Ariel Winter guardianship case resolved

Ariel Winter's guardianship case has been resolved.
The 'Modern Family' actress - who plays Alex Dunphy in the series - will remain in the care of her older sister Shanelle Grey, who took on temporary custody of the 16-year-old star in 2012 after she claimed her mother, Chrisoula Workman, was physically and mentally abusing her.
At a hearing yesterday (05.05.14), Chrisoula agreed Ariel could continue living with her sister - if she watched a video montage of family photographs in court.
The young actress and other members of her family - including Chrisoula and Shanelle - sobbed as the video played, and then Superior Court Judge Daniel Murphy signed off on the custody agreement.
The judge advised it would be up to Ariel to decide if and when she would visit her mother, but he would keep jurisdiction over her care until she turns 18, and her father Glenn workman will remain in control of her finances.
After the hearing, Chrisoula - who vehemently denies abusing her daughter - and Shanelle issued a joint statement.
They said: "The family has moved beyond the conflict."
The statement also thanked well-wishers and said the family are working toward reconciliation.
Since moving in with her sister, Ariel has claimed she is much happier.
She said previously: "My life is definitely more normal - and that'll help me grow up like I'm supposed to."

Boy George: Moss romance is a ‘mystery’

Boy George's relationship with Jon Moss is a "mystery".
The 'Karma Chameleon' hitmaker thinks it is "weird" that there is no longer any "proof" he and his Culture Club bandmate - who has three children with ex-wife Barbara, who he split from in 2010 - were romantically involved until 1986, but insisted they are still close.
He said: "Our relationship is like a mystery. It's like, we know it happened, but there's not really proof anymore, it's kind of weird. We're really good friends now."

Meanwhile, George admitted he thinks Justin Bieber is "gorgeous" and believes he and Miley Cyrus are so successful because of their androgynous appearances.
He explained: "[Justin Bieber] is gorgeous! ... I was in the store the other day and I was looking at Miley Cyrus and I was thinking, actually she has a kind of androgyny about her and similarly does Justin Bieber. And I think some of the biggest kind of stars have that kind of boy-girl thing."

She said: "I'm so happy as the baby's been moving more. When I'm lying in bed, it starts kicking and then I don't want to go to sleep as I'm too excited.

"I do prefer walking outside but I don't always want to go out on my own. I'm determined to do it for an hour each day so I think I'll just put my tunes on at home and hit the treadmill.
"I've always been active and this idea of not doing anything bothers me, so this is a good option for pregnant me."

Lady Gaga kicks off ArtRave tour

Lady Gaga kicked off her 'ArtRave: ARTPOP Ball tour' in Florida on Sunday night (04.05.14).
The 'Applause' hitmaker ditched her usual grunge style and took to the stage in a cute polkadot latex leotard and fishnet tights at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale before going through a number of costume changes.
She later opted for a shoulder-length platinum blonde wig and futuristic white gown, a jewelled leotard with a blue orb in the centre of her chest, and also dressed up as a giant squid in another polkadot number.
The 27-year-old star, who is touring to support her 'ARTPOP' album, took to Twitter ahead of her first show and posted: "I can't believe the show is tonight, been dreaming about it since I wrote the first song for the album. I love you monsters. LETS PARTY (sic)."
Gaga performed hits such as 'Just Dance', 'Bad Romance', 'G.U.Y', 'Swine', and 'Applause', along with her new song Donatella, which she sang for the first time in honour of her fashion designer friend, Donatella Versace, and another new track, Partynauseous.
The singer later described her sold out show as one of the "most incredible experiences of my life" and praised her fans, nicknamed 'little monsters'.

The singer will continued her tour tonight (06.05.14) in Atlanta, followed by a number of US shows in the likes of Madison Square Garden in New York and the Staples Center in Los Angeles before moving onto the UK.

Calvin Harris: I can still live a normal life

Calvin Harris insists he can still live a normal life despite being famous.
The superstar DJ, who has a weekly residence at Hakkasan club in Las Vegas, claims he only really gets noticed in the UK and America when he's with his pop star girlfriend Rita Ora.
Calvin explained: "I need to be in LA because I have a gig in Las Vegas every week.
"Now I have to cope with all this hot weather and sexy people.
"I'm lucky I can get to do music and do well and still do normal stuff unless I'm out with the missus - then I get a lot of attention."
But the star, who has been dating the 'R.I.P' hitmaker on/off since May last year, insists he doesn't have to deal with being in the spotlight too much because the couple don't see each other very often.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "We see each other like four days every two weeks, so it's like an issue when she's around. We'd probably get sick of each other if we had a whole month (together)."
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old DJ is celebrating his sixth UK number one with new track 'Summer', which sees him return to the microphone.
He explained: "I had two albums out before the last one, where I used to sing every song.
"(Now) if I have a song that I think suits my voice, I'll just do it myself. Most people don't even know it's me who sings."

Prince Harry twerks at wedding reception

Britain's Prince Harry twerked up a storm at his friend's wedding in Memphis, Tennessee.
The 29-year-old royal reportedly couldn't be dragged away from the dancefloor at the reception following Guy Pelly's wedding to Lizzy Wilson, which was held at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club over the weekend.
One guest told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Harry hit the floor pretty much as soon as the band started playing and was twerking into the early hours."
It seems Prince William wasn't shy about showing off his moves either and both brothers insisted the live band keep playing until the guests started to leave.
The "wild" bash culminated in the elder royal jumping onto the stage and grabbing the microphone from the lead singer.
Frontman Jimmy Church enthused: "Oh man, they wouldn't let us stop. They kept saying 'play another.' Prince William said he wished we could play for another three hours. They were having a ball. I was really shocked by William.
"We thought he would be laid-back, enjoying it but not really getting in to it. At first I asked him to get up on stage with me and he said 'No.' Then later he jumped up and started singing 'Shout' with me. He was dancing and jumping in the air. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"I've never played a party with so much energy. This was wilder and the kids weren't holding back. That's the wildest party I've ever played."
While William's behaviour seems out of character, it comes as no surprise that Harry can party with the best of them since the redhead famously came under fire in 2012 when naked photos were leaked of him enjoying a game of strip billiards in Las Vegas.

Robbie Williams wants Britain’s Got Talent role

Robbie Williams wants a role on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The 'Candy' singer isn't really a fan of singing shows so won't be following his fellow pop stars Kylie Minogue and Ricky Wilson's lead by accepting a mentoring role on 'The Voice', but could see himself on the judging panel of the eclectic ITV talent contest instead.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I've never seen 'The Voice'. Think I'd be best on 'BGT' to be honest. I like that one a lot."
Rumours that Robbie was one of the stars being lined up to replace Kylie and Ricky on 'The Voice' alongside veteran mentors Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am have been circulating since he revealed he has no plans to rejoin 90s boy band Take That for their next album and tour.
Should the 40-year-old star get his dream 'BGT' gig, he thinks his opinions would be too controversial and are bound to land him in hot water with show boss Simon Cowell.
He laughed: "Those TV shows are a great way to promote your music. But it probably wouldn't take me long to get in trouble as I've got a big mouth.
"I often say things that get me into loads of trouble."

Megan Fox didn’t plan children

Megan Fox's children weren't planned.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress has joked husband Brian Austin Green is no longer allowed "anywhere near" her after unexpectedly falling pregnant with sons Noah, now 19 months, and Bodhi, two months.
Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' yesterday (05.05.14), she said: "The first one wasn't planned either and I mean, we can't let Brian near me anymore."
The 27-year-old beauty also praised the host as a "fertility good luck charm" as her pregnancies came so close to previous appearances on her show.
She said: "The first time I was here I was pregnant and no one knew it and then the second time I just had my baby, but I got pregnant again so you're sort of like a fertility good luck charm."
Because Megan - who showed off the first pictures of Bohdi on the show - had just begun filming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' when she found out she was pregnant with her youngest son, she admits her first trimester was difficult as she was constantly fighting nausea while shooting action scenes.
She said: "I got pregnant with Bodhi two weeks into filming 'Ninja Turtles', which is an action movie and requires a lot of running and jumping and stunts and so I spent the entire...anyone that's been pregnant know your first trimester can be pretty rough and you're nauseous all day long.
"So I spent the whole shoot basically [being nauseous], the producers would come see me in the morning in the make-up trailer and I would be clinging to a box of saltines and we had, we kept pickles in the refrigerator for me and I was just constantly on the verge of vomiting.
"[I was] running, jumping, fighting. Saying things like, ''Show me what you got Shredder!' Stuff like that, so all the fun things you want to do when you're pregnant."
