Cameron Diaz has become fearless with age.
The 41-year-old actress admits she doesn't tend to stress over the little things now that she's hit the fourth decade of her life and she's enjoying her new care-free attitude.
Speaking in the August issue of America's Esquire magazine, she said: "I like being 41. I love it. So much sh*t just falls away. Fear, mostly. It's the best age. That's when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn't care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid.
"You don't worry about what men think. You just don't worry that time register is anything awful."
Meanwhile, the 'Other Woman' star has been dating her new boyfriend Benji Madden for two months now and, although she feels ready to settle down, she's doesn't want to rush their blossoming relationship.
A source said previously: "She's at a point in her life where she would love to settle down, but for now with Benji it's about being happy and taking things as they come. She's happy ... really happy."
The couple went public with their romance last month when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand around New York City, but the initial spark between the pair took the blonde beauty by surprise.
The source explained: "The relationship sort of hit Cameron out of nowhere. She's always been open-minded when it comes to men. She just wants to have something in common with them and find a personality that loves life and loves as hard as she does."
Meanwhile, Cameron has previously dated Alex Rodriquez, Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and has even admitted to a romantic liaison with another woman.

Kim Kardashian has become more "selective" of jobs since giving birth to her daughter last year.
The 33-year-old reality star admits she's struggled to find a balance between her career and becoming a mother to North 12 months ago, but thinks "prioritising" is essential.
Speaking to Romyandthebunnies.com, she said: "It is an adjustment trying to balance a career and motherhood for sure, but the key is to prioritise.
"You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family.
"You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!"
The brunette beauty enjoys taking time away from her busy schedule to spend time with North, whom she has with her husband Kanye West, and admits her favourite thing to do is to fall asleep cuddling her.
She explained: "My absolute favourite thing is taking a nap with her. We cuddle and fall asleep holding each other. It's my favourite time just snuggling with her."
However, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star sometimes takes the tot along with her when she has work commitments and has learnt how to deal with travelling long distances on an aeroplane with a baby.
She said: "Jet lag can be tough to adjust to, especially for a baby. I think its important to travel with the necessities to make sure your baby gets a nap on the flight, and whenever necessary!"

Robin Williams has checked into rehab again.
The 62-year-old actor is seeking treatment at Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota to help him maintain his long-term sobriety.
His representative told TMZ.com: "After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud."
It is believed Robin will be spending the next several weeks at the facility seeking professional help.
In 2006, the comedian checked himself into a substance abuse rehabilitation centre in Oregon after admitting he was an alcoholic following two decades without booze.
His publicist said at the time: "After 20 years of sobriety, Robin Williams found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family."
The 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star also battled with cocaine addiction in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but quit the drug following the death of his close friend John Belushi in 1982 and the birth of his son Zachary in 1983.
Robin previously admitted he once thought he could handle his substance abuse on his own, but realised he would only kick his addiction with professional help.
He said: "You can't [deal with it on your own]. That's the bottom line. You really think you can, then you realise, I need help, and that's the word ... It's hard admitting it, then once you've done that, it's real easy."
Meanwhile, the star has been busy working on the upcoming movie 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb', which is expected to hit screens later this year.

Nick Grimshaw and Alexa Chung recreated Dolly Parton's Glastonbury set backstage at the festival.
The Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ and model friend were partying in the Beats by Dre VIP area at the event at Worthy Farm in South East England at the weekend.
The pair acted out Dolly's gig for singer Sam Smith who missed it because he was performing at the same time on The Other Stage on Sunday (29.06.14) and also joined Disclosure in the evening for a rendition of their track 'Latch'.
A source told BANG Showbiz: "Nick and Alexa were having a great time backstage and performed Dolly's hits '9 to 5' and 'Jolene', along with an accompanied dance routine for Sam, who was disappointed he'd missed Dolly perform."
The celebrity friends played the songs on Beats Pill XL speakers and the likes of Eliza Doolittle, Laura Whitmore and Foxes were also spotted backstage.
Sam said: "It's been absolutely amazing but I've not seen that many people play, I was performing while Dolly was playing. It would have been great to go and watch her sing."
Nick, who got a private jet to the site in Pilton, also held an impromtu party in the VIP tent when the rain started to pour on Saturday (28.06.14) and friend Rita Ora almost missed her helicopter out of the festival.

The 'Monty Python' stars will only retire when they die.
The comedy troupe's five remaining members have no plans to quit showbiz altogether once their 10 'Monty Python Live (Mostly): One Down, Five To Go' live show dates at London's O2 Arena come to an end on July 20 and plan to keep going for as long as physically possible.
Asked whether they were retiring, Michael Palin said: "Not at all. We're retiring from Python so we can enjoy the rest of our lives. We are not retiring; we're just carrying on working until we drop."
John Cleese added: "We're all going to go in very different directions."
The septuagenarian gang might only have had two weeks of intense rehearsals for their reunion show, but they have put in months of physical training to get into shape.
Eric Idle explained: "I've been hiking for three months because I know stamina's the one thing you can't fake, so I've been preparing myself physically [to last] the 10 nights."
Michael added: "The opening number is quite energetic, we leap around and it sets the standard. I'm worn out after the first few minutes. [Much like] Mick Jagger, we can still move fast around the stage, the madness takes over."
However, Terry Jones has been more laid back about the whole process.
He joked: "I've not been drinking for about a week."
John chimed in: "When the show's finished Eric goes on to do the technical stuff, but we go home. So I've prepare for it by sleeping more."
The stars also reminisced about the last time they performed live together decades ago.
Eric laughed: "All the audience was smoking marijuana, John and I went into the audience and we came out pretty high..."
Michael added: "Not sure that's going to be available at the O2. Maybe Viagra... we've all got Viagra in our dressing rooms."
Michael, John, Eric and Terry Jones were joined by Terry Gilliam at a press conference announcing the biggest live event of 2014. New tickets went on sale yesterday (30.06.14), while today (01.07.14) sees the release of the complete collection of all nine albums, 'Monty Python's Total Rubbish', by Virgin EMI Records.

Police were called to Justin Bieber's house this morning (01.07.14).
Law enforcement officers were called over loud music at the Beverly Hills apartment - where the 'Believe' hitmaker was hosting a party for guests including Johnny Manziel, Floyd Mayweather, Tyrese, Tyga, and Chantel Jeffries - and after speaking to a guest, the group agreed to turn down the volume.
However, a short time later, police returned to the building following another complaint, this time over female fans who were screaming and making noise outside, TMZ reports.
This isn't the first time police have been called to the 20-year-old singer's home, which he only moved into last month.
According to reports, the HOA (Home Owners Alliance) have been contacted because of excessive noise and marijuana use, and police were previously called on two occasions.
One resident in the building said recently: "The smell of marijuana was permeating the floor, especially my hallway which is shared by [Justin's] unit."
In March, Justin sold his Calabasas home in Los Angeles to Khloe Kardashian, following a string of complaints from neighbours over his wild antics, the most controversial of which was an alleged egg throwing incident which has led to the pop star facing criminal charges.

Julianne Hough worried about speaking her mind with Ryan Seacrest.
The 25-year-old beauty dated the 'American Idol' host for almost three years until March 2013 and admits her current romance, with hockey star Brooks Laich, is more successful than her previous union because she isn't afraid to let herself go completely.
She told Redbook magazine:"Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right.
"I had one foot out because I didn't want to get hurt. And I didn't say what was on my mind because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect.
"Now I'm not holding anything back, because I'd rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love.
"If I had been this open in my last relationship, who knows?"
Julianne says her outlook on love changed completely after she attended a seminar and instantly decided to cut off contact with the guys she was dating - and met Brooks soon afterwards.
She told the new edition of Redbook magazine: "I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar [last November] about creating your own destiny.
"I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn't work that by the end I was on a high. I was seeing a couple people, but immediately [I text them to say], 'You are nice, but this is going nowhere.' The next day my 'Curve' co-star introduced [Brooks and me]. It couldn't have been a better time. We've been open and honest from day one."

Megan Fox thinks Ellen DeGeneres is "sexy".
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress - who has sons Noah, two, and Bodhi, four months, with husband Brian Austin Green - finds the talk show host attractive because of her sense of humour and attitude to Hollywood.
She admitted: "I think Ellen is sexy. Maybe it's the way she gives off the impression that she's anti-'the business' even though she's engaging in it. And humour is always sexy."
The 28-year-old actress also believes guys find "strong and powerful" women attractive and doesn't think girls should try too hard for attention.
She told the new issue of America's Cosmopolitan magazine: "Women don't have to be desperate and try so hard. Allow yourself to be strong and powerful and men will be crawling on their hands and knees."
And the brunette beauty admitted she used to read the magazine in secret when she was a teenager.
She said: "I remember I used to think it was a big deal, when I was like 15, 16, and I knew that Cosmo was something my mom probably didn't want me to read, and so it was exciting to get a hold of it because you felt like you were getting a glimpse behind what it was to be a woman. They're letting you in on womanly secrets."

The Who frontman Roger Daltrey feels "sorry" for music fans who record concerts on their phones rather than enjoying the moment.
The 'Substitute' singer finds it "weird" that people prefer to film shows on their handsets rather than lose themselves in the music but accepts it's a modern phenomenon.
When asked what he thought of gig-goers recording shows, Roger said: "I feel sorry for them. Looking at life through a screen and not being in the moment totally - if you're doing that, you're 50 percent there, right? I find it weird. But people seem to like it, they're all mad, but maybe I'm mad."
However, Roger's bandmate Pete Townsend disagrees with him and insists people's penchant to make their own concert films does have benefits but only if their motivation is right.
Speaking at a press conference at Ronnie Scott's in London on Monday (30.06.14) to announce The Who Hits 50 tour, the guitarist said: "I'm a real technofile, I really love new technology. I jumped on the iPhone when it first came out, I jumped on the internet and was one of the first individuals in the music business to have my own website so I love it. I'm for it really because all of those people you could say are doing a job, what they're doing presumably is taking that footage and sharing it so as long as we look alright and are playing OK then they're sharing something that we used to have to pay people to produce. It's low quality and can be a bit naff but if it's shared widely it's good.
"There's an amazing video of me breaking a guitar in Yokohama and I play this amazing bit of guitar just before I smash the guitar. It was never filmed by anyone except one guy with a camera phone and he put it up. I'm proud of it, it's a great bit of guitar playing before I sadly smash the guitar. On the other hand I do agree with Roger, if you've been to Glastonbury this weekend I hope you enjoyed the music rather than feeling you have to build a Facebook story about it."
Tickets for The Who's nine-date UK tour - which begins in Glasgow on November 30 and ends at The O2 in London on December 17 - go on sale at 9am on July 4 from Aeglive.co.uk.

Ex-Lostprophets members have formed a new band called No Devotion.
The band will continue under the new name, without singer Ian Watkins, after he was jailed for 35 years in December last year for a string of child sex offences.
Geoff Rickly, formerly of metal band Thursday, will take on the role of frontman and the members admit they weren't sure if they could carry on after Ian's court case.
Bassist Stuart Richardson said: "We didn't know if we would ever make music again or if people would look us in the face. Everything felt like it was over."
No Devotion release their debut single 'Stay', backed by 'Eyeshadow', on Collect Records today (01.07.14) and they will head out on tour later this month.
Speaking about their decision to move on, Stuart said: "We didn't know what else to do - we just wrote music. I didn't know if anyone would ever want to hear it. I just needed to occupy my brain. We just needed this."
The band also features guitarists Mike Lewis and Luke Gaze, drummer Luke Johnson and keyboardist Jamie Oliver and Geoff admits he "hadn't really listened" to Lostprophets but that he liked the musicians.
He said: "You don't really grow out of punk, you grow with it. To my mind, post-punk was about taking a more sophisticated approach to that sound, and I think we all have a shared respect for that era of modern music."
Speaking of the Ian being jailed and the affect his sentencing had on the band, Geoff added: "I didn't think it was fair, what was happening to them. And, well, the music was too good to pass up."
The band will play the following gigs from this month..
July 22 - Cardiff CF10
July 23 - Manchester Sound Control
July 25 - London O2 Islington Academy
July 26 - Glasgow O2 ABC2

Kasabian - featuring Tom Meighan, Serge Pizzorno, Ian Matthews and Chris Edwards - performed with fellow headliners Arcade Fire and Metallica at the event at Worthy Farm last week.
Billy Clyro, Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status, Nas and Jake Bugg have all been confirmed as guests, with Ed set to perform three brand new tracks from his forthcoming album 'x'.
Zane said: "What's really cool is that all these artists, a lot of them are really new. It's quite rare to speak to someone like Ed Sheeran and go, 'Let's go back', because he's too busy looking forward.
"We wanted to contextualise the journey and hear the emotional stuff and funny stuff and put it all together."
'Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain' launches on MTV Music on July 6 at 9.30pm.

Joey Essex thinks Britain's Princes William and Harry are trying to "copy" his style.
The former 'Only Way is Essex' star, who is known for his carefully coiffed and gelled hair, believes the royals have been inspired by his look but has given them permission to follow in his footsteps.
Speaking to blinkbox books, he said: "They're quite plain but they dress cool. I think they look good. They're both trying to copy my haircut, which is annoying. But if they want to do that, they can.
Joey also offered love advice to Prince Harry, 29, following his own on/off relationship with fellow 'TOWIE' star Sam Faiers.
The reality TV star believes the flame-haired royal should play it cool if he wants to win back his ex-girlfriend, blonde beauty Cressida Bonas.
He said: "Just stay calm. Don't play games and just be honest with your feelings."
Joey, 23, spoke to blinkbox books following the success of his best-selling autobiography, 'Being Reem'.
But the star - who couldn't tell time during his time in the jungle on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - admits he isn't much of a reader.
He added: "This is literally the only book I've ever read! I'm into pictures, really. I like pictures and stuff."
