Miley Cyrus is ‘feeling much better’

Billy Ray Cyrus says Miley Cyrus is "feeling much better."
The 21-year-old singer was hospitalised on April 15 after suffering a severe allergic reaction to Cephalexin, an antibiotic prescribed for the flu, and was forced to reschedule a number of 'Bangerz' world tour dates, but is finally ready to get back on stage.
Her father told reporters backstage at the iHeart Radio Music Awards on Thursday (01.05.14), where he picked up the Best Lyrics prize for her song 'Wrecking Ball' on her behalf: "She's doing much better, thank you for asking. You know, right now we're just getting her back, healthy. She had an allergic reaction to antibiotics. She's feeling much, much better. The tour resumes this weekend, and the 'Bangerz' train is back on track."
The 'Adore You' hitmaker will take to the stage in London next Tuesday night (06.05.14) for the first time since being hospitalised.
Miley rescheduled the final six dates of the US leg of her tour, and the first two dates of the European leg after her doctors advised her not to travel.
Earlier this week, the star admitted her health issues had really scared her.
She said: "I was on this medicine for five days and everything was all good and on the sixth day, I just woke up, it was so scary. I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn't know I was really scary allergic to.
"I couldn't breathe and my skin - everything - was going insane."

Matt Smith joins ‘Terminator: Genesis’ cast

Matt Smith has joined the cast of 'Terminator: Genesis'.
The former 'Doctor Who' star is set to play a new character, with a strong connection to central character John Connor, in the upcoming reboot, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke and 'Lawless' actor Jason Clarke.
The fifth instalment in the series, which is being directed by Alan Taylor, went into production last month and will be released in July 2015, according to Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions.
The cast also includes Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.
The 31-year-old British actor, who can be seen next on the big screen in 'Lost River,' directed by Ryan Gosling, alongside Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan and Eva Mendes, quit his role as the titular Time Lord on the BBC sci-fi series at the end of last year, and previously admitted he was eager to explore bigger opportunities.
He said: "I'd always talked about leaving after the 50th anniversary. It's a very intense process to play the Doctor. The line learning is really hard, and you have to live away from home for nine or 10 months a year. I love the show, and it wasn't an easy choice to come to, but it's the right time for both of us."

Lily Allen celebrates birthday with designer gifts

Lily Allen celebrated her birthday with a family meal at home today (02.05.14).
The 'Hard Out Here' singer, who has turned 29, took to Twitter to tell her followers she was leaving the social networking site alone to celebrate her birthday weekend.
However, it appears she couldn't stay away for long as she later posted a number of photographs of her gifts and a yummy buffet lunch laid across her dining room table.
She showed off gifts from friends and family, along with a Chanel backpack from designer Karl Lagerfeld, which is accompanied with the caption: "Thanks uncle Karl !!!!! @chanelofficial I LOVE it. (sic)"
To start the day, Lily, who has two children Ethel, two, and Marnie, 15 months, with husband Sam Cooper, posted a snap of herself in bed, with the message: "Birthday lie in", before setting up her kitchen table with Disney plastic plates and party food to share with her daughters.
Her favourite birthday gift so far has been a yellow smiley face plastic bracelet, which she showed off to her 340,000 followers on her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, the pop star, who has launched her comeback album 'Sheezus' following a four-year hiatus, admits she missed the perks of fame during her brief break.
She said: "I missed the rush of performing. I missed the free clothes and handbags and the good tables in posh restaurants. I did!''

Justin Theroux has ‘drunken tattoo nights’

Justin Theroux has "drunken tattoo nights" with Scott Campbell.
The 42-year-old actor, who has a number of inkings across his body, has etched a few designs on the famous artist in the past but he admits he was under the influence of alcohol, so the artwork didn't go according to plan.
Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, he explained: "We became friends first, and then we had a couple drunken tattoo nights. And I've tattooed him, too, by the way ...
"I've done a bunch of them. I did a really great wolf's head. I did an amazing skull and crossbones. I did a stunning yin-yang on him. I messed every single one of them up. But he kind of likes it. I did a yin-yang, which is probably one of the worst yin-yangs. We laughed so hard. It might be one of the worst yin-yangs ever made. A little bit egg-shaped."
The hunky star's tattoos are plastered across his back and legs, but he insists he doesn't regret any of them.
He explained: "Not one [of them I regret]. I'm riddled with them; I'm ruined with tattoos."
Justin prefers to let Scott, who is married to Lake Bell, come up with the designs because he's got better ideas.
He added: "I get a couple of little ideas, but I know Scott's taste is so much better than mine ... so I usually throw out a few buckshot ideas, and then let him go back to the lab and scribble out a couple of drawings ... He did my entire back, and I've never looked back. I was just, like, 'Do whatever the hell you want. You lay it out how you want.' He's got such an incredible aesthetic."

Nicole Richie will keep chickens

Nicole Richie has persuaded Joel Madden to let her keep chickens.
The 32-year-old fashion designer wants to encourager her children Harlow, six, and Sparrow, four, to eat organic foods, so she's bought the feathered bird to produce eggs.
Speaking to Us Magazine, she said: "I just convinced my husband to let me get chickens so we're getting hens. They're coming in a few weeks, actually."
The purple-haired beauty has also turned her back garden into a vegetable patch to ensure that her family are consuming home-grown raw foods.
She explained: "I just started growing our own garden. I'm home a lot and we're growing our own fruits and vegetables. There's so many things in food right now and it's important for people to know and be educated on whatever they're putting into their body."
However, it's not just Nicole's determination to eat healthily that is impressive as her choice of outfit while doing the gardening couldn't be more fitting.
She said: "I love wearing my little vintage peasant dresses, but I garden in the morning and I'm really cold in the morning. I end up with a North Face [jacket], my husband's baseball cap, colourful sweatpants that I slept in the night before, and leopard slippers."

The 'Goodies' singer and her fiancé Future are due to welcome their first child into the world any when now, and the pair are certainly prepared for their baby's upcoming arrival as they've already selected a moniker for him.
Ciara explained: "I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn't second guess it."
The 28-year-old star admits her pregnancy has been "very easy", but she can't wait to meet her new bundle of joy.
She said: "I didn't even know what to expect [with the pregnancy], but it's been a very easy process. And it's been so much fun. Honestly, it's been the coolest experience in my life. Being able to know that I can do that is such a blessing. I'm literally obsessed with kids, so I'm excited about being able to have my own to obsess over."
The blonde beauty has been getting mothering tips from her friend Kim Kardashian, who gave birth to her daughter North last June, and she's found their conversations useful.
She told Us Magazine: "We [go] over really personal stuff from the woman's side of things. We've had great conversations and it's been really cool."

Prince Harry joked at gym

Britain's Prince Harry was seen "laughing and joking" hours before his split from Cressida Bonas was made public.
The 29-year-old royal and the 25-year-old socialite are believed to have ended their two-year romance earlier this week, but the prince didn't seem too upset as he worked out with a personal trainer in London on Tuesday (29.04.14).
A source at The Third Space gym told Us Weekly magazine: "Harry was at the gym at 6 p.m., working out with his trainer Winston [Squire]. He'd spent the day at the Invictus Games selection event, and was still wearing his Invictus T-shirt. He'd even brought a sweatshirt for his trainer with Invictus on it, which he handed over at the end of his workout.
"He didn't look down or depressed at all. He was laughing and joking with his trainer like he usually does and had a big smile on his face."
Harry joined the gym in November for physiotherapy sessions and regularly enjoys working out there.
A source previously said: "Harry says he finds it really hard to shift weight round his middle, so that's his main aim.
"Other than that, he just wants to increase his fitness. At the moment he's mainly been doing circuit-style training but he's been in the boxing room, and his trainer is getting him ready to start some sparring."

Kasabian: We’ve trained for 10 years for this album

Kasabian feel they have been "training 10 years" to make their new album.
The band - made up of frontman Tom Meighan, guitarist Serge Pizzorno, drummer Ian Matthews and bassist Chris Edwards - launched their new record '48:13', named after the record's running time, at Abbey Road Studios in London yesterday (01.02.14).
Serge, who wrote and produced the album, said: "We kept everything direct musically and tried to combine electronical, hip hop and late 60s rock and roll.
"It feels like we've been training 10 years for this. I hope you enjoy the record."
Tom joked it was the "speech of the year" and later spoke of his excitement ahead of the band's debut headline set at Glastonbury Festival this summer.
Asked about rumoured fellow headliners Metallica, he said: "They're amazing, who [else] do people want, The Beach Boys?"
The experimental new record features tracks including 'Bumblebeee', which was named by Serge's three-year-old son Ennio, along with 'Glass' and 'Treat'.
Songs 'Explodes', 'Clouds' and 'Bow' are some of the stand out tracks on the record, along with new single 'Eez-eh' and S.P.S, which Tom claims is about Serge's love for him.
The band's fifth album '48:13' will be released on June 9.

Ella Henderson: Ryan Tedder has ‘formula’ for hit record

Ella Henderson thinks Ryan Tedder has a "special formula" for making hit records.
The 'Ghosts' singer says the One Republic frontman has helped her to make a "big record" when penning her debut album and thinks he has a special talent for songwriting after scoring number one singles for the likes of Leona Lewis and Beyonce.
She told the latest issue of Wonderland Magazine: "I wanted to make this big record and have it played worldwide, and he knows a special formula to write songs like that".
Ella rose to fame after making it to the live finals on 'The X Factor' in 2012 and although she lost out to winner, James Arthur, she went onto sign a recording contract with Sony.
Now the 18-year-old singer claims the two years spent making her album has helped her to discover her own sound and she is determined to take control of her career.
She mused: "I don't wanna copy anyone, I didn't want to do a retro record. I wanted to do something new, and fresh.
"In the beginning I was open to anything, but you figure out what your sound is, and when you go into sessions there's certain things you have to be open, and honest on. When it comes to my music, when it's your job, you can be cutthroat about things."

Gemma Collins gives Arg and Lydia her blessing

Gemma Collins has definitely moved on from James 'Arg' Argent.
The bubbly blonde insists she's turned the page on her romance with her 'The Only Way Is Essex' co-star and would be happy for him if he got back together with his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
The 33-year-old star finally faced up to the fact the ITV2 show's resident joker still had feelings for his ex when Lydia turned up unannounced to a party seen in the final episode of the last series of 'TOWIE', marking her first appearance on the show since 2012.
Gemma - who has just launched her Spring/Summer 2014 clothing collection - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Me and Lydia have always got on really well. It's great to have her back on the show and I welcomed her with open arms. It was a shock and I cried because seeing Arg's reaction to her, I realised he has never had that reaction when he's seen me.
"Emotions were running high, it was our last filming for 'TOWIE' and we'd all had a drink. You realise you love someone and it's quite clear they're not really that bothered by you. I can't hide my feelings, what you see with me is what you get.
"So deep in my heart I'd be really happy for them if they got back together. I've moved on in my life. It feels like a mother letting their child go!"
The reality star-turned-designer has been dating older men since filming ended and has vowed to stay away from Arg because they're off better as friends.
Gemma explained: "We are such great friends and I do adore him so much, but I don't know what's going to be written in the stars for us. Since filming ended, I've been on the dating scene, I've been on a couple of dates with older men. I haven't even thought about Argent.
"I love him to bits but we are better off as friends. If he came to me and said, 'I love you, I do want to be with you', then maybe, but I don't think its going to happen. He is younger than me. To be fair, Elliott [Wright] is probably more my type now."
Gemma Collins' SS14 Collection is now available from www.gemmacollinsofficial.com.
