Chelsea Handlers loves making men cry

Chelsea Handler likes to make one grow man cry every week.
The talk show host described herself as a "big insulter" and insisted she finds it "funny" to "abuse men" only to watch them come back anyway.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper's Culture magazine: "OK, yeah, I'm a big insulter. The more you abuse men, the more they come back. It's funny to watch.
"Then I realise I've taken it too far, because the person I'm insulting is about to cry. It's quite easy to make a grown man cry twice in one day, so I like to stick to once a week."
While some might consider it a cruel tactic in the name of comedy, the 'Chelsea Lately' presenter explained she quickly learnt that "everything is material" after telling other drink-driving offenders about her own arrest.
She added: "I started in stand-up when I told my drunk-driving arrest story to a class of other offenders, and they suggested I do comedy. After that I realised, everything is material."
Even friends and their personal stories - without changing their identities - made it into her book 'Chelsea Handler: Uganda Be Kidding Me'.
She revealed: "My girlfriend Hannah didn't speak to me for the first two months after the book was out because I told the truth of what happened in Africa. She was taking doxycycline, hallucinating and thinking the safari guides were going to rape us.
"First of all, I told her, if they're going to rape us, they're not going to do it the day we arrive. She asked me to change her name and I forgot. When she rang, I said, 'No one will connect the dots that you're the Hannah I'm friends with. No one knows who you are, don't worry about it.'
"She said, 'There are photos of me in the book that say 'Hannah' underneath them. I said, 'You know what? This is a bad connection. We'll talk gain in about two months' time.' "

Iggy Azalea has the support of fellow rappers

Iggy Azalea says fellow rappers like Kanye West have no problem with her style
The Australian star has been criticised by some fans of the genre for not being authentic - her rhyming voice is different to her speaking one - but she insisted none of her contemporaries could have foreseen the abuse she has received.
She said: "It would have been hard for [Kanye West] to fathom that anyone would want to have such a conversation with me.
"He is embedded in this world, he is not looking in on it from the outside.
"You know, I just read the Keith Richards autobiography and I thought it was so interesting when he pointed out that no American blues musicians ever accused the Rolling Stones of "imitating" their sound - but people were writing that stuff about them back in England."
Iggy has come under similar criticism, and she has pointed out that - in the exact same way - it hasn't been her fellow musicians who have been the ones attacking her.
She told The Observer newspaper's New Review: "You know the funny thing, I have never had any musician tell me that I wasn't authentic for being white and Australian. Not one.
"Even I had a warped perception of how I would be received in this business.
"What I've come to realise is that it's the people who write about the music - or who are outside it in some way - who have a problem with what I am doing. The only true insiders are the musicians themselves."

Jennifer Garner ‘never understood’ Ben Affleck’s gambling obsession

Jennifer Garner has reportedly "never understood" Ben Affleck's obsession with gambling.
The 41-year-old actor was reportedly banned from playing blackjack at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in April after he was caught counting cards and, although his spouse hates seeing negative things about him in the press, Jennifer is determined to support him the whole way.
A source told PEOPLE.com: "She never understood his gambling obsession and she doesn't want him to be in the news [for it], [but] she's the most patient wife ever and is still very much in love with Ben."
Meanwhile, the 42-year-old actress flew to Detroit in Michigan, where the Hollywood hunk is filming his new movie 'Batman vs. Superman', this weekend to celebrate nine years of marriage together.
Ben reportedly bought his gorgeous wife some expensive jewellery from Barneys in Beverly Hills last week to mark their wedding anniversary.
Meanwhile, prior to jetting to Detroit, Jennifer and her three children Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and Samuel, two - who she has with Ben - paid a visit to Charleston in West Virginia to see her family.
The brunette beauty was spotted watching a minor league baseball game with her parents, sister, and three children, on Friday (27.06.14), before sending her kids back to Los Angeles with their nannies.

Lamar Odom ‘jealous’ of Khloé Kardashian’s romance

Lamar Odom is reportedly "jealous" of Khloé Kardashian's new relationship with French Montana.
The reality TV star, who filed for divorce from Lamar in December after four years of marriage, spent her 30th birthday on Friday (27.06.14) in the company of her beau, but her ex-husband isn't happy about her new romance.
A source told the HollywoodLife.com: "While he wants nothing but for Khloé to be happy, he's jealous he wasn't there with her. He hates the fact she's with another man.
"He hasn't really come to grips that she's in what seems to be a real and committed relationship. It would be one thing if she and Montana were casually dating but this sh*t is for real and he's kinda p***ed."
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star was smitten with the 29-year-old rapper as they celebrated her milestone on a luxury yacht in New York with her family.
French - whose real name is Karim Kharbouch - saw it as an opportunity to spoil Khloé with over a $100,000 worth of gifts, including a $10,000 diamond gold grill, a $49,000 white Jeep and a $25,000 diamond ring.
Meanwhile, Khloé was left devastated last year when rumours emerged the sportsman was addicted cocaine and had allegedly cheated on her multiple times.
The former couple's divorce is yet to be finalised.

Sir Elton John: Jesus would’ve supported gay marriage

Sir Elton John believes Jesus would have been a supporter of same-sex marriage.
The 67-year-old singer, who is planning to marry his civil partner David Furnish next year, claims the Christian figure would have approved of gay members of the clergy if he was alive today because he was "all about love."
Speaking in an interview with Sky News, he said: "If Jesus Christ was alive today, I cannot see him, as the Christian person that he was and the great person that he was, saying this could not happen.
"He was all about love and compassion and forgiveness and trying to bring people together and that's what the church should be about."
The 'Your Song' hitmaker - who raises children Zachary, three, and Elijah, 20 months, with David - believes the church deserves praise for making progress over the last few years, but thinks there's still a way to go until the religious beliefs are more accepting of gay rights.
He said: "As long as I'm alive I will fight for people's rights."
Sir Elton is also planning to meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin during his next visit to the country, where he previously said "vicious homophobia has been legitimised", later this year.
He said: "I'm going to Russia in November, and I will try and meet Putin and I will try to talk to him. I don't know what good it will do. But unless you build a bridge - it's no good putting up a wall and saying I'm not talking to these people. The only thing that gets solved is by talking to people."

Shia LaBeouf’s actions down to fame pressure

Shia LaBeouf's recent erratic behaviour is reportedly down to a build-up of pressure from being a child star.
The actor's 2008 'Holes' co-star Siobhan Fallen Hogan believes his reckless actions have been spurred on his inability to deal with fame from such a young age.
Siobhan, who played Tiffany Yelnats in the Disney movie, told the New York Post newspaper: "I think there's a ton of pressure when you're in the acting business. It's hard growing up acting -- being a child actor. There's pressure to act the right way.
"And there's so much attention from the press that, if you make one wrong move, it's under a microscope. I can see that being hard for him."
The 'Transformers' star - who shot into the limelight at the age of 14 when he was cast in TV series 'Even Stevens' - was arrested at a Broadway theatre earlier this week for yelling offensive language and slapping people's bottoms during a performance of 'Cabaret' at Studio 54 in New York City.
Shia was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, and is set to appear in court on July 24.
Earlier this month, the hunk was also reportedly banned from The Local Peasant in Sherman Oaks, California, after he was allegedly caught peeing up against a wall.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Shia stormed out of a 'Nymphomaniac' press conference in Berlin, before arriving on the red carpet for the film's German premiere wearing a paper bag on his head that read, "I am not famous any more."

Kelly Osbourne gets head tattoo

Kelly Osbourne has got a tattoo on the side of her head.
The 'Fashion Police' co-host, 29, who shaved off part of her luscious locks last month, shocked fans yesterday (28.06.14) after she revealed her new bizarre inking - which reads "stories..." in purple writing - on Instagram.
The beauty - who is the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne - posted a picture of artist Dr Woo, from popular parlour Shamrock in Hollywood, completing the body art as she placed her hands on her stomach and carefully breathed through the excruciating pain.
However, Kelly was obviously pleased with her new look as she accompanied the snap with the cheeky caption: "Sorry mum and dad but I love it!"
Earlier on in the night, the bubbly star hinted that she was about to get a new tattoo after she posted a photograph of her holding a bottle of purple ink.
She wrote: "#oops what did I do tonight? (sic)."
Meanwhile, Kelly, who split from fiancé Matthew Mosshart in January, has reportedly grown close to Puff Daddy's stepson Quincy Combs, 23, recently.
A source said previously: "Kelly is single, but she's having a lot of fun. She's been hooking up with Quincy, her really good friend lately...
"It's not serious but he's really hot and he's very into her!"

Jessica Alba: Date nights are ‘essential’

Jessica Alba thinks it's "essential" to have date nights with her husband.
The 33-year-old actress has been married to her beau Cash Warren for six years, but she admits the pair regularly set time aside to enjoy each other's company.
When asked if she and Cash still go on dates, Jessica replied: "Yes! Absolutely. I think you have to. I think that's essential. [We do] anything. I mean, even watching TV and making popcorn. Other times having a 'staycation' and staying at a hotel down the street."
The 'Sin City' star - who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, three, with Cash - insist they have a strong relationship because they respect each other.
She told Parade magazine: "You know, I think we have an incredible amount of respect for each other and we value each other's opinion and time, and I feel like we're in it together, we're not petty with each other, and we communicate a lot."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty is busy juggling her acting career, motherhood and her eco-friendly business, The Honest Company, but she admits she has a fabulous team behind her to help her work everything out.
She explained: "It's hard [juggling my career]. I feel like I'm always compromising one thing over another. I have a really strong team at The Honest Company and my partners are incredible, so if I didn't have them to run the business when I'm not there, I'd be in trouble."

Beyoncé and Jay Z flash Justin Bieber’s mugshot on tour

Beyoncé and Jay Z displayed Justin Bieber's mugshot during the opening of their 'On The Run' tour.
The couple have sparked controversy after they poked fun at the 20-year-old singer at their Miami concert on Wednesday (25.06.14) when they flashed his snap on a huge screen during a montage of celebrity prison photos.
According to fans at the show, Beyoncé reportedly made a subtle dig at the 'Baby' hitmaker as the infamous image popped up, and she said, "Even the greatest can fall."
However, the troubled star wasn't the only one to feature in the montage as stars such as Tupac, Robert Downey Jr, Russell Brand, 50 Cent and even Jay, 44, himself made an appearance on the large screen.
It was previously revealed the pair - who have two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy - also treated fans to never-seen-before footage from their wedding day in April 2008.
The intimate clip showed Beyoncé, 32, wearing a traditional white gown - which was designed by her mother Tina Knowles - and veil, with the rapper in a smart tuxedo as they exchanged vows and rings and had matching IV tattoos on their fingers.
Another video showed the couple walking down the aisle as watching guests threw confetti at them.
The footage was shown towards the end of the couple's 41-song set - which saw them perform both together and separately - as they sang 'Young Forever'.

Lucy Hale splits from boyfriend

Lucy Hale has split from her boyfriend.
The 'Pretty Little Liars' actress has called time on her short-lived relationship with country singer Joel Crouse after their busy schedules put a strain on their romance.
A source told Us Magazine: "Lucy and Joel are done, it was hard with the distance. She's working a lot on 'Pretty Little Liars' and on music -- she debuted at the Opry [in Nashville, Tennessee] over the weekend. It got to be too much."
The former couple first sparked speculation they were dating in April after they were spotted together at a Laker's game in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old singer took to her Instagram account after the game to post a picture of her and Joel, 22.
She accompanied the snap with the caption: "First lakers game. Was really great teaching this one the rules of the game. And seeing him looking like a kid in a candy store @joelcrouse. (sic)."
The brunette beauty hasn't mentioned her ex-boyfriend on her social networking sites since June 15 when she wished him happy birthday.
She said on Twitter at the time: "Thank y'all for the bday wishes already. So kind. And also a huge happy birthday to Mr. @JoelCrouse see ya soon (sic)."

Dolly Parton receives award at Glastonbury

Dolly Parton received a surprise award at Glastonbury today (29.06.14).
The 68-year-old singer was presented with a congratulatory plaque by Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis and her manager Danny Nozell at the Somerset event in honour of selling 100 million albums worldwide.
She said after receiving her award: "I've been so busy making records for the past several decades, I didn't realise I had racked up so many sales. What a great honour to know that I have so many fans that have supported me through the years.
"Thanks to the RIAA [Recording Industry Association of America] for the acknowledgment and the plaque. I feel very honoured and proud."
The '9 To 5' hitmaker took to the Pyramid Stage just two hours after being presented with the award to perform her energetic set in front of over 200,000 adoring fans.
The blonde beauty, who was dressed in a white suit covered in rhinestones, belted out the lyrics to her hits 'Islands in the Stream', 'Baby I'm Burning' and 'Jolene', before performing the title track from her new album 'Blue Smoke'.
The bubbly star even got fans to sing along to her new song 'Mud', which she wrote especially for the five-day music festival, before briefly dashing off the stage and returning with Bon Jovi's guitarist Richie Sambora for a duet of 'Lay Your Hands On Me'.
Dolly finished off her 70-minute set by thanking the audience for their continuous support over the years and then rounded off with 'I Will Always Love You'.

Lily Allen’s daughter had life-threatening illness

Lily Allen's baby daughter was struck down with a life-threatening illness.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer feared for two-year-old Ethel's life after she was diagnosed with laryngomalacia - a condition that causes the larynx to collapse into the airway - when she was just 12 months old.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, she explained: "It's [the illness is] basically a problem with the throat. She was working so hard to breathe, to just exist really, and she wasn't really gaining any weight at all.
"Because all of the food she was taking on, she was just expending the energy on this breathing process.
"I was scared of losing her the whole time, all I wanted to do was just breast-feed her and to sit there in my chair with her and spend those precious hours into the night looking after your child."
The 29-year-old star - who also has 16-month-old daughter Marnie with her husband Sam Cooper - admits the treatment process for Ethel didn't run smoothly and she ended up being fed via a tube for eight months.
Lily - who suffered a stillbirth in 2010 - recalled: "When she was really, really little the doctors said she had to have an operation to correct it and then that didn't work so she had to have it again.
"And she was tiny, she'd lost so much weight and then as a result of that, because of what happened before with my previous [baby], it was just a really tough time."
However, the brunette beauty insists Ethel is "absolutely fine now".
