Charlize Theron claims she will remember Seth MacFarlane on her deathbed.
The 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' star, who is dating Sean Penn, admits she always admired the actor, writer and director from afar and is glad he has become a close friend.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "The most flattering thing you could say to me is that I could be a match to him. I am a huge fan and have been for many, many years."
She added: "He's definitely the kind of person that from afar fascinates me. Then you have this opportunity to know someone, and when they don't let you down, that's such a gift. The thing you remember when you're 80 and lying on your deathbed is that. I'll remember the friendship and working with Seth on this movie."
The 38-year-old blonde beauty previously credited the 'Family Guy' creator for reigniting her love of acting.
She recently said: "I'd gone through like a two-year period where I wasn't really enjoying making movies anymore. And this movie really just shook me and made me realise how much I love it. I owe a lot of that to Seth."

Rihanna and Drake have reportedly split up again.
The on-again, off-again couple, who rekindled their relationship in February after briefly dating in 2009, have allegedly called off their romance after a series of arguments.
A source told UsMagazine.com: "Rihanna and Drake had another fight. He is too in love with her, which has always been the problem. They have been fighting, but that could all change any day now. It is how it always is with them."
Another source said they are "currently on yet another break."
The 'Stay' hitmaker, 26, and the 27-year-old 'Hold On, We're Going Home' singer had been inseparable in recent months and friends insisted last month that they "were always meant to be together."
One insider said: "They got on so well and have always had a special connection from the moment they met...and now they have found each other again, everyone just feels like this is it.
"Their friends are so happy that they're together. There's a real feeling among their inner circle that they were always meant to be together. They really are made for one another. Everyone knows it. And Drake could not be happier. They couldn't be better suited."
The pair were first spotted out together when Rihanna joined Drake at Soixante Dix Neuf nightclub in Paris in February, shortly after the rapper admitted she was his dream girl.
He said: "I mean, I think about it. Like, 'Man that would be good.' We have fun together. She's cool and s**t. But we're just friends. That's my dog for life."

Kelly Rowland and Tim Witherspoon are too busy to go on honeymoon.
The former Destiny's Child star and her manager tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Costa Rica last Friday (09.05.14), but are already back to work.
A source told PEOPLE.com: "Kelly was really happy, Tim was happy, and it was a great break for everybody from the normal grind, but now they're all going back to work."
The 33-year-old singer and her new husband invited just 30 guests, including her former bandmates Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams, to their island ceremony, which took place in two private residences.
The insider also said the couple kept their wedding simple and didn't have bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, as well as her sister, Solange Knowles and boyfriend Alan Ferguson were also there for the festivities, but the 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker's husband Jay Z, who was attacked by Solange at a Met Gala afterparty in New York City on May 5, was not present, as he stayed home with their two year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Kelly previously insisted she wanted her nuptials to be a low-key affair.
She said: "I think we really just want it to be us and our pastor. That's it. I mean, we are the only two that [are] going to be in the marriage."
The 'Kisses Down Low' singer was previously engaged to footballer Roy Williams, but they split in January 2005.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are set to make $21 million from their upcoming wedding.
The couple - who have 11-month-old daughter North together - will tie the knot in Paris on May 24 and are reportedly "cutting deals left and right" in order to profit from their lavish nuptials, even though the event won't be filmed for 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'
A source told In Touch magazine that the 33-year-old reality TV star is allowing the E! network to capture "everything leading up to and after" their big day.
The insider explained: "She's taping everything else so she can get things for free in exchange for the exposure.
"They realised how much their wedding was costing, so they told E! they wouldn't allow parts of it to be taped unless the network offered them more than $15 million, which is what Kim got for her wedding to Kris [Humphries].
"Her mom couldn't help herself either. Kris [Jenner] is trying to get them another $4 million for their wedding photos."
Kim recently let a camera crew film her Parisian-themed bridal shower at the Beverly Hills' Penninsula Hotel, where a source said that everything was "paid for or sponsored by brands that wanted exposure."
Kim and Kanye - who got engaged last October - previously insisted their wedding would be small and intimate, with just their close friends and family present, but her show's producer Ryan Seacrest believes it will still be an "amazing" affair.
He told Access Hollywood on Monday (12.04.14): "Here's what I would guess. It would be one of the most amazing ceremonies that has ever been had. I think that we'll all sort of smile and love that fact that you can see how much he adores her and she adores him."

Beyoncé appears to be having a tattoo in honour of Jay Z removed.
The 'XO' hitmaker got the Roman Numerals 'IV' inked on her left ring finger to symbolize her and her husband's wedding date, April 4, 2008, as well as their birthdays (his is December 4, while hers is September 4), but sparked speculation she has been undergoing laser treatment to fade the romantic body art after she was spotted with a pink scar on the spot at a basketball game in New York on Saturday (10.05.14).
The 32-year-old star, who has two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with the rapper, also posted a picture of herself on Instagram a few weeks ago with a small bandage over the area where the tattoo was located.
Footage emerged earlier this week of Beyoncé's younger Solange Knowles throwing kicks and punches at Jay, 44, in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York after attending a Met Gala after party on May 5.
Beyoncé was also present but remained passive throughout the altercation.
The trio have yet to comment on the dispute, but the 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker hinted on Wednesday (14.05.14) that she is standing by her sister, 29, and shared four snaps of them in happier times in the space of half an hour on her Instagram account.
The flood of photographs came just 24 hours after it was reported Solange had deleted all pictures of herself and Beyoncé, bar one, from her own profile on the social media website.

Hilaria Baldwin insists she and Alec Baldwin have a very normal relationship.
The brunette beauty, 30, claims they lead very "simple" lives even though her 56-year-old husband, who was arrested after he was caught riding his bicycle the wrong way down Fifth Avenue in New York City on Tuesday (13.05.14) before going "ballistic" at the two arresting female officers, is worth an estimated $65 million.
She told Elle magazine: "Do people think we eat, like, gold cereal in the morning? We're really simple, simple, simple people. We grocery shop; we wash our own dishes. We do most of the things that most people do."
Hilaria, who has an eight-month-old daughter, Carmen, with the former '30 Rock' star, even did her own laundry while they were on holiday in Hawaii recently.
She said: "I hand-washed my clothes every single day, because that was easier than going to a Laundromat. I went to Kmart, and I got one of those dry-hanger things and hung my clothes and hung the baby's clothes. And babies make a lot of laundry, so my hands were pretty rough."
The yoga instructor and Extra correspondent wants to expand their family soon, as her first labour was a "magical" experience and Alec was extremely supportive in the delivery room.
She added: "He was so fantastic. He had one leg; the nurse had the other; the doctor was in the middle, ready to catch the baby. He was in charge of giving me oxygen and bringing my leg up and down. He was coaching me.
"You never know until that moment whether your partner is going to be a good partner or not. I didn't think he wouldn't be, but I was really surprised how he was."

Olivia Munn is dating Aaron Rodgers.
The 'Newsroom' actress, who split from 'RoboCop' actor Joel Kinnaman recently after two years together, was spotted introducing her new NFL star beau to her friends over the weekend.
A source told UsMagazine.com that the brunette beauty, 33, was all over the 30-year-old Green Bay Packers player as they dined with pals at Nobu Malibu in California on Saturday (10.05.14).
One eyewitness said the group sat at a big table together, but the couple appeared to be very intimate, as they laughed and stole kisses throughout their meal.
The duo were photographed hanging out at 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last month, after they spoke on stage together.
News of Olivia and Joel's breakup became public two weeks ago but sources previously confirmed they broke up "a few months ago" after their globe-trotting careers put a strain on their romance and they are still good friends.
An insider said: "They were actually close friends before they even started dating, so they've been able to stay really good friends even through the breakup. It's just made things much easier for both of them."

Alec Baldwin's arrest was an "unfortunate situation," according to New York City's Mayor.
The 56-year-old actor was handcuffed and taken away in a police car on Tuesday (13.05.14) after he was caught riding his bicycle the wrong way down Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, before going "ballistic" at the two arresting female officers.
But City Mayor Bill de Blasio voiced his support for the former '30 Rock' star on Wednesday (14.05.14) and told the New York Post's Page Six that the actor had some "important and thoughtful things" to say about the city in his rant on Twitter following his arrest.
Alec was taken into custody and given two summons, one for traffic violation and a second for disorderly conduct, after he failed to provide identification following his arrest.
He was released shortly afterwards and shared his account of the incident on his Twitter page, writing: "Officer Moreno arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave."
The actor also used the opportunity to lash out at police for failing to protect his wife, Hilaria, and their eight-month-old daughter, Carmen, tweeting: "Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing. (sic)".
Alec also has 18-year-old daughter Ireland from his previous relationship with Kim Basinger.

Emily Blunt thinks her husband John Krasinski is "the greatest dad."
The 31-year-old actress, who gave birth to her first child, Hazel, with the 'Monsters University' star in February, says he has developed a very close bond with their daughter.
The 'Edge of Tomorrow' star told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Wednesday (14.05.14): "He is the greatest dad. She loves him, just loves him."
Emily is also absolutely besotted with their baby girl.
She said: "She's just stinking cute. Yeah, she's so cute. She came out like ready for a photo shoot. She was like... just perfect."
The British beauty, who tied the knot with John in Italy in July 2010, admits it took them a long time to find a name for the baby.
She said: "I find it very stressful naming a human being."
They eventually decided on Hazel after John found the name because "we both really like old lady names."
Meanwhile, Emily credits breast-feeding for helping her to lose weight after giving birth.
She said: "No, I don't know if other mothers had this, but I have found breastfeeding to be the thing [to lose weight]. My boobs also thought I had 12 children... I found that because I managed to produce a lot of milk, I don't know why, it helped me lose the weight."
She jokingly added: "I could have been the wet nurse in medieval times because I could have fed the village while they all went to work," adding that her breasts were like "two enormous heads."
John, 34, released the first picture of their three-month-old daughter on Twitter on Tuesday (13.05.14).

Khloé Kardashian isn't completely over her split from Lamar Odom.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star hinted she is still struggling to move on from her estranged husband, just hours after he was denied access to a West Hollywood nightclub where she was partying with her new boyfriend, French Montana, who was making a special guest appearance.
The 29-year-old beauty wrote on Twitter on Wednesday (14.05.14): "Still hurts... Maybe it always will"
She posted the cryptic message after Lamar, 34, was turned away from the Los Angeles hotspot Penthouse on Tuesday night (13.05.14) by French's bodyguards, because they feared the NBA star would start a fight with the Moroccan-born rapper, real name Karim Kharbouch.
An E! camera crew from Khloé's reality show captured the entire incident on film sparking rumours Lamar is still under contract with the network, but a spokesperson for the club told gossip website TMZ.com that Lamar's rejection was not a set-up for the series and they merely wanted to avoid a possible altercation between Lamar and French.
An eyewitness also told E! News Lamar was seen walking by the black Range Rover in which Khloé and French were having a conversation after he was rejected.
Minutes later the new couple entered the club and French tweeted a picture of him inside with Khloé's older sister, Kim Kardashian, with the caption: "Shout out to my BFF @kimkardashian for coming out tonight party was turnt up (sic)."
Khloé began dating French, 29, last month after filing for divorce from Lamar in early December, following months of rumours he was addicted to cocaine and cheated on her with multiple women.

Angelina Jolie's children have "hysterical" ideas about her wedding to Brad Pitt.
The couple - who got engaged two years ago - are allowing their six kids, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and twins Knox and Vivienne, five, input into their big day and the 'Maleficent' actress admits her brood want an unconventional celebration.
She said: "We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be.
"Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding.
"It's going to be Disney or paintball - one or the other!"
The 38-year-old beauty says raising a family has changed her nine-year relationship with 50-year-old Brad.
She told the new issue of People magazine: "You're not lovers or boyfriend and girlfriend as much as you are a family."
Angelina underwent a double mastectomy last year after learning she carries the BRCA1 gene, which means she has a high chance of contracting breast cancer, and says having the procedure makes her feel "more connected" to other women.
She said: "I'm really happy about the choices I've made and I feel even more connected to other people, especially women."
