Chelsea Handler has signed a deal with Netflix to present a new talk show.
The 39-year-old comedienne has agreed to front the series on the internet TV network from early 2016 across all Netflix territories in the world simultaneously but will be working for the company this year and in 2015.
Speaking about the deal, Chelsea - who announced earlier this year she is bowing out from her E! Show 'Chelsea Lately' - said: "If I was going to continue working in this industry, I knew I had to do something outside the box to keep myself interested. I wanted to sit with the cool kids at lunch so I approached Netflix to make sure they were as cool as I thought they were, and when I confirmed my suspicions, like with any other future lover, I made my move. I'm more excited than I've been in a while, and the team at Netflix is the most forward-thinking, alert group I've sat down with in ages. No offence to the Shahs Of Sunset."
Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos says the company is delighted to have signed the comic, adding: "Chelsea has built a huge following on tour, on nightly TV and through her best-selling books and we can't wait to introduce her breathtakingly honest and irreverent voice to our global membership."
Before the revolutionary new series starts, Chelsea will appear in a special on-hour stand-up show - featuring her 'Uganda Be Kidding Me Live' routine - for Netflix which will be filmed at the Harris Theater in Chicago on June 20 and broadcast on October 10.
In 2015, Chelsea will film four docu-comedy specials for Netflix and will be followed by cameras as she tries to learn more about various subjects such as NASCAR, the workings of Silicon Valley and the NBA player draft.
Louis Tomlinson has completed his takeover of Doncaster Rovers.
The One Direction singer has bought his hometown soccer club together with former chairman John Ryan following a number of appearances as a player in the League One side's reserve team.
Ryan's spokesperson said of the deal: "It's done, the takeover is complete."
The 22-year-old pop star - who was born and raised in the town in South Yorkshire and has been a life-long fan of the team - was rumoured earlier this year to be planning a takeover bid.
He has also played for the side during a fundraising match for the Bluebell Wood charity and against local rivals Barnsley F.C. in a reserve match.
Meanwhile, businessman Ryan - who ended his 15-year association with Doncaster Rovers F.C. in November - is expected to be more hands on than the 'Midnight Memories' hitmaker.
The deal is said to have been delayed due to Louis' image rights, which are owned by his management team and would entitle them to a share of any money generated from the use of his image or name.
His team believe his ownership will increase interest in the club and are believed to have been battling for a share of any extra revenue made through merchandise and extra ticket sales.
Full details of the acquisition are expected to be announced at a press conference in London later today (19.06.14).

Denmark's Crown Princess Mary took her children to see One Direction on Tuesday (17.06.14).
The Australian-born princess was seen heading into a private entrance at the open air Parken stadium on Copenhagen with Prince Christian, eight, and seven-year-old Princess Isabella, together with two of their friends.
As they headed for the entrance, the royal children were seen excitedly skipping alongside their mother.
It is believed Mary's husband, Crown Prince Frederick, stayed at home with the couple's three-year-old twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
While it is unclear what the royal fans thought of the show, the 'What Makes You Beautiful' band themselves enjoyed the gig.
Niall Horan tweeted: "gig last night in Copenhagen was amazing! Sick crowd! And amazing to have @mcbusted open for us! Huuuuuuggggeeeee (sic)"
Harry Styles added: "Thank you for having us Copenhagen. You were very loud and nice."
The young royals seem to be live music fans, as last month they were taken by their mother to the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
They were able to watch both the rehearsal and the main show in Copenhagen.
