Emily Blunt "almost broke her nose" filming 'Edge of Tomorrow'.
'The Devil Wears Prada' actress takes on her first role as an action hero in her latest movie, and even though she prepared for it with Krav Maga martial arts, sprinting, gymnastics, yoga and weight training, it still hurt when she started doing stunts.
Emily - who appears alongside action veteran Tom Cruise in the film - said: "In my initiation to the action world, in stunt training I almost broke my nose.
"It wasn't even a cool story. I smacked myself in the face with my sword. Tom came into the trailer as I was sitting there with ice on my face and high-fived me and said, 'Welcome to the club.' I said, 'Dude, I'm in so much pain.' He said, 'Yeah!' "
Tom, 51, famously does all his own stunts, but even he isn't immune to mishaps, and fell off a car while shooting one scene.
He added to People magazine: "I was bleeding - I got slashed by the metal.
"But that stuff happens. The thing with Emily was, we never compared bruises. Making an action movie everyone's in pain, so you just don't mention it."

Christina Aguilera has pregnancy cravings for "blackened" BBQ food.
The 'Fighter' singer is pregnant with her second child - her first with fiance Matthew Rutler - and can't get enough of over-grilled meaty treats.
A source told OK! magazine: "The other day, she went nuts for a plate of blackened BBQ.
"She laughs about it, but she was also relieved when she found out this craving isn't all that strange."
Around 25 per cent of women are said to suffer from cravings for non-nutritious things, such as charred food, which contains lots of carbon.
It has been suggested this can be caused by a mineral deficiency, although there is no conclusive evidence.
Aside from her cravings, the 33-year-old star says her pregnancy with a sister to Max, six, is going smoothly.
She recently wrote on Twitter: "So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon... album, baby & beautiful music to come."
Christina announced she was expecting in February, a week after Matthew proposed in the backyard of their new home in Los Angeles, which is still under construction, on Valentine's Day (14.02.14).
Christina was said to be completely "shocked" by the sunset proposal, for which Matthew wore a suit and filled a gazebo with candles and red roses.

Ricky Martin wishes he could come out as gay for a second time.
The 42-year-old singer revealed his sexuality to the world for the first time in 2010, but he's admitted he'd happily go through it all again because the experience was therapeutic and made him feel as though a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.
He said: "It felt amazing. I wish I could come out again because that moment felt very blissful.
"It really feels amazing and then when it happens you realise all your fears were in your head. The amount of support I received ... from the media, obviously my fans and my family was amazing.
"Unfortunately, society just pushes us to believe that our feelings are evil."
The 'Livin' La Vida Loca' hitmaker confessed it was his twin sons Matteo and Valentino - who were born through a surrogate mother in 2008 - that convinced him to come out, as he wanted them to know the truth and be proud of him as a person when they're older.
Speaking to KIIS FM, he said: "When I held them in my arms for the first time ... it's about honesty and transparency and I want my kids to grow up in an open household where they don't have to lie about their daddy.

Oprah Winfrey is being sued by a nuclear physicist.
Charles D. Goodman, an 86-year-old scientist, has filed a lawsuit in San Miguel County District Court against the media mogul, arguing that a plot of land she purchased near Telluride, south-west Colorado, denies people access to public trails.
Oprah, 60, bought the 66 acres of land in Mountain Village - which was originally owned by the U.S Forest Service - for $10.85 million in March this year.
Since then, Mr. Goodman argues that Oprah's company have ignored the Forest Service's clause that public access must be included in all trades of the land and access to the trails is no longer available to Goodman and his family and other residents, access they have enjoyed for almost 30 years.
Goodman told The Denver Post newspaper: "I don't care if Oprah is a neighbour, but if she is going to cut off access to trails, I don't find that acceptable."
Speaking to TMZ, he stated: "I have no objection to Oprah to building a house. But I do not like the idea of being blocked off by gates and fences."
A representative for Oprah - who also owns expansive properties in California, New Jersey, Chicago, Florida, Hawaii and Antigua - has since released a statement saying that she hopes they can reach an amicable conclusion.
Wendy Luckenbill, who works for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and Oprah's company Yellow Brick Road, said: "Yellow Brick Road CO LLC will continue to work with the residents of the Ski Ranches HOA to enable them to have reasonable access over portions of the company's recently acquired property for recreational trail use. It is our hope that we can work together on a usage plan that is mutually agreeable."

The couple are reportedly planning to update their love nest in Holmby Hills, California with a luxury spa so they can get pampered from the privacy of their own home.
According to RadarOnline.com, construction plans submitted to the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety show that Ellen intends to install a massive 15 foot Jacuzzi on the top floor of her enviable 13,400 square foot pad.
The costly spa will come complete with glass walls, a seating are and an overhead skylight.

Britain's Prince Harry sent his first ever Twitter message today (15.05.14).
The flame-haired royal took to the social media website for the first time to voice his support of the upcoming Invictus Games, a charitable Paralympics-style games for wounded army members.
Harry's tweet was posted to the charity's account, @InvictusLondon.
He wrote: "Hope everyone will get behind #invictusgames. Great opportunity to support and thank the men and women who have given so much. Harry (sic)"
The 29-year-old royal appeared flummoxed while constructing his first tweet during a launch event at BT Tower in London earlier today.
He quipped: "That's why I joined the army, I can't type fast."
Harry joked that London Mayor Boris Johnson would be excited to see him tweet, as he is an avid Twitter user himself.
Invictus Games chairman Keith Mills admitted there were some royal hurdles to overcome before Harry could tweet.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "Members of the royal family don't normally tweet, I don't think they've ever tweeted. But they were comfortable and he was thrilled to do it, so we have made a bit of history this morning."

L.A. Reid has confirmed a Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson collaboration.
The 58-year-old producer behind Michael Jackson's posthumous album 'Xscape' is planning something "really special" involving vocals from the late King of Pop and the 20-year-old singer.
Justin was originally supposed to feature on the track 'Slave 2 The Rhythm' as part of Michael's latest offering until it was inadvertently leaked, causing the collaboration to be dropped from 'Xscape'.
L.A. told Access Hollywood: "'Slave 2 The Rhythm' didn't include him [Justin] per my direction. That was something that was done separate and apart from me and it was leaked. If it hadn't been leaked it would have been featured but it sort of took the wrong turn.
"But you know what, we are going to revisit that and do something really special with Justin and Michael. I'm pretty sure."
L.A. signed Justin to his label Island Records at the tender age of 15 and admitted he feels "protective" over the young star, who was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and drag-racing in Florida in January.
He said: "Justin is my guy. You know that I signed Justin so I felt a loyalty and I feel like I should protect him, that's my relationship with him."

OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder got emotional working with Adele.
The singer-songwriter and producer has penned hits for the likes of Beyonce and Leona Lewis, but says nothing has affected him as much as hearing the results of his studio session with Adele, her moving ballad 'Turning Tables'.
Ryan told the new issue of Notion magazine: "It's easy to look back at your most successful singles and call them your favourites, but I knew there was something special when we came up with 'Turning Tables'.
"After we worked on the song I went back to my hotel room in London and I texted her saying, 'I'm listening to your demo and I'm getting choked up.' She said, 'I've been crying my eyes out for the last 20 minutes.'
"We both thought we'd nailed it. It doesn't matter that it wasn't a radio hit. In a perfect world, the two would coincide. Most artists would be lying if they didn't say that was the goal."
As well as working on new music with his band, the 'Apologize' hitmaker would love to team up with Florence and the Machine star Florence Welch to explore a more experimental sound.
Ryan explained: "For three years mine and Florence Welch's managers have been trying to get our calendars to align. We're always on the opposite sides of the world.
"I really want to do something with her - I think we can crack something that she hasn't done and that I haven't done. I really think it could be huge."

Meera Syal found returning to 'Goodness Gracious Me' like "putting on a pair of comfortable slippers".
The hit BBC Two sketch show - which made stars of Meera, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Nina Wadia - will return for a one-off special later this month to celebrate the channel's 50th year on air, and Meera felt as though no time had passed when the cast reunited.
She said: "It did feel like putting on an old pair of comfortable slippers, getting back together with everybody."
'Goodness Gracious Me' aired for five years from 1996 to 2001 and the stars feel the show is still relevant as no other show has filled its role in entertaining British-Asian audiences.
Meera said: "There has been nothing else like it since, so we didn't feel that there was loads of stuff we had to worry had come in between that we might repeat."
Sanjeev added: "Sketch comedy over the last 10 years has gone very surreal. You can write a sketch about a guy who's turning into a moose, who has oven mitts for hands. Our stuff was always reflecting society, as well as being funny and satirical. I don't think there's been anything quite like that on TV [since]."
There'll be plenty of laughs when the hit show returns, and there may even be enough footage for another episode as the stars wrote and filmed more sketches than they needed.
Sanjeev told ITV's 'Lorraine': "It's a half-hour show and we had just short of an hour's material that we shot. Once we got together and started writing, we found that the ideas flowed."
The one-off special of 'Goodness Gracious Me' airs on BBC Two on Monday 26 May.
