Ed Sheeran joined Rudimental on stage at this year's Glastonbury festival.
The 23-year-old singer surprised fans by appearing on the Pyramid Stage last night (27.06.14) during the dance act's set to perform 'Bloodstream' - a track they wrote together for Ed's latest album 'x'.
Ed was introduced by the group's DJ Locksmith as their "brother from another mother", who entertained the audience by jumping onto a security guards back during the performance.
The 'A Team' singer sang and played his acoustic guitar and kept chat to a minimum shouting "make some noise for Rudimental" at the end of the track.
Unfortunately for punters, Rudimental's set was cut short not long after Ed's appearance due to an approaching thunderstorm.
Instead of broadcasting footage of the performance, the screens at the side of stage showed a warning message, "Due to weather conditions we may need to power down briefly", before a festival representative came out to inform the crowd the stage was being closed.
Despite the set being cut-short, the band - made up of Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden, Piers Agget and DJ Locksmith - were clearly enjoying their time at the iconic Worthy Farm festival - at which revellers have been enjoying EE's bespoke 4G network via the 'Highspeed Herd' signal providing cows.
DJ Locksmith said: "Tell you what, there's something special about this place. Am I right or am I right."
Meanwhile, Ed's weekend isn't over yet - he'll also be playing a set on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday evening (29.06.14).
Lily Allen has blasted FIFA president Sepp Blatter at Glastonbury.
The 'Sheezus' singer dedicated her track 'F**k You' to the football administrator during her performance at this year's festival labelling him "corrupt" and a "c**t".
The 29-year-old said during her set on the Pyramid Stage last night(27.06.14): "The next song is dedicated to possibly one of, actually not, the most corrupt, annoyingly corrupt, person there is in the world, Sepp f***ng Blatter, you c***."
Following her controversial outburst, Lily, 29, encouraged revellers to "raise a glass" while she flashed her underwear and twerked on stage, singing a number of her classic hits including 'Smile' and 'The Fear' as well as a cover of Keane's hit 'Somewhere Only We Know'.
The Brit Award-winner - who performed shortly after a thunderstorm which led to a safety shutdown on the stage - remained enthusiastic about the set at the iconic Worthy Farm festival after a 45 minute delay.
She said: "Thank f**k for that, the rain stopped! Just in time. I've got to be quick cos our set time has been cut short."
The mum of three was also spotted drinking a pint before asking, "Can I have some whiskey in there please?".
Kellan Lutz took "extra care" of his figure for his topless role in 'The Legend of Hercules'.
The buff 29-year-old star says he put in more effort than usual at the gym and carefully watched his diet to prepare for his role as the demigod as he spends so much of the movie not wearing much.
He said: "I keep fit for roles and I love my fitness. I've got a film called 'Hercules' coming up and I'm in a loincloth or topless for that, so I had to take extra care of myself."
The blue-eyed star loves cooking but admits he'd be happy to survive on a diet of just vegetables.
Quizzed what food he'd pick if he could only eat one, Kellan answered: "Organic raw vegetables, full of nutrients - it's the only choice.
"I love cooking Italian. I make a mean chicken cordon bleu."
Kellan is the voice of Tarzan in a new animated film and believes his love of the outdoors and natural instincts could help him survive in the wild like his big screen alter-ego.
He explained to Bliss magazine: "I'm an outdoor junkie. I'm a born survivalist sort of man. I think I would do well if I was stuck in the jungle like Tarzan.
"Every boy was a pyro growing up, so I could start a fire. We had wild berries on our farm so I'd eat those. We had lots of acres so I'd build forts and sleep under the stars on the haystacks and the chicken coops."
'The O.C' cast were "miserable" during filming.
Cam Gigandet - who played Kevin Volchek on the hit Fox drama - has revealed that his co-stars Mischa Barton, Adam Brody, Rachel Bilson and Ben McKenzie were difficult to work with and even forgot their lines on purpose.
The 31-year-old told Elle magazine: "Those kids were f***ing miserable. They would not remember their lines on purpose. They were young. That said, I don't talk to anyone I've ever worked with."
The 'Reckless' actor admitted he learnt a lot from his time on the show but came away with no fond memories of his co-stars.
He said: "I learned a lot. But the things that I remember now - none of them are good."
Cam even alleged that Ben, 35 - who played tearaway teenager Ryan Atwood on the series from 2003 to 2007 - bullied him on set, although the pair have since made up.
He explained: "Actually Ben McKenzie was kind of mean to me. I hadn't done anything at that point and he was a little bit of an a**.
"But I love him. I think he's a great actor."
Jonathan Ross has called Gordon Ramsay a "f****r" for cancelling 'Kitchen Nightmares'.
The chat show host took to Twitter to announce his disappointment at the end of Gordon's reality TV show and threatened to force him into making more series.
Jonathan, 53, wrote on the social networking site: "Big G... Tell me you're not stopping Kitchen Nightmares !?! Please.
"You f*cker. I will hunt you down and MAKE you do more."
Gordon replied to the tweet, advising Jonathan to make his own version of the hit show.
He wrote: "You make them ! Wossy's Teppanyaki nightmares !"
The 47-year-old chef starred on the show - which sees him attempt to spruce up failing restaurants - for over a decade and hailed the programme as an "amazing journey", thanking viewers for supporting him.
In a statement on his official website, Gordon wrote: "As filming comes to a close on the latest series of 'Kitchen Nightmares' I've decided to stop making the show. I'm currently filming four new episodes, 'Costa Del Nightmares', for Channel 4 which will be my last."
He added: "I'm glad I've been able to entertain and hopefully help a few people along the way. It's sad to say goodbye to 'Kitchen Nightmares' but I'll be continuing with my other shows. It's been memorable! Thank you for watching."
Gordon's decision to end the hit show comes just months after it was claimed he plans to leave Channel 4 when his contract expires later this year and sign with ITV.
A source previously said: "It would be a massive coup for ITV and execs are really excited about the prospect of landing him. Talks have been going really well.
"Gordon doesn't think Channel 4 is the right fit for him any more and has been gradually winding down his work with them over the last 12 months.
"He wants to come back with a bang - and ITV is the place to do it."
Johnny Depp is reportedly obsessed with discount vouchers.
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star - who is worth approximately £200 million - has reportedly become a regular user of online discount site Groupon, from which he recently bought a discounted barbecue grill.
A source revealed: "Johnny can't resist a bargain, and he loves it when Groupon's deal of the day arrives in his email inbox.
"If he can get a good price for something, he'll go for it. He just bought a new barbecue for the patio of his house in LA."
The 51-year-old actor also uses discount vouchers to buy his fiancee Amber Heard gifts - as he's said to have invested £200 on a pair of £600 diamond earrings - and to get money off their meals at top restaurants.
The source added to heat magazine: "Once, he got so excited at the prospect of a deal, he used it in a restaurant to get 40 percent off his bill.
"But he felt bad about it afterwards and left a $200 tip."
Ronnie Wood has paid tribute to the late soul singer Bobby Womack.
The 70-year-old soul music star - who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and enjoyed a career spanning seven decades - passed away in his sleep on Friday (27.06.14).
The Rolling Stones rocker took to Twitter to express his grief and recalled how the singer's voice often reduced him to tears.
He wrote on the social networking site this morning (28.06.14): "I'm so sad to hear about my friend Bobby Womack ~ the man who could make you cry when he sang has brought tears to my eyes with his passing."
The late singer, who was in the process of recording a new album tentatively titled 'The Best Is Yet to Come,' with rumoured contributions by Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart and Snoop Dogg, began his career as a member of Curtis Womack and the Womack Brothers with his brothers Curtis, Harry, Cecil and Friendly, Jr., but they changed their name to the Valentinos shortly after they scored their first record deal in 1960.
The Rolling Stones' cover of their track 'It's All Over Now' topped the UK charts in 1964, just one month after the original version was released.
The 'If You Think You're Lonely Now' hitmaker sought treatment in rehab in the 1980s for drug addiction, and later battled a series of health problems, including colon cancer, diabetes, pneumonia and showed early signs of Alzheimer's disease.
His 2012 release 'The Bravest Man in the Universe' was voted one of the 50 Best Albums of the year and he admitted he thought his songs were getting better with age.
He said at the time: "You know more at 65 than you did at 25. I understand the songs much better now. It's not about 14 Rolls Royces and two Bentleys. Even if this album never sells a nickel, I know I put my best foot forward."
A spokesperson for the 'Across 110th Street' hitmaker's record label XL Recordings told RollingStone.com that his cause of death is currently unknown.
Emma Watson has allegedly been employing an illegal housekeeper.
The 'Harry Potter' star hired the maid to work in her New York apartment at the beginning of last year but Border Agency staff have since launched a probe following a complaint that the woman was travelling to London on and off to help Emma, 24, in her Islington home.
It is believed that the housekeeper spent a total of three months in Britain between September last year until early February and was quizzed on arrival by immigration staff about her ability to pay for her stay.
Although the home office can't comment on individual cases a source from the department told The Mirror newspaper: "An allegation has been received and processed and has been allocated for further action."
Meanwhile, Emma recently graduated from the prestigious Brown University in the United States.
The 'Bling Ring' actress, who enrolled at the Ivy League school in 2009, received her English literature degree at a commencement ceremony on the main campus in Providence, Rhode Island, last month.
She has previously praised her classmates for giving her an opportunity to experience life away from the spotlight.
She said: "I've never even been asked for an autograph on campus. I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook."
Footage of Michael Jackson has triggered a lawsuit.
The production company behind the upcoming film 'Michael Jackson: The Last Photo shoot' is taking legal action against the late singer's estate over a video of him at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York.
The movie - which is set to be released later this year - also features interviews with the Michael's friends, photographers and stylists.
Director Craig Williams insists he has a right to include the footage in the documentary while the Jackson's estate attorney Howard Weitzman claims the images should remain private and are being "exploited" by film makers.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "The makers of the documentary are attempting to exploit footage and photographs of Michael Jackson, which we believe are owned by his Estate.
"The documentary contains footage of Michael during private moments that he never agreed could be publicly and commercially exploited without his consent and/or involvement. Michael never authorised or approved the use of this material in the film."
However, the movies' production company Noval Williams Films maintains that it has validly obtained the rights to the footage
According to a complaint filed in New York's federal court, it is believed the Jackson family were offered the chance to purchase the rights to the video but passed up the opportunity before the director decided to buy the footage in May last year.
The documentary makers are now seeking declaratory relief that it use of the video isn't infringing copyrights.
Metallica think it's "remarkable" they are the first heavy metal band to headline Glastonbury festival.
The 'Enter Sandman' band - made up of James Hetfield, Rob Trujillo, Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett - will take to the stage tonight night (28.06.14) and were shocked another act of their genre weren't announced first.
Frontman James said: "It's remarkable. Why not Sabbath? Why not Judas Priest? There are plenty of British bands who've been around a long time, who are well established, and have a long-standing tradition of heavy music. But we've been asked to play, and it's amazing. It's opening the door. Some people might have an understanding about Metallica that they don't like 'em, they've heard a song, and they're like, 'Oh, it's all that heavy, crazy stuff'. But they haven't seen us live, that's when you see the real us. We tend to win people over, even if they don't wanna be."
Kirk claims the fact that the 'Unforgiven' band are "hated" gives them a certain sense of motivation to prove people wrong and he recalls how Metallica "came up in the face of adversity".
He said: "When we started out, a lot of people didn't get us. There were a good two or three years where people were scratching their heads and not knowing what to make of us. And if that happens again at Glastonbury, so be it. For me, it's not gonna make much difference. We're just gonna go out there and enjoy ourselves."
The rockers are relishing the chance to play such a high-profile gig, and are ready for the challenge.
James told NME magazine: "We've been asked to play there because of who we are. We know that it's special. But again, we're true to ourselves. As far as the set goes, I don't know what we'll be playing. There's probably gonna be a lot of people who haven't seen us live.
"The other aspect is that you're playing on the BBC - prime time, Pyramid Stage, Saturday night. It's a big deal."
Kirk added: "The first four, give years we were constantly put in that situation. We've been there before, it's just been a while.
"I don't give a f**k if people think we should play Glastonbury or not, I'm still gonna go out and play the best f***ing show that I can."
Don Johnson thinks 'Fifty Shades of Grey' will be a "blip" on Dakota Johnson's career.
The 65-year-old actor is proud of his daughter's acting talents and despite her having the lead role in the much-hyped adaptation of E. L. James' raunchy novel, he doesn't think it will be seen as particularly important in the long term.
He said: "[It will be] a blip on her career, because she's going to be a significant actress for many years to come."
The 'Cold in July' actor also admitted he isn't interested in reading the book the movie will be based on.
He told The Times newspaper: "I wouldn't read that. I read 'The Story of O' in the sixties and that pretty much covered it."
Don became a household name after starring in 'Miami Vice' and is proud of the way the show changed television programmes.
He said: "We didn't just revolutionise television, we contemporised it.
"We all came from an independent film-making background and we brought that sensibility to the show, with danger and violence, and the image of these two undercover cops as the only thing standing between this massive flow of drugs and the city."
Ozzy Osbourne wants a knighthood.
The 65-year-old rocker is delighted by an online campaign to have him recognised in Queen Elizabeth's honours list, and thinks it would be "pretty cool" for his wife Sharon to be given the title 'Lady'.
He said: "I've heard about that campaign. Getting knighted? I can't imagine anything better. And my wife would become a Lady, which would be pretty cool.
"But I'm not gonna get upset if it doesn't happen. I never thought I'd get further than [hometown] Aston."
The Black Sabbath frontman also admitted he is surprised his career has lasted so long as he only imagined he would be successful for a "couple of years".
He added in an interview with Time Out magazine: "I don't [look back], but I guess I should a bit more. Because I know when I had my first successful album with Sabbath I thought, 'Oh this is great, this will last a couple of years. I'll just get drunk every night and have a few chicks in my room.'
"And here I am, 45 years down the road and I'm doing better than ever. I haven't always been on top of the world, there have been bad times as well, but you don't just give up at the first sign of choppy waters, you carry on rowing."
