Christina Applegate says she's "more manly" than her 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' co-stars.
The 42-year-old actress reprises her role as Veronica Corningstone in the comedy where she stars opposite Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner and insists they're all "softies".
She said: "These guys are all softies. No machos on this set. I never felt that I was in need of a support group for women. I felt very comfortable with these guys on set. I probably have more manly qualities than most of those guys."
Applegate admits it was hard not to break into laughter on set while she was working with the hilarious guys.
She added: "It wasn't easy [not to laugh], I can tell you that. But at some point you have to remember that you are a professional, and that you need to keep it together. I think I ruined a lot of takes, maybe they'll put those on the DVD, so people can experience how much fun we really had."
'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' is available on digital download, Blu-ray and DVD now.
Katherine Heigl claims it's a "miracle" the puppies she rescued from Russia are alive.
The 35-year-old beauty helped bring two pooches called Sochi and Adler back to America after she realised how unwell they were during the Sochi Winter Olympics, but complications arose when the dogs were found to be suffering from life-threatening diseases during quarantine.
Katherine says they're doing well now and is surprised the dogs are still alive after the whole ordeal.
She explained on US chat show 'The Talk': "It was really intense. I don't know if you watched the Olympics and saw what was going on over there with the animals, but it's equally as bad here.
"We were asked by the NSPCA to help with two puppies. We showed up at the airport and took these dogs.
"We thought the male dog was dead, he wasn't moving, we couldn't rouse him, and we drove immediately to the emergency vet.
"The other little puppy seemed to be in good health, but then she ended up having respiratory problems."
Katherine showed off her new pets on the show and proudly announced: "He was almost dead. It's a miracle he's alive."
Drew Barrymore is focusing on motherhood.
The 39-year-old actress - who gave birth to her second daughter, Frankie, with husband Will Kopelman last month - admits that although she "loves" working on her beauty range Flower, she often works from home so that she can be around her 19-month-old daughter Olive.
Speaking before the birth of Frankie, she said: "With the beauty company, I can work from home sometimes, so I get to spend time with my daughter.
"Even if I had meetings all day, I'm there in the morning and I'm home in time for an early dinner. That is what I want my life to be right now."
The 'Blended' star is also committed to helping less fortunate children and works closely with a charity based in the United States.
In an interview with the new issue of Red magazine, she explained: "I work with a foundation in the US that collects items for young families in need, whether it's diapers, strollers, cribs or clothes.
"The human component is where my heart's drawn to, charity-wise. Babies: that's what gets me."
Drew and Will welcomed baby Frankie on April 22.
The couple said in a statement: "Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman. Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!"
Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil thinks it will be "wise" for them to take a break from music soon.
The vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the band has admitted that although they're hoping to put out a new album soon, they're also thinking of taking some time out from the music industry.
He told Xfm radio: "It's probably wise for us to disappear for a wee while, as well. We've had so much love from people and they've been so kind but there's nothing worse than a band that just stays in your face for ages and ages so we'll probably disappear for a while and hopefully you guys will miss us."
The 34-year-old 'Mountains' hitmaker claims he's penned enough tracks for an album already but won't be releasing them for over a year.
He said: "I've written about 14 songs so far. We're kind of doing some demos of them at the moment. The fact that the ball is rolling on this record is very exciting, I think we'll look to record it maybe the start of next year, possibly out for the end of next year."
"To me making a record, it's an ongoing process. You might not be ready to record it in a couple of months but the creativity and the evolution of the band, it picks up exactly where it left off."
Simon and his bandmates - James Johnstone, Ben Johnston, Josh Lowe and Lewis Ingram - will headline the T in the Park festival in Scotland this summer.
Miley Cyrus has postponed the start of the European leg of her 'Bangerz' tour.
The 'Adore You' hitmaker has been forced to reschedule her gigs in Amsterdam and Antwerp after her on-going battle with an allergic reaction took a turn for the worse.
A statement on her website read: "The May 2nd and May 4th Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' tour dates in Amsterdam and Antwerp have been postponed and rescheduled for Antwerp June 20th and Amsterdam June 22nd."
The 21-year-old singer was hospitalised on April 15 after her body rejected Cephalexin, an antibiotic prescribed for the flu, but just under two weeks later she appeared to be making a good recovery and was discharged from hospital.
However, Miley, who was forced to postpone the US leg of her tour due to the illness, has been banned from travelling by her doctor after her symptoms flared up again recently.
The statement explained: "After a period of improvement, Cyrus' symptoms have returned and Doctor's will not permit her to travel. This type of extreme reaction can last up to 27 days and Cyrus must remain under Doctor's care at this time."
Miley seemed less than impressed when she heard that she couldn't perform for Amsterdam and Antwerp.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (29.04.14), she tweeted: "R u f**king kidding me?!?!?!?? #aprilcangof**kitself (sic)."
However, it is hoped Miley's UK gig at London's O2 Arena on May 6 will proceed as planned.
Eva Longoria's ex-husband has become a father.
Tony Parker and his fiancée Axelle Francine welcomed a baby boy - their first child together - into the world on Wednesday (30.04.14) and have named the tiny tot Josh.
Josh decided to make his arrival just hours before NBA star Tony helped the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 2014 play-offs.
Speaking to Associated Press, Tony said: "It was crazy, because it happened last night, late. I didn't sleep. I basically didn't sleep the whole night and just played on adrenaline today. I'm a happy man right now."
However, Tony's teammate Tim Duncan knew his pal would play well despite his lack of sleep.
He said: "Coming into the game I told him this is perfect for you. This is what he does in situations like this where he doesn't get a lot of sleep or is in a stressful situation.
"He always seems to play better. I somewhat expected it from him."
Tony announced he was expecting his first child with Axelle, whom he has been dating for two years, in October.
Meanwhile, Eva divorced the hunky sportsman in 2011 after four years of marriage over claims he had cheated.
However, Eva was devastated by the divorce and previously admitted she stopped eating due to depression.
She said: "I was not eating. I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee. [But this was] the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny."
Shakira's son likes travelling on planes.
The 'Can't Remember to Forget You' hitmaker admits she will be announcing her upcoming tour soon and, although it will be hard juggling a young child, she believes her 15-month-old son Milan, whom she shares with her beau Gerard Piqué, will adjust well to being on the road.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "[He] has to [come with me]. I have to figure it out. I was actually an hour ago having a conversation about that because I think I'm gonna have to announce my tour pretty soon. And it's going to be a challenge with a baby like Milan but he's so adaptable and so friendly and so sociable.
"He likes travelling. He likes planes. He wants to go. He's a rolling stone, just like his mama."
The 'The Voice' USA mentor recently admitted that motherhood has changed every aspect of her life and she now finds herself thinking about her son's future.
She said previously: "Everything is different. Maybe the biggest change is that I think about the future more, what the world will be like for him when he grows up. But when it comes to living, it's all about the present."
Paloma Faith used to have phone sex with a guy who had a stocking fetish.
The 32-year-old singer admits when she worked as a sales assistant in lingerie store Agent Provocateur she would say naughty things down the phone to a man after he'd bought all the female members of staff the elastic garment.
Speaking on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' tonight (02.05.14), she is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "We had some guy who had a stocking fetish who used to ring up, buy everyone on the floor a stocking and then ask us to tell him off on the phone.
"And we also had one window that said 'Peep Show' across the front and a lot of customers thought it was.
"Some used to go to the dressing rooms and try and have a look at people."
Meanwhile, the 'Picking Up The Pieces' hitmaker also revealed she almost killed Adele's dog after she cooked up some lamb kebabs at a dinner party hosted by Alan.
She confesses: "I gave them all food poisoning. I really like Alan and Adele and I did not mean to do that - I have not spoken to Alan until now.
"I did buy the meat from a really good supermarket, which I won't name but I'd love to sue."
However, despite giving Adele's adorable five-year-old Dachshund Louie an upset stomach, Paloma blames the 'Someone Like You' singer for feeding him the meaty treat.
She explains: "She should not be giving lamb kebabs to her dog anyway ... I'm sorry."
'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' airs on Channel 4 tonight at 10pm.
Courtney Love's father has claimed he can "prove" she was involved in her late husband Kurt Cobain's death.
Hank Harrison, who is estranged from his daughter, insists although he hasn't got evidence that the 49-year-old star "pulled the trigger" on the shotgun that ended the rocker's life 20 years ago, he's certain she was responsible for it.
Speaking to RadarOnline.com, he said: "No doubt she was capable. I can't prove she pulled the trigger, but I can prove her involvement to a high degree of certainty."
Hank believes the clues that point to his daughter are hidden in the handwritten note found in Kurt's wallet at the time of his death, which was released by police last week.
It reads: "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife. Even when she's a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring. (sic)"
Hank explained: "If you read the true meaning of this small note, and place it in conjunction with the rest of the evidence, anyone with even half a wit will see that something dire and awful took place."
Courtney's father is also suspicious of the Seattle police for releasing new evidence - photographs of the death scenes last month - 20 years after the incident.
He added: "Nobody, except me, asked the obvious question, Why weren't they developed 20 years ago? They weren't developed because the police had already decided it was a suicide and didn't need any more evidence."
The Seattle Police Department re-examined Kurt's death on the 20th anniversary, but they found no evidence that would justify re-opening the case.
Kurt's death was ruled a suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot.
Sam Worthington has been cleared of assault following a scuffle with a paparazzi on February 23.
The 'Avatar' actor has avoided being thrown behind bars after he quietly entered into a conditional dismissal deal on April 8 at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York.
The 37-year-old star was not present at court but his lawyer Stacey Richman took the non-jail deal on his behalf.
Sam's case had been advanced from its original date of May 8 and the press was not present at the proceeding.
The hunky star submitted a waiver to the court explaining he was "contractually committed" to work in Europe at this time and thanked the judge for working with his schedule.
He wrote in a statement: "I understand that as long as I continue to lead a law abiding life, this matter will be dismissed and sealed."
Sam was arrested earlier this year after he and his girlfriend Lara Bingle got into a scrap with a camera-wielding snapper in Greenwich Village, New York City.
The actor reportedly punched the photographer multiple times in the face after Lara claimed he kicked her shin.
Sam was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment.
The photographer, named Sheng Li, was also arrested and booked for reckless endangerment, assault and harassment.
Sam previously got into an altercation with a photographer in 2012, when he was arrested and pepper sprayed following an argument outside a restaurant in Atlanta.
Kate Hudson doesn't have time to plan her wedding.
The 35-year-old actress has been engaged to Matthew Bellamy for three years and, although she's adamant they'll tie the knot at some point, she admits their hectic work schedules has put their wedding plans on the back burner.
When asked how she finds time to plan her wedding, she told E! News: "You don't [have time to plan a wedding with a busy career], which is why I'm not [planning my wedding].
"We got a busy summer. We're really looking forward to it. I'm shooting a movie and so you know, we're doing a bunch this summer."
Meanwhile, Kate - whose four-year relationship with the Muse frontman has been the subject of recent speculation they are on the rocks - believes it takes a lot of "work" to share life with another person, and thinks the secret to lasting commitment is to accept one another's flaws.
She said previously: "Relationships are the most challenging things. It's where you do the most work in your life. You come face-to-face with yourself, and if you can deal with realising we're all flawed, accept it and work with it, you might have a really amazing, lasting relationship."
However, the blonde beauty - who has son Ryder, 10, from her marriage to Chris Robinson and two-year-old son Bingham with Matt - thinks the way to make a relationship work seems "simple" but isn't so easy in practice.
Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg want a small wedding.
The couple, who got engaged last month, can't decide whether to elope for their nuptials or stay in Los Angeles, but one thing they have agreed on is the venue size.
Donnie said: "I'd like a small wedding. A perfect wedding for me would be Jenny, myself, and our three boys."
Jenny added: "It would be this year or next year. We like the idea of getting away on a vacation, but we also like the idea of keeping it local."
However, the 41-year-old presenter admits she's already got lots of plans for her big day lined up if they don't hold their wedding in a different country.
She told Us Magazine: "Andy [Cohen] would officiate if we're not eloping! [I'd also] like to write my own vows."
Meanwhile, Donnie, 44, has proved he gets on well with Jenny's 11-year-old son Evan, whom she has with her ex-husband John Mallory Asher, as he asked the youngster for his seal of approval before he proposed to his mum.
A source said previously: "Donnie asked Evan if it would OK to ask his mum to marry him."
After Evan said yes, Donnie enlisted him to deliver handwritten notes with the words "will", "you" and "marry" written on them, to Jenny before he appeared wearing a T-shirt printed with the final part of the message, "me?"
Meanwhile, Donnie has sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 12, with his ex-wife Kim Fey.
