Susan Sarandon expecting ‘theatrical’ daughter labour

Susan Sarandon thinks her granddaughter's birth will be "theatrical".
The 'Stepmom' actress' daughter Eva Amurri Martino and her husband Kyle are expecting their first child together, a baby girl, and are planning for her to be born at home.
Susan said: "Eva's going to deliver at home, so it'll be a very theatrical event."
The 67-year-old star - who also has sons Jack, 24, and Miles, 21, with ex-partner Tim Robbins, as well as Eva, whose father is filmmaker Franco Amurri - also recalled her own pregnancies, and admitted they felt "surreal.
Speaking to America's Closer magazine, she said: "It's such a sci-fi happening. When you're pregnant, it seems surreal until the baby's there."
The 'Lovely Bones' star recently admitted she doesn't want her granddaughter to call her grandma, and will encourage her to call her 'Honey' instead.
She said: "I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who's from the South, and his grandma was 'Honey'.
"That's what I'm experimenting with and Eva likes it, so we'll see.
"I think it's good because this is Kyle's parents seventh grandchild, so they've established what his parents are called."

Shane Warne would date Miranda Kerr

Shane Warne would love to date Miranda Kerr.
The former cricketer - whose engagement to Elizabeth Hurley ended earlier this year - was delighted to learn a professional matchmaker had paired him up with the Australian model, whose marriage to Orlando Bloom ended last year.
During an appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O show on KIIS FM this morning (02.05.14), presenter Jackie Henderson told him: "Based on all your previous relationships, I have got an assessor to come up with some things that I should be looking for.
"I want to make sure that I'm looking for the right things, so you tell me if what she came up with is correct."
Jackie then listed what she believes Shane looks for in a woman, including confidence, spontaneity, adventure, and above all, someone who takes pride in their appearance.
He exclaimed: "You are on absolute fire at the moment Jackie, everything is a big tick. You must have Ms. Perfect ... the Mrs. Shane or something.'
However, though he praised "wonderful and beautiful" Miranda, Shane said he would have to "check" with his friend James Packer, as the billionaire has been romantically linked with the Victoria's Secret model for the last three months.
He said: "I think I would actually have to ring my friend James first, I'm not sure what's happening there.
"Miranda's a wonderful beautiful person. I'd love to say yes to that but mates come first there, so I'd have to check with James what the situation was. I don't do the dirty on friends...you don't go there."

Usher debuts Michael Jackson’s new track

Usher debuted Michael Jackson's new song at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night (01.04.14).
The 'Good Kisser' hitmaker got to honour the King of Pop by performing the track 'Love Never Felt So Good' at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, which will be featured on 'XSCAPE', Michael's upcoming album.
The track was introduced by veteran music boss L.A. Reid of Epic Records and was produced by John McClain and Paul Anka - having been recorded back in 1983.
The label will be releasing the album, in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, on May 13, and guest artists featured on the record include Mary J Blige and Justin Timberlake.
Usher paid tribute to Michael in an interview with MTV News following the star's death in 2009 of acute Propofol intoxication.
He said: "I think Michael Jackson is by far one of the most impactful artists in music ... when MTV did not play African-American videos, he took a stand and said, 'This is a must,' and you look what it became after that.
"You can't say that you are an artist in this century and [not be] influenced by Michael Jackson. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to share the stage with him, to know him personally, and I am always going to remember him."

Iggy Azalea tips Rita Ora for superstardom

Rita Ora will be a "superstar", according to Iggy Azalea.
The Australian rapper has boldly predicted worldwide success for her close pal, who she recently collaborated with on new track 'Black Widow', which was penned by Katy Perry.
Iggy said: "Rita's a superstar and she will only get bigger. She's one of those girls that always gets the party started, she is so mischievous, it's great going out with her."
The 23-year-old star was originally determined to avoid any collaborations on her debut album, 'The New Classic', but eventually relented when 'Roar' hitmaker Katy pitched 'Black Widow' to her.
She explained: "I changed my mind when Katy said she kept thinking of me when she wrote 'Black Widow', but it was months before I got to hear the song. I was going, 'Play me the damned song! What the hell?' "
Iggy also reveals that Katy was her first choice to sing on the track but the in-demand star couldn't fit a recording session into her busy schedule.
The rapper told the Daily Star newspaper: "Katy couldn't get time to sing on the track herself, so we wondered who else could do it. It needed someone who could really sing, as Katy's voice is awesome. Rita is a great fit - her voice can blow people away."

Wilko Johnson recovering after doctors ‘successfully’ remove tumour

Wilko Johnson is recovering well after radical cancer surgery.
The former Dr Feelgood guitarist had a pancreatic tumour "successfully" removed during a nine hour operation on Wednesday (30.04.14) and doctors are said to be "happy" with his condition after he was given 10 months to live, when he rejected chemotherapy.
In a statement from Wilko's manager, Lisa Climie, said: "Wilko will stay under very close observation for the next few days.
"Although cautiously optimistic the team have to stress that it is very early days yet.
"The family thank everyone for their good wishes and ask for some privacy at this time so they can support Wilko with his recovery in peace."
The news comes after the BBC reported the 66-year-old musician had defied the doctors' predictions after his "football-sized" tumour spread to his spleen and parts of his stomach, with sources claiming they were "hopeful" the surgery would have a "positive" result.
Meanwhile, Wilko has scrapped 14 gigs in May and July to allow him time to recover from the operation.
He recently stormed the UK album chart with the Roger Daltrey collaboration 'Going Back Home.'

Prince Harry’s staid celebrations

Britain's Prince Harry and his friends were like a "group of accountants" on a night out in Miami this week.
The 29-year-old royal and a bunch of pals celebrated Guy Pelly's bachelor party at Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Wednesday (30.04.14), and an insider insists the group were on their best behaviour.
Miami Herald blog Scene In the Tropics reported: "Had you not known there was a member of the British royal family sitting there with his back to the opening, you'd have thought it was possibly a convention of accountants or something similarly staid. They were definitely more Palm Beach than Miami Beach.
"Though we saw Harry happily chatting with his table-mates and one brunette female in particular, it was all innocent, friendly and, well, civilised."
Other diners were banned from taking pictures of the group, who enjoyed a lavish feast in a private dining room.
A source said: "He and his friends sat in a private dining room and had a long dinner, staying until after closing time. Among the dishes they enjoyed were duck salad, dim sum platter, stir-fried Chilean sea bass and Bahamian lobster. They were drinking cocktails, and coffee, and said they were enjoying the Miami weather."
The group left the restaurant and headed to nightclub Liv, and Harry was seen having "the best time".
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Harry kept his plaid shirt on and danced in the comforts of his own skybox. As for pictures of this controlled debauchery, no such luck. Neither pictures nor DJ shout-outs were allowed as 'per his security detail.' Staffers were sworn to secrecy or else it was off with their heads -- and their jobs."
Guy's three-day wedding celebrations to Lizzy Wilson begin in Memphis today (02.05.14), with heir nuptials taking place tomorrow (03.05.14).

Helen Flanagan lands Holby role

Helen Flanagan has landed a role in 'Holby City'.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress will play a lazy agency nurse named Kirsty in an episode of the BBC medical drama airing in July and she is thrilled to have landed the part.
She said: "I'm really pleased to be working in a show I really enjoy."
Oliver Kent, 'Holby City's executive producer, added: "We're delighted to have Helen on the show. She's going to ruffle some feathers.
"So it's definitely an episode to watch."
The 23-year-old beauty recently admitted she struggles to be taken seriously as an actress following her stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in 2012.
She said recently: "I've got a few projects coming up. Reality TV ... I trained as an actress but because I went into the jungle I think sometimes it's hard for people to take you seriously as an actress.
"I'm really open-minded but I am actually a natural born actress, it's my character. But it's because I've done reality TV, and I do enjoy my modelling work. I just like to do things I enjoy, I live for now, I don't think ahead too much."

Hilary Duff could reunite with Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff has admitted she and Mike Comrie "don't know" what the future holds for them.
The couple - who have two-year-old son Luca together - split in January after three years of marriage, but the 'So Yesterday' singer says they still love one another and suggested they could eventually reconcile.
Hilary - who has enjoyed numerous outings with the hockey player since they split - told E! News: "We're constantly seen together and people are like, 'What are they doing? Are they back together? Are they not?' We're really good friends and we have so much respect for each other and obviously Luca is our number one priority.
"I think we got to a point where we were like, we really need to honour happiness and whatever that is and however we need to sort that out or work that out, we're doing that.
"We love each other so much and we love spending time together. So when you see us out it's not just for Luca, it's because we make plans and we hang out.
"We don't know what our future looks like right now but we're both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy."
Hilary recently signed a new record deal, and also has TV projects in the pipeline, but says caring for her son takes up most of her time.
She said: "The busiest thing is that I have a two year old. I'm constantly on the go, it's crazy. He's so much fun."

L’Wren Scott memorial service to take place

A private memorial service for L'Wren Scott will take place today.
A host of fashion industry insiders will gather at St.Batholomew's Church in Manhattan tonight (02.05.14) to remember the late designer, who committed suicide in March, at a special service.
According to the New York Post newspaper, Andre Leon Talley will deliver a speech, while Ellen Barkin and O magazine's creative director Adam Glassman will be among those in attendance.
A spokesperson for Sir Mick Jagger - L'Wren's partner of 13 years - did not comment as to whether he will be present at the service.
The Rolling Stones frontman paid a touching tribute to the designer at her funeral service in March, which took place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
The 70-year-old rocker told mourners including his children Karis, 43, Jade, 42, Elizabeth, 30, Georgia May, 22, James, 28, and Gabriel, 16, and L'Wren's brother Randall Bambrough stories of their relationship and spoke about his love for the designer at the "intimate" and sombre service, which was led by Revered Ed Bacon from the All Saints Church in Pasadena, California.
Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart later accompanied Bernard Fowler, a backup singer that has appeared on more than 30 albums with The Rolling Stones, as he performed the song 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken,' while Karis read a poem and Jade read Psalm 139.
L'Wren's brother Randall and her close friends also gave speeches during the heartbreaking ceremony.
Mick's grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read Psalms, and L'Wren's niece Hannah Bambrough read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?' during the service.

Peaches Geldof’s drug dealer being hunted

Peaches Geldof's drug dealer is being hunted by police.
The body of the 25-year-old presenter was found at her home in Wrotham, Kent, last month and officers are now questioning friends and family after tests showed her death was "likely" linked to heroin use.
A Kent Police spokesman told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We can confirm an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in connection with the death of Peaches Geldof."
There was no evidence of drugs at the house she shared with her husband Thomas Cohen and their sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, 12 months, although police are trying to determine whether the house was cleaned up before officers arrived at the property..
Kent Police have refused to confirm or deny if Tom or anyone linked to Peaches has been spoken to since she was discovered but say there have been no arrests and no interviews under caution.
Her £1million home was searched for two days with sniffer dogs after she was found slumped across the edge of a bed in her spare room, with one leg underneath her and the other hanging to the floor.
Meanwhile, sources have claimed Peaches was secretly visiting a rehab centre near to her home in the weeks before she died to collect prescriptions for methadone, a drug used to help addicts off heroin.
