Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry will unveil a new initiative on behalf of the Queen.
The royal brothers have teamed up to launch the 'The Queen's Young Leaders Programme' - a scheme devoted to finding new commonwealth leaders - at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (08.07.14), where they will personally deliver all the details associated with the initiative on behalf of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, reports Hello magazine.
It isn't the first time the pair have undertaken royal duties on behalf of the 88-year-old monarch.
During her diamond jubilee celebrations in 2012, the pair travelled worldwide to attend royal engagements, with Prince William, 32 and his wife Duchess Catherine visiting Malaysia, Singapore and the Solomon Islands and Prince Harry, 29, attending events in Jamaica, Belize, and The Bahamas.
The heir to the throne - the Prince of Wales - was also called on to represent the Queen at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Sri Lanka in November last year, following a review of the amount of long-haul travel the monarch was undertaking.
The Princes and the Duchess of Cambridge, 32, will also travel to the St Symphorien Military Cemetery - a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery near Mons, Belgium - next month, where they will take part in a commemorative event to mark the centenary of the First World War.
British ambassador to Belgium, Jonathan Brenton, said: "I am absolutely delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are coming to Belgium for the First World War Centenary commemorations this August.
"These commemorations remind us of the important bond between our two countries and the sacrifices we shared together one hundred years ago.
"It is vital that younger generations learn the lessons of the war by visiting memorials like St Symphorien near Mons, lest we forget".
James Lock will return to TOWIE this Sunday (06.07.14).
The reality TV star - who was suspended from the hit ITV2 show in April after he was charged with the possession of the class C drug ketamine - is set to return to the series this week after the matter was settled in court.
The 27-year-old was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs by the magistrates, according to The Sun newspaper.
A source said: "The decision was made that James will be allowed to return to filming now that the matter has been dealt with by the courts.
"James was suspended without pay and has shown great remorse.
"This will be acknowledged on screen upon his return to the show."
James - known as Lockie - isn't the only star of TOWIE to have found themselves subject to drug use allegations this year.
Mario Falcone's future on the show remains uncertain after he was caught on camera allegedly snorting cocaine and was subsequently suspended from filming and barred from 'The Only Way Is Marbs' specials.
However, prior to the allegations Mario had hinted at plans to leave the show.
He said: "I'm getting a bit bored to be honest."
Claudia Winkleman is "terrified" about co-hosting 'Strictly Come Dancing' alongside Tess Daly later this year.
The 42-year-old presenter, who has replaced favourite Sir Bruce Forsyth on the show, admits she'll be wracked with nerves when she takes on the full-time role in September.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Claudia - who previously co-presented the results show with Tess - said: "I am terrified. Terrified. I can't breathe. I don't know what I will be like when it comes to do it.
"Maybe I will be in a corner grinding my teeth. I just want to be useful. If I am, then it will be fine. I am going to be Tess and she will be Bruce."
However, the brunette beauty won't be showing off her fancy footwork like Bruce, 86, did when he opened the BBC One show because she can't multitask.
She explained: "It's my knees. I can't dance and speak at the same time. It will finish me off."
Not only does Claudia think her dance moves would make her a laughing stock in front of the nation, but she also admits she's having difficulties reading the autocue.
She said: "I can't see anything. I have really bad eyesight and I have a massive fringe. I am doing the wrong job.
"I am very lucky, I have been doing telly now for 25 years. I assume any second now it will end like a massive door slamming into me."
Meanwhile, Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli will return to judge this year's crop of celebrities' ballroom dancing moves.
ITV has ordered a British version of the 'Real Housewives'.
'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' will follow the glamorous champagne-fuelled lives of some of Britain's wealthiest housewives and is among the first programmes commissioned for ITV's new digital channel, ITVBe.
There are several iterations of 'Real Housewives' in the US set in cities including New York, New Jersey, Orange County and Beverly Hills.
The new channel - which will become the exclusive home of 'The Only Way is Essex' - will also air 'Seven Days With...', a new factual series that takes a peak into the everyday lives of a different famous couple in each episode. The stars will give viewers an insight into their relationship and family life away from the glitz and glamour of the red carpet.
Meanwhile, another new series, 'Baby Wears Prada', focuses on the boom of parents buying designer outfits for their little ones. The series follows one particular designer shop as well as the mums and dads who frequent it.
ITV's director of digital channels and acquisitions Angela Jain commented: "These new British commissions are part of ITVBe's strategy to offer our viewers fun and interesting insights into real people and their lives and also take a peek into the world of some more extraordinary lives. ITVBe. completes our portfolio of channels which will offer viewer breadth and choice."
ITVBe is expected to launch in the autumn.
Julian Fellowes would be "amazed" if 'Downton Abbey' didn't get a sixth series.
The hit ITV period drama will return for its fifth series later this year and the show's creator is optimistic that another run of episodes will follow.
He told Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I would be amazed if there wasn't another series after [this one].
"I don't know yet if there is a season six ... it's not going to go on forever."
'Downton' has been a monumental success in both the UK and in America, where it has picked up a legion of Hollywood fans.
Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal recently revealed she would love to play a role in the hit show.
She said: "I love 'Downton'. I would totally love to be in it. But I don't know how I would fit in.
"There is this parlour game where people say who they would be and a friend said she would of course be Lady Mary. She said I would be the cousin who sleeps with everybody! A rich English playgirl!"
Guest stars in the new series of the show include Richard E. Grant and Anna Chancellor.
Joe Manganiello has a huge crush on Sofia Vergara.
The 'True Blood' star is still looking for the right woman to share his life with but one lady who has caught his eye is the newly single 'Modern Family' actress and he would love to go on a date with her.
Asked what he looks for in a woman, he said: "Girls that do squats - I love a butt. Sofia Vergara, that's it. She's got that Latin thing going. She's got the butt, she's got curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous and she's feisty."
The 37-year-old actor is eager to find his soul mate, as he feels incomplete.
He said: "I'm at my best when I have someone to wake up next to and come home to. I know she's out there."
Joe - who has been voted People magazine's number one hottest bachelor - is eager to find a woman he can "trust" and someone who likes being affectionate.
Speaking in the new issue of the US magazine, he said: "I am part Sicilian. I am passionate. I am a hot-blooded person. If you don't like spicy, then maybe I'm not for you. I like hugs and kisses and snuggling. I'm a physical person. If you're not, then it ain't gonna work."
The actor leads a very healthy lifestyle after ditching alcohol more than a decade ago.
He said: "When I was younger I drank a lot, and I was not the person I wanted to be. That all had to go in order for me to look in the mirror and like what I saw, I've been sober 11-and-a-half years."
Megan Fox has joined Instagram.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' star signed up to the photo-sharing site on Thursday (03.07.14) and marked the occasion by posting a make up-free selfie.
She accompanied the snap, which sees her wearing a white bathrobe as she gazes into the camera, with the caption: "First IG selfie. Early morning no makeup filter (sic)."
The 28-year-old actress joined the site with the handle the_native_tiger and described herself as the "Child of the Cherokee Tribe, forest nymph, Lunar Leo mother goddess to two bohemian revolutionaries - my kamikaze free spirit and my peaceful warrior" in the information box.
Megan announced she'd joined the social networking site on her official Facebook page and told her fans to disregard all of the other accounts claiming to be her.
She wrote: "Hey guys- I am finally on Instagram, follow me at http://instagram.com/the_native_tiger
Disregard all the fake ones! (sic)."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty - who has sons Noah, two, and Bodhi, four months, with husband Brian Austin Green - recently admitted she's doesn't have many friends because socialising doesn't come naturally to her.
She said: "I consider myself a 'girl's girl' in that I'm not competitive, jealous, or catty but I don't have a ton of female friends - I have one. Her name is Mindy and she's a facialist. I don't have many guy friends, either. I've never been a social butterfly. I don't feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that's all I need."
Scarlett Johansson has won legal damages against an author.
The 'Captain America' actress claimed a mysterious blonde character in the novel 'The First Thing We Look At' by Gregoire Delacourt was her "exact double" and her legal team told a court in Paris, France, that the writer had invented a series of love affairs with other celebrities, which amounted to a "fraudulent use of her personal rights", The Sun newspaper reports.
However, the writer argued that the Johansson character was in fact meant as a "tribute" to her beauty, saying: "It was meant as the highest praise. She is an archetypal beauty of our times, very human with a touching fragility.
"She is a wonderful, iconic actress. I was hoping that she might send me flowers because this book is, in a way, a declaration of love."
He added: "If I had known she was going to kick up such a racket, I would have picked another actress."
However, Scarlett's lawyer told the court that the novel presented her as a "sex object" and that the love affairs detailed in the book never took place.
The 29-year-old star - who is pregnant with her first child and is engaged to the father, French journalist Romain Dauriac - sought an injunction to stop the novel being translated or adapted, but that request was thrown out by the court.
She also demanded £40,000 in damages but was awarded just £2,000 by the judge.
Nicole Kidman is planning to return to the West End.
The 47-year-old actress is involved in "complex negotiations" which could see her sign up to star in two plays back-to-back after she wowed London audiences with her hit 'The Blue Room' in 1998.
Speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper, she said: "I don't know how it's going to work yet, but yes, that's the idea. Two [productions] in a row."
The Australian beauty is being eyed up for Ivan Turgenev's comedy 'A Month In The Country', which would see her play Natalya, a mercurial wife of a wealthy Russian estate owner who falls in love with her son's tutor but is knocked back after she discovers her ward has also developed feelings for the young man.
The flame-haired beauty is also hopeful that her second project will come together, but remained tight-lipped on the title of the play and details about her potential role.
She explained: "I see so many plays in London, Sydney and New York, and I'm mindful that it's been a long time, but life and other work have conspired to keep me away.
"But I'm determined to make at least one of the proposals work. Who knows? Both of the proposals might come together."
Nicole is planning to move with her husband Keith Urban and their two daughters Sunday, five, and Faith, three, to London from the US if she secures her West End deal.
Britain's Prince Andrew and Will.I.Am have joined forces to encourage young people to start up their own businesses.
The 54-year-old royal has teamed up with the 'Scream & Shout' hitmaker as part of the 'inspiring Digital Enterprise Award' which aims to equip young people with important digital skills such as coding, computing and marketing.
The project has been launched with the tech group Nominet and will target people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The pair joined Susanna Reid on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' earlier today to discuss the scheme.
Prince Andrew explained: "If we don't give young people the skills to be able to work in this environment they are going to feel more ostracised than they may or may not be today and fundamentally I believe that this is not the preserve of the Etons, Harrows, Oxfords and Cambridges."
Grammy Award-winner Will.I.Am - who was previously invited to London's Buckingham Palace to discuss the project - admitted he was "over the moon" to have met the royal and was shocked when he took him up on the offer.
Wil.I.Am said: "I got invited to Buckingham Palace where Prince Andrew was there and I was so over the moon and full of excitement and I was telling him, 'young kids in the cities, we need to find opportunities for them'... I didn't think that conversation would follow up with 'Hey let's partner up'!"
The initiative is set to work with a number of business and educational partners in order to provide training and support to participants aged 16 to 25.
It also offers the opportunity for 20 teams of young people to pitch their digital business ideas to a panel of judges who will award a £15,000 prize to three groups of finalists so they can launch their own company.
Emma Watson is learning horseback riding for 'The Queen of the Tearling'.
The 24-year-old actress has been cast as heroine Kelsea Glynn in the upcoming film adaptation of Erika Johansen's action novel and it's now been revealed she's being fully trained to do all of her own stunts in the fantasy movie.
As well as the 'Harry Potter' star learning how to saddle up, she will receive several weeks of combat training, knife work and swordsmanship.
She will also be trained in snaring rabbits and climbing trees, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
The film will establish Emma as fearless Kelsea, who is removed from her home aged 19 to take her place as ruler of a fictional post-utopian country with dark secrets.
Much like 'The Hunger Games' actress Jennifer Lawrence, Watson will be stripped of make-up and transformed into a more realistic, athletic heroine.
One of her co-stars told the paper: "With Emma, it's hard to be that plain, but she'll be playing someone who has a physicality."
The screenplay is being penned by 'The Revenant' writer Mark L. Smith and David Heyman is set to act as producer while a director has yet to be chosen.
Warner Bros. are said to have snapped up the rights to the 'Tearling' trilogy in a bid to turn it into the next must-see young adult fantasy franchise.
Ken Jeong has joined the cast of 'Ride Along 2'.
'The Hangover' funny-man has signed up to star alongside original cast members Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in the upcoming cop comedy sequel, Variety reports.
