously, as you know - it takes time. It was almost 10 years ago though. So we're fine.
"Thanksgiving or Christmas, we all spend it together."

Brad Pitt buys son Justin Bieber portrait

Brad Pitt bought Pax a portrait of Justin Bieber.
The 50-year-old actor purchased the piece which was created by street artist Bambi for his 10-year-old son and the image shows the 'Baby' hitmaker alongside the words "Rebel without a clue".
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: "Pax loves Justin and so Brad thought this would be the perfect gift for him.
"Brad loves Bambi's unique style and this is his third purchase from her.
"When he found out she'd done a piece with Justin, he knew he'd have to get it for Pax.
"The Justin artwork is done on a panel of wood and he loves how unique it is."
Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina Jolie - who also raise Maddox, 12, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and twins Vivienne and Knox, five together - are rumoured to star in their first film together in almost a decade.
The couple haven't been seen together in a movie since starring in 'Mr & Mrs Smith' back in 2005, which sparked their real-life love affair, but it is believed they have "an exciting new venture" in the pipeline for the near future.
The 38-year-old actress has reportedly penned the script for the upcoming movie, which will be set in Europe.
An insider previously said: "People will not want to miss it!"

Miranda Lambert wants Beyonce duet

Miranda Lambert would love to record a duet with Beyoncé.
The 'Automatic' hitmaker is a huge fan of the pop superstar but admits she would be too nervous to ask the 'Drunk in Love' singer to go into the recording studio with her.
Asked who she would like to collaborate with, she said: "Kelly Clarkson is a friend of mine. And I'm a huge Beyoncé fan, but I would never dare tread that water because I'd be too nervous."
Meanwhile, Miranda says she finds it hard to relax.
The country music star - who is married to Blake Shelton - admits she is very nervous about releasing her new album, 'Platinum,' next month and is trying to embrace any quiet moments away from technology.
She told People magazine: "I do have trouble putting down [my iPhone], but I'm getting better about it. I think it's important to take a minute and breathe: no TV, no computer, no iPhone, no iPad. You have so many gadgets today, and everyone is over stimulated all the time."

Hugh Jackman was X-Men dad

Hugh Jackman felt old on the set of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.
The 45-year-old actor stars alongside 'Skins' star Nicholas Hoult, 24, in the latest instalment of the Marvel comic book franchise and he's admitted that he felt really old when he told him he'd watched the first film as a child.
He told ELLE magazine: "The first day we shot in the X-Mansion, Nic said, 'I'm sorry, but this is just so cool because I saw you walking down these halls when I was 10 years old.' And I said, 'I know that's meant as a compliment, but it still stings a little, mate.' "
Hoult's girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, 23, and Ellen Page, 27, also star in the film and Hugh admits he felt like their dad when they were messing about on set.
He explained: "That bunch were close on set, all partying together, shooting each other with BB guns in the trailer park.
"I thought, 'I'm not going to shush them, because if I tell them to stop they'll just shoot at my trailer window. So I stayed inside - that's when you realise you're the old man now."

Tyra Banks was insecure teenager

Tyra Banks was very insecure as a teenager.
The supermodel started her own charity, the TZONE Foundation, to empower young women to discover their own strength and realise their ambitions, as she hated being teased for being too thin when she was younger.
She told People magazine: "Part of my desire to help these girls is because of my own insecurities at that age. The summer I was 11 years old, I lost 30 lbs in three months. It was the 1980s, during the Ethiopian famine, and I got a lot of comments.
"My school thought I was ill. It was a very painful time."
The 'America's Next Top Model' presenter was also branded "fat" in 2006 after photographs emerged of her looking more curvaceous in a swimsuit on the beach.
She explained: "Who would have thought that the girl who was once forced to go to hospital because she was too skinny would one day be called too fat?
"I lived both of those."
Meanwhile, the former's Victoria's Secret model believes the entertainment and fashion industries often perpetuate a negative image that women need to be extremely thin to be considered beautiful.
She said previously: "The skinnier a lot of actresses are, or singers are, or celebrities are, they tend to get a lot of coverage. A lot of, 'Oh, she's such a fashion darling, look at her, let's take her picture as she goes shopping, let's put her on the cover of our magazine.'
"The fashion industry has a very narrow definition of what beauty is - specifically now, it's a size 0 [or] 00."

Kaley Cuoco to cleanse Khloe Kardashian’s old home

Kaley Cuoco wants to cleanse Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's old marital home.
The actress and her new husband Ryan Sweeting, who bought the former couple's home for $5.5 million in LA shortly after they split in December, is on a mission to clear the plush property of bad vibes.
A source told In Touch weekly magazine: "They hired a feng shui expert to restore the positive energy. Kaley doesn't want their future affected by anything left behind."
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and her estranged husband ended their four-year marriage last year amid claims Lamar cheated on Khloe with multiple woman and had an addiction to drugs.
However, the brunette beauty had a tough time moving out of the home in Tarzana after she discovered while packing up her belongings earlier this year that expensive jewellery had been stolen from the premises.
Khloe then went on to purchase Justin Bieber's old home in gated community The Oaks in Calabasas, California, and is currently renovating the whole mansion.
The 29-year-old star has hired famed interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to help her decorate and has already removed a skateboard ramp that the 'Baby' hitmaker had installed on the property.

Queen Latifah doesn’t have ‘Hollywood’ life

Queen Latifah doesn't have a "Hollywood" lifestyle.
The chat show host insists she leads a simple life and spends a lot of time taking care of her mother Rita Owen - who was diagnosed with scleroderma, an incurable autoimmune disease that may cause scar tissue to build up on the lungs, last year - and taking her to see doctors.
She said: "There's nothing Hollywood about me when it comes to my family. I didn't hire people. I'm very involved with Mom's care. I talk to the doctors, I talk to the nurses, we discuss the findings, we discuss options."
She added to People magazine: "I love that lady. We've gotten so close this year, with everything we've been going through. She takes care of me. And now I can take care of her. I'm really thankful I can be there."
However, the 44-year-old actress hasn't always maintained a strong outlook on life as she previously admitted she was "rocked to the core" when her brother, Lancelot Jr., crashed a motorcycle, which she gave him, and died in 1992.
She said: "I think I got to that place by not being happy with the other side -- hating your body and criticising yourself all the time. When I was around 18, I looked in the mirror and said, 'You're either going to love yourself or hate yourself.' And I decided to love myself. That changed a lot of things."

Vicky Pattison wants to be better role model

Vicky Pattison is trying to be a better role model for young girls.
The 26-year-old star - who is known for her partying and no-nonsense attitude on reality TV series 'Geordie Shore' - has admitted she's trying to set a good example for her young fans who look up to her.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I know I'm starting to become more aware of young girls tweeting me saying I'm an inspiration. They find my weight loss inspirational, they find how strong I am ... but it's a big responsibility.
"Whether you want to accept that or not, I do strive to behave in a good way most of the time."
The brunette beauty confessed that despite trying her best to be a good role model, she feels herself and other celebrities are unfairly expected to do so.
She explained: "I think Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and reality TV stars in the UK or America, we didn't set out to be role models, we set out to do things we enjoy and Miley Cyrus is quite clearly having a good time, as is Rihanna, as are all of us.
"Some people have that role thrust upon them when they don't really want it, and it's tough."
Vicky's new show 'Ex on the Beach' airs on Tuesdays on MTV.

Lorde hits out at ‘stalker’ photographer

Lorde has claimed a photographer has been "stalking" her.
The 17-year-old singer took to her Twitter account last night (03.05.14) to accuse Simon Runting of violating her privacy and subjecting her to fear.
The 'Royals' hitmaker shared a picture of the photographer along with the caption: "this man has been stalking me, photographing me and refusing me privacy. i am scared of him. he frequents central akl (sic)".
She added: "this should not be an accepted standard for young women or anyone in this industry (sic)".
She then posted a link to his private Facebook page before admitting that being photographed regularly comes with being famous, but she won't be frightened in the process.
She tweeted: "i refuse to stay complicit and i refuse to stay passive about men systematically subjecting me to extreme fear.
"i understand that this comes with the territory. i do not understand why I should be complacent. (sic)".
It is not known what sparked the online rant from Lorde, but this isn't the first time the photographer has angered a star.
Last year, Rihanna, 26, blasted Mr. Runting after he took photographs of her standing in her hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand, wrapped in a blanket.

Candace Cameron-Bure ‘loves’ her body

Candace Cameron-Bure "loves" her body.
The 38-year-old actress, who previously suffered with bulimia, admits she's learnt to accept her figure and believes she's in better shape now than when she was 20.
She said: "I've grown to love my body and I'm very happy with it. I'm confident with my body and at my age, not that I'm super old! But I feel like I look better now than I ever did in my 20s. I love my body."
The former 'Full House' star believes her children Natasha, 16, Lev, 14, and Maksim, 12, whom she shares with her husband Valeri Bure, have helped her achieve the body she wants because they've kept her active.
She explained: "I enjoy playing sports with my kids. It's just affected my body, so I love the way it looks now.
"It's self-confidence, but I've also gotten more in shape than in the past even 10 years since I had my kids."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty revealed her battle with her eating disorder in her book 'Balancing It All' when she admitted getting married at the age of 20 and her sitcom ending spurred on her unhealthy habits.
According to the Huffington Post, she wrote: "That really was the time of identifying with being an actress and that being my whole life, and then now being someone's wife and moving to a new city, a new country even. I turned to food for comfort and had to find a different source, because clearly it wasn't a healthy way to deal with things."
