Selena Gomez is excited to take control of her life.
The 21-year-old star, who split from Justin Bieber again after a brief reconciliation last month, says she is taking her power back after jetting off on holiday following a difficult few months, during which cancelled her world tour December, sought treatment in rehab in January and dumped her parents as her managers in April.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker shared a picture of herself in a bright yellow bikini looking happy and relaxed on a beach on Instagram, and wrote: "Taking my power back.. can't wait to show you where I've been. I love y'all (sic)."
In a bid to assure her fans that she hasn't completely changed, she jokingly added: 'Ps, I still obsess over pickles."
A source previously revealed that Selena, who recently started going to Church every day, is focusing on writing new music and her best friend, Taylor Swift, is encouraging her to write songs about 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker Justin, 20, to help her get over him for good.
The insider said: "Taylor's been encouraging Selena to write down her feelings and emotions, and record."
The 'Spring Breakers' beauty also received some relationship advice from Jennifer Aniston while they were having dinner with their agents at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles last Saturday (17.05.14).
An eyewitness said: "Jennifer was definitely giving Selena love advice. I overheard both of them say Justin's name and Jennifer was doing most of the talking and Selena was doing a lot of nodding.
"They were pretty much talking to each other the whole time, while the two guys were in their own conversation."
Sophie Ellis-Bextor's husband lost his mobile phone while riding a roller-coaster.
The pop star and her spouse, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, went to Thorpe Park theme park in Surrey, England, on Monday (19.05.14) for a preview of the attraction's new Angry Birds Land.
The musician - who has three sons, Sonny, 10, Kit, five, and Ray, two, with Sophie - was having a great time but was left red-faced when he forgot to keep his phone safe when riding the Nemesis Inferno and when he told Sophie about his mishap she took great pleasure in teasing him.
A source told BANG Showbiz: "Richard went off for a couple of hours to enjoy the various rides, but didn't take advice to keep his personal belongings safe on the Nemesis Inferno which has a vertical loop and corkscrews. He looked a bit sheepish when he told her his phone was gone but Sophie thought it was funny and gave him a ribbing."
The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant and her family are massive daredevils and travel the UK visiting theme parks and Sophie even organised for her oldest child Sonny to celebrate his 10th birthday at Thorpe Park last month.
Thorpe Park's Angry Birds Land opens on May 24 and rides include a 4D Experience and the Detonator: Bombs Away - a 100ft rapid drop tower ride.
Channing Tatum feels "lucky" he didn't become a teenage father.
The 34-year-old star - who has 11-month-old daughter Everly with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum - was a stripper when he was 18 in Tampa, Florida, and is relieved he didn't succumb to any of the temptations around him.
He said: "There's so much salacious and dangerous stuff going on around you, but it's fun at the same time, as a 19-year-old kid - money, women, a good time. I'm lucky - I don't have a drug addiction, I didn't get anyone pregnant. I probably got really lucky."
The 'Magic Mike' actor admits being a stripper was like an "alternative reality" because of the diverse mix of people around him.
In a new interview with America's GQ magazine, he said: "They're just so out there you're in an alternate reality. Even as a 19-year-old kid, I just couldn't believe this world I was in.
"These guys, some of them are really cool, some of them are completely, like, hippies, some are completely meatheads and steroid-crazy freakazoids, other ones are stuck in the '80s, and some of them are an everyday Joe that has a construction job, and some of them are businessmen. One guy was an attorney during the day."
Chris Martin insists him and Gwyneth Paltrow have "got to" hang out together.
The Coldplay frontman has been spotted with his estranged wife - who he split from in March after 10 years of marriage - several times since they split at the end of march, most recently on Mother's Day (11.05.14) in Malibu, and refused to quash talk of a reconciliation.
In a video posted on gossip site TMZ.com, a reporter asked: "Are you and you guys back together?"
He responded: "Why'd you ask that?"
He then added: "We gotta hang out you know."
Despite their separation, the former couple - who took their children, Apple, nine, and Moses, eight, on holiday to the Bahamas when news broke of their split - have been seen together several times in recent weeks, including at the actress' 'Iron Man' co-star Robert Downey Jr.'s birthday party last month.
And it was recently revealed the pair will continue living together in the Malibu property as it includes "two totally separate" living spaces.
While it is not known why they decided to split, Chris previously hinted he struggled to accept the good things in his life.
He said: "If you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way...."
Drew Barrymore wanted to create a "real stable home" for her children.
The 39-year-old actress - who didn't see much of her father John when she was growing up as he split from her mother Jaid before she was born - says the most important thing to her is for her daughters Olive, 20 months, and Frankie, two months, to feel "safe" with her and their dad Will Kopelman.
She said: "[I want to create] a real stable home. "I know when my daughter wants to swing higher and jump into the pool and all of these things, she feels safe. To make your kids feel safe is everything."
The 'Blended' actress says it was important for her to have a sibling for Olive because she would have "really liked" to have a brother or sister herself.
And Drew is delighted with how well her eldest child has adjusted to the new arrival.
Showing off her new baby in People magazine for the first time, she said: "Olive loves Frankie and just wants to hang out with her all the time.
"She wants to feed her. She's super into it. That's now. I'm sure things will ebb and flow."
The 'Whip It!' star admits it can be tricky to tend to both her daughters' needs as their schedules are so different.
Asked the biggest challenge of having two kids, she said: "Just being split. They're awake and asleep at different times, or awake at the same time, and it's a juggling act a little bit."
Stacy Keibler never expected to have children.
The former wrestler even told her parents she wouldn't marry or have a family, but changed her mind after just a few dates with Jared Pobre, who she married in a surprise ceremony in March, weeks before announcing her pregnancy.
She said: "Before we met, both Jared and I had told our parents we didn't think we'd ever get married or have kids, but when you're with the right person, everything changes
"My epiphany happened shortly after Jared and I started dating and, once we both knew, we didn't hesitate -- I just knew I was ready and that there's no one else in the world I would want to do this with."
The 34-year-old beauty - who previously dated George Clooney - couldn't be happier with Jared and thinks he'll make a great father.
Speaking to Fit Pregnancy magazine, she said: "Jared is the most thoughtful, loving, kind person. I couldn't ask for a better father for my children.
"Our bond is so strong and special and getting pregnant has made it even more so. It's been so much fun preparing to become new parents together."
Britain's Prince Charles was unimpressed with a cross-dressing comedian's impersonation of Queen Elizabeth.
The 65-year-old royal and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall have been caught on camera looking thoroughly disturbed by funnyman Wade Lynch's spoof of his mother during an event in Charlottetown on Canada's Prince Edward Island on Monday night (19.05.14).
The couple visibly struggled to conceal their anger as the joker told the crowd: "There are two members of our audience that call me by quite another name and that is of course "Mummy." Hello kids. Surprise."
The stern-faced pair barely managed to muster up some half-hearted applause following the act, which was cut in half due to "time constraints", according to Wade.
The comedian has now apologised for his tongue-in-cheek performance, which was branded "tasteless" and "shameful" by the public, explaining he was initially reluctant when he was approached by Tourism P.E.I. to entertain the royals during their visit to the Commonwealth country.
Wade told Canada's Guardian newspaper: "I said yes to the idea with trepidation. My concern was it sounds tacky...at first blush, it sounded like a bad idea. I understood it was no surprise at all...that they (Charles and Camilla) were in on the joke.
"I produced a script many weeks ago that went through many filters. If the actual Royal family was offended, I am really sorry because that was never the intention."
Frank Skinner will miss his son's second birthday to film 'Doctor Who'.
The comedian, who is a lifelong fan of the BBC sci-fi drama, has landed a cameo appearance in the upcoming eighth series of the show - but fulfilling his dream of appearing in 'Doctor Who' has come at a personal cost.
Speaking on his Absolute Radio show, he said: "I thought about being in 'Doctor Who' about every four-and-a-half minutes years before this happened! However, I'm afraid I've gone deep into 'bad dad' territory, because in order to be in 'Doctor Who', one of the filming days is [son] Buzz's birthday. So I'm having to miss it.
Frank went on to quip that he will pick a new date to celebrate his son's birthday.
He joked: "I'm hoping it will be OK. The plan is to just make another birthday. We could just pick any date we like!"
The 57-year-old star - who also admits he missed his son's first steps because he attended a screening of 'Doctor Who' episode 'Remembrance of the Daleks' - was overjoyed when he was asked to make an appearance in the new series, which marks Peter Capaldi's first as the Time Lord.
He explained: "I was in Nando's when I got the phone call to say that I had got the part. I went outside and there were loads of people around, it was a sunny day ... I'm on the phone and he was telling me that I got the 'Doctor Who' job and I did a football volley mime, a really big one."
Mark Wright has kept 'Coronation Street' favourite Tina McIntyre's killer a secret.
The reality TV star, who is engaged to actress Michelle Keegan, was on set for his fiancée's final scenes - in which Tina plunges to her death after being pushed by a mystery assailant - and is one of the few people who knows the top secret soap spoiler.
Michelle revealed to ITV's 'This Morning': "I know who the killer is. We did film different endings, but the longer version [we filmed] was who did it."
"I haven't said anything to anyone. Does Mark know? Well, he was there when we filmed it. But to be fair, he hasn't told anyone. He's been really good!"
Four suspects will be in the frame for Tina's murder and viewers won't have to wait long to find out who kills her, as their identity will be revealed in next Tuesday's (27.05.14) episode.
The potential murderers include Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), Carla Barlow (Alison King), Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis).
Meanwhile, Michelle, 26, is moving to Essex to live with Mark, 27, but she admits they still aren't ready to move in to their new house.
She said: "I've not moved down yet, he keeps saying two weeks, but that was three months ago! It's taking ages for the house to go through - but yes, I am moving down."
Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine is pregnant.
The 30-year-old actress - who plays Fiz Stape in the ITV soap - is expecting her first child with restaurant manager Chris Farr.
Jennie shared the happy news on Twitter earlier today (21.05.14), writing: "We have some news to share. Chris and I are expecting an addition to our family. Very happy x (sic)"
Many of Jennie's 'Corrie' co-stars shared in her baby joy, with departing star Michelle Keegan - who plays Tina McIntyre - leading the well wishes.
She tweeted: "@jenniemcalpine arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh JEN!!!!!! SO SO excited for u!! Congratulations! Amazing news!!!!!! Xxx (sic)"
Fellow 'Corrie' parent Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt), who has two children with fiancée Lauren Shippey, added: "@jenniemcalpine knew it! Well done! X (sic)"
Soap newcomer Tisha Drew Merry (Steph Britton) wrote: "@jenniemcalpine yeyyyyyyy!!!! Congrats jen!! Xx (sic)"
Jennie has been dating Chris since 2005 and the couple even opened a restaurant together in 2012.
The fiery-haired actress has been at the centre of a dramatic plot in 'Corrie' as Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) recently discovered that Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) is the person behind a series of malicious texts, which they feared were from Tyrone's abusive ex Kirsty Soames.
Matt Smith has vowed to return to 'Doctor Who'.
The 31-year-old actor bowed out of his role as the titular Time Lord in last year's Christmas special, but he can't wait for the next special anniversary episode so he can reprise his role as the Eleventh Doctor.
Speaking at this year's Calgary Expo fan convention, he reportedly said: "I'm just waiting for the next anniversary. I spoke to Steven [Moffat, executive producer] the other day and said, 'What's the quickest one we can do?' "
Matt hopes to celebrate the next anniversary of the show by bringing back the past 11 Doctors to join new incarnation, Peter Capaldi.
He added: "I love the idea of other Doctors coming back. Also that gives me the opportunity to come back, which I totally will, by the way!"
All 12 Doctors were seen together in last November's 50th anniversary special of 'Doctor Who', which was titled 'The Day of the Doctor'.
The new series of the BBC sci-fi drama will begin on BBC One in the autumn, with Peter being joined by Jenna Coleman as his companion.
Guest stars in the new episodes include comedian Frank Skinner and 'Line of Duty' actress Keeley Hawes.
Quincy Jones has blasted the new Michael Jackson album 'Xscape'.
The legendary producer - who masterminded some of the late singer's biggest hits - thinks the posthumous recording was only released to "make money".
He said: "It's about money. They're trying to make money. And I understand it. Everybody's after money, the estate, the lawyers. It's about money.
Quincy admitted it "bothers" him to see so much of the 'Thriller' star's previously-unreleased music being made public but has learned to accept it has nothing to do with him.
Asked if he was bothered by the recordings, he told Jian Ghomeshi's 'Q' talk show on CBC Radio: "Yeah, but it's not my business anymore. They're not our business."
Quincy's comments come months after he launched a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit in relation to the recordings released after the 'Billie Jean' stars death in June 2009.
He alleged master recordings he had worked on were wrongfully edited and remixed so as to deprive him of back-end profit participation.
He also claimed he had been denied credit for his work and that MJJ Productions and Sony Music have entered into deals taking profits that should have been included in the calculation of royalties.
