Wiz Khalifa arrested in Texas

Wiz Khalifa was arrested for marijuana possession this morning (25.05.14).
The 26-year-old rapper was detained at an airport in El Paso, Texas, after officers from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) allegedly found a "green leafy substance" in his luggage before he boarded a flight to Dallas.
A law enforcement source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 'Black And Yellow' hitmaker, who has 14-month-old son Sebastian with wife Amber Rose, was taken into custody and turned over to local police.
The 'We Dem Boyz' rapper shared several images online from behind bars, including a "jail selfie" in which he appeared to not be wearing any trousers.
Despite creating the hashtag "FreeTrapWiz," on Twitter and poking fun at the incident, he later hinted that he was becoming increasingly frustrated.
He tweeted: "I wanna drop 28 Grams but they got me locced up. Soon as I get out, the tapes comin out. Fucc that (sic).
"They're tryna figure out how many grams I had. How ironic (sic)."
Wiz recently admitted his pre-concert ritual is to "smoke a lot of weed" and also claimed he spent about £10,000 a month the drug.
But the star insisted he doesn't think his fans should emulate him.
He said: "I don't say, 'Yo, get up and do that.' I said that's what I do, and I tell you what I do while I'm doing it. I'm not trying to push drugs on anybody."

Kanye West rants for 20 minutes at wedding

Kanye West thinks the Kardashian family are "the most remarkable people of our time."
The 'New Slaves' hitmaker gushed about his new wife, Kim Kardashian, and her famous family during several lengthy speeches at their wedding at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday (24.05.14).
During one 20-minute "public warfare" rant, the opinionated rapper talked about the perks of pitfalls of their celebrity status, saying: "They feel like it's okay to put you on the tabloid covers to sell your image, to use you in an 'SNL' ('Saturday Night Live') spoof. We don't negotiate. We're not like that. We're not stupid.
"The Kardashians are an industry!
"At this table...the combination of powers...can make the world a better place. The most remarkable people of our time."
An insider told UsMagazine.com that the couple's 200 guests weren't surprised by Kanye's decision to speak several times, adding: "We all knew those would be coming. It would have been disappointing if it didn't happen."
The 'Blood On The Leaves' hitmaker also repeatedly praised his "beautiful" bride, calling her "the ideal celebrity... the ideal art," and said he was looking forward to "spending every day of my life with Kim."
The couple, who have 11-month-old daughter North, partied until 2.30am after tying the knot in front of a wall of flowers at sunset.
Guests included rappers Common, Big Sean and Tyga, and John Legend provided the entertainment at their reception.
The insider said: "It was just the most perfect night. And for all the talk about it being over the top or crazy -- it really wasn't! It was just the most beautifully put together, chic, intimate celebration. I don't think anyone will forget it.
"[The ceremony] was beautiful. Absolutely magnificent. The music was perfect - Kanye was very happy!"

Emma Willis warns Big Brother hopefuls

Emma Willis says 'Big Brother' won't turn everyone into a celebrity.
The TV beauty - who has been part of the reality show since 2010 -admitted she still gets a huge buzz from her job but sounded a warning to hopefuls thinking the programme will make them famous.
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's You magazine: "The last series had such a brilliant impact - it felt like everyone was watching it again. We do five days a week, for three months, live - jobs like that in TV are rare.
"The live aspect is terrifying, but I want to be scared - It stops me getting complacent ... I love [the housemates] - they're normally bonkers.
"But if you want to be a celebrity and you think 'Big Brother is going to do that for you, it's not. You either go on to win the money or for the experience."
However, Emma insisted it was a "ballsy" decision to appear on the programme's sister show 'Celebrity Big Brother', pointing to the likes of Lee Ryan who struggled to cope with being in the spotlight.
She said: "It's quite ballsy of some people do it it because it can ruin them ... Lee ... Lee ... he's a funny one.
"He's like a 14-year-old at school who is thinking with, erm. the wrong part of his body. He made great TV but he didn't really help himself."

Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt set for Bond girl role?

Joanne Froggatt is in line to become the next Bond girl.
The 'Downton Abbey' actress - who stars as head housemaid Anna May Bates in the hugely successful period drama - is reportedly being considered by 007 bosses as they cast the 24th adventure of the fictional British spy.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "The days are now counting down to the casting of the Bond girls.
"Everyone in the UK has been asked to keep quiet about their audition. Joanne is seen as a huge talent, whose acting makes her a real stand-out candidate."
It is said her experience on 'Downton Abbey' is a huge selling point for bosses as they look to find the right actress for James Bond's next big screen appearance.
The insider added: "Her role in 'Downton' will be a world away from Bond and that is what makes it so appealing for casting agents.
"Joanne is attractive but this time producers want a gritty woman who will be a match for 007."
In the past, the 33-year-old actress also played teenage mother Zoe Tattersall in 'Coronation Street'.

Arctic Monkeys have scrapped new album plans

Arctic Monkeys have scrapped plans for a new album this year.
The 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High' rockers had initially intended to make a quick follow-up to 2013's critically-acclaimed LP 'AM', but now have no definite plans to return to the recording studio in the near future.
Bassist Nick O'Malley told NME Magazine: "We did have the chat but I don't think it's going to be happening. There are no plans for another record.
"I think people might want to forget about the Monkeys for a while.
"But who knows? We'll have a bit of time off and someone will say, 'Fancy doing another one?'"
The group think it is important to take some time off as they fear getting burnt out and "psychotic".
Nick said: "We've been doing this constantly for quite a while and it's important to have a break. Otherwise you burn out and get a bit psychotic."
And frontman Alex Turner says he is still to "wrapped up" in 'AM' to begin thinking about what the group do next.
He said: "I don't know what happens after the tour ends. I'm still pretty wrapped up in 'AM'. We're still slapping each other on the back for that one."

Rupert Grint’s secret singing talent

Rupert Grint was "surprised" to learn he can sing.
The 25-year-old actor shows off his musical talents in 'Postman Pat: The Movie' - in which he plays the titular character's talent show rival - and thought it would be "a laugh" to record his vocals, but didn't realise he could actually carry a tune well until he heard the finished track.
He explained to Dev on Radio 1: "I was surprised, I thought it would be a laugh, I didn't take it too seriously but it came out alright, I was quite surprised when I heard it."
However, Rupert - who shot to fame playing Ron Weasley in the 'Harry Potter' movie series - insists he has no intention of embarking on a music career.
Asked if he'll release an album, he said: "I doubt it. It's hard, I don't know how people do it."
Rupert was delighted to be a part of the 'Postman Pat' movie because he was such a fan of the original TV series when he was young.
He said: "It's a very different kind of Pat to what I knew, he enters an 'X Factor'-style show and tries to pursue a career in music, and I play his rival.
"It's great, I'm proud to be a part of it because Postman Pat was one of my heroes when I was a kid."

John Mayer has crush on Lea Michele

John Mayer has a crush on Lea Michele.
The 36-year-old rocker, who split from Katy Perry three months ago, has reportedly been texting the 'Glee' star nonstop and wants to go on a date with her.
A source told America's Star magazine: "John's had a crush on Lea for a while. He constantly tells her how beautiful she is."
But while Lea, 27, is very flattered by the attention, she isn't interested in dating anyone just yet following her boyfriend Cory Monteith's tragic death from a heroin overdose last July.
The insider said: "She just wants someone to have fun with. She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him."
Lea recently opened up about her secret romance with 'Glee' co-star Matthew Morrison before they started working together on the hit show in 2009.
She wrote in her new autobiography, Brunette Ambition: "When we shot the pilot [for 'Glee'], I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."

Ed Sheeran converting police station into youth club

Ed Sheeran has bought a police station to convert it into a youth centre.
The 'Sing' hitmaker has spent more than £1 million as he looks to give back to his home town of Framlingham, Suffolk after crediting the local community with getting him started in music.
According to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, he said: "I'm really excited about the project.
"I had a youth club from when I was 12 when I grew up which did a battle of the bands every week and that's where I and other bands started playing."
When the centre closed its doors, the 23-year-old star moved to London - but he has his heart set on returning when he retires and hopes he can help lay the foundation for a new club and community for the town's youngsters.
He added: "The land the club was on was sold ... and I just went off to London and did shows instead.
"Now there are no youth clubs and noting to do so it's a bad situation.
"The plan when I get older is to end up running that - so I have pretty much planned my retirement."

Tinie Tempah praises ‘beautiful Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Tinie Tempah says Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are "humble people".
The '5 Minutes' rapper met the famous couple at the BAFTAs and described them as "very beautiful", insisting they made me realise it is possible to be a star "without become a real a-hole".
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine, he said: "I met Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the BAFTAs.
"They're both very beautiful people, in every sense - the aesthetics are amazing - but I always looked for humility in these kinda stars and they really are humble people.
"They offer you hope that you can reach the heights of stardom without becoming a real a-hole."
However, Tinie was less than impressed with Gary Barlow, insisting despite his talent "as a songwriter" he has lost respect for the Take That star after it emerged he'd been caught up in a tax avoidance scheme.
He insisted: "That tax thing is a bit annoying. Actually, it makes me angry because I pay my taxes.
"Apparently there are people fighting Barlow's corner saying, 'Let him keep the money'.
"Like, really? I respect him as a songwriter but not as a taxpayer."

Adele set to join The X Factor?

Adele has agreed to become a judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Skyfall' singer is reportedly set to join the panel of the TV talent show - although she won't commit until she has finished working on her new album, so fans shouldn't expect to see her until at least 2016.
An insider told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Adele is a huge fan of the show and has agreed to be a judge. Simon wanted her to join him and [Cheryl Cole] on this year's panel.
"Although she has turned him down due to album commitments she has promised to sign up as a judge in the next few years.
"She really wants to join the show, even if it is just for a one-off year. Although no contract has been signed, Adele has made it clear to Simon she's up for it when the time is right."
The Grammy Award-winning star is expecting to release her third record later this year, with plans to tour in 2015 and join 'The X Factor' once she's available.
The source said: "Adele hopes to release her third album. She will then take out 2015 to tour but said an 'X Factor' spot for 2016 is possible, with 2017 more likely."

Travis Barker shares home with ex-wife

Travis Barker still shares a home with his ex-wife.
The Blink-182 rocker split from Shanna Moakler in 2008 after four years of marriage, but they are now on good terms and try to make things easy for their children, Landon, 10, and Alabama, eight.
The former Playboy model - who has joined the cast of VH1's 'Hollywood Exes' - said: "It took a long time, but we're in a good place. He's an incredible dad and we have a pretty cool custody agreement - we share a home and alternate staying there so the kids don't have to leave."
Shanna is now in a relationship with a "normal guy," and admits she disliked being married to a famous person.
She told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Being married to someone on that level is challenging. People think they know what's going on behind closed doors and have strong opinions about your relationship. It can be horrible."
Shanna recently joined reality show 'Hollywood Exes', stemming from her marriage to Travis, as well as her previous relationships with boxer Oscar de la Hoya, rocker Billy Idol and actor Dennis Quaid.
