Laura Whitmore has achieved dreams

Laura Whitmore has achieved her career dreams.
The 28-year-old presenter feels "very lucky" to have already landed some of her ideal jobs and can't wait to see what the future holds.
She said: " I'm very lucky and have already ticked off many of my dream presenting jobs! I've always wanted to present the Brit Awards so to be able to do that was fantastic.
"And as a child I grew up watching 'CD:UK' and 'SM:TV' with Ant and Dec so the fact that I get to be on the same screen as them for 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! NOW!' is amazing. New shows are being made all the time so I'm excited to see what's next...watch this space!"
Though the Irish beauty adores her job, she admits some days she has to force herself to get in front of the camera.
She told BANG Showbiz: "The best part of my job is that I get to do what I love every day. It's a challenge and it's exciting but I can't imagine ever getting tired of it. The bad part is that some days you just don't feel like being on camera and you have to be."
And though she admits things don't always go to plan when she's presenting live TV, she insists that's part of the "fun".
She added: "I've had a few live TV disasters but half the fun of a job like mine is how you cope with those situations."

Siobhan Finneran wants Downton Abbey return

Siobhan Finneran wants to return to 'Downton Abbey'.
The actress would love to reprise her role as scheming lady's maid Miss O'Brien in the ITV period drama and can see it happening if the right storyline came along.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I'd love playing her but she'd have to go back for some reason. I'd love to return and wreck the Bates' marriage or something like that.
"Miss O'Brien was so wicked, bitter, horrible and vile but she was funny as well as being very, very, sharp. Maybe one day O'Brien will fly back on her broomstick to cause mischief and mayhem."
Siobhan quit the popular drama in 2012 to pursue other acting projects, swiftly landing a role in 'Benidorm'.
But it seems the 48-year-old star's wishes could come true since she has now left her role as Janice Garvey in the comedy series, with her on-screen family also being written out of the cast.
She explained: "We just felt it was time for us to say goodbye."
'Downton Abbey' creator Julian Fellowes previously revealed he hoped fan favourite character Mrs. O'Brien could make a return in the next series.
He said: "I'd love it if she did [return]. [In America] you can get actors for five or seven years. For some shows you have to sign a thing saying you are prepared for that when you go for an audition, when you haven't even got the part!
"We just don't have that. No agent will give you an actor for longer than three years in England."

Jennifer Lawrence: People will get ‘sick’ of me

Jennifer Lawrence worries fans will "get sick" of her.
The 23-year-old actress has been a big screen success in recent years thanks to roles in the 'Hunger Games' and 'X-Men' franchises, but knows she won't stay popular forever.
She said: "Nobody can stay beloved forever. People are going to get sick of me."
However, the 'American Hustle' actress admits she most worries about her behaviour away from the camera because she thinks she is often "annoying" in public.
She said: "I'm way too annoying because I get on red carpets and I'm really hyper, most likely because I've been drinking, and I can't not photo-bomb somebody if it's a good opportunity."
Jennifer - who is dating Nicholas Hoult - is trying to curb her behaviour as she is tired of her antics always being turned into amusing internet clips.
She added in an interview with the new issue of America's Marie Claire magazine: "It's something I always tell myself, 'You need to calm the f**k down. You don't want to constantly be a GIF.' "
It was recently revealed that Jennifer admitted to vomiting in front of Miley Cyrus after she and her best friend, Laura Simpson, got "wasted" at Madonna's star-studded annual Oscars after-party in Los Angeles.
An audience member at the taping of a forthcoming episode of NBC's 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' said: "Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna's after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, 'Get it together, girl!' "
The 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' star also got "trashed" at the pre-Globes Sony party held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in January.
She was also visibly shaking as she accepted an award at the Golden Globes the following night, and told reporters backstage: "I need to catch up on my drinking. I think that's why I was so manic. I normally have time to have a glass of wine."

The-Dream charged with assault

The-Dream has been charged with assault.
The 36-year-old producer surrendered to police yesterday (07.05.14) as he was wanted for questioning over an alleged attack on his former girlfriend Lydia Nam - who was eight months pregnant with their son at the time - two years ago.
He was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court and charged with assault, strangulation, harassment and reckless endangerment but was allowed to leave after posting $20,000 bail.
After leaving court, The-Dream - whose real name is Terius Nash - said: "I have nothing to say. It'll all come out. There are worse things in the world going on".
An attorney acting for the star, who wrote hits such as Justin Bieber's 'Baby' and Rihanna's 'Umbrella', told the judge his client was innocent and the accusations - which were not reported until November 2013 - stemmed from civil litigation and child support disputes.
However, police said the alleged victim didn't report the attack until so long afterwards because she was in fear of her life.
According to the criminal complaint, the songwriter "punched and choked" his then-girlfriend at New York's Plaza Hotel in April 2012 and threatened to kill her "like O.J. Simpson killed Nicole Brown."
The complaint further detailed that the producer allegedly pulled and dragged Lydia by the hair, twisted her necklace tightly around her neck to choke her, kicked and punched her in the head and grabbed her by the neck, pinning her to the wall and choking her again.
It was previously claimed friends of The-Dream - who also has a four-year-old daughter, Violet, with ex-wife Christina Milian and three other children with first wife Nivea - believe Canadian Lydia is a "vengeful woman" who has made the claims in order to extend her US visa.
According to law enforcement insiders, the 36-year-old musician was arrested last June in California following another alleged domestic violence incident against Lydia.
However, she refused to press charges so the case was rejected by the District Attorney.

Jimmy Page teases more Led Zeppelin releases

Led Zeppelin have hinted they may release more unheard material.
The band are due to release deluxe editions of their first three albums, 'Led Zeppelin', 'Led Zeppelin II' and 'Led Zeppelin III', on June 3, and now guitarist Jimmy Page has revealed he might put together compilations of rare songs in the future.
He teased in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine: "There's certainly more things that can be done. But these reissues took a lot of time, and I don't want to start proposing another project, because it'll take me another six months or a year."
Jimmy spent years scouring through the band's archives in a secret west London vault to find tracks that hadn't been heard by even the most hardcore of their fans, including a cover of 'Keys To The Highway' and versions of 'Immigrant Song' and 'Whole Lotta Love'.
He explained: "I was pretty diligent with my detection work. I asked a guy that runs one of the fanzines if he'd heard any of this material before, and he told me hadn't. That was a good feeling."
The group - also comprised of bassist John Paul Jones and singer Robert Plant - have launched an extensive reissue program of all nine of their studio albums in chronological order, each remastered by Jimmy.
However, they have ruled out all possibilities of a live Led Zeppelin show to coincide with the album releases.

Gerard Butler pulls out of Point Break remake

Gerard Butler has pulled out of the 'Point Break' remake.
The 44-year-old actor was due to step into the late Patrick Swayze's shoes in a reboot of the classic 1991 surfer heist film, but has opted out of playing central character Bodhi due to a scheduling conflict and unnamed "creative differences".
The rugged star was already committed to filming the sequel to 'Olympus Has Fallen' in London this autumn, so would have been unable to take part in the lengthy 'Point Break' shoot, which kicks off in June and is expected to last several months and be filmed at multiple international locations.
Director Ericson Core and producers are now scrambling to find a replacement for Butler since filming is still scheduled to start next month, The Hollywood Reporter claims.
The movie also stars Luke Bracey in the role of Johnny Utah, the FBI agent who infiltrates Bodhi's criminal gang, and Ray Winstone as his partner, Agent Angelo Pappas.
The roles were previously played by Keanu Reeves and Gary Busey respectively.
In a new twist, 'Point Break' will be updated from a surfer-scene setting to the world of extreme sports.
Kurt Wimmer - who penned 'Salt' and 'Total Recall' - has written the script, with Alcon's Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove producing alongside John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Wimmer.

Katie Price suspected Kieran Hayler was cheating

Katie Price suspected Kieran Hayler had been cheating on her "for weeks".
The glamour model launched into a foul-mouthed Twitter tirade yesterday (07.05.14) when she stumbled across her husband allegedly having a "full blown sexual affair" with her "homewrecker s**t" friend Jane Pountney, claiming it had been going on for seven months.
However, it seems Katie - who has only just discovered she is six months pregnant with her fifth child, her second with Kieran after baby Jett was born last August - had suspected her husband of 16 months was being unfaithful for a while and was stunned when her worries were confirmed.
A friend told The Sun newspaper: "Katie was concerned the spark seemed to have gone and had her suspicions something was going on. But when she confronted Kieran he always told her that
"Over the last few months Kieran was making snide comments about how she doesn't make an effort. He was moaning how she could be rude and coarse with him. It was obvious that the honeymoon period was over.
"She never believed Kieran would actually go through with anything. But the evidence started to build up."
Following the explosive outburst, during which Katie also branded her best pal Jane - who she has known since she was 15 - a "clone" and a "w***e", the feisty star issued a more pragmatic statement on her website, confirming she intended to divorce part-time stripper Kieran as soon as possible.
But Jane's husband Derrick had a different opinion after the foursome met for crisis talks yesterday afternoon at the Pountneys' home near Horsham, West Sussex, insisting Katie - formerly known as Jordan - and Jane had cleared the air and the infidelity was simply a "storm in a teacup".
He said in a statement: "There has not been a 'full blown' affair going on, it was more like a drunken kiss. There were tears shed here today.
"But Katie and Jane talked, they have been friends a long time and they are OK now. A lot of this drama has been a storm in a teacup and there are a lot of misunderstandings to sort out.
"This 'affair' has not really happened like it has been portrayed. I've known about it for about four weeks myself. All four of us are good friends, but things between Kieran and Jane just went a bit far."

Kim Kardashian disgusted by racism

Kim Kardashian is sickened by racism.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who has 11-month-old daughter North with her fiancé Kanye West - has turned her hand to political activism after "personally" experiencing acts of discrimination and realising how prevalent it is today's world.
She wrote in a heartfelt post on her blog: "To be honest, before I had North, I never really gave racism or discrimination a lot of thought. It is obviously a topic that Kanye is passionate about, but I guess it was easier for me to believe that it was someone else's battle.
"But recently, I've read and personally experienced some incidents that have sickened me and made me take notice. I realize that racism and discrimination are still alive, and just as hateful and deadly as they ever have been."
Kim, who is of Armenian descent, could be referring to an incident earlier this year when she was shockingly called a "n****r lover" by a teen on the streets of Beverly Hills, prompting Kanye to come to her defence and allegedly beat up the boy.
The 33-year-old beauty is determined to fight all kinds of discrimination and make a difference so that her daughter can grow up in a world free of prejudice.
She added: "I feel a responsibility as a mother, a public figure, a human being, to do what I can to make sure that not only my child, but all children, don't have to grow up in a world where they are judged by the color of their skin, or their gender, or their sexual orientation.
"I want my daughter growing up in a world where love for one another is the most important thing."
While Kim is yet to decide how to take action, she thinks talking honestly about the issue is the first step.
She added: "So the first step I'm taking is to stop pretending like this isn't my issue or my problem, because it is, it's everyone's ...
"It is our responsibility to give them a voice and speak out for those who can't and hopefully in the process, ensure that hate is something our children never have to see."

Eminem loves working with live musicians

Eminem thinks working with live musicians brings a "new element" to his shows.
The 'Rap God' hitmaker, who has announced a headline gig at Wembley Stadium in July, after being turned down for Hyde Park because he didn't have royal seal of approval, insists he's happy to be the first rapper ever to headline at the venue and can't wait to play with live musicians.
He told DJ Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1: "It's definitely better, it definitely brings a whole new element to it. There are more things to do with your hands. It's a whole different energy, it's louder, it's more in your face, it's more explosive. For me, music is about feeling and energy and all that.
"We always try to mess around with the order of things. There are certain songs that just, for some reason or another, they don't work as good live. You have to go with the ones that work best to perform live. Sometimes we'll [also] add ones in we haven't done in a while."
His next single 'Headlights' from his latest album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', is going to be released to coincide with the show.
Eminem said: "A lot of the times when we do the sound check I get to see the venue, but I know Wembley Stadium is huge."
The star thinks it's "incredible" he is able to do big shows when he wants and not have to tour for months on end, which he feels is a "blessing".
Eminem added: "I'm not saying I'll never be ready for that again, but right now, this is what's working for me."
Tickets for the Wembley show on July 11 go on sale on Friday, May 9 at 9am.

Seth Rogen reveals original Bad Neighbours script

Seth Rogen's 'Bad Neighbours' was originally supposed to be about a battle between "several buddies" and a frat party.
The 32-year-old actor hits the big screen in the comedy which follows him and his wife (Rose Byrne) as they move into a residential area before their lives are turned upside down when a frat party moves next door, which is drastically different to the original script.
He told collider.com: "It was originally much more about me and several of my buddies kind of messing with a frat. It wasn't really about me and my wife at all, she kind of had a much more traditional naggy wife, like almost the thing that we now make fun of in the movie- and the reason we make fun of it is because we ourselves fell into that trap in the first few incarnations of the script."
Rogen's wife Lauren Miller read the script and pointed out certain issues which made him reconsider the film's details.
He added: "And then we gave it to people the read, my wife read it, she was actually one of the ones who really pointed it out [laughs], like that's not how it would be."

Kanye West wants elite wedding security

Kanye West wants the services of the Republican Guard at his Paris wedding to Kim Kardashian.
The rapper is set to tie the knot to the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star on May 24 in the French capital and has put in a request to the French President Francois Hollande to use the country's official security forces who protect the highest national personalities and important foreign guests.
A source said: "He's asked his people to put in a request to French President Francois Hollande for the use of the Republican Guard, which provide his security.
"He's asked for some of the 3,200-strong team to be dispatched to him for the day and has offered to pay $1 million for their services."
Kanye reportedly wants their guests to be subjected to a pat-down and searched when they arrive.
The source explained: "They'll be twice as many security staff than guests and metal detectors at all entry points. Kanye's insists that everyone be checked. They will be monitored by CCTV and have phones and cameras confiscated."
The 'Bound 2' star also wants Paris airspace to be shutdown to prevent paparazzi getting exclusive shots of the big day.
A source told heat magazine: "Kanye is not only paranoid, he sees himself as the biggest star in the world and he wants to ensure that the city is prepared for 'the wedding of the century'.
"He wants to shut down Paris airspace on their big day and has even put in a request to the director general of the French Aviation Authority.
"His team are trying to warn him that it's unlikely to happen, but Kanye is convinced that their wedding is important enough.
With the couple spending millions of dollars, he believes it should be granted to them."

Nicole Kidman: Keith uses my Hawaiian name

Nicole Kidman says Keith Urban calls her by her Hawaiian name.
The 46-year-old actress was born on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and her Australian parents Janelle Ann and Anthony Kidman gave her the Hawaiian name Hokulani, which her country music star husband often uses instead of Nicole.
She explained: "My mum called me Hokulani. It means heavenly star. That's something no one really knows. Well, Keith knows it. He calls me Hokulani sometimes."
'The Railway Man' star - who has been married to Keith for eight years and was previously wed to Tom Cruise - admits she began acting at a very young age and used to use her skills to trick other children.
She said: "I used to tell the kids at school that I was born right on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. I was actually delivered in a hospital - but it sounded good and they believed me."
Despite being born indoors, Nicole claims she loves nature and enjoys living in Nashville, Tennessee because she likes the small-town feel to the city.
She added in an interview with Britain's InStyle magazine: "I'm very country at heart. I have a real desire to be outdoors, a desire for simplicity - a slightly slower, relaxed approach to life. A community, not a big-city feel. That's what I grew up with and that's what I prefer."
