Ginnifer Goodwin marries Josh Dallas

Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas got married on Saturday (12.04.14).
The 'Once Upon a Time' co-stars, who are expecting their first child in the near future, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at sunset in Los Angeles in front of just 30 family members and friends.
An eyewitness told E! News that guests began arriving for the formal affair at 5.30pm and a cocktail reception kicked off immediately after the couple's nuptials at 7pm, with a Spanish guitar playing in a courtyard filled with cactuses and stone pathways.
The insider said: "Ginnifer and Josh seemed very relaxed and happy. They were surrounded by their nearest and dearest friends and kept it very intimate and simple."
The 35-year-old actress wore a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown.
Josh, who proposed to Ginnifer in October after more than a year of dating, previously admitted he was instantly attracted to the brunette beauty.
The 32-year-old actor said: "It hit me like a blinding light. I thought, 'I'm in trouble now.' "
An insider also said there was an "immediate connection" between the co-stars when they met for the first time in 2011, adding: "They were shooting in Canada together, and because they were both away from home, they inevitably started to socialise together off the set as well as on--and they got closer as friends.
"The relationship has been full-on since the moment it turned romantic. There was no reason to wait and take it slow--they fell in love, and it feels right."

Debbie Harry thinks her solo work was ‘overlooked’

Debbie Harry believes the material in her 80s solo albums has been "overlooked".
The 68-year-old singer - who co-founded Blondie in the 70s with Chris Stein - pursued a solo career following the band's split in 1982 and although she was still working, Chris became unwell, suffering from auto-immune condition pemphigus vulgaris, and she had to care for him.
She explained to Mojo magazine: "It was a very difficult time. All I can say is that I did move on in the mid 80s and I started doing a series of solo albums which Chris wrote on and helped me with. I did not five up my career. I had a lot of tours and I had some smaller hits. I really think that there's some great material on those solo albums that I feel to a degree has been overlooked."
She began using her full name - Deborah Harry - with her third solo album, 'Def, Dumb & Blonde', in 1989, to help form her own identity and break away from the image created in Blondie.
Debbie added: "That's my proper name and I was trying to, as you say, draw a line in the sand between the Blondie identification and me as a solo artist. I think I was often confronted by the record company saying, 'Why can't you use the name Blondie?' Well, I'd like to use the name Blondie, but it's not Blondie, it's me."

Bruce Forsyth got ‘the flu’ on Strictly Come Dancing

Sir Bruce Forsyth has admitted 'Strictly Come Dancing' made him ill.
The 86-year-old entertainer recently announced he was stepping down from co-hosting the ballroom show, and he has now revealed his exit has come after he was "getting the flu" because of his workload.
Speaking on 'The Michael McIntyre Chat Show', he explained: "You get to the stage where you think this is enough. And I do get tired doing it.
"Live television is very strenuous, especially when some shows are an hour and 40 minutes. I have to do all the announcements and run up the stairs to get out of the way.
"I probably do that 40 or 50 times. And I was getting the flu. I always got flu in studios. They were so full of germs."
The veteran star had previously missed shows in both 2009 and 2013 due to illness, and it is believed he battled through on other occasions.
While he admitted it will "miss it like made", he is confident he made the right decision.
Bruce added: "I will miss it like mad, but it is a decision I would rather do this year than wait another year because you never know."

Lee Ryan ‘ashamed’ of arrest

Lee Ryan says his arrest has been a big "wake-up call".
The Blue singer - who was arrested on Friday (11.04.14) on suspicion of drink driving and later charged with failure to provide a specimen and criminal damage - has admitted he has "let people down".
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I know I've let people down. Being arrested and ending up in a cell was the biggest wake-up call to me.
"It made me realise there is a problem I can't keep ignoring. I need to do something about it."
It was confirmed yesterday (12.04.14) that Lee - who was also found with a controlled substance in his possession - will be going to rehab to help him overcome his persona issues.
He added: "Me going to rehab isn't a cop-out. I still take full responsibility for the way I've behaved.
"There is nobody to blame but myself and I'm deeply ashamed of what has happened.
"I am doing this because I have finally admitted I need help. I want to stop hurting the people around me."

Kirsten Dunst considering directing career

Kirsten Dunst is considering a career in film-making.
The 31-year-old star has been acting since the 80s, starting off as a child star in TV series and moving onto films like 'Spider-Man' and 'Melancholia', but she has now admitted she is definitely interested in trying her hand at directing in future.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I would love it. I love getting immersed in things and being busy all the time."
However, she confessed she would have to leave the script-writing to someone more experienced as she doesn't think she has the right skills to write a good story.
She added: "It's just that I'm not going to write my own script. I don't think I can, I honestly don't. It would be easier to find a book to adapt."
Despite claiming that she's definitely interested in making the move behind the camera, Kirsten - who will next appear in 'The Two Faces of January' - says her career change is a while away yet.
She said: "I'm not interested in directing right now. Maybe in three years. Who knows? Maybe I'll have children then. I probably will - one day - want to try it."

Mollie King ‘checks out’ women more than men

Mollie King prefers checking out women to men.
The Saturdays beauty admitted while she doesn't like to compare herself to other women, she has "girl crushes" and even notices them before "guys" she sees in the street.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Fabulous magazine, she said: "I don't [compare myself], but I definitely have girl crushes.
"If there's a hot couple walking down the street, I'll check out the girl before the guy - what she's wearing, how she's done her hair, what make-up she's wearing."
The pop star isn't the only girl in her group who can appreciate feminine beauty.
Her bandmate Rochelle Humes also revealed she doesn't mind looking at other women - and she even encourages her husband Marvin to do the same while he's hosting 'The Voice' UK.
Asked whether she minds him working with Kylie Minogue on the talent show, she said: "No! I was like, 'Oh my God, please look at her bum, is she that hot in real life?'
"I was at one of the live shows and saw it for myself. She is beautiful!"

Kate Moss keeps rock ‘n’ roll alive, says Chrissie Hynde

Kate Moss is flying the flag for rock 'n' roll, according to Chrissie Hynde.
The Pretenders frontwoman has praised the supermodel for keeping the spirit of the rock music scene "alive", but still criticised her for wearing fur.
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine: "Kate flies the rock 'n' roll flag and she keeps it alive!
"Although she's a fur-whore and we all have a problem with that, Kate."
The 62-year-old singer also discussed contemporary pop stars like Miley Cyrus, and insisted they don't do enough for their music.
She explained: "I see a lot of these young girls who say they're singer/songwriters. It always turns out that their songs were written by some bunch of other guys.
"And these girls are all 'producers' too - because they walked through a studio one day. All they've ever done in their lives is sit in front of a computer. They haven't lived a life. I've never so much as looked at a Facebook page. Even my own.
"And what is twerking? I actually don't know what twerking is. If it's something that all the young girls do then I don't know why you're talking to me about it."

Nick Carter’s brother missed wedding

Nick Carter's brother missed his wedding due to his plane being delayed.
The Backstreet Boys singer married Lauren Kitt yesterday (12.04.14), but his 26-year-old sibling Aaron was unable to attend the ceremony in Santa Barbara, California after problems with his flight from Washington, DC.
He wrote on Instagram: "Really?? @USAirways @drakebell bro are we both sitting here?? Like really I DIDNT want to miss my bros wedding!! F**K!"
He later apologised to his brother, joking that he hopes the 'As Long As You Love Me' hitmaker doesn't "hate" him for missing his big day.
Aaron added: "Really p***ed off that I missed my brothers wedding today.. i hope he doesn't hate me .. I tried to get there... I'm sorry bro @nickcarter #technicalProblems"
Meanwhile, Nick's bandmate A.J. McLean had posted his congratulations just before he attended the rehearsal dinner on Friday night (11.04.14).
He said: "Chillin at the house getting ready to head to the rehearsal dinner of the wedding most of u thought would never happen but I'm so happy it is finally!
"Congrats to my little bro for growing up and finding love. So proud of u bro. Love u both @nickcarter and @laurenkitt (sic)"

Manic Street Preachers debut new songs

Manic Street Preachers treated fans to three new songs at their London gigs this weekend.
'Europa Geht Durch Mich', 'Futurology' - both of which were played throughout their current tour - and 'Let's Go To War' were well-received by the audience at the O2 Academy Brixton on Friday (11.04.14) and Saturday (12.04.14), showing a return to the Welsh trio's rockier roots following last year's more subdued and reflective album 'Rewind the Film'.
Introducing 'Let's Go To War' on Friday, bassist and lyricist Nicky Wire said: "Please excuse me if I f**k it up. This is a nice marching song, it's called 'Let's Go To War'."
The new album, also entitled 'Futurology' doesn't yet have a release date but frontman James Dean Bradfield told the audience it will be out "in June".
The band played a crowd-pleasing, 24 track, set which spanned their entire 26-year career and had an energy and enthusiasm as fresh as their younger days, with the audience singing along to every word - and even stepping in when singer James suffered a musicianship mishap and sang his guitar line in the middle of 'Stay Beautiful'.
Elsewhere, Nicky teased fans with the possibility of some special gigs to mark the 20th anniversary of their iconic third album 'The Holy Bible', admitting "We still haven't decided whether to do any anniversary shows yet".
However, when the crowd cheered wildly, he grinned and said: "That's a no then".
The two London gigs marked the end of the 'Design For Life' hitmakers' current tour, but they have a string of European dates lined up for the coming weeks before returning to the UK for a number of festival performances, including Glastonbury and the Virgin Media V Festival.

Will.i.am to quit The Voice

Will.i.am is set to quit 'The Voice'.
The Black Eyed Peas star - who has spent three years on the show - has reportedly decided to leave to focus on his own music career, following the departure of fellow coach Kylie Minogue.
An insider told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Kylie quitting is a huge blow but the knock-on effect is going to be ten times worse.
"Will wants to concentrate on his own music and with Kylie not coming back he's told producers he won't either.
"The fear is that [Sir Tom Jones] and [Ricky Wilson] will follow suit.
The TV talent show has already been commissioned for two more series, but bosses are concerned about the possibility of having to find an entirely new quartet for the judging panel.
It is said Justin Timberlake is being discussed as a potential replacement, due to the 'Mirrors' hitmaker's talent and credibility.
The insider added: "Justin Timberlake's name has been put forward as the perfect replacement for Will and Kylie.
"He's a huge star, which would give the show credibility and he's still relevant, which would bring in the viewers."

David Walliams apologies for wrestling Simon Cowell

David Walliams had to apologise after wrestling Simon Cowell on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The former 'Little Britain' star tackled his boss during an audition after the 54-year-old star tried to stop an act the rest of the panel wanted to continue, and he was told he had crossed a line.
David told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Simon is quite a serious person and he doesn't want me dragging him down to my level, as I learned at one point when we had a wrestle.
"There were a couple called Que Sera, who sang 'Love Changes Everything', and he said, 'Oh I hate this song'. But we all wanted to hear it.
"So he tried to put is hand in the air to stop the song and we ended up wrestling. He said, 'I'm a serious music mogul, people can't see me wrestling on TV.' "
It turns out this isn't the first time David has been given a dressing-down from Simon, who was less than impressed when his co-star hit him with a pen he threw during one of the shows.
He added: "He had a word with me too over pen-gate - when I lobbed a pen at him during one show. It turns out that I'm a better aim than I thought - and I hit him.
"The thing is you are trying to be outrageous and funny, and you are going to fail some of the time. You see it over the years that comedians do get it wrong.
"So I had to say sorry to him about the whole thing. He just said to me afterwards, 'David, David that was too much', and I said, 'I'm very sorry. I'm sorry.' "

Lorde doesn’t mind ‘arrogant’ label

Lorde doesn't mind being called arrogant.
The 'Royals' singer can sometimes come across as aloof, but claims it's a deliberate move and says she aspires to be as confident as her idol Kanye West.
She admitted: "I like making grand statements. The name Lorde is quite grand and a little bit arrogant. I like that, I like the intensity of it."
Probed about some critics calling her arrogant, she replied: "I don't mind. I'm a really big fan of Kanye West. He's confident and I like that. I'm not that confident in myself yet."
Despite her image, the 17-year-old pop sensation is actually a shy person and found it tough fitting in with her famous peers at first.
She explained in an interview with France's NRJ radio station: "I am shy and I'm pretty private. I'm getting way better at being in those situations. It's still really weird for me.
"I've learnt to have fun. I've made a lot of friends as well in this industry so I don't feel like such an outsider."
One person Lorde has become particularly close to is 23-year-old star Taylor Swift, but although they are good pals, the Kiwi singer doesn't think they will ever collaborate musically.
Quizzed whether they were going to record a duet, Lorde burst into giggles and replied: "I don't think so, no. She's great though."
