Rob Kardashian to join The Biggest Loser?

Kris Jenner is reportedly putting pressure on Rob Kardashian to take part in 'The Biggest Loser'.
The 58-year-old matriarch is allegedly in talks with E! to sign her son up to the new season of the weight loss programme, which kicks off this Autumn, in a bid to help him shed his unwanted pounds.
A source told the HollywoodLife.com: "With 'The Biggest Loser' being on NBC, they share a lot of the same people who make decisions with E!, so Kris has been in meetings to see if it would work to have Rob on Season 16 this fall.
"Everyone is on board for this to happen except Rob, he still needs convincing but most people involved in the talks think Kris will get her way and have him join the show."
The 27-year-old sock designer has plunged into depression after gaining a substantial amount of weight, and even missed his sister Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West last month because he was so unhappy with his appearance.
However, Kris insists Rob is currently working through his issues and she will be there to support him no matter what.
She said previously: "Rob is living in LA right now and he's doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff ... We get through each other's adversity one year at a time.
"My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff."

Harrison Ford ‘doing well’ after surgery on leg

Harrison Ford is "doing well" after undergoing surgery on his broken leg.
The 71-year-old actor was airlifted to hospital last week after he was crushed by a hydraulic door at the Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire while filming for 'Star Wars: Episode VII', but he is now looking forward to getting back to work after his recent operation was a "success".
Harrison's representative said in a statement: "Harrison Ford's left leg was broken in an accident. His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
However, a source close to Harrison - who plays Han Solo in the Disney sci-fi franchise - believes it could be a while before the star is able to return to filming as he'll need to spend at least a month in rehab.
The source told Us Magazine: "It's really unfortunate. He's been working so hard at this movie, he's pushed himself too hard. It sounds like he'll probably be rehabbing for a month or month and a half."
Meanwhile, bosses insist filming for the movie, which is set for release in December 2015, will continue as planned while Harrison recuperates.

Robert Pattinson: loyalty is important for a friendship

Robert Pattinson thinks loyalty is the "most important trait in a friendship".
The 'Twilight' hunk believes a strong relationship is based around faithfulness, and he insists he's been "really lucky" to have pals that have thoroughly supported him throughout his rise to fame.
Speaking to The Stir at a press stop in Los Angeles for his new movie 'The Rover', he said: "I think loyalty is probably the most important trait in a friendship. It's definitely very important.
"I was really lucky to have pretty great friends growing up ... I think I've had all my friends for at least 10 years. I have a very optimistic view of the world -- mainly because I like my life!"
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old actor, who recently admitted he's homeless, is back in contact with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, whom he split from following her alleged affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders in 2012, and regularly stays at her home in Los Feliz when he travels to Los Angeles so he can spend time with their dogs, Bear and Bernie.
A source said previously: "Rob doesn't have his own place in LA. When he's in town, he sometimes stays at the Chateau Marmont and very often at Kristen's when she's out of town. This gives him the chance to hang out with Bear and Bernie.
"Rob and Kristen aren't romantic or anything, but they are still really close and would do anything for each other."

Kim Kardashian is a ‘strict mum’

Kim Kardashian is a "strict mother".
The 33-year-old reality TV star has certain routines she likes her 12-month-old daughter North, with whom she has with her husband Kanye West, to follow every day and she doesn't allow her to sleep in their bed, unlike her sister Kourtney and partner Scott Disick do with their kids Mason, four, and Penelope, 23 months.
She explained: "I am a strict mother. I'm really fun and playful, but I'm really strict on nap time, and sleeping in her own crib.
"Like Kourtney's style is where her kids sleep in bed with her, so especially with the third baby coming - they're going to need a bigger bed or they're going to need some other rules.
"And maybe on weekends, [North will] come and sleep in the bed with us. But ... I'm not crazy strict."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty admits she and Kanye, 37, who married in Italy last month, are planning to have at least one more child as they'd like to have a little sibling for North.
Asked whether she would like a brother or sister for North, Kim told the MailOnline: "I hope so. I grew up with a lot of siblings so I know what that's like. I don't know if I would really follow in my mum's footsteps and have six; that's a little crazy. I don't know how they did it - they were in their 20s and they weren't really thinking right! I like a big family and I would definitely like one more and see how that goes."

Samantha Harris may need chemotherapy

Samantha Harris may need to have chemotherapy after doctors discovered her cancer had spread.
The former 'Dancing with the Stars' co-host underwent a double mastectomy last month after being diagnosed with breast cancer, but medical professionals discovered the disease had spread further and they were forced to do some more testing.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: "When I came to in recovery, my surgeon was standing over me with a look of sadness and told me that he had to take out all of my lymph nodes. A few days later I got some good news. Thankfully, only one node was positive. Unfortunately, that usually means chemo."
The 40-year-old television personality admits she's "scared" about her possible treatment path, but insists she remains hopeful after meeting women who have been through it already.
She explained: "I am scared by the prospect of chemo, but I know so many inspiring women who have gone through it and, as they told me, 'rocked it'. If I need it, I will take a deep breath and readjust my focus. Stay positive. When life deals you lemons, you gotta make lemonade!"
Samantha - who has daughters Josselyn, six, and Hilary, three, with her husband Michael Hess - first suspected there was something wrong when she felt a lump during a routine self-examination last year, and although nothing was detected during a prior mammogram, she still decided to see a specialist.
A needle biopsy followed by a lumpectomy found that she had breast cancer, and she previously admitted that at first she had no idea how she was going to cope.

Taylor Swift has a new kitten

Taylor Swift has a new kitten.
The 24-year-old singer took to her Instagram account last night (18.06.14) to introduce her fans to her new furry friend.
The blonde beauty posted an adorable picture of the white fluffy feline looking up at her with her big blue eyes, which she accompanied with the caption: "Meet Olivia Benson."
It is believed the '22' hitmaker named the kitten after her favourite 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' character as she previously admitted she can spend hours watching the US crime series.
She once told Teen Vogue magazine: "I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs [best friends forever]."
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Taylor has given her pets monikers to represent her favourite TV show characters as she also named her grey tabby cat Meredith after Meredith Grey in the medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy'.
She said in 2011: "Her name is Meredith--Meredith Grey because she's a grey cat, and because I love 'Grey's Anatomy'. She's awesome. She's like one of those cats that give cats a good name. She doesn't hide under furniture and get weird around people. She's really friendly and fun and she's perfect for the road because she doesn't ever get freaked out."
However, Taylor's friend Ed Sheeran, 23, has different thoughts about Meredith.
He said previously: "Meredith doesn't like anyone. There's moments when she doesn't even like Taylor. She's just a very ungrateful cat. She just expects it to come to her and if it doesn't then she'll just glare at you."

Stars mourn Rik Mayall at funeral

Ade Edmondson, Alan Rickman and Dawn French were among the celebrities who mourned Rik Mayall at a private funeral today (19.06.14).
Friends and family of the late 'Young Ones' star - who tragically died at the age of 56 on June 9 - gathered at St George's Church in Dittisham, Devon, to pay their respects to the comedian.
Ade, Rik's comedy partner and 'Bottom' co-star, was joined at the funeral by his wife Jennifer Saunders, as well as a host of other names including Ben Elton, Nigel Planer and Ruby Wax.
Rik's coffin, which was adorned in red roses, was carried into the rural church by many of his friends, including Ade.
Speaking before the funeral, comedienne Dawn told the Independent newspaper: "He was honestly one of the funniest people ever. A breathtakingly funny and beautiful guy - [it's] a real tragic loss."
Rik - who shot to fame in 'The Young Ones' and 'Bottom' - died following an "acute cardiac event" at his home in Barnes, south-west London, following his morning run.
A post-mortem conducted last week proved inconclusive and his official cause of death is yet to be determined.
The star's widow Barbara Robbins thanked fans for their "swell of love" in the days following Rik's tragic death earlier this week.
She said: "Knowing the swell of love you all share with us we would like to let you, the fans, know that we will be having a private family funeral for Rik, as I am sure you will understand.
"We will be burying him at 2pm on Thursday, June 19, if you would like to join us in thoughts and prayer at this time.
"Thank you again for all your love and support to all our family, it brings great strength."

Mike Myers was urinated on during soccer match

Mike Myers was urinated on during a soccer match.
The 'Austin Powers' star - whose father is originally from Liverpool in North West England - is a big Liverpool F.C. fan and claims when he went to a match at their stadium with his cousins during a visit to the UK, he got an unexpected surprise.
He explained: "It was fantastic to see Liverpool play but in the olden days they didn't have seats so behind the goal there's this place called 'The Kop' in Liverpool and it's super-steep and the crowd all moves together.
"All of a sudden there was this giant guy behind me and he had this magazine and I thought, 'Who brings a magazine to a soccer game?' And he rolls it up and he pees through it onto the back of my leg and I can't move.
"I said, 'Dude', because I'm Canadian the best I could do was say, 'Hey buddy, what are you, mental or something?' And he just looked down at me with bits of pie flying out of his mouth and said, 'Have you got a problem with that, mate?' And I was like, 'Nope, perfectly fine.' "
The 51-year-old comedian also revealed he proposed to his wife Kelly Tisdale during a 2010 World Cup match between the USA and England, but struggled to hide the ring because his soccer kit was too tight.
Speaking on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', he said: "I wore everything. The England shirt, the England shorts, but because I bought them online they ended up being really uncomfortable short shorts ... I had this big box in my pocket that I was trying to hide.
"I was waiting for the right moment and then England scored and I got on my knee and I said, 'Will you marry me?' And she said, 'Yes', and I thought, 'This is fantastic!' "

Harrison Ford ready to ignore doctors for Star Wars

Harrison Ford is ready to ignore medical advice and return to the 'Star Wars: Episode VII' set.
The 71-year-old actor - who has reprised his role as Hans Solo in the new instalment of the sci-fi franchise - was rushed to hospital last week after he was crushed by a hydraulic door on set.
The incident - which happened at Pinewood studios in Berkshire last Friday (12.06.14) - left Harrison with a broken ankle and the incident has caused major disruptions to the filming schedule on the blockbuster.
However, the 'Indiana Jones' star is reportedly ready to ignore doctor's orders telling him to rest for six to eight weeks and he is going to return to filming.
A source told the Daily Express newspaper: "Clearly he won't be able to do any physically demanding scenes and even walking will be a problem. But there are certain scenes that can be worked around Harrison's injury."
The accident has already caused the film's tight schedule to be reworked, although a spokesperson for Disney says director J.J Abrams and his team are "confident" that shooting will remain on track, with a December 2015 release date planned.
The spokesperson said: "The initial day or two it was hard to move things around but now we can juggle things. There are lots of other actors in the movie so it is not a disaster. We are still confident the film can stay on schedule."

Donnie Wahlberg planning wedding to Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy is letting Donnie Wahlberg plan their wedding.
'The View' co-cost is so laid-back about getting married that she has given the New Kids on the Block singer - who she got engaged to in April - complete free reign to organise their upcoming nuptials.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "I trust his style. So whatever he wants. All I know is that this is our last wedding and we're going to make it great."
Donnie intends to keep the ceremony simple and won't be taking any tips from Kanye West's extravagant Italian wedding to Kim Kardashian last month.
The 44-year-old star joked: "Don't be calling me Kanye West. I like Kanye's music, but I don't know about his wedding style. That's a little too much."
One thing the happy couple are both agreed on, however, is that their children must play an important part in the ceremony.
Donnie said: "We have three boys together. They'll be a big part. We're about who's there and what the spirit is more so than where it is and how much money we spend. That's not what it is for us."
Jenny, 41, has a 12-year-old son, Evan, from her marriage to ex-husband John Mallory Asher.
Donnie has sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 12, with his ex-wife Kim Fey.

Louis Tomlinson launches campaign to help soccer team

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has launched a £2 million Crowdfunder campaign to help his favourite soccer club Doncaster Rovers.
The singer - who has bought his hometown club with former chairman John Ryan - is appealing for help from the band's fans and football supporters to help realise his ambitions for the League One side.
Louis and John announced the news today (19.06.14) at a press conference in London and the pop singer said: "For me, this is all about the football, the community and restoring the excitement and desire to making Doncaster Rovers the most exciting club to play for in Yorkshire.
"I want to see the Doncaster Rovers supporters get the club the success it deserves. I grew up in Doncaster and have felt the love for football run through the town, it's for that reason that I have a real personal passion to make Doncaster Rovers a success story."
He added: "This is a big step which I believe will open up opportunities to provide a very, very exciting future for the club and its supporters."
The business partners have set up The Tomlinson Ryan Trust on Crowdfunder.co.uk and have pledged to donate a six-figure sum to the cause.
John is a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur, while Louis - who found fame with his 1D bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik after being created by Simon Cowell on 'The X Factor' - is said to be worth about £14 million.
The 22-year-old pop star - who was born and raised in the town in South Yorkshire and has been a life-long fan of the team - was rumoured earlier this year to be planning a takeover bid, something that has become reality.
He has also played for the team during a fundraising match for the Bluebell Wood charity and against local rivals Barnsley F.C. in a reserve match.
