Lydia Bright hits out at Amy Childs

Lydia Bright has hit out at "disloyal" former 'The Only Way is Essex' co-star Amy Childs.
The 24-year-old boutique owner - who has returned to the hit ITV2 reality show after a two-year hiatus - was "hurt" by revelations that her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent had cheated on her with Amy, 24, at an ITV party and has no interest in making peace with her.
Lydia told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Me and Amy were never friends. I never knew her before 'TOWIE'. I don't have her number and I haven't spoken to her since. I wouldn't choose a friend like her. I don't think she's a very loyal friend. She's not really my kind of girl.
"It's unfortunate that she came into my life but then, equally, she's not really part of my life anyway."
Lydia also claims the pair made her feel "pathetic" after they denied the tryst when she confronted them during an episode of the show.
She explained: "I was very upset about it, naturally. I was more hurt because I had an inkling it was going on and I aired my concerns on the show with Amy.
"I confronted them and they said it wasn't true. I was made to feel like a pathetic girlfriend. I got upset because they let me go through all that when they knew it was true."
Although Lydia has no interest in making up with Amy she is prepared to clear the air with Arg, 26, whom she dated for four years.
She said: "I just want to reach a happy medium where we can be in the same room and not be biting each other's heads off."

Gemma Collins crashes Lamborghini

Gemma Collins crashed a £130,000 Lamborghini in Marbella.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the luxury sports car while filming as she scraped it against a wall, causing producers to lose their £2,500 deposit on the rental.
Gemma, 33, is seen driving the lavish car in tonight's episode of 'The Only Way is Marbs' but claims she didn't notice the damage - which also affected the arch wheel - as the engine was so loud.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Gemma was driving the car really confidently going round tight corners but ended up badly scratching it without even realising. She claimed the engine was so noisy that she couldn't hear anything.
"The car hire company was not happy and ended up docking the deposit."
Gemma's car troubles weren't the only bit of drama she got into during the 10-day trip to Marbella, Spain, as she also found herself in the middle of her gay best friends Bobby Norris and Harry Derbidge's relationship woes.
Harry admits to cheating on Bobby in shocking scenes to air tonight (25.06.14) and the heartbroken reality star is less than pleased that Gemma was aware of Harry's secret.
He previously said: "That was the start of everything. It got heated. She was in the middle. She basically knew more than I did.
"It looks like I'm about to throw my vodka and orange over her, but I don't throw alcohol around. I'll save that for the others. I'd much rather drink mine!"

Ronnie Corbett still misses Ronnie Barker

Ronnie Corbett still mourns Ronnie Barker nine years after his death.
The 'Two Ronnies' star admits he is still haunted by the death of his comedy partner in 2005 and even avoids driving down a road where he had his last conversation with him.
He said: "I miss him, yes, oh God! I can't drive along the street off St James's [in London]. I took a call from Ron ... he said, 'You know I'm going.' That was the last time I spoke to him."
Barker died from heart failure in 2005, aged 76, after refusing valve replacement surgery.
As well as his work with Corbett, the comedian became a national treasure following his roles in hit sitcoms 'Porridge' and 'Open All Hours'.
Meanwhile, Corbett, 83, admits he is more cautious about his health after being hospitalised due to a gall bladder issue in March.
He told LBC Radio: "I have been in the business for 62 years. It's a match made in heaven. I still enjoy a glass of wine."
Barker's 'Open All Hours' co-star Sir David Jason recently paid tribute to the late comic after reviving the hit show for a Christmas special last year.
David said: "We did feel Ronnie's influence when we were filming and when people first saw the photos of me standing in the shop doorway they said that for a second they thought it was Ronnie. I wear the same gear Ronnie wore and for a minute it's like, 'God, the old man is back!' "

Bob Dylan lyric sheet sold for $2.045 million

A lyric sheet for Bob Dylan's 1965 hit song 'Like a Rolling Stone' has sold for $2.045 million.
The draft was bought by an unidentified bidder at auction house Sotheby's on Tuesday (24.06.14) and the sale is reportedly a world record for a popular music manuscript, according to Associated Press.
The lyrics are written in pencil on four sheets of stationary from Roger Smith Hotel in Washington D.C and Sotheby's described the item as "the only known surviving draft of the final lyrics for this transformative rock anthem."
However, the sheets do feature some lyrics that were eventually taken out of the song, including the phrase, "...dry vermouth/You'll tell the truth" and a line about Al Capone, which also didn't make the cut.
The lyrics show Dylan's attempts to build a rhyme off of the "How does it feel" line with phrases like, "it feels real," "does it feel real," "get down and kneel," "raw deal" and "shut up and deal."
The draft also features some of the star's thoughts and doodles and was already expected to sell for between $1 million and $2 million at Sotheby's rock and pop sale, entitled, "History of Rock and Roll From Presley to Punk."
Although the seller was not identified, he bought the manuscript directly from Dylan and is said to be a "longtime fan from California".

Oscar Isaac for expanded Star Wars role?

Oscar Isaac's role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII' is to be expanded.
Producers are planning to beef up the 'Inside Llewyn Davis' star's part after leading actor Harrison Ford - who is due to reprise his role as Han Solo from the original trilogy - suffered a broken leg on set earlier this month.
While plot and character details are being kept tightly under wraps, it's thought Isaac is playing a descendant, or even the son, of Han Solo.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They are now beefing up Oscar's role to be bigger with Harrison injured."
Meanwhile, Lucasfilm and Disney bosses are scrambling to try and work around Ford's injury, which could make him unavailable for filming for up to six months.
Disney previously insisted filming will continue and Ford is only expected to be out of action for six-to-eight weeks. But the eagerly anticipated film could be faced with a dilemma if his recovery takes longer than expected.
It was previously claimed director J.J. Abrams could be forced to shut down production or make big changes to the script, which heavily relies on Ford's character.
The source added: "Shutting down the movie is impossible. The basic story line will not change that much."
The insider stresses, however, that there are no big changes expected to the plot but "the order of filming scenes could be shifted" to continue production in Ford's absence.
'Star Wars: Episode VII' is still expected to hit cinemas in December 2015.

Eli Wallach has died aged 98

Eli Wallach has died at the age of 98.
The actor, who was best known for starring as Tuco opposite Clint Eastwood in Sergio Leone's spaghetti western 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', has passed away, his daughter Katherine has confirmed to the New York Times newspaper.
Wallach began his film career in 1956 after 10 years of acting on stage and his portrayal of bandit chief Calvera in 1960's 'The Magnificent Seven' was regarded by many as his definitive role.
The character actor was never nominated for an Oscar during his 60-year career, but the Academy awarded the "quintessential chameleon" an honorary prize in 2011 for "effortlessly inhabiting a wide range of characters, while putting his inimitable stamp on every role."
Other films in which he starred include 'How the West Was Won' and 'The Misfits' but the actor previously claimed that strangers often recognised him for his role as Tuco and would whistle the distinctive theme tune of 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' to him.
The Hollywood Reporter quoted him as saying: "As an actor I've played more bandits, thieves, warlords, molesters and Mafioso than you could shake a stick at."
Wallach - who was married to 'The Shining' actress Anne Jackson - also had a successful career in light comedy and appeared in a number of TV shows including 'Mr. Freeze', in which he played the mad scientist and enemy of Batman.
The veteran actor's last role was in 2010's 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' at the age of 94.

George Clooney entertains future mother-in-law

George Clooney "gets along famously" with his future mother-in-law.
The 53-year-old actor spent the weekend with fiancee Amal Alamuddin and her mother Baria -who is foreign editor of Lebanese newspaper Al-Hayat and regularly appears on TV - at his villa in Lake Como, Italy and the trio had a great time together.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They say the only thing more intimidating than a huge Hollywood film star is a mother-in-law, yet George showed no signs of nerves. Baria has the ability to put anyone at ease and she was equally at ease around George.
"She is not your typical mother-in-law and back in Lebanon she is a star in her own right. They all get along famously together."
George and Amal, 36, are expected to marry in September and they reportedly spent part of Baria's visit scouting potential wedding venues.
A source told the Daily Express newspaper: "Amal and her mum were smiling, it was going pretty great.
"Amal's mum left the next day and at the airport they all just looked so happy."
One of the venues visited by the couple was the luxury Villa D'Este, which the couple were seen arriving at by boat.

Demi Lovato reveals her grandfather was gay

Demi Lovato has revealed her grandfather was gay.
The 'Skyscraper' singer - who is a vocal LGBT rights campaigner - was inspired by her late family member's bravery to come out in the '60s and has adopted his "spirit" to fight for the cause.
Demi made the revelation as she presented an award at Logo TV's first Trailblazers Awards to the 'Orange Is The New Black' cast last night (24.06.14).
She said: "I've never spoken about this before, but my grandfather was a trailblazer himself.
"He was brave enough to come out in the 1960s, and I feel that a lot of my spirit has come from him. He passed away a few years later and I only wish he could have been able to see all the progress that has been made."
The 21-year-old star - who was named the grand marshal of Los Angeles' gay pride earlier this month and is set to perform at New York's gay pride festivities over the weekend - also thanked the LGBT trailblazers for accepting her in to the community.
She said: "It's such an honor to be welcomed and embraced by the LGBT community, so thank you very much."
During the star studded event held in New York City former president Bill Clinton also honoured Edie Windsor, whose lawsuit against the federal government led to the Supreme Court overturning the Defense of Marriage Act in June last year.
Demi wrote on Twitter at the time: "Gay, straight, lesbian, bi..... No one is better than anyone else. What an incredible day for California AND for equality."

Gary Oldman apologises for offending Jews

Gary Oldman has apologised for offending Jewish people in his Playboy interview.
The 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' actor made the comments while defending the anti-Semitic behaviour of Mel Gibson during his recent interview with the magazine, in which he also referred to political correctness as being "c**p", but he's now spoken out to apologise to anyone he may have offended.
Referring to another remark in the interview, in which he stated that Hollywood is a "town run by Jews", he said: "I am deeply remorseful that comments I recently made in the Playboy interview were offensive to many Jewish people.
"Upon reading my comments in print - I see how insensitive they may be, and how they may indeed contribute to the furtherance of a false stereotype.
"Anything that contributes to this stereotype is unacceptable, including my own words on the matter."
The 56-year-old star - who also defended '30 Rock' actor Alec Baldwin over his alleged homophobic rant during his chat with Playboy - went on to insist that rather than being against the role of Jews in Hollywood, he was actually an admirer of their contribution to the movie industry.
According to a statement published on Deadline.com, he added: "If, during the interview, I had been asked to elaborate on this point I would have pointed out that I had just finished reading Neal Gabler's superb book about the Jews and Hollywood, 'An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews Invented Hollywood'.
"The fact is that our business, and my own career specifically, owes an enormous debt to that contribution."
"I hope you will know that this apology is heartfelt, genuine, and that I have an enormous personal affinity for the Jewish people in general, and those specifically in my life."

David Beckham and Tom Cruise spotted in London pub

David Beckham and Tom Cruise left fans stunned as they enjoyed drinks at a pub in Notting Hill, London.
The A-list pals opted against expensive restaurants and private members' clubs as they met up for a drink on Monday (23.06.14) at Irish pub The Cow, and their boozy visit sent regulars into a frenzy.
Patron Lisa Freid, who "couldn't believe" her eyes, snapped a sneaky picture which she posted on her Instagram account.
The eagle-eyed fan punctuated her photo by posting a series of hashtags including "#wtf #justnexttous #chilling (sic)".
Another Instagram user also took a picture of the actor and soccer star, writing: "Another Monday night at the pub with David and Tom".
Tom, 51, and David, 39, shared a bottle of wine, while the retired soccer star was also seen nursing a pint of Guinness ale.
The stars - who have been friends since 2003 - dressed casually for their drinking session and appeared in high spirits as they reunited.
The 'Mission: Impossible' star and his British pal became incredibly close when David and his wife Victoria, 40, moved to Los Angeles in 2007 when the soccer ace was signed by the LA Galaxy soccer team.
David recently confessed he and Tom held regular movie nights while he lived in the sunny city with his family.
He said: "When we were living in LA, Tom Cruise lived two minutes away. He's a good friend. There were occasions when I'd call him up and ask him if he had a new movie that wasn't out yet, and I'd go round and watch it with him."
