Mumford and Sons for secret Glasto set

Mumford and Sons will play a secret set at Glastonbury festival this week.
The folk rock group - made up of Marcus Mumford, Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane - headlined the event at Worthy Farm last year and are set to return for one of their most intimate gigs in recent years.
A source told The Sun newspaper they are hosting their own area after their triumphant 2013 set on the Pyramid Stage.
The band will be at the Gentleman Of The Road Stage in the Fields Of Avalon on Saturday (28.06.14) and the area will feature artists from the group's record label, Communion, with Johnny Flynn, Michael Kiwanuka and Nick Mulvey all confirmed along with "expected [and unexpected] surprises throughout."
Meanwhile, Kaiser Chiefs - featuring Ricky Wilson, Andrew 'Whitey' White, Simon Rix, Nick 'Peanut' Baines and Vijay Mistry - are playing two high-profile sets at the Somerset.
They will open The Other Stage tomorrow (27.06.14) before closing the John Peel Stage later in the evening.
Ricky told The Sun newspaper: "It's going to be great. It's the first time we've played a gig in the UK for ages, so there's always a certain amount of concern about the show.
"But we're really looking forward to it. My voice now is better than it's ever been.
"I had to make sure of that after being a judge on a singing show ['The Voice']."

Eminem was banned from Hyde Park for lyrics

Eminem was banned from playing London's Hyde Park because of his "offensive" and "unsuitable" lyrics, according to new documents.
The 'Rap God' hitmaker, who has announced two dates at Wembley Stadium next month instead, tried to get London mayor Boris Johnson to overturn the decision to stop him from performing at Barclaycard British Summer Time - but his staff admitted they didn't know who the rapper was.
The comments feature in a number of letters and emails revealed following a Freedom of Information request by the Daily Mirror newspaper.
Royal Parks, which runs Hyde Park, claimed the show would "upset" other park users and promoters AEG had the decision referred to Boris Johnson.
His chief of staff, Sir Edward Lister, said: "Until receipt of both emails I had no knowledge of Eminem and his style of music and still do not."
They decided it was down to Royal Parks to make the decision and the star was banned from performing.
In an email, Royal Parks CEO Linda Lennon said: "This artist flagged risks across the board. In particular in respect of our public reputation.
"The nature of any act with potential for lyrics to be deemed offensive and/or unsuitable language being audible within the park as a whole, let alone the surrounding residential areas, is unacceptable."
Eminem, 41, will now play two sold-out shows at Wembley on July 11 and 12 and admitted it upset him when he was told he couldn't play Hyde Park.
He said: "That's mean, man. It kinda hurt my feelings.
"The easiest way to get me to do something is to tell me I can't do it. Thanks to the Royal Parks for making it all possible ... for Wembley."

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s £4.5m home refurbishments

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's home refurbishments have cost £4.5 million.
The royal couple's ongoing plan to renovate Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, which used to belong to Princess Margaret, is responsible for one of the largest chunks of Queen Elizabeth's official royal expenditure over the past year.
Spending from the sovereign grant rose by £2.4 million to a £35.7 million total, with more than a third going on property maintenance, according to The Independent newspaper.
And £3.4 million alone went on the removal of asbestos from William and Catherine's apartment to make it a safe place to live for 11-month-old Prince George.
An aide justified: "It was a priority. We have a backlog and we prioritise things in terms of the backlog but we also have to prioritise in terms of occupational activities of the royal household.
"In the case of 1A at Kensington Palace we needed to use it ... This is the couple's one and only official residence and it is here they plan to stay for many, many years to come."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's future family home was last refurbished in 1963 so needs a "significant amount of work" to make it habitable, including new plumbing and electrical wiring, it was revealed during an annual briefing.
However, the total figure could have been much higher had Catherine and William not also paid out of their own pockets - with a little help from Prince Charles.
They forked out for interior furnishings, carpets and curtains, as well as a brand new kitchen to supplement the existing 350 sq ft kitchen for official events, financed by public funds.

Coronation Street icon Jean Alexander rushed to hospital

'Coronation Street' legend Jean Alexander was rushed to hospital following a health scare.
The 88-year-old actress, who played Weatherfield cleaner Hilda Ogden for 23 years, has since been allowed to leave, but is understood to still be receiving treatment.
Neighbours have told of their shock when an ambulance arrived at Jean's Southside home in Merseyside to answer a 999 call.
A local resident told said: "The ambulance crew came to her home. I saw it right outside her house last week. I hope she's okay."
Another added: "This is a complete shock".
The veteran soap star recently revealed she was experiencing health problems common among people of her age.
She said: "I have got osteoporosis and I have lost four inches in height. I used to be 5ft 4in, now I'm just 5ft. But this is what happens.
"I can get down on my knees when I'm in the garden - but if I get down then I can't get up again."
Jean left 'Corrie' in 1987 and joined 'Last of the Summer Wine', playing Auntie Wainwright from 1988 until the series came to an end in 2010.

Kym Marsh: Men are frightened of me

Kym Marsh thinks men are "frightened" of her.
The 'Coronation Street' star, who was previously married to 'EastEnders' actors Jack Ryder and Jamie Lomas and is currently dating personal trainer-and-actor Dan Hooper, admits men rarely try to hit on her during a night out.
She said: "I don't really get chatted up. I think men are frightened of me! Although I tend to go out in the gay village in Manchester and keep myself to myself, so perhaps that's why."
The 38-year-old actress has recently dropped a dress size to get into bikini shape in time for summer, and she thinks being slim helps her feel sexy.
She added: "If you feel like you're in shape then it does make you feel more confident. It doesn't always make you attract the right men, though, does it?! You can be in great shape but you can still get a wrong one!"
Kym also revealed how she was left embarrassed when she stripped down for her role as Michelle Connor in 'Corrie'.
She explained to Britain's OK! magazine: "I had to do a bath scene in 'Corrie' and all I had was flesh-coloured knickers and nipple plasters in front of this guy I'd only just met - that was embarrassing. At least in the bedroom you can turn the light off."

Jonathan Ross: Jimmy Carr’s laugh drives me mad

Jonathan Ross can't stand Jimmy Carr's laugh.
The 53-year-old chat show host has confessed he would love to go on a trip with 'Little Britain' comedian David Walliams or the '8 Out of 10 Cats' star, but thinks the latter's unique cackle would start to grate on him.
Quizzed on who his ideal rally car co-driver would be, he said: "It'd have to be someone you get on well with, joke with and not get annoyed with. So, either David Walliams - I love spending time with him - or Jimmy Carr, who I get on very well with. Although, I think his laugh would drive me mad after about a day."
'The Jonathan Ross Show' host admitted there are a lot of celebrities he'd be willing to travel across the world to interview, but narrowed down the list when he was asked who he would drive 3,000 miles to speak to.
Jonathan told heat magazine: "Sylvester Stallone is always great, Barbra Streisand I'm a huge fan of. Some of the younger stars who I haven't interviewed yet, like Scarlett Johansson ... David Beckham's always a great guest for me, so are Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks."

Karen O to release solo album

Karen O is releasing a solo album this September.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman has announced that her debut record, 'Crush Songs', will drop this autumn via The Strokes singer Julian Casablancas' Cult Records.
The music was written between 2006 and 2007 and is described as a "collection of lo-fi, bedroom recordings".
Karen explained: "When I was 27 I crushed a lot. I wasn't sure I'd ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time.
"They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours."
A limited vinyl edition of the album will be available pre-release with artwork featuring Karen's own drawings and handwritten lyrics.
Julian commented: "So excited, lucky and proud to be involved with such a classic album - I just wanna listen to it all day. Karen is an all-time great."
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' last album, 'Mosquito', was released in 2013 and the indie rockers have not yet announced plans for new music.

Lily Allen splits from manager

Lily Allen has split from her manager.
The singer has parted ways with her long-time aide Todd Interland, who has looked after her music career since her debut in 2006.
This comes after Lily slammed her record label for making her release "rubbish" light-hearted pop songs like 'Air Balloon' from her comeback album 'Sheezus' over less commercially-viable tracks like 'Hard Out Here'.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lily guides her career herself a lot but will need someone new to work with her. Todd had been with her for a long time so it was a blow to lose him.
"She's looking around at the moment for the right person to help her make the correct decisions with her music."
Before finding a new manager, Lily, 29, is heading to Glastonbury festival this weekend, where she will take to the stage before Arcade Fire.
The mother-of-two - who temporarily quit the music industry in 2009 to raise her daughters Ethel, two, and Marnie, 16 months, with her husband Sam Cooper - recently said she felt frustrated by her lack of control over her music career.
She sighed: "I'd like to [release the songs I want], but unfortunately I signed a record deal! I took a mortgage out on myself, that's how it works."
